J. C. L.Big pub with lots of tables. Nice food, they have some nice dishes so it offers a big of different experience then your regular pub. Nice round tables are very good for large groups. Service was excellent! Lots of parking too.
M. H.Great food .To be recommended. We were taken there by friends. We had a mix up with our desert order but all well in the end thank you.
R. M.This place a touch of up to modern and old school charm with it's back date bar and layout. Outside seating while you eat and injoy the view of ocean and cool sea breeze in summer setting.

J. V. (.My go to for lunch and dinner everytime I visit. As I know it's a place I can actually relax and have a good meal and beer. Been visiting for the last 20 odd years and never has disappointed.
G. H.Very average pub meal, some burnt items amongst our meals. Chips below average. Vegetables were a non-event. Batter on fish is watery somehow. I don't think any of the staff actually spoke to our group other than to allocate meals. Very lackluster experience.

T. S.Waiters didn't speak to us, even when we said thank you multiple times. Food was really average. Food and appetisers all came out at the same time, except one, one appetiser came out half way through the main. The tavern itself is a little drab. I'd probably pass next time.
V. H.Great location. Spacious & well set out for functions etc. Delicious fresh seafood plus the usual pub fav's. Love the extensive collection of historic whaling & seafaring memorabilia on display.
B. Y. (.Middleton Tavern has friendly courteous staff, I highly recommend dropping in for an excellent meal in the dinning room at very reasonable prices for tasty good quality food.
The Bar has friendly bar staff and the gaming room has a good mix of Pokies.

I. L.Love this place. We again chose it for a big family function. The staff were super helpful in making it all happen. The meals were yummy and of reasonable value. The venue is great and I would certainly be recommending this as a weekend destination drive if you're in the City and looking for something to do with the day.

J. C.I had a wonderful time with my special family get together lunch on Saturday. The table was set up beautifully in the function room, such pleasant surroundings and lovely view. Everyone was very happy with their meal, the staff cheerful and helpful even though we stayed later than we should have. Thank you so much to everyone.

J. B.The place itself is good. I liked the environment, the sea theme. Cool fireplace. Service was quick on the Saturday but the food is just average. Not bad but it would be so easy to be better. I had crumbed prawns but it was mixed with some floury squishy batter, I could not really taste the prawns. I am sure there are better quality fries that the one they served. The vegies came it with was mostly tasteless just boild with plain water but the texture was good. Churros served with vanilla ice and melted chocolate was excellent.

S. C.Fast efficient friendly service on Snitty night. Generous serving, cleanly fried, not greasy. Salads & sauces ok, pleasant surrounding with lots of interesting maritime pictures artifacts, memorabilia. Plenty of room to move & nice log fire on a cold night.
U. K.Food was excellent. And without us even asking, our children's meals were brought out first - every parent knows how important this is 😁. Another important point for us was the kids meals had decent bits of vegetables in them too - broccoli, cauliflower, carrots not just fish and chips.

P. P.First time at the tavern. Great deals with meals...Tuesday was seafood night ....we had Barramundi at a very reasonable cost. It was yummy! Also great that I could get a Guiness as some hotels in Victor don't stock this beverage. Staff were very friendly as well and accommodating. We would definitely recommend the Middleton Tavern to our friends!
R. H.Lovely views and good service. Place spaced out. Food is usual pub meal not amazing but what you'd expect with very reasonable prices.
L. V.Polite and friendly staff. Satay skewers tasted ok. Value fish and chips at lunch were soso. Batter was bit soggy and chips had the oily taste. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat there but i guess loads of other people love it.
B. A.Second visit in as many weeks. Excellent food both times with extremely generous portions. They don't skimp on quality ingredients either. Feta and shaved Romano in the salad bar - along with a yummy sweet rice salad with cashews and walnuts. Bacon on even the daily special burger which I expected to be a run of the mill affair but was unexpectedly good. (Recommend the chicken schnitzel burger.)

M. D. F.We love eating at the Middleton Tavern. We enjoy the drive from the city. The food is always delicious and the staff are always friendly. Today my husband had a porterhouse steak, cooked perfectly and very tasty. I had a chicken schnitzel with satay sauce which was spicy and I loved it. Our friends had the coopers ale battered fish and a seafood combo which they loved. The salad bar is yummy and I always love the potato bake. The loaves of bread are soooooo fresh and you can cut the slices as thick as you want. Our waitress today Heather was lovely and polite, respectful and friendly with a beautiful smile. Thank you Heather for looking after us and also Barry who loved having his photo taken with you. We'll be back !!

My family received our meals within 30 minutes, the cashier did not remember to actually put through to the kitchen the meals my boyfriend's family ordered, even tough they have paid. Family run venue with a cosy dining area.
The menu has it's normal pub grub on it and also has a Blackboard with Specials including Steak, Chicken Breast, Fish and a curry that all change how they're cooked each week.
Definitely worth a look and they are kid friendly with their own menu and a nice Dessert board to choose from as well.

V. K. B.Lovely modern tavern with old world feel; given by the historical seafaring artifacts and pictures. The barstools in the Sports Bar are very comfortable. While Friday night is a bit of a 'locals' night this meant the atmosphere was good. Smiling, efficient staff and good food at a good price ( although the ' soft crab' probably needed a little more cooking and the Kangaroo a little less) overall a very tasty meal with an absolutely delicious, light, Sticky Date Pudding with cream and ice cream. The bar was well stocked and for myself; there was a good selection of ciders on tap and bottled!

A. A.We came to the Middleton Tavern for my inlaws wedding anniversary for a meal. Not only are the meals fantastic but the environment and staff are well above expectations. I plan on coming for a meal every time I stay in Victor Harbour or Goolwa. I recommend it to everyone. Best night out ever
M. M.I love Middleton Tavern, the food is yummy and comes with a free salad bar. There's also a little casino and raffles on Friday, also daily specials 😊 and the prices are good, the service and inside is great too so I definitely recommend this restaurant 🍴

F. R.Staff were very helpful when I rang saying that I needed a gluten free meal. They had a substantial amount of options, which is highly unusual for a pub in my experience, including a vegetarian option. I probably wouldn't have been thrilled if I was a GF vegetarian, but I'm not. I was very happy to have so many options, the food was good, the service was quick, the food was cheap and I didn't get sick afterwards. Perfect combo for a Ceoliac. :)
