Amazingly this business seems to have survived the pandemic unscathed. Good food and good friendly service. Plenty of parking along side the main street. Would happily go again.

It's rare that I'll bother to leave a review less than 4 stars however I think it is important to offer constructive feedback. Pros: Excellent variety of seafood to choose from and able to choose method of coating on fish. Portion sizes are sensible. Wait times are reasonable. Staff during my visits have been pleasant. Cons: Tastes of the fried food all seem to blend together. The colour is always dark brown of all foods, suggesting that it has been a while since the oil has been changed. Quality of batter or heat of oil not high enough when the fish is added as the batter remains soggy meaning it hasn't flash fried upon entry. I'll give it a 3rd try next time I come through. Best of luck!

Quick service and Good size portion. Had option of a range of fish species in cabinet to be cookes fresh. Chips were warm well seasoned and crispy. A ticket system similar to a deli with a led board out front would be really cool and enable customers to wait in their cars.

Owner there is always friendly and helpful. Food is consistently fresh and made to order. You can taste they frequently change the oil in the fryers and it shows in the colour of the batter. Will always choose this store for takeaways.

Had the snack pack here last weekend. Chicken was seasoned well and the chips were perfect. Great amount of sauce. Glad to see them on the menu, great addition!!! Can't wait to get stuck into another 😛

Wife and I had grilled barra and snapper, and chips here yesterday... Totally awesome.. crunchy chips with soft inside.. fish still firm and juicy... Will be visiting her in the future for sure.. cant wait to taste the Thai menu as well

I've been coming here since before the new owners, and I'm glad that the shop is under new management. The last owners were nasty and extremely slow (I work in a takeaway shop, I'm not being picky). The new management are lovely and fast. Their chips are lovely and very good prices all around.

Fantastic food, if you are looking for fresh and amazing sea/Thai food then this place is worth stopping. Very few places to have veg options. Definitely recommend !!!

I couldn't understand why there were so many bad reviews when my experience was great. Friendly service, good food and reasonably priced. However I now see that they are new owners hence the previous reviews. I'll definitely be back.

Nice but not good. Food is overpriced and overcooked. Was a few customers in there when I went there and it showed in the service. The owner was clearly frazzled and let at least 5 customers walk out without being served. Hire more staff

Just to clear a few things up..... After reading the reviews I was hesitant to even bother with the place, but options were limited and the kids were hungry, we gave it a cracked out of desperation. The couple who own the joint were fantastic! The wife takes orders and prepares the food and they both share the cooking detail. On first glance the wife does apear rather inhospitable, maybe 50 yrs of life has just hardened her appearance and expression, not all that appealing, but it does not reflect her attitude at all!! Just give her a chance. It is true that you may have to repeat yourself, this is due to her poor hearing, not ignorance. The couple are also foreign and although their English is great a fast talking aussie may be a little hard too keep up with. Sorry for the long review, but considering the lack of traffic through the town since the fwy went in a decade or so ago, I just though someone should right some wrongs on their review's, the town needs all the help it can get. They were more than hospitable and I recommend you give them a go.
