Room was very clean with ours having view over a portion of the river and storey bridge which looks great at night. Our two bedroom was very modern with ensuite to main bedroom. Location was excellent with everything from dining to shopping within small walking distance, my only negatives was the cost of parking at the Oaks and the lack of parking outside in order to book in on arrival, however in saying that, next time will be easier as we now know where and how everything works.

K. F.View and location is the best part of the stay ,rooms a little tired and needing a revamp as well as some TLC with housekeeping it really needs a good deep clean and some decent curtains to help with the early sun, especially when you would like a sleep in.

Once in the room it's not so bad but the parking was a nightmare and very badly done. Some areas were very steep and narrow and a cause for stress. Another problem is that it's just not a hotel. It also accommodates what appears to be a large amount of students and regulars. I won't stay there again

T. M.Pros: Great location. Very convenient for a nice walk along Eagle St pier to Howard Smith Wharves, or just to Queen St mall. Staff are very very friendly and helpful. My room had the most amazing view of the Story bridge. Unit was small but well equipped.
Cons: There is never enough parking. This got be to very annoying as I stayed there for a month and there were many instances I could not find any parking for Hotel guests and had to park in the visitor bay in the basement, which is a pain to get in and out of. My serviced apartment was supposed to be cleaned weekly, but I was not satisfied with the level of "clean". The unit I got was quite tiny, and the appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, dryers) could use an upgrade.
K.Spent my 21st here and it was so amazing. The hotel room was clean, spacious and the beds were so comfy. The pillows were beyond comfy. I really want to buy them for my own home!
The location is perfect for the city and the view from an apartment with the story bridge view is dazzling.
B. S.We stayed a week at the Oaks and enjoyed the spacious room of the 2 bedroom apartment. I gave it a four star because we came into the apartment and the washing machine was broken. They did accommodate us with another room to use to washing and offered to move us but was chose not to because we had already unpacked. We were on the 8th floor over looking the river. The room had a balcony with an AMAZING view. I enjoyed sitting out there at night looking at the city lights.

I. D.Location wise, this is a great set of apartments. Very close to Brisbane's riverside, can go out for a quick eat or a few drinks and be back in no time. Parking is fantastic, little tricky getting in and out but this is hardly a fault of theirs. As for the service, staff are friendly enough, but there always seems to be a lift out of order which in a (close to) 40 story building, this isn't all too pleasant. And now the rooms - wow! This is the highlight for me, the rooms are fantastic. I frequently stay in one of the dual level apartments and it makes for a very comfortable time. Well designed and space wise they are extremely efficient. Taps, shower etc all have a good amount of water coming through them, they don't trickle out weakly like some other places. All in all, this is great place - whether you're staying overnight or looking to buy an apartment.

Staff were super friendly and helpful Chelsea in particular was great! Bathroom could use a bit of an update but the view was awesome and the rest of the room was lovely!

The lift could be little bit more faster/modern. The parking access ramps, especially the turn ramps could be a lot more wider.

A. T.I've stayed now 4 times and each time have been greeted with great service. Friendly staff, you only have to ask and they'll help. The building is great. Views are really good and all rooms I've stayed have been fantastic. It's a great home away from home when you are working. Amenities are fantastic with the gym, pool and sauna to help unwind. Lots of shops close buy to buy groceries if you don't wish to eat out. It's my go to place I always book.

We are in a two bedroom apartment, with lovely open spaces and a beautiful view from the windows and balcony. Reception staff have been wonderful. We will definitely be back.

v. s.Great views & spacious rooms. Free wifi & great parking facilities. My boyfriends best mate booked for a few days for $270.00 a great price. He was in town visiting a dying friend in palative care. The only disapointment was ordering chinese from china town via uber eats we four did not recieve all our order that we paid $100.00 for.
B. H.Great location and friendly, helpful staff. The 2-bedroom apartment was quite spacious and had a great view over Brisbane River and Story Bridge. Apartment was ckean, beds were really comfy and both bedrooms had their own air-con which was fabulous fir our sommer-time stay. Bathrooms need some up-dating/renovation though and the on-site carpark is really only suited for very small cars.

They did not do service and cleaning for our apartment even our booking included this. Wasn't big deal as wasn't dirty anyway.

Unfortunately my wife and I were allocated room 052 which runs parrallel to the complex lap pool and about 2 metres from our bed. Awoken at 6.15am Saturday morning by a large group of young children having fun in the pool, yelling and screaming.
Be aware and avoid this room if you are looking for a peaceful sleep in.
Considering our booking was made over 2 months in advance, we were extremely disappointed in receiving the dud location. This room should be one of the last allocated every day.
D. N.I love Oaks Felix apartments. I've tried many of the serviced apartments around the city and this is definitley the best! The rooms are spacious, the view (from the executive apartments) is incredible and the prices are actually pretty reasonable. You have most of the facilities you need (washing machine, dryer, fridge, cooker etc). Highly recommended. They currently also offer 2 bedroom for price of 1 in school holidays.
B. M.The location is 4 - 5 stars, the hallway between the elevator and the room is 1 - 2 stars due to the bad smell, and the room was 3 - 4 stars. A one bedroom apartment in the city near the river and botanical gardens it GREAT!!! The room could have used some work but it was great and we would probably stay there again.

K. P.Considering the location, this place is very good value. 2 minutes walk to Eagle st Pier, 5 minutes to Queen Street Mall. The 1 bedder I have has all the amenities, laundry, kitchen, 2 TVs, desk, table, balcony with outdoor furniture. My side of the building has glimpses of the river, some other rooms would have better views, some none at all. The place could do with a freshen up soon, with signs of wear on most things, but it is clean, quiet, and very convenient.
B. C.Easy to check in and arrange parking spot. No hassles in finding the room and getting set up. All bedding, towels and other amentities are all clean, with no dust or staleness. Just an easy place to stay with lots of room in the 1 bedroom serviced apartment. This is for work travel, and is very convenient.
B. K.Single bedroom apartment. Nice size, with combines kitchen, dining and living area. Clean and tidy. Sadly, the place is a little dated and could use a refurbishment. Light switch plates are yellowed, some permanent mold and limescale stains in the bathroom, small TV's, no spare plug sockets near the bed. However it's sufficient for the few nights I am here.
A. C.I had a terrific experience with my stay at The Oaks. The staffs were always very friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to get my booking of two rooms for the price of one deal, excellent value. The apartments are also located in the CBD right in the centre of all the restaurant and bars actions. The river is also right next door for anyone who wish to take a casual stroll along it.
All the rooms have a quiet aircon in them, which works perfectly at their lowest setting even in the humidity and heat of Queensland's summer. The bedrooms within the apartment were adequate in size. One with a Queen size bed and a dual wardrobe built in. The master bedroom also had the dual wardrobe with a king size bed and an ensuite.
The kitchen was functional if a bit on the small side. The lounge and dining areas were very spacious with a TV at the lounge side.
All the amenities are provided. Such as all the usual kitchen items, cups, plates, cutlery, toaster, fridge, kettle, oven, stove top, microwave and dishwasher are in the kitchen. In the bathroom there is a washing machine, drier, ironing and clothes rack.
Overall, I highly recommend The Oaks Felix for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
D. H.Stay was enjoyable. Visited while the building was being painted but it wasn't an inconvenience. Close to lots of amenities. Room was a teeny tiny bit dated but it was clean, comfortable and quiet. You are able to connect to the HDMI on the room tv which is a bonus. No weird hotel tv setup here. Room had own kitchen and laundry. Very enjoyable stay.
S. N.The hotel is located only a 2 minute walk to the Brisbane riverfront and all the restaurant and dining experiences it has to offer. Likewise, by the river there is a walking path that will take you to and through the botanical gardens. The hotel had very well appointed and spacious rooms with a kitchenette that is very convenient for someone looking for a longer stay.
A. A.Some rooms excellent, some terrible. Move if yours isn't good. Internet can be amazing or terrible. View can be great. Well located. Good amenities- clothes washer, kitchen, gym. Pool was being maintained while I was there.
D. M.Great accommodation with extra space. Parking is a little tricky to check in if the front bays are gone. Rooms and access areas are slightly odorous. Room cleanliness is very poor. Overall could be better if the cleaning standard is lifted.
T. L.WOW the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Great room, they even looked after our luggage the day after occupation and again on our reutrn to Brisbane City (several days later) for the day until we needed to head to the Airport later that evening. They helped with transfers too, we will use this hotel again.
J. H.Great location close to the city hopper ferry, shopping and south bank attractions. Rooms are fairly spacious that seem to be 3-4 years old. Lap pool, spa, sauna and gym are available and all seem to be in good condition. 24hour concierge for late access. 30 minutes complementary Internet is a little lame but pretty standard at larger establishments. Would happily stay again.

S. M.Quite disappointed to find there was no air con in the bedroom, air con in the lounge was facing away from bedroom so couldn't use that to cool down. To make things worse, the ceiling fan in the bedroom would start and stop when it wanted.
The shower head would come flying off if you used a little bit more pressure. Bathroom door would open by itself, no lock to keep it closed.
I think you should upgrade your free wifi, 30 mins free a day and it's worse than dial up.

S. G.I enjoyed the room. Nice view and clean. However I booked via the telephone and not once was there a mention of a $150 security charge. I have never had to pay one of these before. Taking over 2 weeks to be returned to ones credit card. Not to impressed about that. Also the meaning of complimentary means given or supplied free of charge. So having a complimentary upgraded is not that when charged an extra $100 for the second bedroom.

The parking here is quite tight and I would not recommend bringing a large vehicle.

Howard Smith Wharf walkways will take a few days to navigate but you won't be disappointed. That's just one small area in Brissy.
