Really great pub food, the best in the region, the rump was not a piece of steak that was cut thin and hanging over the plate, instead it was cut thick and cooked to perfection (medium rare), I couldn't eat it all but shared it family. Salad was excellent and place was clean.

We were going to go to Port Pirie, but stopped at Warnertown. Nipped into the pub for lunch. Nice and cool. Friendly staff. There were five of us. The meals were great. Good size. I'd happily go again.

The newly managed Flinders Rest, or know to locals as the Warnertown Pub, is great country local pub food at its best in a friendly, character filled setting. Ample free parking directly in front of the pub, with easy access to the main entrance. The friendly staff provide awesome service with our meals arriving quickly. We had to die for onion rings and all mains served with not one ! but three salads! and a basket of hot seasoned chips.

Bought 4 take away schnitzel packs. $109. Huge, delicious, fresh, packaged well in pizza boxes with the best take away salad I've ever eaten packaged separately. Sauces packed separately so didn't go soggy in transport.

Tried the Warnertown Pub/Bakery for lunch and coffee. Everything was really tasty but hell the radio was so loud, I couldn’t hear her and she definitely couldn’t hear what i was ordering. Quite the shouting match.

Lovely atmosphere, great food and service, we went and there EFTPOS was down, who carries cash these days LOL, there prices are so good, that we were able to scrap together enough cash for 6 adults to have snittys with sauces each and we were given complimentary drinks. We will be going back when we can try something else from the menu, but the snittys where perfectly done and huge serves, I can't say enough about this Hotel, just a fantastic place, and with the open fireplace, just beautiful. Highly highly recommend. Tina is fabulous.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I had a Chicken schnitzel with Diane Gravy and it was beautiful - up there with the best I've had. My partner has an Outback Jack (Mixed Grill) and it came out cold. It was a busy night so we're prepared to go back again for another go. Small town local pubs need our support. (Edited from a couple of years ago)

Great place. Dropped in for dinner a few nights on recommendation while staying in the area for work. Staff all very friendly, food is tasty. Had a chicken schnity and then salmon, enjoyed both (mango + salmon = excellent). Business has only been operating here a few weeks, future is looking good. Will definitely drop in again next time I'm in the area.

Great little pub, renos happening, it is going to be fabulous! So much history. Food was delicious, beer cold. Free camping out the back, with shower and toilet available if needed. Support these places, or they'll be gone for good! Thanks for having us Kirk!

Great place stop for meal and drink freindly and very helpful . The publican has flat neat gravel blocks at rear where you can free camp for the night after a few beers n food . Great help from management .Flinders Rest Hotel (Warnertown pub) . Thanks Trev and Fi .

Once again SA comes up trumps..parking for a semi ,,,pint (yendl)and parmi was tops (20 BUCKS),,heaps for this fat truckie and each one of all the staff were so friendly and all held a conversation with me at different parts of the evening ,,i got the feeling they were family running it .Kitchen was busy and everyone thanked the staff as they left obviously satisfied. Even offered a shower when they picked me for a truckie .Heaps better option than local roadhouses around Port Pirie .Cheers Ghostie.
