R. G.If you're a rev head I'm sure it's a 5 star. But out of season, it's understandably dead The bar and restaurant are closed and being a few kms out of town it's a good stay just for an overnight stay.
B. G.We went up for a last minute night away at the Rydges Pit Lane, not knowing whether anything would be happening on the track or not.
After I made my reservation I googled all the reviews and I was quite sceptical as a lot of the reviews are quite negative, I am glad I didn't listen to any of them.
We could not fault any part of our stay!
The communication with the staff in the lead up to our stay was fantastic, the whole location is beyond amazing. The room we had was stunning, right next to the start line. We booked the Dinner Date Package, the food was delicious and the staff on Saturday were fantastic, they looked after us so well. Breakfast the next day did not disappoint either, amazing again.
Late check out on the Sunday and the opportunity to watch some racing as well just topped it off nicely.
Fantastic hospitality all weekend made our stay one that we will never forget.
We will recommend and we will be back!

Jess on the front desk was great, we arrived quite late for our 1st night and she checked us in no problemo given that we added a second night at late notice. The restaurant staff were all fantastic too. Meal was great and would definitely recommend to others and will be back ourselves.

l. b.Atter having an unexpected cancellation with our previous accomodation, and wanting to be close to the race track. We booked in, quite quickly and easily compaired to other places were you have to book in advance.
The room we had was lovely and the guy at the front, I cant remember his name but he was great and very good about getting us a room for the night with such last minute notice. He was friendly and his customer service fantastic!

D.Hotel was very clean. Staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. On the downside I accepted their offer to pay an extra $10 to upgrade my Track room overlooking pit lane to the Executive suite, but when we got there the electronic swipe key to the room didn't work. After a couple of tiring treks back and forth to reception to try other keys the receptionist came up and advised they had been having problems with the keys and we would have to downgrade to a Paddock room since there were other Executive rooms available but they wouldn't be cleaned until the next morning. Pretty disappointing since I had relinquished my Track room to get the upgrade but that had since been taken by someone else. Wasted over an hour messing around just to check in when we were hungry and just wanted to eat and relax after a 2 hour drive. To their credit they offered us a free breakfast on the Sunday but that only really made up the difference between what we paid and what we should have got. A free dinner as compensation as well would have changed this review considerably since the breakfast was only average. My partner found the coffee in the dining area only lukewarm too which was surprising since we were the only people there so its not like they were busy. We also found the TV channels were a problem, sometimes working, sometimes not. But for these 'bugs' this could have easily been a 5 star review. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Hopefully I can leave a better review next time if they can resolve the issues I mentioned. They need a new cook to that knows how to cook crispy bacon and not turn fried mushrooms into mush (which I discarded).

I. T.Back for the 3rd time. It's always a great stay at The Bend. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. As there was racing on that evening, the booking staff put us in a quiet room and one close to the restaurant on level 1, thank you so much. Little things like that make you want to return. Will be returning.
Y. C.We stayed at Rydges Pit Lane for the weekend 13/14 March 2021 with our family of 25 to celebrate our son's 40th birthday. We had seven beautiful large rooms that had everything you needed they were clean and tastefully done. From the moment I began enquiring about our stay I was confident it would be a good experience - staff were so helpful accommodating us and our complex needs with children and babies in tow. On arrival Lucas was just amazing checking us in and ensuring it all went smoothly. We then enjoyed 1.5 hours at the Go Karts and it was so much fun. Then off to the playground and swimming pool at the Big 4 which guests at Rydges have access to which was beautifully clean and a privilege to use. We booked in for 6.30 for dinner and again the restaurant staff could not have been more helpful. Activities for the children were provided and meals were delicious. Breakfast the next morning, no surprises, again the service and meals were amazing and the staff managed our large group with ease. My husband and I stayed on for an extra night and we are so pleased we did. We enjoyed the car racing, the atmosphere and the service. 10/10 for our stay and 10/10 for Lucas who is brilliant - he used my name whenever he saw me and could not have been more helpful - hospitality at it's best. We will be back again with our family who have all said they want to come back - and there are some "scores" to be settled on that Go Kart track. Highly recommend the stay and the experience

Just finished up a 3 night stay here. So I booked an executive king track view room which is almost the most expensive room, I booked it over other cheaper options purely as a bath was depicted in the online listing.
I was surprised to arrive and see that there was no bath in my room, upon enquiring at reception I was told that despite it being depicted, not all of them have baths and they do not tell you this online. You have to specifically request it when booking, so make note of that. Apparently there were no rooms to move me to despite there being about 3 cars in the carpark.
Was also strange to see no mini bar offering. Hotel restaurant was closed for the holidays but I was advised of this before staying so that is fine but again something to mindful of.
My third and final night was the best, having to endure a very loud and obscene phone argument between a guest and (from what i could tell) her mother. This went on for the better part of an hour before I called security at 11pm who, after 15 minutes, arrived during a lull in the argument so were unable to ascertain anything and left. After some time it quietened to a hushed argument between the occupants, with one encouraging the other to hit them, lovely.
Upon checkout, I raised the issue with reception who seemed aware of the issue but showed minimal concern with barely an apology. No offer of compensation, I was simply told I could have requested a room change. I shouldn't have to change room, the disruptive guests should or they should have been removed from the premises. At the very least I will be seeking a refund of my final night from management which should have been offered to me anyway.
In summary, I booked this as it is close to my family and seemed a better offering than the caravan parks and motel in Tailem Bend but I'm now thinking they would have been a better choice. At least the bed was comfortable I suppose. For a relatively new premises, there are concerning signs of damage, my door looked like it had been kicked pretty hard at some point and was difficult to close. I would strongly advise against booking here unless you are an avid racing fan and there is an event on.
I work in tourism, managing over 60 holiday rental properties, so I hate to be THAT guest but I would hate for others to go through what I did.
M. H.Only about 3 years old its and nice hotel. Normally $130.00 per night and well worth it. The staff make all the difference and are efficient and good fun. During the V8's rate bumps up to $950 a night with a minimum 5 day package. Not for the budget conscious traveller during that week. Way over the top but right on the track however would do it again as we had 5 great days.
G. J.My son and I stay recently, my son races motor bikes, how great to have accommodation right there, we were upgraded to the pit lane room, thanks to the lovely lady at reception,. The food was amazing and with breakfast as part of the deal how can you do wrong. Beds were amazing and the pillows are lovely and soft. We were well catered for and it was a busy weekend. The only things for me that detracted a little bit were, there was only 1 chair so if you wanted to watch the racing only one of you could sit, there was no information with emergency numbers or the evacuation plan in the room and in the bathroom, which I must add was lovely, the water from the shower went over the bathroom floor and the sliding door didn't quite seal the bathroom. Minor things really when you put them up against all the good things. As for price, first of I thought a bit expensive but when you add up 2 days breakfast for 2 people, the prices isn't that bad. I will definitely be staying there again.
T.This is a convenient hotel if visiting for a race at The Bend or sight seeing the surrounds of Murray Bridge. Half the rooms overlook the race track while the other half overlooks the car park. When no event is on, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere although there is the BP and Hungry Jacks around the corner.
One thing to note is there is one entry/exit to the rooms which is all down a hallway, hence it is best to ask for a room closer to the entrance otherwise you will have a long walk down.

T. W.Well situated for my work trip- visiting sites in the Mallee Coorong district. The bar and restaurant facilities are excellent.
Rooms are very basic but comfortable. I was surprised that there was not a stocked minibar in the room. Also missing where outlets next to the bedside tables (none that I could find anyway) which meant I had to charge my phone on the desk away from the bed. And no clock/radio on the bedside table was annoying. I think people need either their phone charging next to them or a clock.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
R. S.I went to the restaurant with a group of people. The service was amazing and the layout/furnishing was incredible. The only reason why I am not giving this place a five star rating is because the food took over an hour to arrive, in parts - not for the whole group at once. We gathered that the restaurant was understaffed. I will still go back, hopefully the food takes less time.
R. N.We stayed here with our family due to the bend track day on friday 7th june. The hotel was amazing and such a perfect location for the car enthusiast. The staff were ever so welcoming. Our room (track side executive king suite) was perfect for viewing the track and for our children to relax whilst we took it all in. Will be coming back for more events. Highly recommend

w. M.Amazing place. I'm not a motorsport racing fan at all but having been here the main building with the cars in the foyer and the gokarts in another building. Motel at the welcome centre and then a short distance away the big4 bend Park, has all just blown me away. Great set up and I expect it will just continue to grow.
