The Cockburn (Coburn) Village Caravan Park is a great camp. Literally it is the last S.A. stop before you enter NSW or the first S.A. stop after you leave NSW. They offer a paid camp and is literally the cheapest in S.A. $25 a night with power and hot showers! You can pay at the pub, the locals are very friendly and there are a total of 8 locals in town. It is a very small and quaint town yet very rich and rustic not to mention the million dollar views on of the unending sky. Sunsets and sunrises ate the best with uninterrupted views. The paid camp has a simple covered seating with tables and bench chairs with a brick BBQ pit. The toilets are located at the back right next to the showers. Toilets have toilet paper and water, and the shower have soap and water. Keys are given to you for access to both facilities and be mindful to close doors so critters wont come in. There are several flies but manageable and camp is on hard soil. Thank you Coburn for the great stay and generous hospitality.

Friendly New Managers. who go out of their way to accommodate you. Old but very clean accommodation , the meals are home cooked & healthy,& very tasty. You won't be sorry if you take time to stop & say hello. Also this hotel has featured in Australian movies in the past.

Old hotel in the middle of nowhere but clean, tidy and a great place to stop for food or a bed if you need. Lindsay and Heather were wonderful hosts and we're very appreciative of their help and hospitality. Thanks again

I was so happy to find this place! Lindsay was super helpful, sorting out my accommodation last minute & I was able to arrive late. Very quiet & comfortable, I’ll definitely be back and recommend Coburn Hotel & the rest house to everyone!

I booked in for two nights, but circumstances meant I could only stay for one. This in old-style pub life and I loved it. I got a nice home cooked meal and I had a very restful sleep, as the place was very quiet. There's everything you could need in your room and in the bathroom, but I brought all of my own stuff anyway. So glad I stopped here during my travels.

Great friendly volunteer hosts. Had veg soup for dinner which was great. Am in their caravan park good hot showers old but clean. All proceeds go towards town amenities like street lighting.
There was a family with 4 kids staying in the hotel tonight.

What a great place to stop on the Barrier Highway. It is a community pub run by the town and has variety of beers and other refreshing drinks. We had some toasted sandwiches and sat out the front hanging with Bear the dog and a few of the locals. Great to see community spirit and iniative....

Run by the people for the people! Coburn Hotel volunteers are legends. Amazing to walk in, have everyone there introduce themselves then chat away all night. Camping with facilities just down the road managed by the volunteers.

(Translated) Toilet and shower are shared.
The rooms are a bit small, but very fashionable.
The food is great and the pizza is great!
Space where there is beer, and there is fireplace, too and settles down.
