D. R.Great authentic pub vibe. Staff were amazing, even going all out to make our experience a night to remember. Great food as well. Brilliant sunset outside to top it off.

D. C.Catered for table of 18. Meals were good pub style and a good price, pub was busy with staff on the move but they kept up well. Clean and refreshed pub. However a few days later we shared a hamburger, not good, meat small piece of cheese and lettuce, not good enough. I should have said something then.
C. P.As a Milang resident, I find myself in the Pier Hotel at least a couple of times a week. Always a cheery welcome, a kind smile & excellent service. A good pub with great food, local wines and a happy crowd in the bar. Not much more a local pub needs really. Since writing this review there have been some changes. The owners have changed twice but the operators of the hotel have maintained a standard. Recently new operator, Grant, and staff took over. We have dined there and enjoyed our meals. I think it augurs well for the future.
S. W.Just re opened with new management. Excellent meal of Coorong Mullet, not available everywhere. Very reasonable wine prices of Langhorn Creek wines. Friendly staff and very clean amenities.
c. g.Service was friendly and quick but meal was a bit disappointing. Seafood platter was quite good , but no salad offered to accompany it unless you count 6 strands of brown edged lettuce! Only one vegetarian option but not actually written on the menu.
Nice enough pub dining area but even though there appear to be staff buzzing round, you order food at the bar.

P. W.We are visiting my brother in Milang and went to The Pier hotel tonight for dinner. We were greeted by the manager who offered us a cold drink of water as we sat at our table. The food was freshly cooked and beautifully presented. Very reasonably priced and very tasty. The waiting staff behind the bar and on the floor were very friendly. We will definitely be returning to this local for a meal.

N. T.My wife and I were visiting family in Milang and made a booking at the Pier Hotel for lunch. I wasn't expecting much but ended up with quite possibly the best seafood platter Ive even eaten. I had the fish grilled and everything tasted fresh, like it had been caught that day. I'm looking forward to going to Milang again just for the seafood platter. Everyone else at my table also enjoyed their meals immensely.

L. S.I am a local and new what this hotel was like prior to new owner i wouldn't step foot in the place . Had a simple take away meal from this pub yesterday and besides the meal being cooked really well the new owners have given the place a really good face lift great food thanks chef and a place you want to go back to because of the atmosphere and friendly helpful staff
