J. D.This place is just magical! Our entire experience was amazing and seamless. This is the perfect spot for couples or singles to unwind, relax and be treated to such luxury and beauty. Our suite balcony looked out on to the river. The room was decorated so beautifully and had such nice touches including toothpaste (which we forgot!) and the softest robes I've ever worn. The owners provided such wonderful service and the breakfast was very tasty. The whole house and property is stunning and we also really enjoyed the spa bath. The bed and fireplace were great too! So many things to rave about. Highly recommend staying here. It is in a great location between the beaches and hinterland too. We will definitely come back!

N. Y.Loved this place! My fiancé and I stayed here for our 5 year anniversary and loved the whole time. Big beautiful rooms, king size bed and ensuite with massive spa bath, rumpus room with pool table and media screen. Giant chess board and short board walk along the river. My favourite was the surprise strawberries and dipping chocolate plus all the other many complimentary snacks. Cute breakfast trolley in the room with many options! Peaceful sleep with aircon, minimal noise, comfortable bed and many pillows to suit me! Thanks to Merryl and Phil
J. G.Bli bli house retreat has to be the most incredible, romantic place we have ever stayed. The attention to detail is second to none, with luxury that surpassed our expectations. This homestead is impeccable, and the ambience is just Devine. Our hosts were most friendly and I have never felt so welcome. Cleanliness was 11 out of 10, as was the silver service breakfast, which was amazing. (I highly recommend their signature ham and asparagus omelette/crepe!) We will definitely return, and if I could rate more stars I would.

J. P.Wow! What an amazing place to stay. Absolutely could not fault Bli Bli House at all and will definitely stay here again. Merryl is extremely lovely, helpful and sweet, but also let's you have your privacy. Loved the sweets that are everywhere, perfect for people with a sweet tooth like us. Breakfast was delicious every time. Immaculately clean and the surrounds are so nice. Anyone that is looking for a nice, unique getaway must stay here!

Attention to detail and consummate perfection overflow in a mix of old-world-regal and state-of-the-art contemporary facilities, culminating in its chef-prepared silver service breakfast of hatted restaurant-quality. Walking along the river boardwalk and looking back at the heritage building's external character complete an experience speaking of the 'something more' of this place. M.I absolutely love this place, took boyfriend here for his birthday and we both had an amazing time. The inside and outside is stunning, nicest place have ever stayed. The breakfast was fantastic, we were always so full after it. We cannot wait to come back here again soon. Definitely recommend for a romantic weekend away.

d. c.We are fortunate to have enjoyed B& Bs all round the world and Bli Bli House is as good as any we have experienced. The building has been beautifully constructed and the rooms are very good with a private verandah overlooking the river. The breakfasts, now served in room, were excellent with good varied choices. There are lots of little extras which all help to make a stay so enjoyable. Our package included a three course meal expertly cooked by Phil while Merryl supervises everything in a friendly yet efficient manner.
We do not often give five stars to a property but have no hesitation in rating Bli Bli House so highly. It is a gem!

S. P.This week I had the great pleasure of staying at Bli Bli house B&B while visiting the lovely Sunshine Coast. Bli Bli house would be by far the best B&B I have ever stayed in, it is truly 5 star! The furnishings are amazing, the bed was super comfortable and the rooms finely appointed. Waking up to the view from my veranda of a the tidal waterway was sublime. I was treated to a superb hot breakfast that was of master chef quality. The friendly hosts, Phil and Meryl, could not do enough to ensure that my stay was comfortable. I am looking forward to my next trip to the Sunshine Coast and to experience the hospitality, charm and comfort of Bli Bli House once again!
A. G.Bli Bli House is a wonderful place for a quiet retreat. It overlooks the river and is certainly a 5 star luxury boutique motel. You certainly get value for money, with the hosts going above and beyond expectations. The whole place reminds me of the Victorian period with 4 poster king beds, fire places, spa baths, private verandahs and elegant furnishings throughout. The food is amazing! There is exceptional service and well appointed guest rooms. Great for weddings as well as high teas. I would highly recommend this property.

R. H.Delicious food. Impeccable service. Gorgeous rooms and view. Everything you could want is provided, even a sweets cart, snacks in the room, fruit, and a full breakfast. They topped up the toiletries every day, had extra towels and blankets, and even had a toothbrush if you forgot yours. They've thought of everything. My only complaint is that the mattress in the regency suite was a little hard, and quite lumpy (but apparently others say it's comfortable, so you be the judge). I would stay here again if the mattress were replaced.
UPDATE: I had an issue, and the owners rectified it. Very professional.

J. M.I went to a formal dinner at Bli Bli House. It was an amazing time. The food was great and the historic house was very nice. It was like stepping backing in time to the Victorian period. The rooms are creatively decorated with 14 foot ceilings and fireplaces. Its a wonderful place to have a small function or a high tea in the formal dining room or stay at the Bed and Breakfast. The price is reasonable and great value for your money.

The service that Merryl offered to us during our stay was excellent and we did indeed feel very welcome. The food was delicious and there was endless choices of sweets and cakes to enjoy.

From the first enquiry, through-out all the planning, to multiple lovely cooked breakfasts and a warm goodbye the morning after the wedding, Phil & Merryl were highly genuine, world class hosts, who eagerly went above and beyond to help make our stay nothing less than perfect. But not stopping there, Phil & Merryl’s contribution to our actual wedding day was beyond measure. With Phil helping set up decorations and his impeccable food preparation and presentation, to Merryl ushering our guests and organising the very flustered bridal party right up to walking down the isle. Chris and I cannot find words thankful enough to show our gratitude towards such accommodating and generous and people.
As for the Bli Bli House itself, the rooms are the very picture of luxury and opulence. From the gorgeous bedroom suits, to the stunning entry and foyer, the stately formal dining room and the elegant gardens. The whole building exudes old world charm and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you step through the front door. Although, my husband and I both agree that Phil and Merryl are still the best asset Bli Bli house has to offer!

So secluded you'd drive right past it, and you most probably will drive right past it (as we did,Twice!), it's the perfect little get-away to escape from the stress and pressure of city life.
When booking your stay you can expect charming Victorian luxury, warm smiling hosts, comforting breakfasts, snack trolleys, to leave having lost a tonne of stress and having gained a bit of weight from all the chocolates.
the only "nit-picks" i would have is that the WiFi doesn't to reach the further rooms and the TV's could be bigger, but overall an indulgent experience.
I've stayed a few times and will definitely be back for more.
If your considering a stay, I will leave you with the most important note (which you will find out after your first stay anyway), Book multiple nights! because you wont want to leave.
