My partner and I stayed at the point hotel on a ‘cityscape’ voucher we had purchased from red balloon. Our stay was amazing and the staff were INCREDIBLE. Our cheese and wine platter was brought up to us straight away , our room service at 10:30pm was super quick and the staff were very accomodating when we requested to have our breakfast brought up to us from the restaurant instead of being seated in the restaurant. The view was great from our room and the room itself was very nice. For the price we paid it was 100% worth it but the staff being so lovely and accommodating really made the trip for us 🥰 we will be back.

As hotel rooms go... Nice! Big bed (lovely), clean. modern. Fast little kettle. Nice soaps. The service and food was fantastic! Little touches like a 'Happy birthday card' and chocolates, bottle of bubbles and cheese board were lovely. Best 'Burger and fries' I have ever had. Loved the swordfish. The following morning's complimentary breakfast was delectable! Light and fluffy pastries, yummy Eggs Benedict...So huge kudos to the kitchen! Tiny spoiler, TV is out of date and no access to natural air in this room as it doesn't have a balcony or windows to open. Otherwise we had a lovely experience.

Great location. It’s noisy sitting by the pool due to the road traffic however pool drinks and food can be purchased 11am-10pm, which is pretty great. Our air con didn’t work well at all. Almost needed to changed rooms but we made it through the night. Seems like that problem will be fixed quickly though. Easy access to Kangaroo Cliffs.

I LOVED my stay at The Point Brisbane. The staff were all wonderful, each of them went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble. We were constantly surprised with the extras they provided like bottles of sparkling and red wine, and chocolates in our room. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well kept. Our room was always a really great temperature, the air conditioning was always working perfectly and we never had to adjust it. The bed was super comfy and our view of the city from our 9th floor room was so incredible that we slept every night with only the sheer curtains closed. We didn't have time to use the pool and Eagles nest rooftop was closed (covid staff shortages) so I'm even more excited for my next stay seeing as I didn't even experience the hotel to its full potential! Lambert's restaurant was shockingly good and the breakfast included each morning was really impressive. It's in a really great spot in Brisbane, a quiet street but just a 10-minute walk to Holman wharf where you can get a free 2-minute ferry across to the city or Howard Smith Wharves. Special mention for Imre who provided fantastic customer service and even sent our dessert up to our room later from our 3 course meal at Lambert's as we were too full to have it straight away! And a young blonde girl on reception who was so polite and friendly it made me love the hotel from when I first walked in. This is easily the best value for money hotel I've ever experienced. I will definitely be staying again!

Booked via Luxury Escapes. A little disappointed when we arrived and were told that the rooftop restaurant and bar was closed for renovations. This wasn't mentioned in the Lux Escapes write-up. We did however receive wine & chocolates on arrival, as well as two complimentary drinks with dinner. Dinner at Lamberts Restaurant on the ground floor was lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Some other areas of the hotel were also under renovation, including the lift and car-park. However there was no noise from the works around the place (maybe because it was the weekend). We did not have a bath in our room, even though Lux Escapes write-up said we would. Hotel itself was OK, would stay there again, especially after the renos. But probably wouldn't book via Luxury Escapes again, because all is not what it seems. A city view like the advert would have been nice, but that didn't happen either :/

What began as a pleasant stay the first time was an unpleasant stay the second. Constant hammering and building noise every morning of my 3 night-4 day stay. Complained to reception & they offered me $20 back. Disappointing. UPDATE: However wrote an email to management & we have come to a resolution with a free stay in future, which is great because that means I will stay there in future. Thanks The Point, Brisbane.

I’m not usually one to write a review. However, we stayed here for an event that they hosted on their rooftop bar (beautiful views) after spending a few hours in the city it was amazing to come back to a BIG bathtub , the bed & pillows were amazing but the best part was the block out curtains! If you want to day sleep & order room service this is the place! 10/10 recommend

Faultless customer service. Very friendly staff, made us feel very welcomed for our wedding and honeymoon. Excellent location to the city. It’s the rooms that really missed the mark for this level of hotel. The king bed was like sleeping on a fold out couch but with more sag, they tried to put a mattress protector on but it’s due for a replacement, aircon also was due for replacement being so loud- it sounded like a plane was in the room. They don’t tell you but there is a credit card surcharge. Didn’t get to try the restaurants but the coffee was good.

We have stayed here twice & already locked in New Years Eve. The staff service is polite & respectful. Breakfast is plentiful, tasty & our table service was excellent. A big shout out to Azam Rabbani for listening & taking onboard a couple of suggested tweeks to our room from our experience. He also ensured our New Years Eve choice of room will not disappoint given he took the time to provide a short but very useful tour of the room type we had booked/paid which led us to downgrade at our own expense voluntarily to a room more to our liking. I stayed here last week for 3 nights. I wanted to explore KANGAROO POINT and this was the perfect location to base myself. There are good walks on both the west and eastern sides of the point. It is @ a 2km walk down main street to WOOLOONGABA BUS STATION and associated shopping centre. The nearest bus stop on SHAFESTON ST IS @ 10 min walk and @ 12 min to CENTRAL STATION. The upper level room was clean and comfortable .It was also DARK at night which is not so common now with all those indicator lights. A free bottle of water was welcomed. I had 2 breakfasts . The large coffee cups and excellent service [DEAN] were highlights but the food or at least my eggs were less so.The breakfast area was bright and spacious with good seats and tables. Staff were always helpfull. I would stay here again .

This place is amazing! The room was very nice and the shower was amazing! The staff were very accommodating and provided an amazing service. Great ambiance and location. The only thing that wasn't good was the comforter needed some cleaning, they have to make sure that the sheets are always changed. Other than that, this place is good. Would definitely go back. :)

Location. Staff. Cleanliness - excellent. Air conditioning turns off on its own because of an outdated system I was told. Woke up every night for 3 nights in a row to turn it back on because my wife and I like to sleep in the cold and the room got quite warm. Television was probably from the early 90s and very very pixellated. We actually found it quite funny that a retro TV like that still exists! However, I understand that the hotel is one of the older establishments around and considering it’s age, that was really the only two things to fault for its age and price point. Staff are attentive and pleasant. The room was clean. And the location was convenient.

This is one of our two favourite hotels in Brisbane. Great location and rooms that are priced well. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. And Lamberts Restaurant there is fabulous. Very clean rooms;p and close to everything. We will be back again in July.

Excellent value for money in a great location Welcoming staff, comfortable bed, cosy-yet-spacious room, great bathroom, and wall to ceiling windows with a good view to let in lots of sunlight. Parking situation looked quite chaotic. Getting a space was pure luck to begin with. Fortunately I could leave the car there and walk about the city and avoid the battle for a space upon return. Really enjoyed the stay.

This wonderful hotel is needed to be known for more people! I’ve stayed in the junior suite room for one night. It has beautiful bathtub! The room was fully equiped with decent amenities and a variety of mini bar selections (i didn’t use tho). The swimming pool was good enough with many sun-beds and room service foods were delicious and served quickly. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay! We were in a large, clean and spacious room. Everything was perfect. We had lots of little extras like locally made rocky road and nougat, complimentary bottle of wine and 2 additional standard drinks. Loved our 2pm checkout and our meal in the restaurant downstairs was superb. We will definitely come back again.

Yes we had a terrible experience but the General Manager since has contacted me and provided compensation. Hopefully all the building works are completed as I wish to use the comps provided. Again I will repeat the only saving grace of my last experience was the restaurant, and all it's staff attached who served up delicious offerings for breakfast and kept us smiling throughout the 4 day horror stay. Bartenders also had a great sense of humour. It is in such a great spot and hopefully management have made improvements with reception staff and supply of everyday items in rooms. I shall re-edit after my next stay.

Stayed recently with a friend. Weather was bad so we spent more time at hotel than expected. Great breakfast and friendly helpful staff on reception. Young bloke on the bar (Reece?) took good care of us with drinks too. Happily recommend this one for a short stay.

Its good to have something middle of everything. The point Brisbane i found very good as location base. And free car parking for customers. And all other facilities as normal for 4.5 star hotel. Pool, small gym room make a good peace of mind. Restaurant Just in next door. Just a bit pricey compare to others. You can give it a try if not happy as your expectation look for better option. But i can recommend this hotel.

I recently hosted a lunch for 20 people at the Panorama Room of The Point to celebrate a special birthday. The venue was lovely, the food was exceptional and the staff were outstanding. Special thanks to Haylee whose attention to detail when organizing the event for me was amazing and made everything go smoothly. Just checked in this afternoon so a little early to comment on all facilities but hD a very warm welcome by reception staff, explained all the usual information which was appreciated. Now enjoying a quiet Ale in the bar. Promising start, staying on the 11th floor with excellent views.

Booked through Luxury Escapes and was looking fwd to our High View Suite with city views for 2 nights with my partner. Imagine my surprise to be given a room looking into the carpark on Level 1. After taking issue with this stuff up at the reception was then taken to view another room , which still was not what I had booked and payed for. Was told by the duty manager that all of the suites were taken and basically it was bad luck or unfortunate, that they had over booked. Not impressed to say the least. Will not be booking here again. Not good enough, when u pay for something and receive something completely different. The rooftop bar has an excellent view of the city, and the breakfast was good, just make sure u book in for breakfast as it is in the restaurant. Close to the Story Bridge Hotel, for those who want to party, and Southbank 10 min by cab.

Brilliant 3 night stay. Family of 6 adults 2 kids celebrating a 60th birthday. Every need was met. Staff so accommodating. Special mention to Leanne at reception and Maria & Karina in the Lambert restaurant who went out of there way to make our stay wonderful. Great location, short stroll to shuttle free Ferry accross the river to City and Southbank, or $13-15 in a cab. Grocery store 5 minutes walk from hotel. Highly recommend this hotel. We will be back. 😘

The staff is what makes this place thrive. Such friendly, helpful staffers! I would give 5 stars to the staff! Literally every face i met during my stay was friendly and helpful. Amy at the bar & restaurant was the best!! Professional and just a joy to speak to. The hotel itself is pretty run down but didnt raise any hygiene issues with everything spotless. The hallways do have a "wet carpet" stench but the rooms are really clean and comfy. 24 hour room service is a real plus with amazing options. Lambert's could really do with some decent vegetarian options. The entree ( gnocchi) and main (cauliflower dish) literally have 1 each veg options and that's very sad and worst part of our stay would be that even though the hotel was very quiet , not busy at all, the restaurant management, upon enquiring wouldn't even serve us vegetarian options from their room service menu at the restaurant. We did not want to dine in the room, and given we only had 2 vegetarian meal choices on the menu, we were disappointed. The restaurant service however, the bar and wait staff - was faultless!! Just the staff alone made our stay amazing. Cosy, comfortable dining ambience, super attentive wait staff - they are the only reason I will return ( and for the Creme Brulee). The breakfast was amazing and had way more vegan choices - once again, amazing staff. This hotel is a great transit option or even for a night in the city.

Hello we really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. Just a few things to report. TV in the lounge room had very few channels and it was very cloudy and very hard to watch . Also the water pressure in the shower for cold water was very low. So to get wet with that small amount of pressure was an issue. Having said that the service was fantastic the staff were brilliant the food was sensational the room was lovely and we thank you very very much.

An excellent boutique style hotel. We stay here several times a year and always book a Junior Suite. Good sized rooms with comfortabke beds and spacious bathroom with big tub. Lovely pool and a good breakfast buffet. Well located in a quiet but close to city area and a very short walk to the free City Hopper ferry to get to the city. Also with free parking. And thank you for the wine and chocolates for my birthday during our last stay.

Hotel room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed (which we learnt not to take for granted after visiting other hotels in Australia). Staff service was great and we felt welcomed the whole time we were there. We were glad that we stayed there for 5 nights. Didn't hurt that they offered free parking for hotel guests. Breakfast was also delicious with a reasonable spread, although a tiny disappointment was its lack of warm foods like soup or porridge. Located in a spot far enough from the city centre to be quiet and close enough to still be convenient. We enjoyed the city hopper ferry rides in our tour of Brisbane city.

Location great, free drinks due to room not be ready on arrival, buffet breakfast good but hotel tried to charged me twice. Room comfortable, tvs in room need overhauling when choosing channels Foxtel sometimes works. Great room cleaning service. We enjoyed the pool++ but you need to make sure towels available. We stayed 5 nights. Would stay again due to the beautiful location kangaroo point.

Second time I have stayed here. Despite the no pets policy...I haven't had an issue with my small service dog. The rooms are well appointed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Turn down service is available and the meals are excellent and reasonably priced considering it's room service. Only issue I had was one staff member continuously repeating the price of drinks back to me like I was unable to afford it. Found it a bit insulting but other than that I absolutely recommend it. Not at all far from the city and Dockside Taxi is less than a 5 min walk. The pool area is luxurious and the beds are comfortable.

Beautiful appointed hotel. Peaceful silver service restaurant and the desserts menu is incredible. All I could ask for from a rooftop bar; views of the setting sun, followed by the sparkle of city lights, live music, and delicious cocktails. Well layed out hotel rooms, covering all the creature comforts. Top this off with dedicated staff that take those extra steps to give you a delightful experience The Point is the place.

i stayed on the weekend I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel stands out from other hotels. The free valet parking was great we came home quite late the staff put chocolates on our pillows. The buffet breakfast was fresh and tasty especially the little glass smoothies. And we loved the 12 pm checkout. The only thing was dissapointed the roof top bar wasn’t open but everything else was great Thank you so much we will be back 😊

The Point hotel gets full marks from me. There is nothing I can say that isn't positive. My room was on the top floor and there views were great. The room was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, the (very nice) shower and bathroom was huge, clean and very modern. The TV was a perfect size for the room with a great selection of channels. Good wardrobe space, plus a fridge and safe and the bottled water was really appreciated. The location is pretty good. There is free secure parking and it is about a 10 minute drive into the city or to South Bank, of there is a ferry every 30 minutes. What else? There is an on-site gym that i have used. Again, spotlessly clean and what i used worked well, there is a nice sized pool that i haven't used yet, but we have a few days left so i hope to before we leave. Check in was easy and all the staff we have encountered have been happy and friendly. All in all I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Nice place easy to access to the ferry and downtown. So nice people and friendly. They upgraded our room to bigger and more comfortable suite. The best part was early check in and late check up just for AUD 25. I highly recommended.

Stayed in a standard room (forget the exact name) on the 11th floor. Beautiful city views and of the water. Room was clean. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast buffet was above average, didn't feel cheap. Pool is small but still nice, same for the gym. There was a minor muck up with being misinformed about the check in time, however, this was quickly rectified and handled well.

First of. the staff are amazing and very Friendly! The Rooms were excellent and clean. The breakfast buffet at Lamberts restaurant is incredible and is included in the price which is also very reasonable! Heated Pool with poolside service, gym and rooftop bar. Unexpected surprise of our Australia trip. This was a very clean hotel. Excellent city view. Delicious buffet breakfast that made us come back for dinner. Wonderful staff (Luke was a great help). We did hear some traffic noise on the 10th floor but did not hear any other guests inside the hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location, short walk to the City Hopper terminal to City. Room is not very big but enough for a short stay. The Bed is a little small if you are used to king size. Great service, free parking and 12pm check-out time is a bonus in City area.

The location is perfect and picturesque, being just a short walk over the Story Bridge to Fortitude Valley, with Docklands shops within 2 minute walking distance. The rooms are always wonderfully appointed and the relaxed atmosphere and non smoking environment of the hotel ensures a very comfortable stay. The service from all staff is above and beyond, one of the friendliest and most accommodating group of people I have had the pleasure to be served by.

We arrived at the Hotel after dark and I was not able to really see what the surounding and the Hotel from the outside looked like. Check-in was easy and the lady at the reception was very friendly. My room was on the fith floor and it was one great room. Lots of space and the bathroom was very nice. I did not hear anything from other guests and had a great night. Got up early the next morning and strolled down to the river from where one has a great view of the down town area. Many early joggers and walkers were out already and I only then saw how nice the area the Hotel is located at was. Oh and I should also mention that you can take a littel ferry boat right there at the river and this will bring you over to the down-town side. So you can leave your car at the Hotel and still be within minutes in the down town district. After my walk I visited the breakfast area and it is one nice breakfast! Very good variaty. All in all it was a very good experience and I would stay there again for sure!

Spent Saturday night at the Point Hotel for a friends 21st. Had a really great night on the rooftop but really wanted to mention some great service we received from a lovely young waitress named Maddy. She was great! So helpful and easy to chat to. She made herself known to everyone with dietary requirements and made sure they were catered for. She has a great personality and made a fun night even better. She should be commended for her great service!

We had a great two night stay in one of their junior suites. Really good experience pretty much all the way trough. Nice room, great facilities, good breakfast, fast elevators, etc. The only negative experience we had was with a few of the staff. Check in and check out was just cold and close to rude, some of breakfast staff were impossible to get attention of, etc. Not expecting fireworks here, but from a five star hotel smiles should be included.

Coffee was great and the room service food was pretty tasty. The Point Burger was a little busy though, maybe could lose the egg. Kangaroo Point is a great place too.

Easy process to charge room for extra services during our stay. The buffet breakfast was extraordinary, with cooked and continental varieties to choose from, fresh fruit smoothies and juice shots provided. Loved it! We have have stayed in a number of 5 star Gold Coast accommodation, however none of these establishments come close to the level of service and cleanliness provided at The Point. 11 out of 10 stars! I felt like a queen staying here. We booked a king bed deluxe room. It was like a five star hotel luxury suite. From soft (not made from old towels) luxurious bath robes to high quality sheets, many large European pillows soft or hard in the room and comfy warm doona. Huge big HD tv with foxtel etc To floor to ceilings windows with views most can only dream of we enjoyed our modern appointed room and didn’t want to leave. I wasn’t real well and having a separate spotlessly clean bath I could soak in was perfect. I ordered room service breakfast and it was delivered within no time. Hot and delicious, better than the food we had last weekend at the star casino gold coast. So too was the room. I will never stay anywhere else but this hotel when I’m in Brisbane next. Walking distance to the storey bridge hotel and ferries to the city. Also, Lambert’s restaurant is fine dining, with reasonable prices, fantastic wine list. Great staff at restaurant and front desk. Not sure how anyone could hear noises from traffic below unless they had a balcony and left the windows doors open. I heard a slight rumbling from peak hour traffic but it was only after I had woken and it was more of the tone a tiny fan on very low would make. I’m very sensitive to road noise. I refuse rooms if I detect any traffic noise. To be fare, if you want to hear the road, Everything has to be turned off. And no talking to even hear a tiny murmur if it. I noted someone suggest they heard construction next door. I look out my window and was amazed to see a few trucks & diggers, but I didn’t hear them at all. I’m not sure why anyone would say anything negative about this hotel/apartments. As a flight attendant I get to stay in the best hotels all over the world and this ranks right up there amongst the greatest. And I’ve not had time to enjoy the pool or rooftop bar here yet (I heard it’s amazing). Bravo Points Brisbane. You all can take a bow. You all deserve it!!!

Location is great. Close to the CityHopper and is within walking distance to most of Brisbane. The food is great and the service is excellent. The fridge didn't work at all which was a real bummer after a day out. Room service did a great job but they didn't replace several item that they should have. We went to explore the swimming pool and the rooftop bar. We went up to the rooftop bar and took a seat. Within a minute or two, we were asked to leave as there was a private event going on. There were no signs or anything so it was pretty disappointing to get kicked out. The swimming pool doesnt look anything like in the photos but its still a nice place to relax. So apart from all that, we had a great weekend out in the city. Any problems were sorted out at the front deck straight away. That was the main thing that kept me happy. Would definitely recommend!

Hotel was ok. Not great, but not terrible. Rooms are decent size and clean. Bathroom is functional. They need to leave at least three bath towels in each room. Maybe my wife is unique, but she always needs two bath towels- one for hair and one for body. And I like one of my own. Hence, always leave At least three. The Lambert’s restaurant was also very average, but pretty expensive. My wife needed a gluten free meal and the manager/waiter confirmed it would be gluten free. IT WAS NOT. Be very cautious if you have food allergies. It is probably better to eat somewhere else and not risk it. My wife spent the next two hours after breakfast sick and in the bathroom. The gym is laughably small. Overall, the place is ok, but I don’t think I would ever stay there again.

Nice hotel and easy to access. Breakfast was good and stuff were very helpful and friendly. Nearby is ferry station. With ferry you can goto city center and back. Only 17 minutes trip and it's free. Only backwards was building site cross the street and work started 6 am and you really can heard the noise. So ask room from the other side of the Hotel.

From the outside and Lobby this is very nice. However the room we stayed in looked like they had decided to change from a unit with amenities to a hotel room where they wanted you to know what you were missing out on. The stove top had been replaced with a large silver plate stuck to bench and still had a rangehood. Other appliances had been removed with empty holes everywhere including a washing machine in a cupboard, with tap hoses sticking out of wall a drain in floor and plug very tell telling signs. Staff were very friendly but a little slow as we had to ring twice a night to get them to turn the air con on to heat instead of cold as Brisbane was having a cold snap and the remotes for the units didn't actually work. If you are sensitive to noise then pay extra for an ocean side room as the 12 lanes of traffic that pass by have constant flow 24 hours a day.

Located at Kangaroo Point, which is a short drive away from Brisbane CBD. Free shuttle to Brisbane. Rooms are a bit dated but are clean and neat on our arrival. Price is quite reasonable . Has a small pool and gym. Didn't use either as it's a short walk to the river and it's pleasant walking along the river front. Free parking but does get a bit full if you come back late. Need to park outside if that's the case.

One negative is they wanted to get my credit card details (because of the Mini Bar) but then told me they would be charging me $50 per day to my card. It was to be refunded to my card after I left but I declined. Told them I would go elsewhere. We settled on $100 debit for the week I stayed. Other than that a great place to stay.

Today I attended a Christmas party on the rooftop. My children were with me and were unable to join me on the rooftop as it was 18+ area. I thought I was going to have to leave but the staff were amazing in accommodating us so I could attend the Christmas party and my children were well looked after. Went well and truely over and beyond and the kids felt like they were having their own party. The Couples Retreat package was excellent value compared to many in the area, the suite was inviting, as was the large tub, and the bed comfortable. Wonderful hotel offering spacious small two room suites with queen size bed for a reasonable price. I was delighted with the welcome and check-in procedure, having prepaid. And though I was early, a room was offered to me immediately and they did indulge my request for a quiet top floor room with a view. Given the actual construction across this location, it's the back of the hotel that is presently considered quiet, though it looks over a major thoroughfare. The 10th floor room I was given is far enough so it's not too much of a bother, but do expect some traffic background noise. Room is clean, bathroom offers strange but vast corner bath/shower. Bed and pillows confortable and I can't wait to try the lap pool and restaurants. The location is a bit isolated, but the hotel offers parking and it's convenient by car. By public transit, it's a little over 5 mins walk to the nearest ferry stop and many bus lines. All in all, an excellent value and a location that is quieter than what CBD would offer!

Nice hotel, if you get a good room it is really nice. Unfortunately I got a room with a bath room that looked like in a hospital. It turned out they gave me a room for a person with a disability (hence the "hospital look" , for space to shower when you have a wheelchair). However, there was no reason to give me that room as many others were available, so I am not why why they did. The staff was able to book me into another room, which was nice.

We had around 12 rooms booked for us and our guests for our wedding (the weekend of Riverfire). Despite being heavily booked, the staff were very attentitive, responding to our requests quickly. One of our guests was sick, and when her room- service arrived, the staff had made her a lemon and honey drink without being asked. So thoughtful and kind of them. We stayed in the Junior Suite, 1111, and also saw rooms 608, 417, 517 and 915. Were really impressed with the modern decor and features of each rooms. Views from every room as well. Can't recommend this hotel enough! Made our wedding even more special! ☺️

I stayed here for a week during a business trip to Brisbane. I wasn't planning to stay here initially, but saw a deal that lets me pay the same price as a slightly lower-end hotel and so decided to go for it. I opted for the Deluxe Studio. Asked for a room on a higher floor and was given one on the 10th floor, facing Shafston Avenue (the main road). The view wasn't fantastic, but it was at least not obstructed and I could see part of the river, the CBD and beyond. The room was spacious enough, clean and well furnished; lighting was adequate. The floor-to-ceiling window makes the room looks big. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, with both a shower area and a bathtub. The bed was comfy, and I generally slept well during my stay. While my room was facing the main road, traffic noise was not significant during the night. The staff that I had opportunities to interact with were all friendly and courteous. I had free wifi with my room, but the connection was unstable. The connection dropped off frequently and the speed was slow (with occasional spikes in speed). I got better speed with my phone's 4G network. However, if I moved my devices to just next to the room's door, the speed increased; but this was not a good solution because I would then have to stand next to the door all the time to get things done (instead of sitting at the desk). I suspect that either the placement of wifi routers (or access points) were not optimized to give the best throughput, or there were not enough access points. Food at the hotel, especially the Lamberts restaurant, seems to be on the high side. The room service menu offers slightly better priced alternatives. Unfortunately, food choices nearby are somewhat limited (there are only a few cafes within walking distance) so if you don't want to travel out further, you will have to make do with what the hotel provides. I ordered breakfast from their in-room-breakfast menu and occasionally items from their room service menu. Food were generally tasty and generous portion: e.g. scambled eggs were nicely done, burgers were juicy. However, there are still area that can be improved: e.g. one morning the toasts were slightly overdone, the Hawaiian Pizza I had one evening was definitely burned on the top and tasted bland. Their attentiveness to details might need some work, though. They did not replace the in-room-breakfast order form on several days, and I had to specifically ask them for it. One hook (for hanging cloths) was broken in the bath room, as was the bathroom door lock, but they did not get those fixed during my stay; those defects were obvious enough that I should not have to specifically inform the management about them. In generally, I have enjoyed my stay and would probably stay here again if I can get a good price for the room.

We bought the couple getaway on Red balloon. Wine and cheese platter was nice. Chocolates on pillow (Lindor).

Great out of the way place on Kangaroo Point. So easy to get around with ferry's only a short walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the bed nice and comfortable.

The hotel is very beautiful inside and out also offering a amazing view of the brisbane bridge. There is also a few bars within the hotel, one at the top, and one at the bottom. I didnt get to visit the one at the top, but i was able to to visit the one at the bottom next to the pool. The drinks and service were out of this world and they also allow you to drink in the pool. 10/10

This is now my choice of hotel in Brisbane. I travel here regularly on business. Originally I chose it because a like a nice Bath and saw that they had a wonderful soaking tub (even include the bath salts) as well as the really nice Appelles toiletries. Then found out parking is included. So I was sold. Arrived to a friendly staff. The rooms are well appointed and updated. The only things I disliked were that the AC shuts off in the day and resets to 24 (I like it around 18) and is limited to 20 minimum on AC, but this is very minor and probably helps save the environment just a little bit. It is also a bit confusing to navigate to, that being said, most things in Brisbane are. It is close the the free City Hopper ferry, and I believe the hotel even offer free transfers to the ferry. There is currently some construction going on nearby which starts at around 7 which can be annoying but this is certainly not the hotels fault. Just something to keep in mind. The prices are incredibly reasonable, much you get much more value for money (especially with the free parking) than any of the major brand hotels in the CBD and dont have to worry about it being outdated. (I'm looking at you Hilton) All in all I have to say Best in Brisbane!

Stayed here over australia day weekend. Had the queen guest room (two single beds). Adequate space and room, good shower and free wifi. Tv had the normal channels with foxtel. Breakfast was buffet which had variety of hot and cold items. Overall good experience and will be back if I stay in Brisbane
