E. W.We were a family of 15 that had lunch a couple of days ago. We had an absolute ball! There were 5 kids in total and all were entertained with the outside play area and the adults could watch them in air conditioned comfort. The service was exceptional. Kyla our wait person was so patient with our large group and accommodated us so well! Our drinks were served promptly and coldly. Food was delicious and served in a a great timely manner.
We will return and look forward to experiencing the expansive menu.
J. M. (.This 300g rump was probably the best steak I've had for ages. Truly a medium rare steak, as ordered.
The veg (you can get salad if you prefer) was cooked perfectly (firm to the bite) and the sauce (pepper) is included.
If you're a member you get a discount as well.

N. J.Great restaurant service. Great menu, something for everyone. Kids playground a recent addition. Kids love it. Daily roast $9.95 w a drink. Large meals. Friendly environment, several dining and bar areas inside and out.
Pokies are kind, they pay enough to keep regulars coming back. Good management, they work the floor, serve meals, roll up their sleeves. Been going there for years, never had a dud meal or poor service. Rewards card too.
Give yourself a casual day out, eat good wholesome food, and no parking problems.

Awesome kids playground!
Kids bolognaise was generous and yummy. It came out too hot though so thing kids really wanted it and it took a while for us to cool it down. Others might appreciate the hot food.
Barramundi had way too much salt and pepper, tasted like salt and pepper squid, they really over did it which is a huge shame and the mash potato was so average as well. I don’t recommend that dish, rated lower because the Colmslie claims it is a Seafood restaurant.
I think we should have had the steak!

The restaurant is a simple menu and yet interesting. A chef has put some serious effort into this menu to cater for families, intimate couples plus it also caters those seeking to satisfy a more sophisticated palate.
The food absolutely delectable. House made sauces really stand out and lift the dishes.
Service is extremely friendly and helpful. Priced very affordably I have no hesitation in recommending the Colmslie.
There is also a very relaxed and inviting beer garden with huge sports TVs and a fun atmosphere in good old fashioned traditional pub style.
Well done. I'll be back soon.
M. R.We had such a lovely breakfast at the Colmslie Hotel this past weekend. It was the most relaxing breakfast we have had as we have two toddlers. They were able to play in the amazing play area that is fully fenced while we sat at our table enjoying a delicious breakfast and hot coffee with them in full view. We will definitely be back.

C.We had our first visit to the Colmslie Hotel this morning, what a great place to dine with kids. The staff are attentive & welcoming and the new fully fenced outdoor playground area is fantastic. The playground is the perfect height for toddlers to utilise aswell. They put on a lovely Father's Day Buffet Breakfast this morning, we'll definitely be back!

E. B.We booked a party of 7 for dinner on a Thursday night. This modern hotel complex can't be missed just off Wynnum Road, and is easily accessed by car or on foot. Onsite parking is adequate, with extra available at Coles supermarket next door.
All staff were friendly and professional, which made it a pleasant experience. We were given plenty of time to select our meals, with drinks orders taken up front.
The meals were restaurant quality and all came out together. Different cuts of steak were a favourite, but that is what "The Colmslie" is noted for.

One of the few places i have found with a Guiness on tap and bubbles by the glass.
The food was great and overall the experience was fantastic with a HUGE screen outdoors to watch sports and heaters to keep one warm scattered around the area.
Have to go back for another burger as i gobbled it up so quickly.
The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were super crispy and well seasoned.

Best bed I've ever slept in the materess and pillows are like clouds. Treated like a king, food is brilliant. Deffinately worth it!
C. P.I am immensely pleased to announce that the food at the colmslie has shown a marked improvement on my last two visits. They are now serving food that is simple with a slight twist but very well prepared and presented. Very happy and my compliments to the chef and his crew. Serving staff as always remain helpful, friendly and cheerful. You really can feel welcome here. When errors are made (and let's face it, we all make them from time to time) they are handled very professionally indeed and with the highest regard for the customer experience.

Staff are very friendly and attentive and the food was great.
For some reason the chef on service at the day loved shouting the orders out load and even chat to other in the same volume which was quite unprofessional IMO and pretty unsettling if you ask me if sitting in any of tables close to the kitchen.
P. T.Food was good enough for pub grub but quite expensive. I had calamari rings and chicken parmie, my wife had a six chicken wings and grilled salmon dish, plus we shared a bowl of kumera fries and each had a soft drink. Bill was over $100. Service was slow at first but got there in the end. Everything was served hot and the meals were OK but I don't think I'd go there again. Other options in the neighbourhood for better value.

From the time we arrived to discover you had taken the trouble to set up a Christmas tree and the dining Table for Christmas , to the wonderful way in which you Scott and Beth took such great care of us all to the brilliant food it was simply perfect and my team have described it as our best ever Christmas party and I have to agree.
Perfect venue , warm welcoming staff, fantastic private room and brilliant food ! For mine it doesn’t get any better than that so please accept my sincere thanks to you all.
T. B.We were greeted at the front door with a smile and moved to our reserved table straight away. Our drinks were ordered and brought to us nice and quick, food was ordered not long after that. I ordered the beef and guinness pie and damn it was loaded, tasted great! Service was good.

G.Popped into the colmslie hotel for lunch. Their were plenty of Christmas parties going on but the service was quick and attentive. I had the choice of sitting inside where they serve the carvery or in the outside beer garden.
Went for a club sandwich. It was really tasty with plenty of chicken and avo will have again along with a cold beer.

W. M.Have been here a number of times now but not for a while. Pub has been done up nicely and is popular. The bar area food used to be pretty good, still ok in terms of value providing you are a red meat eater from the buffet . The fish or chicken options appear to have gone from the buffet, at least when I was there. Had to order the $25 seafood basket, which I didn't think was particularly good value, size vs price. The service could have been a little more friendly. There appeared to be a no smiling policy in place.

M. S.The beer garden is my favorite spot to eat or drink and is dog friendly so can bring my fur baby too. Great atmosphere and music. Food is always delicious, same with the cocktails
L. N.The hotel had a make over, the band Murphy s Pigs was terrific, as usual, but the patrons were SO noisy it was very difficult to hear and understand the words the band was singing. The band was moved to another spot, from last time I was there. Next time I will NOT sit near the bar. Patrons so rude to talk while the concert was in progress.

Would get 5 stars from me except that sometimes the line music on a Saturday is a bit too loud where they have it set up inside - but the live music itself is a good touch. Indoor and outdoor areas, pool area, good for groups.

C.Food was pretty good. Standard pub fare but done really well. The boys were surprised to see half a bug (seafood not insect!) atop their seafood paella! The garlic bread was amazing, super cheesy. The tall waiter with the full beard and side parted hair was suuuper lovely and really accommodated our group. He went out of his way to make sure we were looked after even when people were being inattentive and annoying.

d. k.On the day we were there the roast beef was amazing. The managers were amazing but the staff had some work to do.
D. R.These guys run a $10.45 roast daily I think it is, and my god is it the best value good food around, you possibly couldn’t cook it yourself for much less. The girl chef who makes the meatballs is an absolute champ, always great sized servings and with a friendly smile.
There is absolutely no excuse for eating cheap junk food when you can get meals like that at these prices, 5-stars all day long.

L. P.Wonderful service and food at the roast station for lunch. They made a little plate for my little girl for no extra cost and you can have some of all of the hot food options which was lovely so I had the pork and some gnocchi!
M. D.We attended a private sporting club function upstairs in the private rooms. The bar in the room was probably too small and only had the 4 basic beers on tap. So this meant the line up was frequently quite long. However, the beer was cold, the staff great , the nibblies tasty and the toilets were close.

I. B.I must admit I was impressed. Arrived for a seminar/wshop entered through the wrong entry door (:÷) and was very attentive guided to my destiation. Food had so far 2 meals, excellent. . Meals were were great... really enjoyed. And what I really, really loved they do not insult by serving chlorinated water. Filtered water yeahhh. I like a glass of water of good quality thank you. B. L. V.The smoker’s area really drags this wonderful pub down, it is uncomfortable to even sit inside! The full length of the building is open windows and is taken entirely up by the smokers area along the landing (1 – 2 meters in front of the open doors). The doors are always open which should be great, except that the smoke blows directly inside. The smoker’s area runs the entire building length of open windows, that’s a lot of open windows and a lot of space for the smokers to spread out. If you are a non-smoker you can’t sit outside in the fabulous beer garden, as you have to walk from the doors, past the long line of smokers to sit in front of them. Or sit in the small non-smoking area but that is in-between the smokers and a wall! You just can’t escape the second-hand smoke at anywhere, at any time of day!
The Staff and the food are excellent – and it is a real shame that the smoking area is so large and runs all the way along the open windows. We are locals, love this pub, we sit inside and just can’t stay any longer than an hour because of the second hand smoke. If they did something to address issue this it really would be an awesome pub for ….everyone, not just the smokers.
C. Z.Although the food was delicious, the service was only passable due mainly to one person. We were seated near the toilets even though the dining room was not full; we had to wait ages for our food order to be taken and then wait some more for it to be served; drinks were not what were expected, I ordered a white wine spritzer (chardonnay) with soda water and it came out tasting sweet. I am no connoisseur of wines but chardonnay is not sweet and neither is soda water. I was a bit disappointed as this was a birthday lunch for me.
