The park is very clean, activities for the kids are great. The pool and waterpark was great. Ping pong and camp kitchen are great. Card facilities in the laundry was a great touch too! Staff are friendly and it very enjoyable. Will happily return.

The pool is clean, tidy and fun for the kids and the deck chairs with cushions and shade are great for me to relax while I watch them.
The kids activities have be fun and the kids have loved them.
The park is grounds are clean as are the toilets and showers.
We will definitely book again.

F. H.Large park with so many facilities for kids, from water park, water slide, jumping pillow, tennis court, basketball court, bmx track, as well as organised activities eg kids disco. Grounds are well maintained, we stayed in unpowered site near the lake with a nice bush setting. The sites are very close together and no privacy, however it was a peak long weekend when we visited. Amenities modern, and maintained. Apart from being messaged from the park about a Pizza night, that did not happen, and boom gates (for security) out of action, our stay was enjoyed.
T. x.My partner and I camped here on 20th of September 2021, we booked for two nights at an unpowered sight. The sights are very close to each other and there is a lot people in close proximity. There was a person who arrived at 8:30pm at night while others were trying to sleep and he sit up his camp site, the noise carried through till 11:30pm at night as he had a metal trailer that he kept on banging items onto it and slamming his car door open and shut. The receptionist was lovely, it was just a shame how close the camp sites are near each other as I have camped in a lot of places around QLD and have never experienced having four camp sites around me with less 3metres each side.

R. T.Stayed for 2 nights in a cabin and it was great. The cabin was spacious and very roomy with everything that you need for cooking meals and clean. The family was very comfortable in the cabin. Awesome place to go and get away with family and still have everything close enough around to get things if you need it. Amazing friendly staff and the whole environment of the park is fantastic. We will be returning in the near future to enjoy the whole park again and unwind in the relaxing environment and to go on the water slides👍. Highly recommend this place to anyone with a family and that who likes to be able to walk down and throw a line in the water.

Plenty to do with an awesome pool/water park, jumping pillow, half basketball court, tennis court, walking tracks, bmx track and a large lake to put a boat in to fish or ski on. Clean park with friendly staff.
L. C.It is my home and we have helpfull staff if we require any help. We have a tennis court and a swimming pool and we do not have to clean them. Spoilt...I would say! Add also a lake to kayak and the sea across the road..again spoilt! If that was not enough we have Bluff Point 5mins down the road ( Large hill on the sea front with magnificent views of all the Islands) The view from the walking track encompassing Great Keppel and National Park islands that allows camping just makes my home truly adventurous and the pull to kayak and camp is culpable. Can you imagine anything better!!!
S. H.The pool & water park is awesome & lots of fun however it is a bit run down & rusty in certain spots. I cut my elbow going down one of the slides so be careful! The cabin we stayed in was ok. The kids bedroom was way too hot to sleep in. There was no ceiling fan & the aircon didn't travel into that room. The floor was sticky & there were ants all over the kitchen bench regularly (and no we didn't leave food out). There were pieces of wood laying around the cabin with sharp nails poking out which was concerning noting we had a toddler walking around. But despite this we still enjoyed our stay. We would visit again but request another room next time.

M.Friendly staff, has everything you need including big water park and small bmx track for the kids. Usual communal areas like kitchen, laundry, showers, bbqs etc. Can get busy. Ammenities are clean and tidy. Beautiful water next to the park and just across is the beach.

M.I had very low expectations of this particular accommodation, I was staying with a large group in a dorm room and had previously read low-rating reviews saying that mattresses were "spider infested and as hard as rock" but I was pleasantly surprised. The beds are of decent quality, nothing amazing but acceptable and the facilities are very clean and well kept. The provided catering is of a high standard and overall has been an enjoyable and pleasant experience.
A. F.Was lovely before Discovery Parks took it over but didn't appreciate the huge hike in price over the public holiday weekend. We won't do that again (it was a group weekend. We will choose a different venue next year)
Our luxury cabin had a lovely selection of children's beads at the base of the Louvre window. Wonder how long they had been there?
No power in bunk room, nor fan or AC.
Responded quickly and well to our request for a long extension lead though.

We stayed at a nonpwered site with heaps of room right opposite the Causeway Lake. Only negative is where our site was it was very sandy and had to be careful that you didn't get bogged.

D. C.This Water Park, is well located, and is well looked after. I go down once a year with a group and we all enjoy the stay. They have a wide accommodation options, including small rooms, right through to large family stays, and also including permanent residents and camping sites.
The water park itself is well looked after as well, providing a longer, slower ride, or a faster, shorter ride, they also provide kids Water park and a semi large pool.
Overall this Water Park is a very good holiday or Weekend option.

G.Great place to stay with the family, good sized water park with a lake nearby for more water sports, ping pong and pool table till 5pm with plenty of BBQ's and a really nice park near a jumping pillow where you can just sit and relax under the beautiful pine trees. Tennis court and best of all a basketball half court. Really good place, wish we could have stayed longer.
S. B.Just had an 8 night stay here over the new year period. Overall really happy with the park, loads for the kids to do, pool, waterpark, bike track and bouncy pillow. We stayed on an unpowered site which was a great space and close the the bouncy pillow and bike track. The park is also right next to the causeway so ideal for keen fishermen, people with boats, jetskis and kayaks. The park is about 10 mins from yeppoon itself. There is a new shower block near the unpowered site and considering it was peak season we never had to queue to use showers or toilets. They were always clean and well stocked.
The only recommendation i have is they could have organised something on new years eve, maybe a kids disco and a bbq for holidaymakers to attend. Appreciate 10pm curfew and the event could have ended at 9/10pm

More showers/ toilets would be beneficial. Petty that kids activities are hardly not there or organized with very little interest from the management.

C. v. A.Good central lcation for day trips. One of the ammenities need a bit of an update. Might have just me but I felt it was a bit noisy.
The neighbors on site 32 insisted in letting the enitre park know what they were up to as if they were the only ones in the park.
No sure about the sullage arrangements, couldn't find anywhere to drop in the hose. Walking around noticed that some site did and some sites didn't have a sullage pit.
t. d.We had a lovely stay at this park! Very, very courteous and friendly staff, we were asked which site we'd like and he even came and cleaned it with a leaf blower for us :) the amenities are nice and clean, the pool is great. Absolutely satisfied!

We were a group of 20 no music was playing a few laughs the kids were quiet the loudest thing that happened was the singing of happy birthday a sad finish to a great afternoon.

B. M.Before I had arrived here, I saw reviews that said that the dorm rooms are unclean and infested with spiders. Although this isn’t true, the mattresses provided in the dorm rooms are thin and you won’t be waking up without an ache. However, all other amenities are good and the grounds seem to be in good shape.
K. S.We are repeat guests at Coolwaters and this time have found the staff to be a unlittle reasonable on rules and not that friendly. We have little kids in our group and have been told they cannot have floaties ("inflatables of any type") to help them at the bottom of the slide and those sorts of things. In such hot weather we all wish there was some shade over the big pool and the opening hours were extended, even if just for Summer months or peak periods. The facilities and amenities have been up to standard as always, overall we love staying at Coolwaters but this stay has put a little doubt in our minds for choosing our next holiday.
D. B.The best caravan park. Very spacious sites, 3 open fire pits. The staff are fantastic, heaps of activities for the kids, set across the road from the beach and right beside a lake. You can't go wrong.

They were only going to visit for a few hours and the $75 fee meant they couldn't come. We spoke to other tenants in the park and they shared our disappointment as they had had similar experiences.

J.Location and park facilities are great, but the room we stayed in had a leaking shower, missing louvres, broken stove, fridge had broken and missing shelves, and the unit wasn't secure as there was no key to lock the back doors. It was mostly clean, except for one room which hadn't looked like it was opened in six months.

N. S.(Translated) We spent one night at the campsite with the camper. The pool and all the slides were great. There are two large slides, and a water playground with smaller slides. The staff was very nice and the whole outdoor area very well maintained. Too bad we found that you can use the slides until 17 o'clock. Since we arrived only 16:30 clock, we did not have much of it. The separate, beautiful pool you can use until 21 clock. Disappointed we were from the sanitary facilities, which were old and dirty. Since they are open doors, you share the bathroom with many moths, grasshoppers, mosquitoes and geckos. The kitchen was very functional. Only two hotplates and a sink are insufficient for both the size of the park.

Wir haben mit dem Camper eine Nacht auf dem Campingplatz verbracht. Der Pool und all die Rutschen waren super. Es gibt zwei große Rutschen, und einen Wasserspielplatz mit kleineren Rutschen. Das Personal war sehr nett und die gesamte Außenanlage sehr gepflegt. Schade fanden wir, dass man die Rutschen nur bis 17 Uhr nutzen kann. Da wir erst 16:30 Uhr ankamen, hatten wir nicht viel davon. Den separaten, schönen Pool darf man bis 21 Uhr nutzen. Enttäuscht waren wir von den sanitären Anlagen, welche alt und schmutzig waren. Da sie Türen offen stehen, teilt man sich das Bad mit vielen Motten, Heuschrecken, Mücken und Geckos. Auch die Küche war sehr zweckmäßig. Nur zwei Kochplatten und eine Spüle sind für beide die Größe des Parks nicht ausreichend.
