We've been here a few times. Our most recent visit was yesterday and the bottleshop guy was fantastic. Other times we've been to the bar and bistro and the service has been lacklustre. The bar attendants have been polite but the welcoming, relaxed hospitality for me, has been missing. It's only my opinion but hospitality venues staff should be hospitable. Food has been good but nothing special.

We love it here, we come at least once a year. Lovely beach for your dogs, off leash. Staff at the hotel are the best, friendly and helpful. The meals are fantastic, you won't be disappointed here. Perhaps the park is not as flash as the NRMA, but I'm not changing

There's not a lot of other places to eat but food here was not disappointing. Had calamari salad, supreme pizza, coral trout specials and seafood crepe. I enjoyed the coral trout the most as it's rather healthy but if you like something saucey buttery then crepe is for you. Hot chocolate drink was better than expected

Great food. We visited here twice during our 6 day holiday. Had an asian inspired fish salad 1st visit and then a delicious pizza that had a gluten free base the second time. Sat on the swings at table, and they were really comfortable

Great location and chill vibes. BUT... The staff seem like they hate their jobs and are pretty unapproachable. When you ask them for anything, it feels like you are asking them a huge favour.

Very busy night. Received my meal but it wasn't what I ordered. Replaced correctly when most of the others at our table had almost finished their meal. I had Thai green prawn curry. Prawns were well cooked, but there was very little sauce and quite a lot of rice. Had to ask for more sauce which was quite delicious

Loved my experience here. The seafood platter was delicious. Sitting outside allowed you to enjoy the breeze and see the foreshore area while still sitting in the shade. The staff were helpful and cheerful. Loved the 'swing set' dining settings, they are quite unique.

Good food that came out quickly and friendly staff. We had the roast pork and veggies special for $15 which was great value, all fresh veggies and the crackling was super crunchy and yum. We also had the Hawaiian pizza and chicken parmi. All good tasty food, I'd go back again!

Great setting right on the beach. Fun table and chairs made up as swings. Food average only my husband and I both had the Hervey Bay beer battered whiting which was very hard to find amongst the batter. $40 for 2 and left half on it on the plate.

Nice little pub. Bit dated. Swing chairs are a bit cool and quirky. Food was good, but not great for the price. $32 for the rump but then had to pay an extra $2.50 for sauce which was a bit rich. Steak cooked nicely but a hefty portion of it was fat. Calamari salad had loads of calamari but the salad was really just lettuce and the crispy noodles were stale. Staff were friendly.

Great location, nice staff and pretty tasty food. The major downside is how rundown the place is. It's so old and dull. I hope the managers have plans to do a massive reno on the place. It is in a prime location, so fingers crossed we see a modern venue in the near future. It could be amazing.

Well there's a group on FB and everyone was saying "Don't tell anyone about this place..." So of course I had to go there. Beautiful place and friendly vibe from the staff and the punters. Cool place to chill but they were fully booked out for dinner but they let me order a takeaway. Oysters and Duck Spring Rolls. Guessing they have a gun chef here.... Can't wait for dinner. I was right. Perfect Kilpatrick Oysters and the spring rolls were spot on.
