高.Take what you have paid into consideration, this place is fair. Decent size bed(s), bath towel supplied, shared bathroom and toilet in the corridor. Especially, very helpful and friendly staff.
L. C.My friends and I had a very exhausting day having an unexpected trouble with our 4wd, so we had to stay at a hostel in Mount Isa and found this hostel. I called to ask about vacancies and luckily we could have a dormitory room. When we arrived, Julie(if I'm not wrong,) hosted us so kindly and warmly, made us feel at home. The hostel was really lovely, tidy and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom was clean, and we could have deep and nice sleep during the night with a/c on☺️. And Andrew, the night manager,(if I'm not wrong again!) helped us so much as well and made our stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place and thanks again for everything! We could fully recharge our energy before starting another day to solve our car problem💪Thank you!

J. S.Really good place for budget travellers like me！Shared bathroom is clean. Air-conditioner is ample but uncontrollable. It is fully run during early night and turned off in the midnight but still acceptable. Staff was benign so as the gente giant (the cat in the pictures) His name is Jazzy who is probably hails from a maine coon. Nice time spent with him hoping I can see him again 哈哈. 谢谢款待！
y.The only backpacker's choice in town, and as a result I was a bit unsure about it at first. However I had a great time. The staff were very friendly and helpful, helping me book the tours of the mine (which unfortunately didn't work out in the end due to lack of people) and the fossil centre and gallery. Also as I was there they were in the process of adding wifi for the guests. During my stay I always got the feeling the staff were doing their best to constantly try to better the hostel and were discussing changes with the guests.
K. L.I have stayed here for two weeks. Hosts are very lovely, helpful and friendly so that I feel like staying home. It’s not a fashionable but clean and cozy backpacker. There’s a lovely swimming pool. I always go swimming in cozy atmosphere there, and feel relaxed. Also free Wi-Fi in limited space. Air conditioning is not 24 hrs but there are some fans. If I visited Mt. Isa again, I will definitely come back here for stay.

h. c.the best backpacker that I stayed so far, a family own where you feel at home. They bring you in some amazing, unknown place for nothing, beautifully generous!! Also an amazing chance to get closer to aborigine peoples in this hostel who are really friendly and make this place full of life with the children. Very cosy and very clean, thank you!

I suppose we could have stayed in some of the hotels, but I guessed (correctly) that the welcoming atmosphere (thank you, Polly) would make this stay memorable in all the best ways. Innkeepers across Australia (and around the world) can learn something from this great family. David
K. U.We had an incredibly comfortable stay! The people there were very kind and friendly, the rooms and facilities are neat and clean. Overall a very positive experience!!!
I. T. (. t. W. -. i. a. S.Clean and convenient but the only budget accommodation in the city and overpriced for what you get. There are a lot of non backpacker guest as well. Mt Isa is just one big franchised town. All the shops are just chain stores. I walked the whole town and could not find an independent coffee shop. Awful boring Macmall shopping. The only interesting things on the town are all underground.
