B. D.Checking in was a bit of an adventure. Took about 2 hours for our room to be ready past check in time. Was notified promptly via phone when it was ready.
Had a couple of issues with the room when we arrived. Room was booked for 2 adults and 2 kids. Room contained 2 towels and was missing a couple other items. Asked for an additional set of linens for the spare bed and received one sheet. Took 2 additional calls to get the required options including 2 visits to the front desk.
Nearby was Glebe park which is worth the daily walk or kids playground. Picnic area also included umbrellas and tables to enjoy the fresh air,
The pool area was a bit of a mess without any staff checking on it for cleanliness while were in attendance. Towels weren’t available either.
Breakfast was adequate. Buffet with a couple of options like made to order eggs, meat, pastries, cereal, toast, pancakes, waffles, coffee, tea and juice. It suited us for our needs mainly due to the acceptability in the early mornings. Staff was great and very attentive.
S. M.Restaurant has a good atmosphere, food is very good.. buffet breakfast could do with some wipes for this Covid era, and the warmers could be turned up a bit… but come dinner time the steak and pork belly were great.
Attentive staff, but a long queue at checkin with a trainee on point - until the manager got staff out of the office to open up the other PCs. There are signs everywhere about their upgrading and maintenance, including the out of service car park lift… and they do offer concierge to assist with luggage.
D. S.Went to the restaurant for dine-in a month ago. I was too early and the kitchen was not open yet but the General Manager and restaurant manager were kind enough to have me seated and meet my requirements. This shows that the staff really cares about customer satisfaction and not in the business just for profit. Being a hotelier myself i know how hard and annoying it can be sometimes.
So many guests in front of me broke the rule by entering from right instead of left stairs even though it was written on the board that right side stairs were for exit, but still the staff was calm about it and happy to assist them.
Thanks a lot to the staff again for their extra effort.

Having 2x Tesla Destination Chargers and 1x 3-phase 32A power sockets across 3 EV charging spots is just great! H. C.I stayed many hotels including a few of Crowne Plaza. I honestly am very disappointed by the experience this time. Since we are 5 of us, it is often hard to get a room to stay. Last year and yr before, I called directly to the hotel if we could stay, they refused due to fire related rule etc. This time I could book over the apps so we stayed for a night. When I visited they could not find my booking and advised straight away-I am sorry but seems you didn't book with us. After then she found the my details but couldn't find my membership. I found membership number, tried email, phone no buy she couldn't find it. She even asked if I stayed with them too long ago which I said it only has been 6mth since we stayed in Adelaide crown plaza. Then the system didn't accept my credit card for 25 dollars of bond. I was quite frustrated by then but she then advised due to my membership grade, I didn't have to pay the bond. When we arrived in front of the room, there was a bunch of plates, assuming previous guest left out after eating, was still sitting on it. We checked in after 4pm so there was plenty of time but yet it was not removed.
It was a rainy day, I quickly had to visit shops nearby so I borrowed an umbrella from the concierge. I walked out a bit and it started rain so I opened the umbrella and yes it was broken one🙄 I had to return to hotel to exchange to another one.. what a waste of my time so far..
We stayed ok, pool wasn't as good as expected but gym was OK to use. Sauna was different experience for my young kids. Lots of tourists with kids were running around but was all good. Bed was comfortable bathroom was clean.
Next day when we went for breakfast, again the guy checked our room number and said I am sorry it looks like you didn't include breakfast. 🤯 Again!! Yes I included and I certainly can see in my booking confirmation. Another staff came and checked us in with no problem. Food was OK except they delivered all our eggs twice. Wonder why. We asked latte and what we received was cappuccino. I asked if a dessert has walnuts since my girl is anaphylaxis and she couldn't answer nor good at English so had to bring another staff. Another staff advised he will ask and come back but he never returned.
Little little things make people feel satisfied or disappointed. Majority aren't big things but when it happens one after another, I must question if this is lack of training or systemically failed. I heard sorry more than 10 times during the breakfast which isn't pleasant.

T.Consistently high standard of service. Whenever on business or Hollidays in Canberra, I always choose Crowne Plaza. Staff are friendly and location is excellent. City centre and restaurants within walking distance. Area is very safe at night as well.
