Charming hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Christmas Eve there was a knock at the door and we were given a plate of Christmas shaped biscuits - cute touch. Attentive staff at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Rooms and general areas of hotel very clean and neat. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas Eve celebration for our family.

Cannot fault this hotel in any way, service, staff, everything was brilliant, bed was so comfortable and the suite was divine. My new favourite hotel in Adelaide. The Mayflower Restaurant was amazing and did not disappoint, we will definitely be back!

Friendly and welcoming staff. Room was absolutely stunning. Requested for a room with a view and got exactly that. So relaxing, beautiful and luxurious. The best hotel bed and very clean and spacious bathroom.
Dinner at The Den was top class and the breakfast was definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in Adelaide so far. Opted for in-room breakfast dining and was delivered right on time. Checkout was smooth and easy and definitely enjoyed the stay. Thank you team Mayfair.

The Mayfair is a simply beautiful hotel. They did justice to the old building in the style and design of the hotel. The staff provided fantastic service and the room amazing. Many inclusions making the stay even nicer.
Chose to eat at "The Den" and it did not disappoint

A wonderful hotel in a central location close to many small bars and restaurants. The hotel staff were lovely, the room spacious and luxurious, the breakfast at the downstairs restaurant delicious. The only letdown was the rooftop bar, which in my opinion had incredibly unprofessional staff who were talking amongst themselves with their masks over their chin and with their mobile phones out in front of patrons, and the terrible cocktails we received. We ordered French 75s which are pretty common and certainly very classic cocktails, and the bartender had no idea what they were. He was about to put chambord in them before I stopped him! The end result was more lemon juice than gin or sparkling, and were undrinkable, at $20 each.

Beautiful hotel, staff were highly professional and friendly. Extremely clean with great facilities and food quality is of a high standard. Centrally located in Adelaide CBD with tram and bus stops straight outside front door. Many restaurants and small bars within 5 minutes walk. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This is the second time I have stayed at the wonderful Mayfair with my mum. I never thought the first time could be exceeded however this visit was very special. We stayed 2 nights and had all our expectations exceeded. Firstly all the personnel that we came into contact with were fabulous.
A special shout out to Aldred at the Den who remembered us from our last visit and made us feel so welcome back. We dined in both nights and the food and service was outstanding. Thankyou Aldred!
Our room was the same both visits and we love it. The beds are amazing. Our breakfast were great and on the last morning only felt like fruit and the wonderful lady (sorry I didn't get your name)
helping serve us gave us a platter to share! Wow.. that was service. The Mayfair is still the best 5 star hotel in Adelaide and all who work there are to be commended as you are an asset to the business. Thankyou for the wonderful memories

What an awesome hotel The Mayfair is. Welcoming attentive staff, superb building, decor and rooms, awesome bed, very comfortable and lovely restaurant/bars with excellent background music playing. If I could have given you 10 stars I would have. Extremely enjoyable stay, thank you to the wonderful friendly staff for making it that way.

How does it fair? It MAYfairs!
A modern, cozy, and clean hotel just across the street from Rundle Mall. How convenient!
The hotel room itself is pretty ordinary everything you'd expect apart from a bath. One little perk, is the unheard of, complementary minibar.
I like to sleep on a hard mattress and this was just up my alley. The sheet covers were thin, but even then I found it to be too hot. The beds are apparently custom made; which meant nothing because you sleep on the mattress.
Bathroom amenities were not APPELLES as advertised, but another brand called HUNTER LAB. The body lotion smelled werid, not plesent. If I had to describe it in one world, "old people", ok that was two 😅 and no offence, but older people DO smell different, go watch the documentary on it.
Unfortunately I was unable to try breakfast, due to the restaurant being closed as a positive COVID case was dining there several days beforehand.
Also something strange, I had 2 random charges on my credit card from Mayfair when I woke up, both declined. Don't know what that is about, maybe a glitch in the system?
Overall, worth it for the location, but just plain ordinary. Haven't came across anything that stands out or goes above and beyond. That deserves a solid 4/5 🎆
D. C.
The room was nice, and staff were fantastic. Food was OK but probably not 5 star. We were disappointed that the roof top bar and Mayflower restaurant were not open, and suggest that if COVID restrictions prevent business as usual it may be more economical and also provide a better guest experience if guests were given the option to reschedule for after COVID restrictions lift. They were very generous by giving us a tour of the roof top bar and a lovely bottle of sparkling to make up for only having the DEN open. Staff deserve 6 stars!

Booked here with a friend using the great state travel voucher at the end of June. The room was lovely, great size, and the bed was to die for!
Unfortunately we didn’t have hot water for our shower. We rang reception and we’re told they would send maintenance up. They then called back and said no one was on.
I asked what they could do then so we could have a hot shower, and they said there wasn’t anything.
She ended up sending up some gelato which was a nice gesture- I would have preferred to be able to have a hot shower though. It soured the experience quite a bit, even with the voucher it was quite pricey and then to not even be able to have shower, super disappointing.
Y. Z.
Delicious restaurant, nice ambience. Haven't stayed in the rooms personally but heard great things about them.
W. K.
1st time ever here the room we had was bloody great and omg the shower was yer I wish I had it home lol . We had a breakfast buffet in the morning , they had just about anything you could want for breakfast
K. C.
Wow!!! Dinner at The Den, Amazing food, service and friendly staff, cannot fault anything and we will definitely be back.
Stuart our waiter was friendly, helpful and made our dinner so much more enjoyable 🍰🧃

Really lovely hotel - only complaint was mixed messaging over availability of InRoom Breakfast.... had to leave most of it because it came so late!
A. M.
Amazing. Very highly recommended. One of the best hotels in Adelaide. Even the restaurants are amazing
j. j.
Fabulous hotel with very friendly staff. Food in the Den cafe was delicious and reasonably priced. The rooms were beautifully decorated and complimentary mini bar was a great treat. Would highly recommend
K. P.
Rooms are big, bed comfy ... Would definitely recommend you stay a night here...

Truly Exceptional!
The staff are trained exceptionally just to elevate your experience. They are all so kind, genuine and go above and beyond for their guests. Beautifully decorated rooms (very spacious with great city view), most comfortable beds, amazing restaurants with delicious foods and the cleanliness of the hotel make our stay pleasurable and would definitely stay there again.
B. K.
Great hotel with a very central location and close to Peel St where a lot the cool bars are. Friendly staff is a bonus! Rooms could be a little bigger but apart from that it is a very clean and nice place to stay. Recommended!
G. B.
Top accommodation and lovely room and breakfast. The doorman was very helpful.
S. E.
Nicest bed i have slept in. Very clean and friendly staff.
Breakfast 8/10

A beautiful luxurious hotel, we used our great state travel voucher for my partners birthday we had a amazing memorable stay! Gorgeous room, comfortable matress, room was immaculate and super modern. The hennesy roof top bar a stunning experience. Staff were courteous and professional. Totally above and beyond hotel the staff and also room with a coffee machine, pillow menu, complimentary chocolates, peanuts and chips in the mini bar and the breakfast delivered to the guests room in the morning was super tasty. Check out of 11 Thank you for a great stay. We will be returning again :)
H. K.
What a lovely quaint bespoke hotel. Coffee, food, drinks all available any time.
C. S.
Looks are deceiving, this place will surprise you once you get inside. The food was fantastic and looking to go back again soon
P. S.
Stayed here at the Mayfair Hotel last night and was very impressed. Beautiful rooms, excellent service and great value for money overall. The bed was extremely comfortable and and the complimentary bar and snack items were greatly appreciated.
You really need to have a drink on the rooftop bar - the views are spectacular! Well done on a delivering a truly 5 star Hotel in Adelaide 👍
M.
Great spot with terrace or indoors drinks. Atmosphere and lounge music very good. Staff is very friendly. However, not a great variety of wine. Fries are very good.
A. H.
Our stay was a birthday gift which we thoroughly enjoyed. The evening meal was superb. My husband was given a complimentary birthday cake which was a surprise. The only negative I can think of is that the pillows were too hard. Apart from that everything was good.
C. C.
The Mayfair hotel is definitely a hotel worth experiencing. The staff go over and beyond for their guests, the room was in immaculate condition and included a complimentary mini bar! A normal sized iron, ironing board and a hair dryer that was even better then my own! From memory there were about 7 different pillows to choose between, from plush to firm. The mattress was impressively comfortable and the room size was well larger then expected. I definitely will be back soon!
A. J.
Meh, I had such high hopes for my stay. The room was ok but not with $400+ that I paid. Staff where very casual and seemed to care more about gossiping than serving. The waiter at the Den was a joke. Yelling across the restaurant asking if we want anything else rather than coming up to us… once our cheese came out he made a point of telling us he made it up himself as the kitchen was closing…. It was only 8pm! You advise it closes at 9. At breakfast I had to telling the welcome lady I had pre-paid for breakfast 4 times as she wanted to charge it back to my. There is much better places to stay in Adelaide especially for the price I paid. Will not be going back
J. W.
Lovely room, great customer service & delicious breakfast
N. P.
Comfortable room, great service and delicious food.
The reason for 4 stars is that there is no valet service, it is a bit annoying that you need to park across the street in a Wilson Car Park, as well as the bathrobe is way too small for an average man.
Everything else was fantastic.
J.
Rooms and beds are comfy but there are a few things that need urgent attention. Wifi is virtually non existent and the shower pressure is super weak…when you’re laying $250 a night in Adelaide these are non-negotiable s. Staff were friendly.
G. C.
Came for a midweek night in town and really glad we did. Service was excellent. Rooms very nice and bed was perfect for us. Rooftop bar is a great little extra for a drink before heading out but also looked like the kind of place you could easily stay for a few at, the young lads working up there were also great. The location is fantastic (apart from the Hindley Street locals) walking distance to everything.
J. W.
Doesn't look all that impressive from the outside, bit it's a beautiful hotel. The rooms are luxurious, great little touches like a complimentary mini bar and plunger coffee in the room. The Mayflower restaurant was superb, both for dinner and breakfast, and the staff couldn't do enough to keep you happy. The only negative is the parking, don't arrive late evening on a Saturday as all the local car parks were full. Hopefully valet parking will be back on the cards at some point. I will definitely be back
P. W.
The Mayfair gives outstanding service. Rooms are lovely and clean and well appointed.
Due to a booking error we ended up in The Den for dinner. Aldred the manager was most apologetic and went the extra distance to make things right. The food was great, the venue serene and the service outstanding. We'll be back. Just love this place.
D. P.
Very nice rooms, luxurious feel.
No pool.
The location is probably the best of any hotel in Adelaide.
Semi-unique feature was the free mini bar restocked daily (with limited alcohol) so you can some chocolates, 1 beer, 1 cider and some soft drinks each day.
The beds weren't too my liking (the pillow top on the mattress was a bit too thick and soft so you sink into the mattress) but they I got to sleep so they weren't that bad. Some people would love that type of bed though.
The housekeeping was good but they did break a glass during their clean up and left it there instead of cleaning up after themselves. The rooms were very clean.
Didn't try room service, too expensive.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Overall I'd recommend staying here.
C. M.
Amazing, Classy and absolute value. Food was amazing, plenty of drink ranges and the staff is fantastic ❤️
G. L.
Stayed at the Mayfair for two nights and it was divine. Exceptional customer service, the staff can't do enough for you, always friendly and smiling. The rooms are stylish, elegant and the bed sumptuous. Even the lifts are beautiful! The room we upgraded to included a free mini bar, which was replenished daily. Thank you. Breakfast downstairs was delicious. The eggs were hot, that doesn't happen often at buffet breakfasts! The background music is perfect and the whole ambience of the hotel is elegantly wonderful. The location is fantastic too. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Adelaide but the Mayfair now. A truly memorable experience.
M. B.
We stayed at the Mayfair after the usual hotel we book was full. I was glad since the Mayfair exceeded my expectations and when we return we’ll certainly be staying again.
The rooms were large and spacious. The bed was comfortable with different options of pillows. We took the room upgrade so got a complimentary mini bar. (Though the options were minimal, it was free). The bathroom was large with a spacious shower and bath. The room was also sound proof so you were not woken with the normal street noise or by other hotel guests.
The gym was good and so were the other hotel amenities (rooftop bar, restaurants etc.).
The location was also perfect. Right in the middle of it.
L. H.
The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The wifi was terrible. 1-2mbps and unreliable. My colleague on a different floor had the same problem. There's no excuse for bad wifi in a 5 star hotel in 2021. The housekeeping service was poor. There were multiple days where the minibar, coffee pods, and toiletries were not restocked. One day they took our towels and did not replace them so we had to ask reception. The parking arrangement was annoying. We had to take our car out and back in to the carpark every 48 hours because the tickets only last that long
D. T.
We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights as soon as SA opened to Nsw. The location of the hotel is wonderful. The staff is very friendly. The room service was great n we enjoyed the breakfasts until Last Friday. I was told it would be delivered in 20 min but I had to wait for 50 min n after calling twice. Then I stopped calling for room service. Also with a 5 star hotel I was surprised the quilts do not have covers For hygienic reason. Hope these can be improved for my next stay.
N. B.
The room was terrific, loved it! The staff were amazing I would definitely stay again.
Just a couple of small things annoyed me, the free wi-fi was painfully slow and the TV's didn't have Netflix or YouTube or any streaming service, they had pay per view at $16 a movie.
But that is just me, next time I'll remember to take my laptop.

There was a bit of a hiccup that occurred during my recent stay due to a mistake that occurred with one of my included meals. It’s inevitable that all companies make mistakes at some point. However, what makes a company and their staff stand out is how they manage these errors and hiccups. At the Mayfair, I’d like to say they handled everything in a very professional and genuine manner - and was able to find other ways to help make my stay more pleasant. I’d especially like to thank the manager and supervisor that handled everything, well done to the staff at the Mayfair.

Very stylish hotel in the centre of Adelaide. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Always nice to have a bit of luxury away from home.

I had a wonderful stay. My room was a Deluxe King and was spacious, fresh and with excellent amenities. While travelling I really appreciate a quiet room with silent air conditioning. There were complimentary items in the mini bar and no hard sell from the team on checking in. Really friendly and clean.

I honestly can't find much at fault with this hotel. Every time we've stayed has always been a delight. The beds are arguably the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Excellent, prompt and friendly service. The Mayfair is always our first choice for a staycation in the city.
L. L.
Great service from the moment I arrived at the hotel, clean and quiet room and fabulous food. Room service was served quickly with fresh and full of flavour
G. P.
Service was great meals where also great would recommend for a get away
G. P.
This place is amazing, the rooms are nicely decorated and spacious (with double glazed windows to cut out the city noise). Highly rated the mattress they use and was tempted to order one for home.
The bar at the top of the hotel is also worth the visit. Ended my night out there with a few friends just casually having a drink.
R. G.
Great hotel. Great staff. Our room was comfortable and dinner was delicious. We did go elsewhere for breakfast because we didn't want to order a la carte (these covid times!)
M. D.
This is the most amazing and lovely hotel that I have stayed at in Australia. The service and care given to guests is 10 out of 10! The beds are fantastic and my room was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. Thanks Ebony for all your help to cancel our next booking due to the travel restrictions from interstate.

The bartenders at the Hennessy bar are so friendly and really go the extra mile...he made an extra effort on the complimentary bar snack for me and got me some gluten free toast because of allergies to some of the contents of the bar nuts mix. Thankyou so much
A. T.
Amazing hotel and service! The only place to stay in SA
M. W.
A beautiful boutique hotel in the very heart of Adelaide & after 3 stays it just keeps getting better! Fabulous spacious airy rooms, large stylish bathrooms, all impeccably presented. Warm & friendly staff who always go above & beyond to help with any guest queries. Function facilities are excellent & met all our requirements perfectly in both the Boardroom & larger Dinner venue. And absolutely one of the best breakfasts in town!
S. P.
Had an absolute divine stay here. Felt like the Queen. Service was fantastic, the room was stunning and the bed was like a cloud. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
G. S.
We went to the Mayfair for our 10th wedding anniversary. The silver plate on the bar top was dirty and upon moving it noticed there was chewing gum underneath it. One of the bedside lamps had a burn mark on it, presumably from a candle. There were stains on the couch. The complimentary minibar was very basic and lacking options. In general the room was unclean and tired. We went to the bar to redeem our drink vouchers and chose to have a couple of cocktails, however we were told that cocktails are not included. Why on earth not? On a positive note the service was outstanding and the staff were very friendly and helpful. For the amount I paid for the stay I expected more.
J. B.
Staff friendly and professional and attractive inside and room was great

Consistently high standard in every way. One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Stunning decor, rooms beautifully appointed, in excellent condition and always sparkling clean. Beds and pillows are amazingly comfortable. Service is always exceptional. Cant fault this hotel.
F. S.
Very beautiful hotel. The rooms are very modern with comfortable bedding and decent bathrooms. The bar at the top is so stunning, styled very well with a full bar, very nice way to spend the afternoon. The restaurant downstairs is very nice too, nice touch to have a pianist. Very fancy hotel for an acceptable price, good distance from town. Would love to visit again.
a. F.
Excellent hotel. Beautiful rooms ,perfect service.
Hennessy roof top bar is fantastic
Keep up the hard work.
G. P.
What a stunning hotel. The staff and security were so pleasant and friendly. The roof top bar was Incredible. The buffet breakfast was amazing. Could not have asked for a better experience! Thanks so much, we will definitely be back on our next trip to Adelaide!
R. S.
I really wanted to love this place, perhaps id set my hopes to high but we left feeling underwhelmed. Great location and amazing view but service lacked a polish that i would expect from such a highly rated establishment. Room service dessert food was poor quality and room was not thoroughly cleaned or stocked.
K. C.
Stay for 2 separate stays over the same week, during the pandemic. Staff were accomodating and friendly. As a person staying alone I felt safe. Kitchen was run off their feet with room service but still came within reasonable time and was lovely and tasty. As a country person staying in the city I felt very fancy, well looked after and incredibly safe. 5 star service 5 star rooms at reasonable prices that country people can afford!
I will be staying again.

New Years Eve at the Mayfair Hotel Mayflower Restaurant, what a great celebration, 5 Course Setting, delicious and relaxing night celebrating. Dont forget to book and you won't miss out on a good time.
Z. G.
you walk in and instantly feel glamorous. it is comfortable, and the room stays dark until you open the blinds. the food was immaculately presented, not to mention the service was impeccable for a family of four. free, fast wifi but should definitely have a Netflix or movie access for entertainment. overall, grade experience and would absolutely come back.
R. P.
A very elegant hotel with courteous, professional staff as to be expected from an establishment of this quality. Check-in and concierge services were good. Standards throughout the hotel were high with a comfortable and quiet room provided. Room service and housekeeping were efficient and of a high level.
h. p.
The internet service was painfully slow.
The mattress was too soft for my liking. I rang reception on my first night but his reply was that all the beds were the same and did not offer any solution.
The floral arrangements at reception was very tacky and did not compliment the style of this hotel.
On the plus side:)
Love the location
The staff Is the greatest asset for the hotel from cleaning ladies to attendants- all service with a smile. Beyond what I expected. Anytime we were near the lifts and there was a staff around they would always press the lifts for us. Thank you!
A. J.
beautiful and modern. you really notice all the attention to detail and staff go beyond lengths to make your stay special. worth every penny, we will be back!
m. p.
Beautiful food, a little pricey but you get what you pay for.
L. T.
The staff were very polite & professional, our bags were in room while we were still checking in. The room was lovely, very clean, the bed i could take home. I will stay there again but abit more of a stay.

Champagne High Tea for 60th birthday
Private room
Very underwhelmed , I had several phone calls with staff before the event while doing original booking, explaining it was my 60th birthday, I said we were coming in black tie and everyone would be dressed up, so on the day when we all arrived in our best outfits one of the staff took me over to see where they were putting us, I was horrified to see black laminate table, No white linen tablecloths, it looked like a suburban pub, the people in the main part of high tea area had table cloths , this was supposed to be the best high tea experience in town , after saying how disappointed I was a couple of times they finally offered to reset the tables for us while we waited, once the food was served it all came out looking very nice and there was plenty of it and tasted very nice, and even though we were given a discount on our bill, it really spoiled the day, we were all expecting something fabulous
Nothing like other high teas I’ve been to where all the gorgeous silverware comes out with fabulous fine China and feels luxurious,
I’m afraid it was nothing like that at all, very average at best
R. E.
Very cosy boutique hotel.
Brilliant food.
Room very comfortable room & well presented.
Very close to Rundle Mall for the obligatory shopping spree.
G. K.
Had a fabulous stay, room was quite spacious, bed was very comfortable. Even though our room overlooked the busy Hindley St on a Saturday night, we did not hear any noise due to the double glazing.. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Will definitely be back
K. N.
Service is 5 star, rooms are gorgeous. Very comfortable bed with sensational style. Very modern/French decor. Location is right in the middle of the city. No parking but taxi stand is right outside. Rooftop bar is amazing. Very affordable prices too.
H. S.
This is a very elegant hotel with very helpful and pleasant staff. The rooms are spacious and have the largest TVs I've seen in any hotel room. The fridge was stocked with complimentary snacks such as chocolate bars and soft drinks, a very classy touch. While the bathroom was clean and spacious, it took at least five minutes to regulate the temperature each time we used it. We also had the unfortunate experience of uninterrupted sleep as result of a very loud flag waving in the wind overnight creating a constant intermittent humming sound.
J. S.
My favorite hotel in Adelaide. Rooms are incredibly nice and service is always great. Roof bar and basement bar. Taxi queue right outside. Across the street from Rundle Mall. Can't be beat!

I recently stayed at the Mayfair on recommendation from a friend.
Great central location.
It was an amazing experience from check in to check out. The hotel is really beautiful and the room was so nice and everything you need they had.
The staff were execptional and so lovely and helpful.
Would definitely recommend to stay here and will do again.

Beautifully presented hotel, however maintenance and customer service is not up to a 5 Star standard. Restaurant meal prices are high for what you get. Staff are friendly and helpful, but are very thin on the ground.

Good location, nice rooms, free minibar, overall great service, nice rooftop bar. I'd go out for breakfast though as our experience wasn't five star

The Mayfair hotel was an amazing hotel to stay at. The staff were lovely and always happy to help. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The included breakfasts were delicious and had a large variety. The location was also fantastic, being situated in the center of the city. Overall I would largely recommenced staying at the Mayfair Hotel.
M. R.
The comfiest beds around! I travel a lot and have stayed in a lot if hotels, bit when I come to Adelaide I always return the the Mayfair. The beds are amazing and the best night hotel sleep I've had. Other amenities are great too. Love the rooftop bar. The staff are amazing and the rooms are just great. If travelling for business it's a great setup with plenty of space to get stuff done.
C. S.
The hotel inside looks magnificent, the rooms are set up fantastically and if you're looking for a good nights sleep the beds are to die for.
Standard hotel gym for those inclined. The continental breakfast is very inclusive, it includes a range of local produce but also bacon, eggs and some other hot foods that must normally be ordered.
If you wish to go to the rooftop bar make sure to dress appropriately or you won't be served however the cocktails are fantastic and with the effort.
L.
Really enjoyed the Mayfair. It definitely had an old world almost gothic vibe about it. My room was spacious and the room service meals I got weren't too bad at all. Strangely the shower in the room I had was bigger than the entire bathroom in my old apartment so that was interesting (and no there weren't two shower heads if that's what you're thinking...). Only thing that was a bit of a let down was the buffet breakfast in the morning - while I get it's not easy to keep a constant flow of food available, the quality of some things left a little to be desired. Bacon was way overcooked, hash browns were cold, small things but unfortunate things.
N. B.
If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would. It is so beautiful and you are taken care of perfectly from the time you check in. We had the breakfast each morning and it was superb. They had an interesting little honey station which was cute and everything you could absolutely wish for cooked perfectly. The location is amazing just across the road from the Rundle Mall. Rooms are big and spacious the bathrooms are enormous. Definitely worth staying here if you go to Adelaide
M. W.
Stayed here during the Adelaide Fringe and it was excellent. The rooms are spacious, very clean and quiet, the staff are kind and helpful and the location is superb (right next to the main shopping strip, near plenty of cafes and restaurants and a six minute walk to the famous Adelaide Central Market). I highly recommend! A +++

Nice rooms , good service, great food, amazing vanilla cappuccino
Only complaint is limited parking spot while having to check in and out! Had to circle few times in traffic to get a spot....
P. B.
Great hotel with excellent friendly service. Room and the fitout is of high standards and quality.
A few points for improvement, wifi is slow so had to use my mobile data for the duration of my stay, Corner Lamp was faulty which we reported on the first night but was not addressed so we had a dark corner for the duration of our stay. We would also avoid the food next time.
J. W.
Amazing food and great sevice. Absolutely fabulous Well Done Mayfair.
T. J. M.
The hotel was in a great spot. Right above a fun street with good nightlife. The room was pretty decent and everything worked fine. The bathroom needed a new bath tub but other than that everything was in a good condition. Can't really beat the location of this hotel. And also decently priced .
N. J.
Went there to attend a wedding reception. Staffs were helpful and kind, always have a smile on their face while serving the customers. Food and drinks were good, especially their signature dessert honeycomb lemon tart.
P. S.
A beautiful hotel right in the centre of Adelaide. Adelaide has been missing a great hotel like it for many years. The staff were very friendly and the roof top bar is a great place for a drink.
The reason for the 4 rating is that there is a smell of sewage in the hallways where the rooms are along with a dampness smell in our room which was unpleasant.
Overall though it was a great place to stay.
B. L.
Beautiful rooms, plenty of space and impeccable service. Stayed overnight and enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Will be back again.
D. H.
Rooms are large and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and modern. This hotel has an excellent roof top bar with some great live music. Perfect place to spend a summer evening.
S. K.
Located in the heart of Adelaide, the Mayfair is a great hotel with what has been thus far one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. I also ordered room service and was so surprised at the quality of the food. The food was excellent, especially considering I ordered after hours. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Mayfair Hotel was exceptional. The greeting you receive from the hotel concierge straight off the street was a great indication of how good my stay at the hotel would be. The hotel room was faultless. The fit and finish of the décor was a cut above any other hotel stays. The WiFi was exceptionally fast and the complimentary mini bar was a great touch. The bed felt like an expensive latex mattress that although a little too soft for my liking was comfortable. The personalised name on both the very large TV and phone was a quirky touch. The bathroom was very large and the shower had great flow and pressure which is an absolute must when starting your day clean and refreshed.
The lifts were a tad confusing when trying to access the roof top bar and the restaurant at the basement level. The roof top bar was a great addition however the drinks are pricey. The restaurant was a tad fancy than what I would usually attend. However the restaurant manager was an excellent host and engaged with all the tables in a very pleasant and humourous manner. The food was absolutely awesome with a fillet steak cooked medium rare and thick triple cooked fries that did not disappoint.
Overall a great experience and one that I would book again when in Adelaide.
A. H.
Amazing bed and room. Service was exceptional and hints and tips from the concierge on places to go were great. One star off because the in room dining was not very good. Would definitely stay again
X.
Nice and clean but level 3 lobby kinda smells. The rooftop bar is pretty cool. Pianist at the downstairs bar is a nice touch. There was a Mancunian on the piano with the most amazing Christian Laboutin loafers with a Love motif that I have ever seen.
His musical skills and charming personality will bring us back to the Mayfair Hotel for sure.
M. O.
Excellent Hotel. Professional but warm and friendly. Love the free mini-bar and wifi. Restaurant has a good selection at a premium price and value. Great service.

We booked two rooms in this brilliant hotel. Its our fourth stay in as many years. Work commitments don't allow us to go away this time of the year so a #staycation was our only choice.
Early check-in allowed us to have a nice casual lunch in THE DEN followed up with a great coffee.
We had tickets to the "Nights of Nights" in the The Hennessy Rooftop Bar for their NYE celebrations and a great time was had by all.
Service was great, food plenty and DJ and Conga player played great music all night making sure the punters danced the night away and welcomed in 2020 with a bang.
The Mayfair Hotel is walking distance to Elder Park so the kids walked to watch the free concert and fireworks with some friends.
Our sleep was perfect, oh those beds, a must!!!! do yourself a favour..... So comfortable.
Breakfast buffet was tasty and plentiful.
All aspects of our stay was top class. Clean environment, welcoming and friendly staff, value for money and the best location in Adelaide.
Do not hesitate, book a few rooms today!!!
j. y.
This is a great location with great service but not 5 star for us, really overpriced for a room which had stains on the couch, was very dusty, the lamp had a burn mark, the mini bar had 1 beer and 1 cider, no wine, most complimentary mini bars at least have picolos of wine, we were pleased to have water though. We were also given a vou

Excellent food with amazing table service.

I love the Mayfair hotel. Staying here for business is an absolute delight, because the staff, facilities and ambiance is terrific. Special note of the incredible bar on the top floor that serves a mean amaretto sour.
b. b.
I stay in hotels a lot and the Mayfair is pretty average for what you pay. Staff were friendly, and it was built up as one of the best in Adelaide but definitely didn't hit my expectations. I stay with the Marriott group almost exclusively when I travel so thought the Mayfair stamp would hold their standards true. I would probably stay at the Hilton next time Im in town.
n. w.
great hotel, loved the room and amenities including the roof top bar. awesome food. friendly, professional staff who made us feel welcome. highly recommend!
S. G.
Beautiful new hotel in the heart of Adelaide. Rooms and the whole hotel in general have a great design throughout. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parking is a pain with no onsite spots available. Don't bring a car if not necessary. Definitely be staying here again, it's great!
f.
Great stay at the Mayfair. Everything was clean and the hotel is in a great location. Staff super friendly and helpful.
T. H.
Excellent cocktails and boutique beers. Tasteful, cosy setting. Nice views of the city from outdoor balconies. Class service. Not the cheapest drinks in Adelaide ($13 pints for locally brewed boutique pale ale) but worth every cent
C. S.
Excellent service as allways love this place amazing staff fantastic roof top bar.The cream of Adelaide.
S. T.
Lovely food. We were on the roof top. Staff happy to serve savory food but when asked to bring out a plate of dessert was reluctant to do so. Seemed very put out that he was asked. When the host of the party brought out dessert the waiter was quite disgusted that I was served the desert. I'm sorry but customer service is lacking!
B. L.
Its really lovely inside Mayfair hotel lots of space two different rooms to eat inside, lovely coffee and cakes. Very clean . Lovely seating a variety to choose from . Have been there twice and i will be going again when i get time.
M. L. S.
A fabulous experience. Great staff, great room, great location. We spent 4 nights at the Mayfair and would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in Adelaide. Close to centre of the City , easy walk to Botanic Gardens, Zoo and Adelaide Oval. The hotel decor was very stylish, the room size was satisfactory with a comfortable bed and choice of pillows. Large flat screen TV was a pleasant addition. After checking out we were able to leave our bags and were offered an umbrella as showers were predicted upon our return the concierge arrange our transport to the airport. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience. M & B Melbourne Vic

Complimentary minibar except for premium wine tours off the experience. Quiet, comfortable bed, right in the centre of town. Best place I've stayed in Adelaide.
T. M.
We were very happy with the location (just north of the CBD) and with the facilities. The people who own it are lovely and always on for a chat. The pictures on the website did not tally with the reality in the slightest and our 'bedroom' was an old balcony that had been made into a room but could only really be described as a cell.
S. h.
Far from a Five star experience. Breakfast cramped , crowded with little space between tables and the servery. If you want a barista coffee be prepared to pay extra on top of the $30+ dollar breakfast fee. Concierge service , apparently 2 should be available at all times, we sadly could never find them. When we did we were greeted with snide comments " of the cars been sitting here for a while !" front desk service , the simple skill of acknowledgement was missing , I don't mind waiting but at least a smile or a "wont be long" goes a long way. My wife and I both visit Adelaide for business on a regular basis, I would find it hard to return to the Mayfair in preference over some of the older but cheaper established hotels that have staff with better customer skills.
D. M.
Always a pleasure to stay there 10 out of 10 for everything
L. O.
Fantastic hotel right in the middle of everything. Great rooftop bar and excellent staff
C. S.
After enjoying the sights sounds and smells of the Gouger Street Chinese Food Festival, having a Very Tasty and Wonderfully Blended and Brewed Coffee downstairs in the MAYFAIR...
The Perfect way to end the Night.
Friendly Staff, lovely Coffee and Decadent desserts.
We'll be back there for sure 😇👍
D. M.
Stayed here the night of our wedding. Best hotel hands down in Adelaide, you get exactly what you pay for, it has style and class, the mini bar is complimentary, we got given a bottle of sparkling to congratulate us when we arrived, the beds are ridiculously comfy and the rooms are a great size and the bathrooms are pristine, clean and classy. If you are going to stay in Adelaide, and you want that luxury hotel feel, as Justin Bieber would say, it's a no brainer. P.s the room service was a crazy standard as well, delicious.
S.
Still saving up with my monopoly money, but in real life it is a great place to stay with very luxurious rooms. Great place to stay and I recommend it!
S. W.
Best hotel in Adelaide. Location is great just at the end of Rundle Mall. Vallet Parking is offered. Service was friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well styled. Large Showers with no bathtub, which I prefer. Breakfast was great, nice to see Avocado on the Breakfast buffet. For the quality they are offering the pricing is very reasonable. Ill be back next time i'm in Adelaide!
J.
I came here with my husband on his work trip to Adelaide and this would be the first time I’ve ever heard of Mayfair Hotel much less stayed there.
I was in for a wonderful treat. Upon entering the lobby, I was amazed by the elegant and beautiful decor and a gorgeous floral scent.
Our room further reflected the hotel’s elegance, with plenty of what I deemed as “feminine” touches such as chandelier lamps, crystal knobs on the furniture, funky seat stool, woolly throw, decorative cushions on the bed and L’Occitane toiletries! The biggest surprise was the FREE MINI BAR items including the items in the fridge that encompassed Kit Kats, mint chocolate, soft drinks as well as beer and cider!!
I have never been so spoilt during a stay at a hotel before!!
The Reception and Bellboy staff were professional and friendly in their service, dealing with our requests and queries in an efficient and pleasant manner.
The Mayflower Restaurant and Hennessy Bar further continued the decor theme and were all gorgeously decked out with plenty of attention to detail in every aspect. It was a visual feast!
You also really can’t go past the hotel’s great location right opposite Rundle Mall!
If you ever visit Adelaide, make sure you stay here! I promise you’ll be sorry you have to leave...eventually!
P. W.
Beautiful place excellent location and awesome staff. 👌
L. S.
Amazing - Great hotel experience! Beautiful clean, modern room. Receptionist offered room options which were suited to our needs, she also explained hotel facilities such as rooftop bar, restaurant, parking facilities etc. A lock-in memory! Thank you!
M. D.
Beautiful rooms breakfast was delicious
D. C.
Concierge was very helpful. The room service breakfast was served hot and well made. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of power points for devices.
C. C.
Beautiful hotel with great staff and a fabulous high tea setting. This unique hotel is a highlight to Adelaide, even if you are not staying there. The Mayflower Restaurant and I Hennessey Bar are excellent. The Mayfair is bringing back traditional hotel style in a big way!
S. D.
The Mayfair hotel has a very upper-class sort of feel to it. The catering provided by them for the event I attended was excellent. The function room had good audio, and was very spacious. Very impressed overall.
A. M.
I only tried the rooftop bar this time around but I'll be making a point to try the hotel next time I visit Adelaide, because what I saw was beautiful. The outdoor areas were quite tight in some places but if you get there early enough you may bag yourself a table and chairs. They only had Peroni on tap but we made do with the Rockford Black Shiraz...
D. A.
Excellent room, and customer service. Free mini bar snacks and refreshments is a first time experience and I loved it! Highly recommend!
A. E.
Had a brief stay here after my wedding, before our honeymoon. The staff were all great, the room was extremely comfortable and the entire experience was great. Recommended! 🙂☺️😊
M. J.
The most comfortable hotel bed I've ever had the pleasure to sleep in. Hotel room was clean and beautifully decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
P. F.
Best hotel in Adelaide, luxurious stylish rooms and excellent service. In the heart of CBD and rooftop bar in addition which you don’t even have to leave the hotel to have some great time.
T. M.
Greenways has lots of repeat business and is on the list of recommended comfortable budget accommodation for families of patients staying in the nearby hospitals. For the price we paid, I thought the value was exceptional. In the several weeks we were there a place for our car was always available on the property.
K. T.
Adelaide's best kept secret. Loved my stay here. Central, quiet, top food and bars. If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to visit downstairs restaurant. Cake & coffee package, to die for!
O.
Visited the rooftop bar, very trendy place and staff were dressed very well and were very polite. Recommend checking out if in the CBD. Only down side is it is quite a small space and has limited seating especially if your after a sunset view. Will be back again soon.
Btw in order to get to the rooftop bar you need to head downstairs first.
j. c.
Nice hotel, great location and friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately housekeeping let us down. Second day, no refill of drinks and condiments from the mini bar - not even fresh bottles of water. All in all a pleasant stay.
T. M.
Less than 15 minutes from the airport. Greenways is located on the main road but you wouldn't know as the building is double glazed so you don't hear much if any noise. Its clean older style accommodation with all you need and service with a smile. Highly recommend, I'll be back.
C. S.
The Mayfair hotel was absolutely outstanding. I can't decide what the best part was. The food was delicious the service fantastic. The bed was so soft and comfortable. Overall the Mayfair was an amazing experience.
A. L.
Beautiful historic building with stunning, large rooms in an ideal location. Clean, fresh, stylish hotel with great service. Couldn’t have asked for more.
K. p.
The Mayfair hotel was a really nice place to stay we booked a King Suite and the room was absolutely gorgeous, the king size bed so soft and comfortable I just melted into it, everything in the room was of good quality I thoroughly enjoyed it, on booking I ordered champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries to be in our room on arrival and they made it happen, there’s an outdoor area on the seventh floor for smokers which has a good view of beehive corner, now all my life whenever staying in hotels travelling or for work I have always loved having a buffet breakfast but due to COVID and changing times hotels have stopped it and I really miss that, we had breakfast and it was very nice but it wasn’t my buffet and that’s not Mayfair’s fault, there was only one downside to staying here and that is the hotel doesn’t have a car park because of its location on the corner of hindley street and king william street there’s no public parking either which means nowhere to park your car while you check in, now the hotel does have 2 reserved spots outside it’s doors for guests to park while they check in but with most guests checking in at 2pm good luck with that, the hotel does offer cheaper rates to park in the multi storey Wilson’s car park which is 50 metres down the street across the road but you need to check in first to get that ticket, my partner dropped me off drove around the block while I checked us in and got the ticket so we made it work and like I said it’s the only downside and I do highly recommend staying here, thanks Mayfair we will come back.
S. O.
The rooms are fabulous, mini bar is free (except wine) staff are excellent..very friendly and helpful. The Hennessy Bar is awesome. I highly recommend this place..especially for a romantic stay..it get 5 🌟 from me
M. H.
This rooftop bar used to be excellent. Now it has trashy neons and a very different vibe. Still a solid view though and generally quite good service from knowledgeable bar staff.
T. W.
I called in for a cocktail in the Mayfair bar down the large spiral staircase near the main entrance. Even though it's a basement it feels very light and you can easily see up to Street level.
Ryan made me, quite literally, the best Long Island Ice Tea I've ever had. Just as well because it was $22. Highly recommended Ryan cocktail making prowess. Having chatted for a time in the BEAUTIFUL marble soaked bar he suggested I take the lift up to the Hennessy bar on the roof.
Oh My Word!
Another beautiful bar, chandeliers, marble, attractive seating nooks giving one a sense of privacy, but the view is the draw card. I favour looking down upon a city and I can't think of a better place to do it from then out on the roof of the Mayfair Hotel.
Dylan at the bar told me all about the bar, their services, dress code and let me explore the facilities. The staff at both bars were very professional and welcoming.
I normally have a glamorous birthday bash and I can think of no place better to meet up with a group of friends than up at the Hennessy bar.
5 Stars Mayfair Hotel :-)
J. C.
Really stylish rooftop bar, loved that they had an in house bee hive to use as ingredients for cocktails, great place to have a quiet few drinks on a saturday afternoon. Didnt see any of the other facilites but it all looked pretty sweet.
P. E.
Fantastic boutique hotel in a great location. Recently renovated with tasteful classic interiors. They do a great Buffett breakfast in the Mayflower restaurant while the bar downstairs does great Espresso Martinis!
T. T.
Phenomenal hospitality, facilities, staff service, room comfort, room service, food and array of breakfast buffet options. I am really looking forward to enjoying the rest of stay and what the number 1 place to stay in Adelaide has to offer.
#5StarsForTheMayfair

Maddi was absolutely amazing to deal with and she was so friendly and warm and went out of her way to help both myself and my collegue. The guys at the concierge desk were also amazing! Definitely 5 star service!
P. M.
Fantastic hotel, great faclilties. Overall extremely clean and well presented. One of the best hotel buffet breakfasts I have ever had
G. B.
Excellent selection of wines, whiskies and cocktails. Good location. Staff have a good knowledge of their craft. Stays open late. Mixed crowd of people.
S. C.
Great location, unfortunately we had half a sprite bottle left in our fridge and cleaners left a dirty cloth after cleaning.
D. M.
Stayed in the King Suite. Nicely appointed. Hotel in great location. Unfortunately no bar's or eating places open at our visit.
S. H.
Wow, what a great place to STAY!!!! Front staff was awsome. Ebony is anytime a staff to be employed by any corporate. Awsome smile, attitude and highly professional. You guys should be damn lucky to have her!!!!

Wow, what a great hotel. Everything you want when travelling. Will be back! Complimentary mini bar! Great bed and pillows. Thank you
A. F.
Lovely rooms, beds and beakfast. Convenient location. Attention to detail not as good as it used to be! Nice rooftop bar though!
T. M.
For reasons ohter than that, the Apartments are less than a ten minute walk to The Adelaide Oval. Its surrounded by beautiful housesa cute opshop n coffee shop at the corner. Stayed with my best friend who I hadn't seen in 18 years with our families and it was easy to stay at Greenways.
J. P.
In the opinion the best hotel in Adelaide CBD. Good rooms, great service and always feel welcomed and relaxed at this hotel. Nice bar on the rooftop.
A. F.
Nothing exceptional , rooftop bar prices over the top as you'd expect at a hotel and the layout of the room (1001) was sub optimal with a semi spare room with spare TV and chaise lounge detached from the regular room. Not a huge fan but each to their own.
T. C.
Fantastic, Locations. Rooms were finished off impeccably and Breakfast was delicious. Definitely will be returning! Best Hotel in Adelaide CBD
J. L.
Lovely hotel... Beautifully restored old building, they paid attention to the detail... Nice aura... Plus amazing rooftop bar with great views over Adelaide!
K. T.
True 5 star hotel. Great service and attention to detail
T. L.
Handy central Adelaide hotel with good rooms and included minibar! Rooftop bar. Lots of choice at breakfast. Helpful staff.
W. H.
Rooms were nicely set out and furnished
Though bed felt too soft
Water pressure in bathroom was low and hot water took a very long time to come through
R. E.
My first fine dining experience and could not ask for a better one. Excellent food and deserts and service and was less expensive than we had anticipated. We will definitely be returning!!
J. K.
A great weekend away. Excellent service. Beautiful and fantastic rooms
T. M.
A short walk up the hill will get you to O'Connell street in North Adelaide were there are a multitude of restaurants & cafe's. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will have a long term relationship with Adelaide due to my sons specialist medical unit being located here and we will come back here for every visit.
C. U.
Beautiful grand hotel. One of the best I have stayed in, in Adelaide. Make sure you check out the Hennessy Rooftop Bar if you have the chance.
L. S.
Very nice and cozy rooms, showers are amazing probably the best part of the room. Has tea and coffee no kitchen but has a kettle.
A. P.
Excellent location, very stylish hotel, quiet room with a great bed, very good breakfast. Close to all the touristic locations by feet.
S. P.
Awesome place to stay at in Adelaide. Everything you wish to see is within walking distance of this place. And they have an awesome rooftop bar!
G. W.
Love this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, the rooms are classy and nicely appointed and a great, central location.
K. S.
Visited for a work Christmas party. At a prime location in the heart of the city. Great views from the rooftop bar - however they weren't geared up to handle the Chrissy rush and the place got overcorwded - the food was good and the desserts were mind blowing :)
N. A.
Great hotel. Right on Rundle St this hotel not only has a great location but the staff were amazing and very happy to help and offer advice on things to do. The rooms are luxurious and clean with great attention to detail.
A. J.
Great service and really helpful and friendly staff. Also, very impressed that the drinks and nibbles in the mini bar are complimentary. Highly recommended.

Beautiful room, comfy bed, gorgeous bathroom and amazing service! Loved it ♡
B. T.
Great central location, close to Rundle Mall, Adelaide oval and transport to beaches. Helpful staff, great rooftop bar and buffet breakfast. Gym was a little claustrophobic but did the job.
O. L.
The best coffee and desserts in town
S. L.
The hotel is great, the roof top bar could be great for hotel guests but filled up with 18 year olds already drunk before they arrived which made it not a great environment.
E. S.
Beautiful room with all the amenities you require. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional.
R. L.
Amazing service and accommodation! Will definitely continue to stay at this wonderful hotel.
K. K.
A beautiful venue, very well appointed and the staff are lovely. The rooftop bar is cozy and beautiful, with an amazing view of the city and down Rundle Mall.
D. M.
The most divinely decadent hotel in the whole of Adelaide CBD! It is also the most convenient to Rundle Mall and other major attractions on North Terrace. No detail has been spared with l'occitane products in the bathroom, luscious bed spreads and decorative pieces throughout the complex! AmAzing
C. M.
Such a beautiful hotel and some staff are very attentive, unfortunately we were inexplicably disturbed by room service at almost 11pm on our wedding night and staff did not even offer an apology when they were informed which was very disappointing.
X. J. L.
Nice decor and facilities, internet not as "high-speed" as advertised.
A. M.
Had a lovely one night stay at Mayfair. Close to everything include food establishments and pubs. The room and the luxury bathroom was a bonus too.

D. v.
Very nice place to stay rooms are good size and clean. Good location close to everything. Would stay again
M. N.
The Mayfair is a still only a couple of years young(old). It is smack bang right where you want to be staying in the CBD of Adelaide if your visiting as everything you want and need access to is within 10-15 walk, e.g. tram station to either Glenelg Beach or the other way is Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Adelaide City Railway Station which is nested below the Adelaide Casino. The Adelaide Oval is just the other side of the River Torrens from there. And finally the hotel is situated on the corner of King William Street which runs through the middle of the CBD, Hindley St which is full of restaurants and crazy your night life and clubs. And lastly Rundell Mall the heart of Adelaides shopping district.
G. B.
A beautiful place to stay in the heart of the city. Breakfast was exceptional and staff were first class.
Z. C.
Amazing customer service! So helpful and polite would definitely stay again

The Mayfair had a fantastic bar, comfortable and classy, however was let down by the prices of drinks. You pay an extra couple of dollars per drink than you would most places
