K. T.In general, the hotel apartment is well equipped with washer, drier, dishwasher, electrical stove and espresso machine. It’s clean and tidy. I do have some concern with the bed as it is too soft. I literally sank into the bed and can’t sleep the whole night despite super tired. I also noted that the espresso machine was not cleaned as the last capsule was still on the machine and took me a few rounds to wash it clean. Other than that, its a great pet friendly hotel with heaps of parking.

J. H.Stayed here probably for probably more than 5 times. Rooms are big, good for small family. Price is very reasonable, only a little far from city centre but nothing is too far in Canberra! Rooms have washing machine, dryer, dish washer, microwave, induction cooktop, etc; very convenient.

J. M.Bathroom smelt like vomit. Seemed to come from bathroom floor drain. Bed was too soft which caused a sore back. All main remote buttons wouldn't work like guide, setup. Only channel and volume worked. Couldn't set sleep timer.
J. S.Great place to be able to take your furbaby. The facilities were great! Just found a few things need improvement. Need to feel welcomed a bit better. Also when your leaving it would be nice to asked about your stay and be invited back again. But instead you hardly get spoken too or even looked at! Front desk staff need to be more welcoming. I had a better conversation with the ladies that clean the rooms. Accommodation good...front end staff could improve greatly.

c. L.This hotel is one of the best we've been to! And the price was very reasonable, even without all amenities offered.
The facilities are great (full kitchenette - dishwasher, hotplates, sink, cutlery and cookware, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and pods) showering supplies ask well as water, milk and tea and coffee supplies which you can have replenished when you go to the desk. There is a small shop offering meals to cook, snacks and toiletries.
The staff are very welcoming and helpful.
the rooms were very clean and well presented (even better then the pictures online) there is a table and chairs, and the bed is the softest bed ever!

It's great that people are able to bring there dogs and it was still very quite when coming back to settle for the night.
You can't beat the price, it was the lowest for what is offered.
Its disappointing that abode hotels are only in the ACT because we would definitely stay again

S. W.Very nice apartment. Kitchen and laundry facilities in the room. Lovely out on the balcony looking over the golf course to Hindmarsh Drive. Ducted air conditioning and double glazing plus a good Samsung TV rounded out the modern unit. Only criticism was the bed which was way too soft for us.
G. G.I travel with my dog so it is great to see more places offering dog friendly accommodation, and it not be a random 2 star place way out of town.. or looking for Air BnBs that allow dogs. We had great little apartment room so had a kitchen and laundry facilities in the room itself. There was no issue at all walking through the hotel with my dog, he even got a little doggy gift bag on arrival which was a great touch. It is a little out of town, but i am talking about 10 mins.. not terrible.. but you are not on the main city streets that for sure. But Abode have other locations if need a different area to stay in, we found this one suited what we wanted for the 3 day stay.

Our apartment was clean, more or less. It was spacious. The bathroom was nice and water pressure could adjust your cuticles if you wanted it to. But the main bedroom was separated from the rest of the living spaces by a half height wall, which is silly... and cheap. A few of our dishes were dirty. And, perhaps the biggest miss, was the bed. It was like sleeping on a sponge, with the edges curling up around you, each spring saying hello.
Would I stay here again? Yes, on a quick overnighter with the family. But I won’t be mistaken about what we’re getting.

R. M.Decent modern hotel, stayed in a studio room which was good and has everything you would need. Kitchen area comes with mini fridge, mini dishwasher, stove top, various cutlery, utensils and even a pot and pan.
Only downside is reception is not staffed that late. I arrived just before 10pm and caught the staff before they left. Luckily because trying to ring the 24/7 number later I couldn't get through.
Anyway, hotel is fine, if you need to be in this side of town it is a good option.

✅ Facilities within the room was great - washing machine, dryer, mini fridge, dish washer, sink, cutlery, cups, plates, dining table and chairs, queen size bed (a little too soft but it was a clean bed nonetheless)
My partner, dog and I stayed for two nights in a terrace room. Which had a fenced, shared grass area as you walked outside.
The second day we were out the evening and our room had not been cleaned. (Despite our display of “house keeping required please”). We mainly wanted the bed to be tidied up, as we kept the room in a very clean state anyway.
Overall - loved having our fur baby with us in the hotel room. Decent price for the two nights. Very impressed with the amenities within the room.
Only feedback in regards to our terrace room (which cost a bit more) is I would have liked a seperate/fenced area directly outside our room for my fur baby to have freely walked around without a leash.

A. T.Overall, a good hotel but had some unwelcome interruptions. I booked a late checkout of 2pm as I had some activity to get done. Between 10am and 12:30pm I had THREE different people enter the room. Quite unacceptable, given I'd paid an extra half day rate for the privilege of late checkout.
Aside from that, the apartment was spacious and clean. The beds are super soft, so if you don't like that this is maybe not the place for you. Great location. Friendly staff

N.Our stay firstly was made great from the start. Shannon the duty manager was amazing. He was professional however extremely kind and conveyed a real honest attitude in making us feel welcome and comfortable. So many hotels these days have really unfriendly staff but he built rapport with us and genuinely cared about the brand he represented and about the guests staying there. Our room was very clean and tidy and excellent to stay in. They provide unlimited wifi awesome bathroom products and provide espresso machines! Certainly worth the stay.
P. B.After my husband was unexpectedly admitted to Canberra hospital, I needed a room overnight that would accept a large dog. Abode not only has pet-friendly rooms, they provided a 'doggy bag' of goodies. The room was clean, spacious, and modern with kitchenette and laundry. Excellent value and service.
J. C.A very clean room. The layout of the hotel is extensive, making the walk to the room a long one. It has all the basics and the studio with balcony has access to a grassed area for dogs. The bed was so soft and lumpy so not a comfy sleep for two people. They extra charge credit for dog friendly.

The staff are super pleasant and relaxed, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped for the price. The availability of a pantry for consumables, a huge gym, a pitch and putt... I will come back for sure.
M. S.Very convenient new hotel (shops by car at Manuka). Kitchenette and washer/dryer in room good for short stay. Only drawback - just one mirror in bathroom. A long mirror outside bathroom would have been good. Mattress could have been firmer but slept soundly (tired from drive from Sydney) so no problem. Very quiet although dog friendly place.

So comfortable! Getting to the room may feel like a walk around the block. I had to pass 30(!) rooms before I got to mine. Otherwise it's good.
W.Good location and friendly staff. Hallway noise carries into your room. We had someone next to us who got up at 5 am. If you're a light sleeper, like me, you may have trouble sleeping with the constant bangs from doors all night. The bed was also too soft, made for an uncomfortable sleep.
But room was clean, well presented and had nice views over the golf course. Was just a pitty about the hallway noise and bed.

J. M.The room is nice and we'll equipped. The service and staff are both very nice, friendly and helpful. My only complaints are the heating problems and the lighting set up. There's no bed side lighting or switch by the bed, which walking in the dark and hoping you don't stub a toe. Apart from that, it's a pleasant place to stay.

Major negative was being locked out of our room at 6:30 pm when the electronic key failed and had to wait for security to let us in as no one was on reception on Christmas day. We were then unable to leave room again until someone was back on reception in morning. No significant apology/compensation was given. We could also hear some dogs continually barking in other rooms. Not sure if owners were there.
J. T.5 star accommodation, fully carpeted, beautiful appointments, French door leading directly to fully fenced and grassed dog run. In the past, when staying at dog friendly accommodation, I've always felt that the owners have had to comprise on quality but not at the Abode Narrabundah, the room was 5 star with separate bedroom, stylish accommodation, coffee pod machine with complimentary pods and very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.
E. S.Check-in prices at Abode was smooth and hassle free. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The two rooms I booked for a weekend away with friends were spacious and amenities were great for our needs. Outside are ample parking spots and the hotel was also able to accommodate a dog that's traveling with us for an extra fee.
E. O.I really enjoyed this hotel. The place is neat and clean, it has loads of natural light, nice location, plenty of parking space. The family studio is quite big, the bathroom has a washer and a dryer. Beautifully presented with all amenities. Free wifi and smart tv, easy to connect to my phone for my kids to watch youtube. I would definitely recommend it and will look forward to stay here again on my next visit to Canberra.
S. C.This is a great dog friendly accommodation that is about 15mins from the CBD. The rooms are nice and airy and the pet friendly rooms have either a balcony or a courtyard for the dogs.
The property back onto the local golf course so there is plenty of room for the dogs to walk and do their business.

It was bright and spacious with all the amenities a couple need including the hotel essentials tea coffee fridge etc, as well as microwave, dishwasher cooktop and cook wear. Bathroom's huge and clean with environmentally friendly products. We absolutely will be coming here again.
G. H.Very clean, good service. Fully serviced apartments. Maybe a bit over serviced, if you leave a coffee cup on the bench they'll put it in the dish washer and run it! How much water and electricity gets wasted just for a single cup? Some other places give you a door tag allowing you to opt-out of servicing every single day, but not these guys.

T. M.Wow, I loved everything about our apartment. Within walking distance. Nice to have a small kitchen to make snacks/light meals and shopping centre not far away. There are a few shops dotted around and the parliamentary buildings are not far, but I would definitely use wheels if staying here. The shower was spacious.
R. M.We chose this place because we travel with our two small dogs and the hotel is dog friendly. Most of the ground floor rooms have a door that opens on to a grassed area. Beyond this area is a golf course so the dogs have plenty of space to do what dogs do! The one- bedroom apartment is small with a small fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The TV is a Samsung and has instructions on how to cast shows from our phones so there is no need to miss our favourite Netflix etc shows. There is a small number of microwave meals available for purchase at reception or the German club is a short walk down the road. We may try their pork knuckle specialty tomorrow!
L. B.It's OK. One of the few Canberra places to stay with a dog. Most people staying seemed to have a dog with them. Avoid the place if you don't like dogs.
Check-in was disorganized and only saved by presence of the housekeeper. Once in the correct room we were happy enough with the facilities.
T.This place was amazing. I spent the past weekend here and it was so relaxing. The staff were extremely helpful. The room was great. The bed was comfortable. If you were spending some time here it also has a washing machine and a dryer for convenience. The store that they have down in reception is such a great idea. Abode is only a short distance from attractions around Canberra. I would 100% stay here again! Thanx for the amazing stay!

A bit out of the way but good location backing on to the Golf Course. The rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities you would expect from a serviced apartment. Everything was clean and tidy.

J. F.While not cheap, staying in a room with 2 dbl beds is fantastic. The kitchen is poorly designed, but it does contain much of what you'd need to stay for a longer period of time. It seems strange that the plates don't fit into the dishwasher, and the microwave is very difficult to use, but otherwise it is not bad. Nice to also have a washing machine and dryer in the bath room.
All up, it's been a relaxing stay.
C. J.What a great place to go with your pet. Just like a normal motel, but you can walk, carry or pram your pet into the elevator and into your room with you. Didn't hear any pet noises from other rooms either.
L.Im staying for 2 nights! First impressions are good so far. I have had a couple of problems the toilet door doesnt latch or lock so wont close fully and opens by itself and easily pushed open. I reported the issue yesterday and assured it would be fixed today but its still the same. wifi may aswell not exist as it drops in and out consistantly and foxtel is only 2 channels and was for some reason unable to mirror my own foxtel from my phone. Although ive had these couple of issues I can see why it has such good reviews. Staff are nice, the whole hotel is nice, clean and well presented. Has full kitchen facilities including espresso pod machine and dining table along with a unit style family room. We have the double and was expecting 2 beds in the 1 room but it was a nice suprise to see 1 bed is in a room and the other is out facing the tv. Deck is lovely with views of the golf course. Bathroom is nicely sized and clean with a washing machine and dryer. I would highly recommend this place and ill defiantly be returning next time im in canberra!
R. B.Ideal if you have your own transport. Good facilities and has most of the kitchen utensils you require. Nearest restaurants are the Best Western next door and Hermione German Club. Rooms are clean but decorated in blues and greys with harsh bright led lights that make the place feel cold. Staff are excellent but are not there 24hrs. If it felt more cosy then more stars!

The only negative thing I noticed is a bit weak noise I see isolation from the hallway. Noisy neighbours can cause some disturbance on the way out/in apartment. Recommend to everyone.

K. H.Abode Narrabundah is a home away from home. It's perfect for a getaway with a couple of friends, your partner, family or even if you're travelling solo. The rooms are very comfortable and inviting, the beds in my apartment were all very soft but my companions and I all slept well each night. The abode also allows pets at an additional cost if you love travelling with your pooch.
J. C.We were in a room with an adjoining door and could hear the party happening in the next room. Fortunately those people went out at 11pm and we were able to sleep. However they came back at 5am and were noisy in the hallway and their room for about 40 mins.
To be fair, our booking was very last minute and we suspect we were given (one of) the last available room(s).
The shower water coverage was rubbish, but everything else great!

However, the air-con/heating did not work, doesn't matter what temp it was set - just felt like fixed at a central temp level. T. M.The Abode Narrabun*** had a good size room with a King bed in the main living area. Our 1st floor room overlooked the carpark, and we enjoyed the fresh air when we opened the 'balcony' door and could keep an eye on our bikes locked to a lamppost. Very suitable for an extended stay.
B. L.I previously loved this hotel because it was clean. But last stay even tho its covid times we recieved a room that hadn't been cleaned at all and was much smaller than usual. So I asked for another room, this room was cleaner than the other but still not upto the cleanliness of previously recieved and ive stayed here heaps! Very disappointing.

T. M.The Abode Narrabun*** was a good central location whilst in Canberra. Walls seem to be a bit thin so loud conversations in adjacent rooms can be heard somewhat clearly, so its not the place for you if you need absolute privacy. We found all the staff friendly and helpful.

T. M.We stayed quite regularly at Abode while waiting for our new home in Canberra to be completed. Need car to get around, but short drive to all Canberra attractions. Parking is ample but if you get a room furthest from reception it can be a long walk to your room.

T. M.Having stayed a few times at Abode Tuggeranong and loved it, I'm undecided about this Abode hotel. The Ger*** Club is a short walk away. We opted to have dinner across the road(on the recommendation of the staff member on duty) this restaurant was within walking distance of the hotel.
