P. T.The apartment was very clean, tidy and well appointed with a kitchen and lounge room downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs.
We found descending the stairs a little hard on the bare foot when descending and the bathroom/toilet is open plan (ie no door) so if someone has stomach problems everyone will know it.
The location is good, just one block back from the main street and it's 2 pubs. There was a cafe/restaurant in the reception area that seemed to be doing a roaring trade as we headed back to our apartment on a Monday night.
A surcharge was added to the room rate for using a credit card which we did not realise when we paid. We had booked direct.
B. R.We loved our stay here, room was very comfortable, clean and modern, had lovely views from the balcony, and central enough to be easy walking distance for dinner at the pub. It’s a quiet location, had the best nights sleep, we will definitely stay here again.

You guys were an absolute life (and mattress) saver, when we forgot to pack nappies for our 4 night stay in the Flinders. You guys came with the goods when all the shops were shut. Thanks for going above and beyond for all our needs. Would totally recommend this place. Such new, clean, and well thought out apartments.
L. G. B.We were surprised to come across such nice accommodation in a small town. After having stayed in cheap motels during our road trip that week it was so nice to stay at the Great Northern Lodge. Parking is available. Check in was easy and the lady who showed us to our room was hospitable. Very clean, spacious, modern and the highlight was definitely the double shower! Bathroom doesn’t have a door but that didn’t matter. Plenty of cooking utensils and cutlery/crockery provided. Kettle & toaster. We didn’t use any of those as we ate out but handy knowing if we return to stay in Quorn again. Very quiet and peaceful.

K. D.Incredible hospitality! We had a lovely stay in the Great northern lodge. The diningroom/reception/bar is beautiful and this alone a good reason to stop here. Rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. Owners incredible friendly and warm. Would definitely recommend for holiday/business.

K. C.Stayed for 10 nights at the lodge in a balcony room and it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and all the food downstairs at Emily's bistro was amazing. We had the Sunday roast lunch which was delicious and the pasties were the best I've ever had. Overall we had a wonderful time and would throughly recommend anyone going to Quorn to stop over at the Great northern Lodge.

M. J.Absolutely loved this place, we stayed in one of the loft apartments which are extremely spacious and well appointed. We stayed one night, then returned for a second night. Check-in is located in Emilys Bistro which serves delicious homemade pies and sausage rolls. If we return to this area, this will be our first stop.

I. S. O.Excellent accommodation in the heart of the South Australian Flinders Ranges. Perfectly situated to explore the amazing, exciting and varied attractions that the area has to offer. (Pichi Richi Pass and Railway, Mt Remarkable, Warren Gorge, Alligator Gorge, the Amazing Wildlife) Very comfortable, well equipped for self catering or if you wish to experience the cusine of the area, an excellent restaurant is attached and all run by very friendly and helpful staff.
M. R.A special thankyou to the people at Great Nothern Lodge. I was part of a group who cycled from Hawker to Quorn via Mawson & Hysen Trail. We were planning to drive back to Adelaide, but were given the chance to use the lodge facilities to wash up and refresh - Fantastic! And what a great lodge it is, modern communal style with everything you could want! Would love to come back to Quorn and stay in such a great accommodation.

S. 0.So glad I found this place! I Stayed in a ground floor apartment. Very spacious, clean and quiet. Upon entry is the kitchen/dining/living area. Around the corner is the bedroom, which has no common wall with the neighbour, as behind the bedroom is a massive luxurious bathroom. After a very long day of driving, it was so great to have somewhere almost like home to stay. I can totally see how people would base themselves in such a great property to visit Flinders Ranges and ride the railway. I certainly plan to do just that in the future. So much better than staying in Port Augusta. Quorn is quiet though, but if you think ahead and bring what you need, all good. There is a small IGA, some cafes for lunch, but nothing for dinner. There are a couple of awesome looking pubs though (but was too tired to check them out this time). Quorn is a very historic little place.
