I visited The Garden at EH, beautiful lush well looked after plants everywhere. No live music this time but still a great atmosphere. We only went for drinks, great prices. Friendly staff with a smile. Kids play area was amazing. Catering for all ages. Great visual for parents and kids. Definitely 5 stars

Food is always really tasty, decent selection to choose from on the menu. We were able to order the food on our phones through the app which is quick and easy. Friendly service. Although it was busy the food still came out at a reasonable time. With the parmigiana recommend to get the sauce on the side that way you can pour as much as you like on it.

Went to Eaton's Hill Hotel bistro for dinner, staff were fantastic. Good variety on the menu with very generous portions at reasonable pub prices. The cocktails available at the main bar were superb and at such a good price. I also had the pleasure of staying at the hotel over night in a king room which was beautiful. The bedding was soft, the room was super clean and the bathroom was gorgeous and huge. The only negative I can give is the in room provision of tea and coffee was first hard to find and then the coffee was terrible even for an instant coffee.

Absolutely amazing & beautiful venue, lots of space. Gorgeous interior, lots of corners to relax in. Only downfall is the food, not the best quality had a kid's steak & steak sandwich was very tough & chewy. Apart from that, lovely pub with a great smoker's area!

They are pretty great with great choices of food, great place for kids to be entertained in the indoor play area and a great atmosphere. Really love it. They also have heaps of concerts being held here. Kinda cool. But the staff member taking the orders for food is so grumpy. I wish it was the first time, but unfortunately everytime I have been here and had to order from the bald guy at the counter he has been either rude, grumpy or both. Sometimes we decide not to attend because we don't want to see that.

Very friendly staff at reception, excellent service and very empathetic to our situation when the event we were attending was cancelled at short notice. Book directly through Eaton's Hill Hotel. Unfortunately we made the mistake of booking through booking.com which, unbeknownst to us, booked through agoda - both booking companies were utterly useless and terms of purchasing were deliberately misleading. In contrast Eatons Hill staff were very helpful and transparent. Room and hotel was much better than expected, very comfortable bed and great facilities.

Stayed in a room with a nice king sized bed and with a cool stone bathroom. Unfortunately my partner got food poisoning from the prawns so we were stuck in the apartment. Receptionists were very polite and helpful. The TV in the room was a pain to use, it also had the Netflix app but the interface never loaded. It's good for a quick-stay.

Went to watch a band at the hotel on a Friday night. Venue is always good to visit. One big problem though is the lack of bar staff. Lined up for over an hour to get a drink. Come on guys the punters deserve better than this.This hotel led the way with complaints during the lockdowns . How about providing better bar service

Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Everyone I was with enjoyed their meals. However I found my 5 cheese pizza disappointing. The crust was thick and soggy. So my recommendation is to steer clear of the pizzas.

Great atmosphere. But unfortunately, the worst cooked steaks we’ve ever had. The staff did try to fix the issue, but the steaks that came back out were still chewy and dry. Definitely not medium. The pork special was beautiful though.

Beautiful location, with one big let down being a local I come here regularly.... and regularly the front counter staff always do there best show you they are not interested in making the experience pleasant .. eye contact with a pleasant manner would go a long way. To be honest the service is better at the mcdonalds front counter.. But the kitchen staff that take the orders are always great ... Food is pretty good ...fit out looks great. . Bar staff are good... killer place for the suburbs . Please work on this guys ..

What a fabulous lunch venue. I had the beef cheeks and it was fall apart deliciousness. The *only* problem was that it was so huge and I couldn't finish it. Partner had the fettuccini, and it was also wonderful. The serving, so generous, that he couldn't finish it either. Staff were ever so friendly. Had a great afternoon. Thank you. Totally recommend

My husband and I stayed here for our 13th wedding anniversary on the 23/11/2021 and we will definitely be staying here again. The service was above and beyond, Ashwin the manager on the night we stayed was one of the kindest most helpful person we have come across in a very long time, cannot fault anything at all, the room was beautiful, room service was very fast, pool was the perfect temperature.. thank you to all the staff that made our anniversary that much more special.

Lunch here and was a great experience. Service was lovely, food was quickly served, presented well and was tasty. It had a good atmosphere with music playing at just the right level to not be over powering. The venue itself is beautiful. The woodwork throughout is timeless. I noticed a rooftop bar, but didn't go up. There is a change table in the ladies restroom, which was great for changing my 6 month old. The kids play area looks amazing and clean, I can't wait to go back with my husband and our 3 year old.

More than a hotel, this place is a destination in itself! Bars, restaurants, function rooms and entertainment spaces everywhere. Went there for a function and ended up staying for dinner. Good menu, well priced. Food was excellent and staff are friendly 🙂

My daughter has sensory issues. We asked to be moved to a quieter table, noting the booths were free. The server was very kind, found one was available and moved us saying she could also turn down the music if we needed. We were very touched. Food is always great but this time, 5 stars for service.

Second time I've attended a function here and have been well impressed both times. Functio s are also kept separate from their daily bars/pubs which I think there's 2 or maybe 3. Great atmosphere, fantastical vibes. Haven't tried the food yet though

Lots of hits and not a lot misses to mention. Firstly, the interior has a very cozy laid back atmosphere with everything to cater for every customer. My kids totally enjoyed the play area, on this visit we managed to get the State of origin on the TV for the adults. Staff are friendly and attentive with kitchen looking organised. Though this is my 2nd visit, I certainly enjoyed myself again. The food is great especially the steak and the salads.But you may need to dig a little deeper in the pocket for your family dinner. Food: Unfortunately the seafood risotto was a miss, but everything else was fantastic. Make sure you book ahead, it does seem busy on the weekends! If you've got kids and want a relaxing dinner/experience, make sure you visit the EH.

Dinner was great, the only flaw was that you had to walk to the back bar for cocktails and then wait for them to be made, it would be more efficient to order the cocktails at the bar and have them delivered. Our meal was nearly cold, just was well I had eye fillet, that remained tender.

I attended the Cancer research long morning high tea event. The food was 3/5. Service was 2/5. I'm not sure if the staff were permanent or casual but definitely inexperienced and rough as guts. Overall experience was not great and would not recommend. I have been to this venue a few times now attending different events and it just strikes me as a pub only and not a hotel if this is what they're pitching for. 3* is generous.

This is one of my favourite hotels, I try to stay here for any work trips around the northern end of Brisbane. The rooms are clean modern and very comfortable. The location is next to a variety of restaurants, supermarket and also The Eatons Hill Tavern. Most notably the service is always a standard out. Highly recommended

Lovely place very nice atmosphere, staff are efficient and lovely but went for my partners birthday for dinner and we ordered the sandcrab lasagne which was very heavily advertised out the front of the hotel and it tasted like a frozen lasagne from a supermarket that was drowned in what they called broth but tastes like canned tomato soup. $33 each for one square of lasagne with nothing else. It was overpriced, tasteless and very disappointing. Not sure if I'd eat there again.

Our daughter has been staying at the Eatons Hill Hotel accomodation for many months. We seriously have been so impressed with the professionalism, friendliness and high quality accomodation at this hotel. The beds are so comfortable, the pillows amazing, the hotel clean and well looked after and the staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much for this hotel. They go above and beyond the call of duty and care so much about each guest and their experience. Even down to hosting our daughters 21st and making sure this was a memorable experience for her. If anyone is looking for wonderful accomodation and also a venue for a party or work event, they do an amazing job here. We have a list of favourite staff of course but can’t thank the owners and General Manager Murray enough for their understanding and support during our daughters time in the hotel. If you're looking for first class accommodation this is the place. Have stayed here a couple of times now in both the king room and corner suite. The rooms are amazing, very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful staff who are so friendly, polite, helpful and accommodating. The meals from the pub are delicious and very generous. Every item from the menu we've tried we loved. The best chicken parmi my wife and I have ever had! Definitely our go to motel when in Brisbane, everything you need is here including its own small shopping centre. Security parking lot is a real bonus too. Highly recommended.

We hired the 'Lounge' for a function. Great service due to COVID-19 restrictions with our own table set up for hot drinks & platters. We were served by a friendly, dedicated staff member throughout our time there. The platters were well presented & delicious. Would definetly recommend this.

Areas to improve: -There is no entry sign to the restaurant/bistro but there is for gaming and beer garden?? -some staff need an attitude adjustment, especially behind the bar on sunday 7th in the restaurant. -images of scantily clad women is an interesting juxtaposition to Brisbane's best kids play ground on the adjacent monitors.

Really great hotel. Staff were amazing. Very attentive, welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a great location. Right next to a supermarket, a couple of cafes, massage and hair salon, liquor store and restaurant. Plenty of parking and very easy to access. Hotel facilities were fantastic. The pool and gym are great and there is a guest laundry. Room was really lovely, only complaint was that it was quite dusty. Would also love to see more veg options on the menu. On a side note, they do host rodeos there. So anyone sensitive to animal rights might want to check the timing of their stay against current events. But otherwise, would highly recommend!

Went to the EH for lunch and had a steak burger that was very tasty. Only criticism is that there is no specific lunch menu which prices all meals at the higher rate. Most meals were well above $30 which is very costly for lunch.

I was at a private function here last Saturday night. The room was great and the food and staff were fantastic. I had just one issue when I was walking my daughter's out so they could go home, when a security guard grabbed me because I had dress shorts on. I don't mind being asked why I was in shorts at a private function. But I don't appreciate being grabbed when I was doing nothing but walking my daughter's out of the busy upstairs area. I understand that there is a dress code for upstairs out in the public area. But for someone who doesn't consume alcohol and to be grabbed by security guard was a shock.

I came here with a large group of 18 people and we were seated right on our booking time. Although we have to order at the counter, the gentleman who served me was super helpful with advice and alterations for my vegan diet. I got the avocado and pumpkin salad and added edamame beans. The salad was super fresh and full of flavour - the only downside is that it was tossed in quite a lot of oil which ruined it a bit for me. The side of green veg was such a large portion - awesome bang for buck. Everyone else at my table thoroughly enjoyed their meals too. Shoutouts were for the salmon an the lamb! I will definitely be back to try the other vegan menu items. Thanks for such great and fast service EH team!

This is only about the restaurant part. The food is always good, the steaks are excellent. There are only limited vegetarian options, if that is an issue (1 main, 1 salad, various breads). It's a large complex, so can get a bit noisy.

I got a room here for my parents visiting from out of town and they couldn't have been happier with the room and service. The room was modern, clean and well laid out. The staff were all so helpful and the check in process was smooth and quick. Will happily book this hotel again next time they come down.

First back to just have drinks at this place. It was okay, the only thing I don't get is they prohibit people from dancing (this is not even wild dancing) from where they're seated. A lady got kicked out just because of that last night. You are only allowed to dance in the dance floor (limited to only 50 on a very small space) where clearly that for me was worse as there wasn't any social distancing at all.

Visited Eatons Hills only for dinner and drinks not an event. The hotel is overwhelming huge with a bistro serving gourmet pizzas, a large hotel complex and a stylish beer garden. The restaurant has a children’s playground filled with slides, play equipment and video games. We got there and no direction where to check in. We had not been here before so was unsure of were to check in. After waiting in the “food “ line we realised that we where in the wrong line. When seated at our table we had to ask for a high chair even though when I booked I let them know I had a toddler. After getting the high chair it was visibly soiled with the last child’s breakfast. I had to find another one that was just as solid as the last high chair I then had to clean myself. After being there for more than 40mins we received our fruit and pastries. Overall I guess you get what you pay for and the food was very average.

Before Covid19 this was our local. We haven't been here for a while. I ordered the Chicken Caesar salad and was unpleasantly surprised. The chicken was dry, the salad underdressed and the egg not runny. A poor lazy attempt at a Caesar. Basically a bowl of lettuce, a boiled egg and overcooked chicken and bacon. $22 of very little. I hope they'll do better next time.

We've eaten at the Eatons Hill Tavern ever since it opened. After a break from going out during Covid19, we went back tonight for our anniversary. It was disappointing to find the food standard has dropped significantly. My husband saw the chef put chips from a plated meal back into the main chip basket after a waiter brought it to him saying the customer hadn't ordered chips with their meal. I ordered the Salmon main, which was fine except for the potato and garlic mash had such an overwhelming raw garlic flavor it was not pleasant to eat and lingered long after having had dessert, and hours later after I'd gone home and tried to get rid of the taste by brushing my teeth and using mouthwash. Not the good standard we were used to from the EH. Hopefully it was just a trainee?

Stayed here a few times. It is very convenient when a concert is on but it's a little pricey for the room you get. The pub is great with good food. I wanted to stay again in May for a show that is on but they have put the accommodation prices up by 50% just for that one night that it's on, the rest of the month is normal price. They have never done that for previous shows we have seen there (at least 3). Supply and demand I guess but 50% is bloody steep. It's pushed it over the limit I will pay for a shoebox room. Staying down the road instead for 1/3 of the price. Even getting Uber/taxis there puts me well in front.

The pub is modern, well stocked and with many places to sit (garden, bars, quieter areas etc.) The venue is good for rock acts (I've seen five or more here) as the sound is typically tight and nicely audible from all areas. The drink prices in the venue are incredibly high, with mid strength beer at $8 per can and full strength at $9 - there was only one choice of each, too. While the pub and venue are great, the location is not. 25 minutes from the city (at night) is a problem at midnight when the venue has closed, and travel options back to the city are as expensive as the beers.

The review is just about the ballroom as I came here to watch a gig... Have to say I did not know what to expect as it blew my mind a German hardcore band was playing this venue What I found though was it was amazing! Parking was a breeze, the security were a pure joy to chat too, they were so helpful it was untrue. Total credit to the venue. The venue itself was good, strange to be stood on carpet to watch a band but again all added to the night. Drinks were reasonable and access to outside was easily which helped to cool down. Never hit the loos but there was no queues. Sound was good and even being near the back of the room I was still pretty close to the front! Will be coming back for sure!

I wished they had a room free to just crash in in the end. It seemed like a nice place.

Depends what you want - dining, drinking, live music, dancing, poker machines, family birthdays - this place tries to cater for all ages and occasions. It's a big place and sometimes these different areas might cross over. With that in mind, we were there for a 70th birthday, on a Saturday night, probably their busiest of the week, but the service was great, food was quite good and quickly served. They catered for us "above and beyond" by placing our last minute, 15 person booking in a secluded area behind the bar, even had our "own" TV televising the football for us. Kids had their own play room also, so they were happy. All in all a pretty good experience.

The establishment and rooms were excellent, however my lower then usual rating is due the room bond and charges. We stayed 1 night! This is the first establishment that charged us the bond and room fare when we first arrived, which is fine, however when we checked out they took an additional room rate. In figures $189 + $100 bond =$289. On check out they took another $189, we now are at $478. It took 3 days for the original $289 to return to my account. This is very poor organisation, but it is the hotels policy. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone that is budgeting. Personally I plan my trips around a budget, this took me by surprise and put a huge damper on our trip. I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

Next door is the pub of same name with all the gaming and bars plus bistro. The hotel has a very good standard restaurant too. Add to this you have a Woolies next door and a variety of cafes and shops.

Bartenders could do with training on how to serve those waiting for 25 minutes on multiple occasions for water before serving those waiting 2 mins for alcohol. It's not nice being dehydrated. As for functions, this is one of the best venues in the area. Well equipped and well designed/decorated. New hotel wing and shopping facilities add a lot to the area. Pricing is reasonable for what you get.

I came here with a group of friends for a night out. There was plenty of places to go depending on whether we wanted to just relax and listen to some music in the beer garden or have a bit of a dance inside. It was nice to have that variety. Drinks weren't too pricey which is also a bonus. The food was okay, not amazing but i wasn't expecting a lot from a pub/tavern.

Eaton's Hill Hotel is a modern venue with a great indoor and outdoor setting with multiple bars offering drinks at a reasonable price. I highly recommend stopping off here before attending a concert as it is a great spot to relax and chill out. The outdoor stage is excellent offering a great view no matter where you stand, having seen 2 shows here, I can't wait to go back.

The seafood risotto was divine, calamari was tender, shrimp not over cooked and a couple small nicely cooked scallops. It was creamy and the greens were perfect in it to help off at the fats from the cheese. The bone in fillet ribeye steak was also perfectly cooked medium rare as ordered and the sides were also a nice accompaniment.

Went for Sunday lunch with another family and their kids, and we were well looked after. It's better if you book on the weekend because the bistro is very popular with families. Just tell them you have prams and they will do what they can to accommodate you comfortably. The meals are huge. I had the ribs combo, and I think I'll just have the pork ribs plate next time. So succulent and well braised were the pork ribs. I find the coleslaw a bit "Betty Crockett's" (overdressed) so you can just ask them for a green salad with the meal, and hold the coleslaw.

I had heard a lot of bad reviews about the place but had always heard the way they talked up their food so i decided to go and eat there one day. When i got there it was really confusing when trying to find where you can eat and where you can order and what menu there is at the time of day. That a lone almost made me leave as it frustrated me so much. I waited for about 3-4 mins before a staff member acknowledged my group and I considering the fact they made eye contact before that but would just rush away before I would have the chance to ask 'can i see a menu'. The food across group was described as being very flavourless or everything tasted the same and to be honest it really did, I had a slice of pizza and had my steak and the pizza and the steak tasted exactly the same. The good thing though was that serving size could almost justify the price but because the flavour is not there it really wasn't worth it. Inside had a strange atmosphere of something that is trying to be a night club, a bar, a pub, a dive bar, a cafe and a restaurant it just felt overly weird and uncomfortable also there was live music but on a slightly larger and louder scale and the singer was good only problem though it's not really what i want to here when I'm trying to relax and talk to friends. Overall it's not the place you would go with a small group especially if you are looking for something casual. If you need a nightspot that's out of town though it probably is a good place though i hear they have strict rules.

Ordered the steak there twice. First time I ordered it medium rare & it was overdone. The second time I ordered it rare & it came out blue. Was there for a concert both times so it's not like I had the time to sit around waiting for them to get it right. It's not that hard to cook a steak right the first time especially if it's supposed to be your job, it's easier than boiling an egg. If you can't cook it the way a customer orders it the first time don't bother cooking it at all. A hint if you decide to eat here, don't get the steak.

It was raining, & too far to walk home so camped the night upstairs. There were a few confusions with trying to book online so we had to book & pay at the counter but staff was very calm & sweet. Lights were so dark in the level hehehe felt kinda like a CSI scene was being filmed! Room was dimly lit, nothing too bright. Bed wasn't too soft or too firm. Pillows were all too big & hard for me so I rolled up the quilt as a pillow. Shower temp was nice but didn't really have any pressure. I didn't mind, but I know some people like to feel the drops almost peirce their skin ROFL The shampoos & body wash soaps were gorgeous! Beautiful full length glass walls on the north wall, so there was a lovely view of an open field, I'm guessing of the driving range, just all misty & fogged over. For one night it was a bit costly but I felt like I could stay there all week!
