I. G.Our room was clean tidy and comfortable although quite small. It was well accommodating with air con, TV, fridge and wifi. The front desk were very helpful throughout our stay. Finding street parking was a little difficult (parking at the hotel is an extra $28 per day) and I hoped to use the guest laundry but you needed to supply your own laundry detergent which I didn't have (washer and dryer are coin/card operated and $4 or so each) but we enjoyed our stay.
P. M.Very fast and efficient staff and surprisingly nice hotel. For short stays it’s wonderful. Rooms are basic size. Rare to have a nice big TV screen and bed for the price. I arrived early and the room was ready 👍😊

R. M.It’s a nice hotel to stay in. Fairly expensive for what you get but the staff are nice. It’s got the basics, without pool. Two elevators which are quick and efficient. Total 8 floors and very accessible to the CBD. For a short stay of a night or two it’s worth a look.

T.Not the place I thought I’d booked so had no idea what to expect and yet it turned out to be an awesome find. Close to Roma St parklands and train station the reception area is clean and modern. The lift accessed by security card takes you to up to 8 levels and we were on level 2. Each corridor from the lift has its own security access door so no noise from the main thoroughfare. Our room was great! Clean; modern decor and fittings; comfortable bed; large tv complete with Fox; adjustable mood lighting; rain head shower and all regular extras like tea, coffee, shampoo etc and bonus travel hand sanitizer which I thought was a nice touch as well as bottled water. The room was standard size and outlook from window was to other buildings so maybe not a long holiday destination but a cheeky weekend in town- perfect! I’d give it 10/10
A. C.Very central, and very kind courteous staff. Rooms and bed are very small, but clean, and comfortable, would stay here again.
A. I.It was clean, tidy and the staff member was decent. Only $10.00 for each hour of overstay (I have trouble waking up early, so this is super important to me) and while a little small, still had enough room to lie down on the carpet, if I wished.
I found a cockroach in the room, however, so...that wasn't too fun. And gross. I was also wondering where this so-called breakfast service was?
Why do have to go out of my way to find it? I guess I didn't ask anyone, but if it's advertised on the site... I'd assume I could walk in and see it as is? It wasn't the harder place to find but also not the easiest for me.
D. I.Minimalist room with the comfiest bed with multiple pillows and sheets that I've ever experienced in a hotel room. Massive television. Cold split system aircon. Very comfortable!!

M. B.Rooms are small but clean and well maintained. The aircon was also very effective, something a lot of hotels get wrong. The hot water takes a long time to get hot but once it does it could melt paint from the walls, you have been warned. Team was very friendly and patient. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Also some good breakfast options very close.
N. W.Check in to check out, was smooth, no hassle with very friendly and helpful staff. Courtesy call after we got to our room to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed was a nice touch.
Room was on small side but everything was very clean, tidy and fresh.
Big Terrace made a huge difference and was great to sit back and chill.
51st Street restaurant and bar is directly beneath the hotel so really convenient for food and drink. Groceries and Bottle Shop opposite hotel and Queen Street Mall and King George Square are within a few minutes walk, so everything you need is on hand!

R.Stayed here for the last 4 weekends and will continue to, Michael has went above and beyond to make our stay excellent everytime, we had issues connecting to the TV and he has made sure its fixed or offered us another way to make sure we are happy. Not too bothered about the WiFi issues when the service has been this good. Would recommend to anyone!! Also the terrace rooms are perfect for smokers or people who want somewhere outside to relax
G. E.Nice room and great for the money. The parking garage was terrible and if you own a lifted 4x4 you will not fit. They really should say that on the web site or at least let you know when you are booking.
K. F.Very small room, very noisy neighbours, 6:20am sunday out on thier balcony talking loudly, swearing, was feral (not the Hotels fault). Friendly front desk and big tv with sport was good. No view at all from balcony. I got what I paid for I guess. Noisy like humming sound coming from outside. The hotel is in a good location and I would rather pay a bit more for a better room. Room seemed clean.
S. S.Located conveniently in the heart of the city. Friendly & helpful staff, 24hr security on site. Lovely clean modern rooms with huge TVs. Very much enjoyed my stay there. Suggestions: Their WiFi isn't secured, no common area available eg, for smoking etc. and no kitchen facilities. Only one microwave. Rooms are small. But overall highly recommended.
P. J.Comfortable and clean room with plenty of storage space and the free WiFi was excellent. On the downside, the room was fairly small and the window overlooked a neighbouring office building. There's no restaurant in the hotel but it's within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and shops.
If you're driving, you need to be aware that there's nowhere near the hotel to unload bags. The hotel garage is only suitable for relatively small vehicles.

TV wasn't a smart TV but was connected to a google google Chrome so that's close enough. Large screen with some foxtel.
Cups were dirty and the view was of a brick wall.
Still would consider staying again, would even add a star if my next stay has clean cups.
D.We needed a cheap room for one night in Brisbane city. We got what we paid for. Great location. Excellent staff. They also booked us a shuttle to the airport and gave us a wake up call. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable.
D. C.Clean and tidy rooms and friendly staff. Modern smart TV. Third floor rooms with courtyard are not sound proof and you will be woken up by noise, in my case a 6:45am roof repair going on. Bathroom doesn't have a fan and has poor lighting at the mirror so you'll use the mirror in the main room instead.

T. M.Service is great and the rooms is pretty awesome. TV is massive and took me by surprise. Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the parking on location. It's an extremely tight fit. I was driving a 2014 Ford focus and it stressed me hard trying to park it. Other then that it was a brilliant experience.

B. T.I have just spent 5 nights, on my own, at the George Williams and enjoyed my stay. The morning after the first night, my shower was cold and water leaked all over the floor. The staff were very helpful in finding me another room where I spent the remaining time. Special thanks to Mark and Phillippa. The rooms are very tiny, as I discovered through reading the reviews AFTER I had booked and I was told that most rooms do not even have the armchair the both my rooms had. However, the bed was so comfy, the room was very clean and so quiet...and I was there to see Brisbane, not spend time in my room. For the proximity to everything and the great value for money I would certainly stay here again.

M.Clean small rooms with the basic necessaries. Wifi was bad.. either it kept disconnecting or can’t connect at all. Using my own wifi instead of the hotels. Clean bathrooms, friendly staffs although we arrived quite late like 11pm. Great location and everything is in walking range! 8/10. Would recommend for singles or couples staying for a couple of days!
R. E.This hotel is very conveniently situated only a couple of minutes easy walk to Roma St station where you can hop on a train straight to the airport or to the Gold Coast. Its close to the pedestrian bridge that takes you over the river to Southbank & close to the Queen St shopping precinct. My room was very clean & the bed comfy. The reception staff were friendly and accommodating. I was recommended this hotel & will definitely stay here again on my next Brisbane trip.

J. R.Great location in the CBD of Brisbane. The room was comfortable and clean if a little small. There was a kettle and mini fridge, hair dryer, extra pillows in the closet. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
F. P.A few rude staff members and not alot of staff on board, no room cleaners after 2pm, u get charged for leaving the room late after 11am. The cleaners don't refill the fridges or coffee and the room cleaners are not on point. No room service, great location and rooms though

But sometimes in the night that hallway smells like a pesticides spray . Overall we enjoyed our stayed 100% specially the 51st Street restaurant of the hotel , don't miss the streetshare, thetrrye massive and so delicious . We'll come back again . Recommended!

L. M.Location is great. Very basic rooms, nice enough for the price but it's not somewhere to hang out - just a place to leave your suitcase and fall asleep. Free parking was advertised but then it wasn't free. Good wifi but unnecessarily complicated sign in.

M. S.Wow, I stayed at this Hotel only a day ago my stay was amazing,staff were friendly they couldn't do enough for you.
Rooms were very Swish,they were stylish ,coordinated,plenty of room in them and apparently I had been given the photo room it was great.
The whole hotel was so clean it would definitely give the other hotels a run for their money!
It was so reasonable on they're pricing!
They had a refrigerator in the room, Tea,Coffee,Ironing board,iron,Heater,Blanket,Flat screen Tv,Phone if you needed,everything you could possibly want to make your stay comfortable.
I dined in their restaurant three times and can recommend their Grain fed Beef,I have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world and that was one of the best ,I did send my compliments to the chef so hopefully he would have been told .

d. v.Nice loaction. Rooms are cozy. If you are coming from airport then try to take a shuttle service will drop you right opposite the hotel. If you want to check early they will charge you extra for the same.

J. T. “. A. A. G.Wasn't really at the George Williams hotel I was next door at 51st Street cafe really nice business allowing me to sleep on there verandah. They have a awesome menu with a challenge to eat one of there burgers with 6 prime ground beef patties and all the trimmings a side of fries onion rings and one of there super shakes to wash it down you have 15 minutes to complete and only can drink the Supa shake. cost $50 if successful you receive a 51st Street baseball cap, $50 voucher and your name goes on there hero's wall. I will be smashing that on payday hope to see you there on the 24th January 2020
