G. D.A great place to stay - clean, cosy, well appointed. We opted for a two bedroom unit and it was excellent.
The management is helpful and friendly.
Would definitely stay there again.
J. H.Comfy bed, appliances all working but pretty basic with only paper cups for tea/coffee. No glasses or teaspoons. With no food options or room service it was tricky working out how to consume purchased food if you didn't want to eat out.

g. d.Great location, very quiet but no room cleaning while there for a 3 night stay was disappointing as using covid as the excuse. Hopefully things change by the time we have to stay again.
R. B.Good value for money. An older hotel that's been refurbished. Rooms are a little dated but comfortable and clean. Breakfast is excellent, some of the best I've had. Children 12 and under get breakfast at half price! That is such a great idea as I get really annoyed with those motels that charge full price for kids that eat less than half what an adult does. I would definitely come back to this motel but will book directly next time as I now know motels have to pay large ransom like fees to the online booking agents. I suggest people get their price online but then call the motel directly with that price.
The only thing I would say is that management investigate the noisy motor running at night which seems to be coming from the kitchen. Perhaps the cool room?
The other great thing was it's only walking distance to a major shopping centre and descent restaurants.
Overall we were very happy with our stay.
G. T.We bought a five night package that included a hot breakfast; this proved worthwhile. Friendly chats with room & kitchen staff made for a nice personal touch. Our room was basic, but comfortable. Breakfast was always good, complete with GF bread, essential for us.
B. K.My wife and I with our 4 kids stayed here, along with my parents. Rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Great prices. They have a nice gym and spa. Staff deserve a congratulations, Trish was amazingly helpful and friendly, making us feel comfortable and at home there. The kids enjoyed it and everyone was happy. Whenever we're in Canberra, this is the place I'm staying. Highly recommended!

The staff is really good really professional they really friendly and helpful, The rooms were really well organized and cleaned. T. M.We had the best sleep ever as the hotel is in a very quiet area. Room, breakfast and the friendly staff. I used the fitness room almost every day and indulged in your daily hearty breakfasts. The buffet breakfast was sufficient. Ordered room service of Caesar salad and fresh fruit salad for dinner.

K. O.Has everything you need. Rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable. I was lucky enough to get a room with a bath tub! A short stroll to a shopping centre for anything you need, lots of wildlife around too. Breakfasts options are incredible. A couple outdoor areas to relax as well. The gym is well equipped though most of the dumbells are too heavy for me (only 2 sets under 10kg).
T. M.Enjoyed my stay here. They have a weird system where they take your credit card details but don't charge it at the time of booking but charge you at check in. I'm unsure why this would be the process. Nice, tidy foyer, with helpful staff. They also have a buffet service and alot of parking at the rear

T. M.The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Guess what we found, A black spider (not a hunts***)while picking up a hotel towel. As we checked in on a Sunday, the restaurant was not open and we were directed to the Viking Club next door. Breakfast was a simple full buffet with the usual fare.

A family member got married here and the staff truely went above and beyond to make the event magical. Everyone we encountered on staff is lovely.
If you are very lucky you can see Kangaroos from the carpark in the evening.

K. A.Stayed here for work a few times before, shower taps are set to scald or freeze, with a very miniscule point of tolerable temperature. Other than that, rooms are clean and well serviced this time around, good tvs, comfy bed, decent temp heater, not too noisy. Definitely stayed in a hell of a lot worse.

A few of the rooms don't have external windows (looking out to the internal breakfast area instead) so if you're particular about that sort of thing, ask to be assigned a different room.
They serve breakfast but can't speak to the quality since I didn't have any.

T. M.As a business traveller this place had everything that I wanted. Honestly you get what you pay for at the Alpha. I was extremely impressed by the professional courtesy of the staff. Staff were very accommodating and promptly arranged for a microwave to be set up in our room on request.
A. v. N.The room was basic but clean although the bathroom could do with a bit of a spruce up (grout was grubby and shower curtain had seen better days). Unfortunately, the dining room was not open on either of the 2 nights I stayed - fortunately there is an RSL right next door so did not have to hunt far for dinner. It is what it is for the price.
E. K.Good family sized rooms. Service was minimal, but probably due to the COVID. Would recommend if planning to go to Corin Forest. Just 25 min away.
T. M.I arrived to this hotel and was happy with the hotel however a few things have really disappointed me worth this stay. ***aged to get a Seniors deal which included breakfast at a very competitive price. Lucky we did pick up the towel provided by the hotel carefully so spider did not bit us.

We stayed here on a drive from Brisbane to Melbourne, we loved it, it was so quiet and relaxing, the room very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
J. A.Historically I had stayed here when it was called the country comfort... It wasn't great then. Arriving to then see it had been updated I was somewhat relieved. My night sleep was OK. But there was a problem with moths in the room.
B. L.Family rooms are half the size of that shown on the hotel's web site (no couch, no table - no room for either, just the beds and a couple of small side-tables). Apart from that, the hotel's fine - clean, comfy beds, very good free wifi, and the staff were very helpful.
A. T.Great stay, soft bed, quiet place. Food was nice. Online booking showed a different price to what I actually had to pay but it was still reasonable at 75ish each a night. Loved the bed. TV was a small crt with about 8 channels. NOT A HEATED POOL indoor pool yes and next to it is a heated spa. Pay wifi isn't cheap or the movies on demand. Would stay there again.

The hotel itself is functional as it is not here for tourists but more for the workers in the government agencies withing Greenway
