A. a. O. L.Loved it, we asked for a covid safe environment and they were able to provide us with a floor with minimal guests. The breakfast was great! Especially the pancakes the chef made. Really the reviews I was expecting the worse, if you've accepted that the breakfast area is inside the club then it's fine. Loved the fact that we get to do our laundry for free too! This hotel could outshine some of Sydney’s best offerings. It’s got all the features you’d expect within the room besides things like a pool, arcade, roof top etc..
The rooms fancy and super clean, aircons great and above all it was easy to check in and check out.
I would definitely stay here again.
Ps: I couldn’t get the chrome cast working…

N. M.Low rating because they charged me for a bottle of water. I stayed for 2 nights and they charged me for 1 bottle of water. haha bit a joke really.. You pay $220 a night and dont even receive a complimentary $1 bottle of water.. Really nice room though!

The rooms, and particularly the bathrooms, are beautifully done and very comfortable. Staff are all warm and welcoming, the parking is secure and under cover, and you're a short drive away from both the wineries up north and the incredible driving and scenic routes to the west. And the price is just exceptional value.
This is now my go-to place for any stays in the region.
C. S.Stayed overnight. I cannot fault the room where we stayed.
The room was huge and clean. The toilet was very clean.
The bed and pillows was great and comfortable.
The only downside for me was that the aircon was not cold enough even if I have set it out to 18degrees.
Overall, it is good value for money.
And if I have to come back to ACT, this is definitely my hotel to stay.

P. K.This is such a great place to stay in Belconenn, or even Canberra as a whole. The rooms are huge and so clean, it feels 5 star. The fridge is well stocked and the hot water is divine on those cold days...And location is perfect, next door is the Chargrilled Eatery where the food is plentiful and tasty. The Labor Club is next door to the Eatery and Westfield Shopping Centre is a 5 min walk. And best of all the price is so reasonable, I was surprised to pay $120 per night on a Saturday and Sunday night, and the staff are extremely kind and professional. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here next time in Canberra. Thank you Mecure Belconnen.

Parking is very poorly displayed. Two lifts seem to contradict each other. Different words would clarify which lift to use
and when. A big Mecure sign on the wall or floor of the Parking section.
One lift control panel does not tell user where the reception or lobby is located. The other does.
Rooms are great except for the fluctuating water temperature.

Obviously due to covid the breakfast buffet isn’t available. You get access to the cold breakfast and then select which meal you’d like. Food was nice.
The restaurant however was horrible. Lacked atmosphere, needs a renovation. The vibe for breakfast was just not nice.

C. S.We enjoyed a two night stay and found the hotel was an easy distance to visit all the sights if Canberra as we were driving. Probably a little less convenient if you are relying on public transport.
N. A.From the moment you arrive there is this understated class, the subtle greetings, warm and friendly service to the ultra chic, clean and modern times with views of the water and urban dwellings. The benefit of a club adjourned to the hotel is a bonus along with supermarket shopping and a stone's through away Westfield mall. Mercure Belconnen has it all. A great experience all around!

M.newly built hotel , good facility , room was big and clean , great location but service wasn't good enough , below average , a lot for the team to improve and learn . staff were not rude but not friendly tho .
Blue and gold colour scehme throughout hotel from lobby , carpet to guest room , even the cushion and curtin to match the design language . .Stayed there for one night , first impression was good , it was easy to find and drop off point on the door step , it was easy for guests to check in rather than find parking and visit reception .
Drawbacks :
-We booked a standard queen room and the booking was confirmed almost one month ahead , we were given an accessible room because it was fully booked on the day we arrived . accessible room is designed for physically chanllenged guest with lowered sink in bathroom and bigger bathroom but no division in bathroom , after shower floor was wet and slippery .
-1.3% credit card surchanges but no one mentioned it and I asked the general manager he said very common .
-Air conditioning was so loud , too noisy (video attached)
-Pillows not comfortable (to my personal liking)
can't fault the facility consider the price , it was good for a $100 hotel but not good enough as a Mercure .

F. B.A good hotel to stay in with spacious room! Car parking within the hotel was an added bonus. The Grilled Cafe next to hotel opens from 0600am serves B/L/D and you can also dine for L and D at The Labor Club attached to the hotel. Easy drive to places of interest. We had a relaxing stay and thank you to your Front Office personnel, Jacky, whose warm personality and friendliness added to our wonderful time in Canberra.
D. H.New, modern, clean, very comfortable, atmosphere a little sterile. When the restaurant is finished it will be excellent and get 4 stars. Friendly accommodating staff. Handy to everything I needed, eg food and groceries. The gym could be improved. Overall good. I will be back.
O. R.New hotel with convenient parking and attached to the Labor Club. No Accor Plus dining benefit for now but there's a decent eatery that connects to the lobby.
For the record we did get housekeeping service even on a weekend. Staff are friendly and efficient.

K. C.This hotel is brand new (opened 13 Feb 2020) and we were quite possibly the first guests in the room. Cherry was informative and an absolute pleasure. The room is massive and very thoughtful, it was amazingly clean, I liked the qi wireless charger by the bed and the numerous USB ports - there was nothing that felt out of place with the hotel. The parking is secured (on level 4 of the building - so you use the same lift) and is $10 for overnight parking with entry in and out included. As an Accor elite, the welcome drinks are in the Labor club (open till 2am) it's nice and new, the welcome waters are my frankling. The tea selection is Dilmah exceptional, which I really liked, this will be my preferred hotel when staying in Canberra.
