J. B.Room was tidy, and reception staff were friendly. The furniture looks quite dated and had lots of scuff marks, water marks, etc. I was a little unsure about sitting on the lounge as it looked .... well used , and had a bit of a funky smell. My room was right by a stairwell and along a main thoroughfare but was surprisingly quiet inside, and I slept well. Actually woke up to the sound of cockatoos across the road in the park which was pretty nice. Free, secure parking was a huge bonus that made life so much easier than some of the other options in the city.
J. W.Stayed 3 nights, the outward presentation of the complex exceeded the average quality of the experience. Room was decently sized, but the towels had some visually dirty black spots, and the cover on the single bed had mould spots. There is no room service on the weekend (and callouts require a fee) - which is extremely unfortunate as we arrived late Friday and had a blocked toilet after the first use. Location is about 10 min walk from groceries and eateries, which is nice.

P. G.Excellent location - 10 minutes from everything we did. Very good hotel pool and gym which was all to ourselves when we used them. The 2 bed apartment room was a good size for our family of 4 and comfortable. However, it was not clean - we had to wash dishes before using them and it needed a vacuum. Hairs and crums. We even found previous occupants rubbish. The "King" bed was 2 singles pushed together. The kitchen had very meagre supplies but is called a "kitchenette" so probably should have expected that. The curtain came off its rails and is very budget. The toilet roll holder came out of the wall. The toilet paper is one ply. The most inconvenient thing was that we couldn't use the carpark so had to lug our luggage one block to the room. With a portable cot and kids things that sucked. The place was being painted from grey and sandy beige to another grey and beige and they kept the carpark closed from 9 to 5. Bad idea. It meant you could get your car stuck (which we did as we came back after 5 and thought it was done as the gates were open and the staff said it might only take a day, only to have it closed again the next day at 9) However that is likely not going to happen for your stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the room size, pool and location will have us back again. We will just bring more kitchen things and I won't forget my pillow.
L. W.We stayed here for two nights, accommodation is decent, beds are comfy but the dishes, cups and cutlery are not clean, recommend rinse and wash with hot boiled water. Also no housekeeping (ie. Empty our bins) but they came in and tidy the room. Overall good enough for quick weekend getaway, super plus that there is good food just around the corner.
M. D.The rooms were spacious however they need a deep clean. Very good location, close to Woolies and restaurants. Upon arrival the receptionist wasn’t very welcoming and was quiet rude. Overall good stay.
E.Great value. Two bedroom apartment had a good layout. Comfortable bed. Parts of the apartment could do we an update but no complaints for the price paid.
P. T.Very well eqipped apartments perfect for large families or small groups. (Our group used the 3 bedroom appt with the connecting 'spa' apartment which gave us 4 bedrooms.) Good location close to Dickson shops and the EPIC exhibition centre. Furnishing are showing their age but everything was clean and working. Staff were frfiendly and helpful.
L. C.I understand it’s a 3 star hotel and I was surprised how nice our room was, we had the 2 bedroom apartment both rooms had it’s own bathroom and the main room had a TV and a spa tub, it had a basic kitchen with a dishwasher it fitted five adults comfortably for 5 nights
J. M.Reported water leaking from shower/toilet into bedroom & only solution was to given more towels - that strange reaction also included more towels the next day. Apparently having plenty of towels is better than fixing the source of the leak!

J. B.I stayed at Canberra Parklands for the first portion of my covid quarantine. I found the room to be very comfortable, staff were consistently courteous and obliging and the the porch at the back of the room was very private.
I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to stay in a hotel with full cooking and entertainment facilities.

D. N.Such a great spot. close to Wollies & bottle shop. Close to Tram. Great staff ( Matt) very obliging & helped carry bags to room etc. Rooms were clean . Beds were super comfy with good pillows. Lots of nice little areas to sit outside. Good warm pool. Be going back for sure.
A. B.One of Canberra is hidden gems! Very quiet, very friendly staff and incredibly clean. The rooms are large and well appointed, the beds very comfy.
Very close to amazing restaurants and only about 15 minutes drive from the centre.
Make sure you book a cab in advance if you’re travelling in peak hour though!

G. F.Fantastic reception staff, happy to help with anything!! However the room was not the cleanest, with dirty tissues, a lighter and other rubbish under the bed and behind furniture. The bathroom was also quite dirty with mold in the shower and the soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower covered in scum and grit.
Parking is free, however it is limited. So if you miss out on their underground parking, good luck finding some somewhere to park for the night. I think this is guests in some apartments, taking up more than one space.
There is also a large construction site next door currently. But this didn't effect our stay.
Hopefully these issues will be resolved in their current upgrade to facilities.
W. T.Nice clean rooms. Very handy and close to everything in Dickson, were able to walk over to the pubs/restaurants of a night and were only approx 10min from everything in Canberra. Would highly recommend!

L. L.We stayed in room 202 for one night. It is a three bedroom apartment at the front left side of the complex, upstairs. It has a full kitchen, living area, spacious bathroom with full laundry. Each bedroom can be configured as two single beds or one king bed. They asked us a few days before how we would like it configured.
The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit rundown. The towels and sheets were good quality and clean. The only downside for me was the beds are too firm for me.
The location of this hotel is in a relatively quiet area. There is a park across the road, a church on one side and a vacant block on the other. From the end of Hawdon Place there is a tree-lined walk to the local shopping area. We walked there in less than 10 minutes and had a nice Vietnamese dinner at Pho Phu Quoc.
G.The rooms and the external areas are not as new as they look on the website. The whole place needs some refurbishment.
Cleaning standard was okay and check in process smooth.
However, on the website it wasn't specified that the undercover parking had a clearance of 2.1 mt so we could not park out Ute (which was loaded with some furniture).
A. K.I was visited Canberra with 2 friends for another friend's birthday, so we needed an easy place to stay, relatively nereby to his place. I paid for the hotel ahead of time using Expedia. What was great about our stay was it was extremely easy. Check in was easy. They didn't even take a deposit! There was nothing useless in the fridge to tempt you. The room was very clean and spacious. We each had a decent bed, and lots of power points near our beds. It was exactly what we wanted.

After trying 9 hotels in canberra, needing one with an accessible bathroom that would accommodate 4 people... Not just 2 .. we finally found this place willing to
help And at $800 cheaper than the novatel. Yes the furniture is a little dated as I was told on booking but who cares it has all you need and being serviced every single day is one of the cleanest places I have stayed in. The courtyard is beautiful and looks well maintained. Couldn't find a more accommodating host than Mary. Highly recommend this place if you need wheelchair accessible room for a family especially.
Location was close to shops and eaterys and generally about a 10 to 15 minute drive to everything touristy.
H. M.The room is nice and spacious enough. The staff are good and the value is great! The pool, Wi-Fi and free parking are absolute plusses. The location is ok also. There are a couple of negatives, including the TV reception, which was poor. It was still on Analog, had bad graphics and only worked on SBS. The bathroom was also very cramped. A slight downside to the pool is it was strongly chlorinated, making our sensitive skin get sore and itchy. Also, the welcome book we got inside the room had a few spelling mistakes or typos. Overall, this hotel/motel was good.
M. H.Stalf we good, room was clean and well appointed. Yes as some other reviews say, the room is dated but it is nice to be in a apartment instead of a hotel room. Bed and linen are good, reverse cycle air conditioning, door locks etc all were perfect.
I. N.Well located, about 7 minutes drive from city centre. Friendly staff and undercover parking available. I stayed with my Wife and 16 month old son. They didn't organise the cot as they said they would but the young lady at reception soon brought it to our room which was great. The room was mostly organised, it was advertised as a king bed when in fact it was 2 singles pushed together which of course you can feel when you lay on it. The bathroom had a wet/dirty face washer left in the shower from previous occupants. There was some lack of detail with the finer touches as well i.e. A room for 3 people had 3 mugs, 4 water glasses and 1 wine glass. The beds were clean and made well. Realising we had forgot to bring toothpaste I went to reception to ask as there was none in the rooms to which they said they don't have any and there is a Woolworths close by. We left for the day and on return there was a note saying that due to the amount of personal items on the bed they were unable to make the bed up (there was our pyjamas and a hair straightener) that's fair enough though. They didn't clean any of the room though, no vacuum and bathroom wasn't cleaned. They did leave a fresh towel and toilet paper roll. All in all I wouldn't stay there again.
D. L.Very comfortable and welcoming for the price. Room was clean - fairly basic, but as was expected. Overall we'd definitely stay here again and the spa was superb. Super friendly staff and happy to help.
B. D.Stayed for 5 weeks here for work. Rooms are small, and have definitely got a bit of wear. Bed is comfortable enough. There was no oven or clothes dryer in the room, coin dryers are on the ground floor though. Wifi is almost unusable in the rooms, and certain sites are blocked from access. Location is good, 10min drive to city, 15mins to airport, shops and restaurants in walking distance. I probably wouldn't be that pleased with it if I was paying out of my own pocket.

For some reason there is only an air conditioning unit in the front room with nothing bring in the bedroom which has lead to some chilly mornings.
Kitchen has suitable amenities with a microwave, toaster, kettle, and cook top.
The bathroom is large but the shower is tiny.

b. p.We stay here every few months as we work in Canberra sometimes. Very clean and comfortable rooms that cater to all your needs. Great security, friendly helpful staff and loads of peace and quiet. Close to everything you need.
D. N.Parklands was a nice, secure and comfortable place to stay overnight for us as we were driving between states.
The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept on aside from my Tempur at home.
Their secure underground parking was greatly appreciated as we were travelling in our own car.
The courtyard garden was pretty and safe enough for my 2yo son to freely wander around.
Our encounter with staff was outstanding. Simone was exceptional. She was helpful with local information and she was clear in delivery. Simone personally looked for my hubbys missing wallet (after we checked out) which we eventually found 8 hours later. The small effort she put in to help us was as huge thing for us!

A. M.My stay got off to a rocky start: my check in was hijacked by an elderly woman hellbent on making the young receptionist's life hell. The fact that I was left standing in the background like a giant gooseberry was clearly deemed irrelevant. To be truthful, I don't think my presence warranted much concern. She had all the time All over a 1.5% credit card surcharge. uite pleasant gardens & buildings

B. J.Greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff member. On first impression the room was clean and spacious. However, the room was quite old and looked it. Areas of rust/water damage in the bathroom. Kitchen cupboards quite haphazard. All this is quite forgiveable. However, even though the doona was covered with a clean white cover, the doona itself was clearly dirty and pilled. The cover was like a sheet rather than a doona cover and so in the night it moved allowing me to see the doona itself. I wasn't impressed. The Hotel can't help construction going on next door, but a heads up that it was happening would allow a visitor to decide if they were prepared to put up with the construction noise. Similarly, the painting of the hotel exterior and the problem with having to have one's care out of the park before 9.00am should have been explained when the booking was being made, not on arrival when one's payment has already been processed.
V. J.We went down with my family as we needed to attend some administrative work in ACT. Very friendly and helpful staff as we had a toddler with us. They organised porta cot for us,which was very clean and even looked like new. Place has a pool ,which was a massive help in the raining weather to entertain our daughter.
Perfect location to the park and shops. When we were originally booking there was only 1 bedroom apartment available, staff took note of me needing a 2 bedroom, so us and toddler get get a good sleep. They rang me day prior saying that got last minute cancellation. Room was PERFECT for our needs with 2 rooms,2 bathroom and washing machine, including free parking and wifi!!! For any family with kids this is a must have to surrvive LOL. Thank you ,we enjoyed our stay.
A. N.It was not clear that housekeeping is not available on weekends. We did not include breakfast during our stay because there is no cooked breakfasts on weekends.

There is a safety hazard: there is no lighting in the public area on the second floor at night, it is dark, and there is a risk of falling into the stairs downstairs from the passage on the right hand side of the elevator after leaving the elevator. My friend, get out of the elevator first, and wait for us to pick up luggage from the elevator, stand at the door of the elevator, because the sky is dark and the lighting at the elevator door fails (8pm)

Not only is there no light outside the elevator door, and there is no lighting in the public areas on the second floor of the hotel, which is not very convenient for guests staying in the hotel at night. Friendly staff, more parking spaces, quiet accommodation, clean rooms, the hotel has only two floors, elevator is provided, very convenient for guests, this is rare in other hotels, except the mattress is too soft, overall feel good.
Existing hidden dangers need to be improved: if the elevator on the second floor accidentally makes a mistake after exiting the elevator, it will risk falling from the right-hand side of the elevator into the downstairs. After my friend got out of the elevator, he stood beside the elevator and waited for luggage, because the sky was dark and the lights at the elevator door failed.
Almost crashed into the stairs. We found that not only there are no lights outside the elevator, and there is no lighting in the public areas on the second floor of the hotel, which is not very convenient for guests staying in the hotel at night. It was 8pm in the evening.

员工友善，停车位足够，住宿安静，房间清洁 ，虽然只有两层，但是有电梯，比较方便住客，这在其它酒店是不多见的。房间内设施除了床垫太软，总体感觉不错。
存在一个安全隐患：晚上二层公共区没有照明灯，漆黑一片，出电梯后，稍有不慎，会从电梯右手边通道，坠入楼下阶梯的风险。我的朋友，先出电梯，等待我们从电梯往外拿行李时，站在电梯门口，因为天色已黑，电梯口的照明灯失灵（8pm）
