D. E.Everything works perfectly. The shower, TV, easy chair, bed, curtains, WiFi and parking are all great. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. Despite its age, it's probably the best budget motel I've ever stayed in

The rooms were large and the bed was warm and comfortable.
Parts of the rooms have been updated but the rooms could certainly do with a full makeover.
My room had a bit of a musty smell, most likely due to old carpets and old furniture.
Certainly not 5-star but generally speaking a comfortable budget motel.

No complaints with the continental breakfast, great range of cereals & toast. Owner offered to make fried eggs each morning. Felt like being part of the family as Gary sat & chatted each morning even George the cat gave us a warm welcome! Every day Gary asked if there was anything else we needed. Changed our towels even though we didnt ask them to. Hotel very well situated to travel to surrounding areas. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for a very pleasurable stay.

Netflix in room was a lovely surprise. Incredible fried eggs at continental breakfast and friendly staff. All round a lovely place to stay in Millicent. Highly recommend.
R. C.We stayed with our 8mo rottweiler. Check in was easy and Guy was very helpful. The room was lovely and very comfortable. Our pup loved the grassed area, which was big enough for a game of fetch after a long car ride.

The owner had obviously spent money upgrading the rooms - bathroom / kitchenette and lounge. Great value for money including breakfast - $98. The owner was very welcoming – We received excellent service.

B. B.A very nice & well presented Motel. The room on first impressions, was what a big bright room. The room was very clean, the bathroom quite big. There is a Restaurant tho we didn't visit. Because we booked direct the price was excellent and we are to have a free continental breakfast. A very good price $95.00 for all. We do recommend this motel

Best part of our stay is the bed warmer (was already turned on by the owner before we arrived) thoughtful and just lovely.
Continental breakfast was reasonably good with plenty of different cereals, and Moccona coffee!
My partner and I have stayed at many 5 star hotels; however this hotel in the middle of nowhere (I know, I know) exceeds expectations. It’s the little things!
A.Good value for money, clean rooms and the beds was so, so comfortable in room 9! The staff were very friendly. They have a beautiful cat that hangs around near the kitchen too. He was so sweet. Would stay again.

This little gem has clean rooms, super comfy beds, reclining leather arm chairs & free super fast wifi. The flat screen tv also has Netflix and the only one with the EPG program that worked.
Fantastic breakfast selection for $97 and you can also have a fried egg if you so desire.
With friendly talkative owners to top off the over night stay.
S. C.My wife, daughter and I stayed at the Millicent Motel with Gary and Merlinda and were so surprised by our host's welcoming warmth and generosity.
Gary and Merlinda are lovely people and made us so welcome.
They are new owners of the motel and are really making the place nice again. We found it very peaceful with no road noise to keep us awake. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. All the rooms have free access to the internet via a wifi connection.
I was really surprised to see that a continental breakfast with tea or coffee is only $5 a person. That is so good!
Millicent Motel is different to many hotels and motels I have stayed at, it has that really relaxed and comfortable atmosphere you get when staying with friends.
This place is a gem and we will be back.

T.This motel has well appointed 2 room units at a price which is more than acceptable when compared to other motels .there are two large reclining chairs, reasonable size flat screen TV ,late model air-conditioning system. Kitchenette with micro wave toaster electric jug and so on. Price includes a lite breakfast. It is situated on the Mt Gambier side of Millicent and is only1/2 hr from Mt Gambier. At $95 a night it is great value for the money.
M. L.Gary & Melinda were very hospitable when we arrived, there was a family gathering & we were invited to join in and eat. From the beginning they were down to earth and friendly. Gary told us that they bought the Motel some 13 months ago & are working hard to add some class. But he said all good things take time. They have revamped most rooms with new aircons, beds, toaster, kettles,TV, sheets , blankets boosted the Free WiFi & painted throughout. Then he tells me that they have more to do. l'm sure they will. Great value! Thanks Garry & Melinda. We will return to see the new changes.

V. S.(Translated) Well-maintained motel in Millicent. There is not too much to do here. Except for a national park which is not far away. There are some nice walkways there. The motel is clean and absolutely quiet. Breakfast is available for self-service from 7am in the breakfast room.

Gepflegtes Motel in Millicent. All zu viel zu tun gibt es hier nicht. Außer einen Nationalpark welcher nicht weit entfernt ist. Dort gibt es ein paar schöne Walkways. Das Motel ist sauber und absolut ruhig. Frühstück gibt es zur Selbstbedienung ab 7am im Frühstücksraum.
