Tried the "Plain Folk" burger and was impressed, the bun was soft and fresh, meat cooked perfectly and the Mayo / tomato combo was awesome(similar to a whopper I guess but better). Kids enjoyed their kid menu burgers too. Didn't snap any pics as I usually do so will have to come back again 😉

Kimchi fries... omg please. Everyone needs to get those kimchi fries!!!! 100% won't regret!!! When you get these fries, the burgers will become the side dish, it is that delicious. So much sauce and flavour, got the sweet, sour mild spice to it and the chips are so crispy and coated with this cheese sprinkle powder or something like wow perfection. Kimchi fries have been perfected at this store. My bulgogi burger was great, my partners KFC burger was also great he says. Yeah I'm coming back for fries goddamit

Korean burger goodness! We came across this burger joint on a bike ride through Olympic park/Wentworth point. Noticing the Korean fusion throughout the menu we knew this would be a pleasant experience and it sure did not disappoint us. We tried the plain folks beef burger and the hot chic chicken burger with a side chicken box fried chicken cheese fries. Could not fault the meals we got as a take away. Flavor was amazing and was blown away by the Korean style influence making the burgers ever so tasty. We'll be back to try more of the menu. Thanks!

Chanced upon this place. It was a delightful crispy chicken burger with a well cooked beef burger. You can request for meat well done but they cook the meat medium by default. Prices are slightly higher than average. An alternative to Burger Project I would say. Still delicious but not the best I’ve had. Will be back to try the other stuff on their menu.

My family visits there almost every week. We tried almost all menu. My kids loves thick milkshakes and chicken wings. My hubby likes hot chic burger with little spicy sauce. Even my kids love the homemade spicy sauce with chicken wings. Collaboration with sauce, patty inside and soft burger bun was amazing. The chefs make their own secret signature recipes. I found best burger shop in Sydney. They open till 10pm. Amazing and great.

I really enjoy the burgers and the sides at Plain Folks. I tried shrimp, hot chick, and truffle burgers and they were all super delicious. I recommand the truffle burger to big eaters. The 2 patties are so fat, it will definately fill you up. The sides are awesome. I reccomand The chicken box. The sweat potato chips and the cheese sticks were delicious. Great staff and great atmosphere.

Beautiful juicy burger. Really enjoyed it but it was missing something, something small and I can't put my finger on it that would take if from a 4 to 5 (I think I was craving bacon). Loved the cheesy fries, nicely seasoned and the cheese wasn't sickly. I'll be back.

Had the Chicken Box which was seasoned with snow cheese and their amazing sauces, was so tasty. Couldn’t put down the fork. Had the K.F.C (Korean fried chicken) and King Prawn Burgers, both REALLY amazing burgers. Did not feel heavy or have food coma feelings afterwards. Such great service and great quality food.

Ordered the plain folk meal with plain fries and coke and the bulgolgi burger meal with truffle fries and a vanilla milkshake. Service was great and the order was ready right on time. If I could add a criticism, the food felt like it was prepared way before the estimated pick up time, which is very much apprecaited for efficiency but it would be preferred if the food was ready closer to pick up time so that I can dig into a meal that is as hot as possible. The burger quality was good, and the chips were a bit cold but still good. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the plain folk meal. As for my bulgolgi meal, I found the the bulgolgi sauce way too sugary and it was too overwhelming to have with the milkshake and truffle sauce. Had to scrape the sauce out. Overall, would order from plainfolks again because I think they generally have a good product but will stick to the plainfolk meal to avoid an overly indulgent meal.

Tried the hot & spicy burger. Asked for extra spicy. Burger was amazing. Wasn't quite spicy enough for me, but the staff there accepted the challenge for the next visit. Chips were also soft, yet crunchy. Tasted great. Thick shake was smooth & thiccc. Keen to visit soon again. 🙂

Food: Excellent! This is another place that does charred patties really well! The flavours and combos are excellent. My fav so far is the standard burger (with an extra couple of patties). One of my favourite in Sydney at the moment! I hope they can maintain the consistency of putting out such amazing burgers! Price: Cheap! Between $11-14... You can get a double for only $14!! Service: Excellent, the staff are very attentive and the food comes out reasonably fast. Parking: Pretty easy, you'll get two hours free in Portside shopping centre.

Best burger joint I found so far and I'm not a burger person. It has its own KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) 😄. You guess it, this place has a Korean touch! I tried Bulgogi, KFC, Hot chic burger in my last two visits and they were all amazing with their own unique sauce. Don't forget the Sweet Potato wedges that come with cheese powder. Definitely will come back for more because as they say "all you need is burgers" 😉

Last few days I had a craving for a gourmet burger. So when I found this restaurant, I just walked in and made order. They were super fast. My burger was ready in a few minuites. Double Truffle, luxuriouly named burger was very big to bite. Double wagyu patties were huge and full of truffle flavour. It would be better to ask cutlery for ladys and kids. I haven't asked about meal combination. But on the menu the combination is chips and milkshakes only. I prefer to soft drinks or water though. I will be there with my child next time.

Alright, this is seriously good. Excellent value and every piece of their burgers are made with care and attention; the flavour of the burger meat itself is so good they don't need to rely on sauces and cheese to make the burger appealing. The sauce they do have is definitely there but it's a subtle, complimentary sauce, that doesn't overwhelm the taste of the meat(my biggest gripe with most burgers). And they aren't greasy, nor are they dry. Just bloody perfect. There isn't a lot of room to order, and if you have a wheelchair it might be a bit of a hassle getting access to it. But the staff are friendly, and I'm sure they'll do whatever they can to make your experience worthwhile

Nice service. I like the alfresco dining. The burgers are also very nice. They are freshly made and cooked according to your liking. The chips are nice and crispy as well. It would be nice if there are more other sauces apart from the standard ketchup/tomato sauce .

They have good food for good prices, when they are open. The trading hours say 10am to 10pm but they open late once at 11am they still hadn't opened, they take 30-40mins break at 1-2, and they consistently close early at 9pm, on two occasions they ran out of chicken at 8. Seriously get your stuff together, change the sign and be clearer with your customers. After the last time i really don't think I'll be back.

Was craving a truffle burger which only comes in a double, they can make you a single but charge the same as a double - $15 which to me is pretty steep for only a burger but can understand due to location. Ended up with plain folks burger (regular cheese burger) plus fries and drink - a bit too plain.. wasn’t bad but didn’t hit the spot.

Had the pleasure of chatting with lovely Sarah a few days ago who explained the menu to us as we had not tried their food before. Firstly let me say. Sarah is a lovely lady, very friendly and professional and at no time was there any pressure to buy! Sarah did inform us though that we would enjoy the food. Today I had the opportunity to try the Hit Chic Burger meal and wow what can I say other than it was sensational. The grilled chicken was mouth watering and the whole combination of the burger was so fresh and tasty. The chips were hot, crunchy and taste the way hot chips should taste. Without a doubt I have to say that this Burger shop is what Wentworth Point needed. Highly recommended if your after a great tasting burger of your choice in a great location with awesome owners and staff and no I’m not related in any way. Just an avid burger and good food lover. I’m local to the area and I tried this place for the first time yesterday and I am kicking myself that I haven’t tried it earlier. I ordered the Hot Chic, KFC Burger, and a Vanilla Thick shake - the burgers were amazing! Hands down, the best chicken burgers I have ever had - the chicken is succulent and super tasty, the veg is clean and fresh, and has that vibrant color of freshness and crunch. Even the paper pouch it is served in is a genius little touch, no mess whatsoever. Great little burger spot that does all the little things right!
