a. b.The caravan park itself is nice and tidy, with power and water at most sites , staff at the office and grounds people are helpful and friendly. All the amenities are clean and tidy . A well equipped camp kitchen is also keep clean and tidy. I imagine in peak time it would feel a bit crowded for my liking. Plenty of trees through out the park for shade. Basic store with diesel and unleaded . Cafe on site offering dine in and take away . Would I stay here again yes in off peak
R. P.We loved staying here. The Villa was super clean & incredibly comfortable. The staff are so helpful, friendly & kind. Woodgate is spectacular. We cannot recommend this Caravan strongly enough. Can’t wait to go back! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Kitchen area has microwave, big sink and induction and toast machine.
If you don’t have this thing in your trailer, reckon to go this place.
It is close to water so you can do fishing and some swimming.
We are planning on going to north side of Queensland again.
Probably gonna stay here.
Have little convenient store and fuel station.
Cafe opens early and special sounds so good.
Receptionist was so kind and we got treat for our dog! Lovely!

D. L.Wow what a lovely place. Right across the road from beautiful swimming beach. The staff here were amazing in fitting us in right before Xmas. The amenities block was very clean with plenty of toilets and showers. So glad we stayed here.
C. C.Place is very clean, dog friendly and human friendly. Very well run and great location. Sheltered from the sea breeze. There is breeze but not at bad as at the beach. Great swimming beach just across the road. Off leash for dogs is at each end of the beach which is best to drive to.

D. S.Just had 3 nights again at the park. Have stayed at this park a few times now. It was very busy this time. Had an issue with the grease trap drain smell behind the van which was attended fairly promptly by the fill in caretaker. He was great. The only downside to the park is smoke from the smokers. We had the same issue with chain smokers last trip. Maybe a designated smoking area or no smoking on the park grounds anymore. Very unpleasant whilst dining under your own awning with that smell wafting around. The staff at the cafe although busy as could be a bit more friendly. Great place to stay other than that.

S. B.Very plush and well appointed caravan park with glamping cabins right on the last surfing beach up the coast of Queensland. For this expect to pay 5-10 dollars, more for a powered site that is very narrow.
T. N.Great park. Awesome beach directly across. Great cafe out the front, reasonably priced aswell. We stayed in the safari tent and it was fantastic. Bath on the deck was very nice and romantic.
Only mark down was the mattress. It was quite hard and myself and Hubby didn't enjoy sleeping on it. Both had sore backs every morning.

S. K.Firstly the natural environment is beautiful. The caravan park is easy to locate and once you are in the check in area it's a delight. Beautiful plants and a gorgeous looking cafe. Signage is very clear throughout the whole park. It's big and the spot we had was huge for our 6 p tent and ford ranger. It's pet friendly and there were a lot of dogs however all on leads and quiet. The amenties blocks were very very clean and more than enough to never see more than one person in there at a time. The park was full however it didn't seem like that. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks so much and we will be back. It was our first time camping and it was a fantastic experience.

As soon as we arrived at the fixed tent I was in love with the care taken to create a vibe with the decor.
For us it was a bit of a delayed valentines stop on our 10 days of travel and aside from the mattress being a bit firm, it was so nice!
We arrived around dinner time and had we thought about things a bit better, would have brought some dinner things to make a bbq and make use of the facilities a little more. (Went to the bowls club instead)
Perfect for a romantic getaway but also a good choice for families with there being a snug cubby for a couple of kids to fit.

C.Lots of work since NRMA took over, but still peaceful place. Good size sites, facilities are good and clean. BBQ and camp kitchen for use. Van park across the road from beautiful beach. Good cafe on site. Pub and bowls club up the road with courtesy bus. No jumping pillows here more for older patrons. What more do you want.🙂
j. w.This is a great park. New amenities block down the bottom end of the park was beautiful and clean as a whistle. Cafe and takeaways at the front right opposite the beach. Go to bed with the sound of the gentle waves lapping the shoreline. Fuel and supplies avail at the park or just down the street. Close to club. Would return in a heartbeat

B. A.Nice caravan Park with clean facilities. Try for a shady site in the warmer months! There's no pool but the ocean and Kilometers of beach is across the road. The cafe is really great and a good place to get out of the sun and heat and treat yourself to an iced coffee.

A. C.Nice park, just getting new turf layed when we were there and the further to the front you are the nicer it seemed. Low tide (across the road) is a fun spot with the kids. You must go to Theodolite Creek at low tide - amazing spot! 2 minutes drive or good walk...

One downside.

T. C.We love the NRMA Woodgate Beach Caravan Park. The facilities are the best I've ever seen. Right across the road from the beach and not far from the local Bowlo. They have a beautiful Cafe on-site open all day incl dinner with an array of food. I can recommend the whiting & chips.

R. G.What a beautiful place to stay. We had a powered caravan site and enjoyed the beach being directly across from us. There is a kiosk and cafe onsite which makes life a lot easier when you feel like lunch or a snack. The only bad thing I have to say about the place is it’s quite hard to get your caravan into some of the sites because roads are so narrow and trees are in the way backing your van in, especially if it’s large.

S.Great place. We've been here many times before. We (2 people) stayed in a cabin. The cabins were well furnished and spacious (AC too). The only issues were the taps in the bathroom not working very well and slightly dirty floors. Service is great, staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rest of the park is lovely with lots of kids, families and dogs. Walking distance to the beach. Very busy though, especially during school holidays, so book in advance.
We will definitely be back.
M. W.Lovely little caravan park, very quiet and clean. The beach is direct opposite the front entrance, and if you go out of the back gate there's a 5km bush walking trail. Facilities are excellent.
K. W.Great shady sites. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the ambience of the park. Across from the beach and well appointed with camp kitchen, convenience store that also sells fuel, a Cafe and clean amenities. Great local attractions and not far from Childers and Bundy. We'll definitely be back.

The Queen bed is very comfy, amenities in the cabin are very good and the kitchenette is also a big bonus. Such a beautiful atmosphere in the park, very lush as well. The service from reception staff was also impeccable. Thank you for a great time away.
C. C.Booked in for 3 nights in our motorhome which is a very busy caravan park across the road from a lovely clean beach. We had a powered site with no concrete slab right along the back fence of the park and these sites are generous in size. The amenities at the back of the park were excellent and kept very clean. A shower, toilet & basin in one cubicle was very convenient. The park is very shaded through out.
Courtesy bus to the Woodgate Hotel fron the park starts at 10am and they are more then happy to transport your fur babies on the bus and have a large seated outdoor area for pets. Meals and service was 10 out of 10.
The Coutesy bus to the bowls club doesnt start until 4pm and not happy to take pets. It is however in walking distance fron the park. There is a small designated area if you do take your pet.
Serenity Cafe at the entrance to the caravan park was unfortunately not very welcoming. We had breakfast there when we arrived and the food & coffee was good but one female staff member was very rude and abrupt. We think this might of been the owner.
Overall great park to stay at friendly staff and easy check in plus pet friendly.

T. S.Don't really like the bigger "corporate" van parks because they tend to charge too much for very little extra, but the location of this place is the attraction. Woodgate Beach is such a nice place. The park has reasonably large sites and is better than the sardine tin sizing you usually find in the corporates. Amenities are functional and despite the copious amounts of rain and sand they were pretty clean, with a twice daily clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Also found fishing off the beach at theodolite quite good - caught half a dozen grunters and a few other species.
E. V.We stayed here over the Christmas period. Management go above and beyond and run a really tight ship which is great to see. A very lovely family oriented park. Beautiful location, quite a gem. Great onsite cafe, beach across the road. Very basic camp kitchen with BBQ and microwave facilities only. Clean bathrooms, no overflowing bins. Kids have fun on their wheels but it's not wild and out of control like other parks. The park attracts a considerate crowd and management nip things in the bud if things get out of hand.

R.clean amneties and amazing spot right at the ocean. but sites are very squished. we also got stuffed around- had booked beachfront site 2 months in advance in off peak season during covid and a week prior to arrival got a phone call saying our campervan would be too big. the call got disconnected and they didn't feel the need to call again.. then on arrival we noticed all beachfront caravans were the same size as ours so we don't believe we got t told the truth. I also had to follow up twice to get a refund for the balance...

Had a lovely greeting and welcome from reception, we hadn't made a booking and got a nice sized camp (during January peak season) The receptionist made sure we were given a shady spot without having to ask. Dog friendly, even recieved a welcome pack for our pup. Very nice relaxed vibe around the van park and beach areas. We didnt have a Ocean view but the sites at the front of the van park did. Only negative was that i thought there would be a pool or playground for the kids and there wasnt.
The staff run activities and movies nights during school holidays, which was lovely. Bring bikes/scooters for the kids, lots of space to ride. The beach is just across the road, its beautiful.

The park is right on the beach with beautiful walks along the beach or through the Banksia Forest . This is our 3rd visit. We will return.

N. R.Super friendly staff. Awesome new amenities block, best I’ve seen. Great location. If you get allocated a site near the new amenities block ask to move. It’s design is airy and perfect for an amenities block design but amplifies every sound in there including toilet and shower doors banging all night. The acoustics were great for the lady who sang a full musical performance for her entire shower (outstanding) but it didn’t do those who had loud bowel movements any favours, which we had the delight of hearing camped beside it all night. We left two night early due to the noise from the amenities block and because some clown was doing construction work close by with a pole driver from 3am to 5am on a Sunday (yes, in the middle of the night!!!!) banging every 2 seconds for 2 hours. The caravan park is great, the noise, not so much.

J. A.We love coming to the tourist park because it had a great friendly atmosphere and is so close to the beach. We usually stay down the back of the park which is close to a toilet and shower block which is convenient but also far enough away that it is nice and quiet. Lots of activity during the day but by 830pm the park is quiet and peaceful. The staff are friendly and do what they can to help and make your stay as pleasant as possible.
H. R.Nice place, close to a nice walk along the waters edge. Site are well laid out and easy to get to. There are lots of facilities/amenities and the bathroom were clean. The camp kitchen had good BBQ, a hot plate, kettle and microwave. It probably could of used a good degrease, clean but that's on the other campers who didn't clean up after themselves.

PERHAPS a bit roomier than the average.
No oven in the kitchen.
We had paid for a ocean view cabin but instead it's more of a ocean glimpse.
The Café on site is handy but I personally didn't like the coffee served. It's a wonderful outdoor area though.....very relaxing.
Burgers are great too.
A lovely long beach just across the road but it's not tempting enough to get me into the water.
We're here for four nights which is about three too many.
J. L.What a fantastic holiday park, directly opposite the beach! Plenty of shady sites for vans and tents, cabins from small to full house sized, great cafe on site. The amenities - toilets, showers, laundry - fantastic, wheelchair friendly, clean and large. The camp kitchen was large, with a big fridge, two BBQs, microwave, toasters and kettles, four giant picnic tables, loads of bench space. The park is 'dog-friendly' as well - big plus :)

J. C.The tourist Park is set in a beautiful spot just moments to the beach. There are wild kangaroos that frequent the area. The amenities are pretty standard but what you would expect from a caravan park.

r. s.Such a nice clean quite camping ground, has a large under cover camp kitchen with 2x gas b.b.qu. microwave, large fridge freezer, seating for a few families at a time, large clean unsex admenties block with plenty of hot water for showers, washing machines and dryers available, brillent staff who go out of there way to help...situated on 16klm of sandy beach.
Still untouched from the ruthless developers,with no high rises. Great to see the older homes and only 2 story and single story homes along the beach front. Our current camp site we have 2 sites.

Woodgate has almost every thing you need chemist super mart visiting doctor hardware store hotel exxy to eat at though, an excellent bowls club good beach.
Back to the caravan park, be prepared at night you will need a good torch to get around with as the caravan park is almost devoid of night lighting. The park does not go anywhere deyond 3 stars the toilet dump points are FILTHY there is no underground sullage so the aroma sometimes spoils your stay. But that said alot of people stay for months and come back on a yearly basis.
P.S. the amenities are very good. For a tidy site bring a leaf rake.
