My wife and I have a running joke where as part of our reservations I ask for a picture of an 80s or 90s celebrity by her bed. It started with The Hoff but has since mutated.
These nice people went completely all out, and last night I had fun stalking through the apartment like Inspector Clouseau finding printouts of Lawrence Fishburne in every conceivable drawer, cupboard, and in one case under our covers. 10/10.

The location is outstanding. Walking distance to Kingston & Manuka shops and Manuka Oval. Easy drive to all the local attractions. The rooms are nice and clean.
There are a few design issues that may frustrate some. The car park is awkward, there is only 1 lift and it can be an indirect walk getting to your room and/or reception.
We prefer ground level, which have gates to Giles Street. We have been coming here for years, normally for a 1 or 2 night stay, on the way further up north.

The building looks a bit old (it was opened in 1991) but the apartment I was in was renovated so was pretty good inside. It was was a good size with fridge, dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer, so it was a convenient place for me to stay for 2 weeks as I looked for an apartment to live in. The bed was comfortable too, and the aircon powerful. Overall I found it an easy place to stay in, and while I didn't avail myself of daily cleaning it was offered. The location was also good, close to Kingston shops for food and most of the govt. departments for meetings. My only critiques are: 1) the water pressure in the shower wasn't very good, I had to hold the shower nozzle overhead because the shape of the spa-style bath prevented me from standing close to it (but I could sit down) when it was fixed to the wall, and 2) the internet was very slow if I didn't take the laptop into the bedroom, where the router was located. The signal strength was too weak to make it through any walls (and the range seemed to be only about 1.5m). They need to get a new router in room 136, the one there looked about 15 years old.

A huge thanks to Adina Kingston who allowed us to cancel our accommodation at short notice without penalty due to Covid travel restrictions. It’s hugely appreciated. We would definitely book with you again.

Very well located and appointed serviced apartments, including lots of parking and indoor and outdoor pools (although the indoor pool, spa and sauna were shut due to the pandemic). The setting is very peaceful and quiet.
The apartment was well maintained, clean, well equipped (including a good kitchen, washing machine and separate dryer), and very comfortable (including good, quiet air conditioning that you control). There is lift access from the car park.
The internet was a bit patchy, but perhaps that was due to us having lots of data hungry occupants. There was mainly just the free to air terrestrial TV available, with some hazy Foxtel channels.
The location is great. Kingston is a peaceful but vibrant suburb of Canberra. It has a lot of great places to eat, as well as your normal shops (eg Coles), is right on the Lake (although the Adina is a couple of minutes' drive away), and was a 10 minute drive at most from most Canberra attractions.
Finally, Arner at the reception was very friendly, helpful and informative.

Location was great - really close to some lovely cafes & pubs, walking distance to the lakefront and parks. Rooms were clean and spacious. We made good use of the outdoor pool but the indoor pool was very cold. We found the beds a little too soft for our liking. The complex was clean, well-maintained with lovely gardens. I would recommend staying here.

Excellent location to major tourist attractions. Modern decor and facilities. Good kitchen for food prep. Lovely bathroom, washer and dryer. Heating and cooling. Wifi limited to 24hr without purchased plan. Clean and roomy in two bedroom apartment. Beds sublime. Wasn’t serviced fully daily (if you were in the room at time of rounds) but adequately. Reception friendly and prompt to assist as necessary. Wire cage luggage carriers available to transport bags up lift to rooms. Undercover free parking. Conveniently shops are nearby (groceries and gift) and a host of eateries to explore. Highly recommend.

Great location with just a short walk to Manuka, Kingston and Kingston foreshore. Easy to find and ample off street parking. Staff friendly and helpful.
Room is a good size and well but sparsely decorated. They are well cleaned.
However the whole complex is in need of a refit. Things like noisy aircon, very small flat screen tv and strange room layout with the bathroom entry in the wardrobe need to be upgraded. With newer serviced apartments now available it would only be a discounted rated that would draw me back.

Our stay at Medina Serviced Apartments was brilliant. The bedrooms had lots of space, so I could put all our bags in my room. The bathroom was very modern and new and it was also very clean. We liked the privacy as there was a big brick wall between all the
apartments. The reception gave us complimentary wifi. The staff were welcoming and they explained everything throughly. The indoor pool was really nice and so was the spa.

We appreciated everything about our stay especially location and dollar value. Relatively quiet apart from access to an outdoor pool and bbq facilities. Extremely busy on arrival but the Reception girl coped extremely well given the volume of people. We would stay here again as it ticked all the 'family friendly' boxes.

We had a brief stay recently in a one bedroom room. We had stayed before in a family room (2 bedroom) with our grandchildren. Our family room was delightful although at the time the bathroom could probably have done with an update, the room itself was inviting and very comfortable, a lovely place to relax in at the end of the day. The location is wonderful, close to mostly everything. The bar-b-q facilties were excellent, used both stays. Unfortunately the one bedroom room we stayed in was completely the reverse to our previous stay. It had been upgraded but was not a pleasure to return to at the end of a long sightseeing day. Whoever did the layouts certainly needs to find a different vocation. A shame as we were looking forward to our brief break.

Great hotel located close to Kingston cafes and shops. The washer/dryer in our apartment didn't dry but went into a full on wash cycle. The rooms were clean and loaded with facilities including washer and drier. Staff were great. We will be staying here again when we re visit Canberra.

Our primary motivation for choosing this property were the excellent rates on offer. The nice things about it were the sizeand location, but that's all. The apartment was clean on the surface but my son dropped a banana on the floor when i …

The room temperature setting is a bit off, so it gets pretty cold. Other than that I found the unit is looking modern, clean and tidy. I enjoyed the vintage exterior setting. Great for family (who can cook).
T. M.
Very nice place to stay with all facilities needed for a week in the apartment. The rooms were quite big to accommodate us all with extra bed for each room. Lol lol and towels were supplied Our room was very clean. Great attention from staff after I had a heavy fall.
D. B.
Decent place. Stayed in a two room apartment that was quite large. TV's are small with poor reception on the cable channels. Lounge room only has a sheer curtain and it felt like the people walking past might be able to see in at night
d. g.
Staff were very courteous, apartment was well maintained and outfitted. And the staff even contacted us about our daughters slippers that were accidently left behind and had them waiting at reception where most places would've just thrown them out. Keep up the good work 😀
T. M.
Shower/spa very awkward as the showerhead was placed in a very weird position and the water from the showerhead just barely trickled out. Great bistro with good sized meals at reasonable prices. The apartment was nice. Definitely to be recommended for a visit to Canberra, which is an intriguing city.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Medina Classic Canberra. The staff were excellent. Staff very very friendly and helpful. ***y more people would return ***y more times if they could find places to stay which represented at least equal value to those found in the rest of the country.

Good value for money. Always try to stay here when I'm in Canberra. Close enough to the action without the $$$. Not top star but more than liveable. Bathrooms are a little dated. Try to get a room away from Giles St as I find traffic noise can wake you in the night.
J. f.
Average. The Wifi was terrible, and there's next to no (usable) complimentary wifi, which is usually a thing in almost any hotel and hostel these days. Paid wifi is also too expensive for its average connection. Pools were nice though, although both are non-heated and the sauna was out of service when I was there. Otherwise, everything else was up to standard largely
A. R.
Medina is well located between Kingston and Manuka, walking distance to both. The apartment we stayed at was clean and recently renovated. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be the limited wifi availability. Overall a very pleasant experience.
N. S.
Good location to stay. The apartments are great. Stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Have an interesting concept shower over bath. Would have been great it was just a shower which is easy to get in.
T. B.
The apartment was clean except for 1 empty stubby left on the balcony table. Well appointed with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. A short walk to an extensive range of restaurants.
T. M.
The clothers washer/dryer combined was a joke it took all day to just get a load of washing to wash and dry. In simple terms the room was tired and needs a good make over. Stay was somewhat tainted by a all girls sporting group who created noise until 10:30pm which was annoying.
E.
Great apartment. Comfortable and mostly clean in general but relies on guests washing dishes and utensils and many were greasy or dirty. Great location. Great shops and restaurants nearby.
A. H.
Amazing views, pub down the road near everything and was easy to get in and out of the hotel, we also went to threadbo because the receptionist requested it and we had a ball
R. A.
Its OK , needs a renovation to the rooms especially the bathrooms, mould on doors of shower/bathtub. Mould on tiles in bathroom areas. The pull out beds are only good for a child aged 12 or under as the springs hit the floor when you sit on it .
Everything else was ok .

Looks daggy on the outside although it is good on the inside. Good service. It was my grandmothers birthday so they brought her flowers and recommend restaurants. They have a heated and out door pool.
N. M.
Great rooms, all that you need. But did need to hire DVD player at minimal charge for the stay. Very central to everything. Would definitely come back.
R.
Location was 10 mins from city centre, apartment was clean, spacious. Customer service was A1. 2 pools. I will definitely stay there again
T. M.
The bedroom table lamps where the power sockets lay bare are unfortunately bad for charging anything. Room was bit small. After checking in I was told my room number and when going to my room I realised that it would be a bit impossible to do that with my son's stroller.

We were upgraded to a three bedroom. The heating could have been better the airconditoiner was struggling to keep the unit warm.
D. H.
Reception staff were beautiful, so helpful and the warm greetings were wonderful. Apartment was well appointed and had everything needed.
C. S.
Very small television. Recently renovated and in good condition, bed sheets slightly torn and stained. Bathroom very good. Nice kitchen and dining table.
T. M.
How about the cockroach that came out of the sugar/ coffee container the morning we were leaving. Coles in ***uka is a cheaper option. Subject to the sort of deal you are able to get, I can see it being a good option for a longer family stay in the nation's capital.
C. S.
Top notch.. indoor pool, outdoor pool. 2br apartment we stayed in had king beds, renovated kitchen and bathroom. Great quiet outlook.. we'll be back.
D. a. K. H.
Excellent service from staff. Fantastic rooms with great amenities. Two pools and a Spa.and Sauna. Close to Kingston and Manuka shop's. Has sone maintenance issue's
J. A.
Service is really good we arrived 2 hours early from adelaide and they let us in. The only thing i would advise is to check your windows because we were on ground level and all of our windows were unlocked
A. N.
Carrying luggages through the steps is painful
A. K.
Great spot to stay in Canberra. Close to Kingston foreshore and most attractions.
T. M.
I am a bit slow to post this time as we stayed back in July but was just looking to book again and then realised I forgot to post a review for our previous stay. The receptionist was on a personal call at the time that we reported that our door keys didn't work. There was action taken but it was suggested by us not staff.
T. O.
Absolute wonderful place. The staff were so helpful. Will be staying there again soon..The manager Arna was lovely.
P. T.

A. E.
Visited here just to hire some bikes .. there was enough for 2 families and the kids bikes were free and almost new.. a lovely day cycling round the lake to the sailing club for lunch
F. D.
Pretty good. Great location. Rooms are comfortable. Bit disappointed that they place restrictions on internet use

G. B.
Only early in the week but so far so good. Pool and spa has been amazing
A. M.
Friendly staff and renovated recently but the heating system is not the equal of a Canberra Winter (or even a Canberra Spring).
E. B.
Clean, nicely arranged - both indoor and outdoor pools.
A. S.
Good place, stayed for work. Nice room but parking is terrible.
