Perfect for a city stay where you aren't in the room much or at all. The rooms are very dark (I suppose this shouldn't be surprising given the name of the hotel). It's a very clever design where the apartments wrap around the hotel, however they get all the light, whereas the hotel rooms only look out into an internal courtyard. The location is excellent, near to bars & restaurants and within a quick scooter ride to the city.

Pros: easy check in, lovely indoor swimming pool, complimentary mini bar (beer, red wine, white wine, soft drink, sprinkling water, nuts and cookie. It will be refilled daily). Modern design. Cons: the breakfast is very disappointed. Just simply a sourdough toast, scramble egg and a sausage. No plating at all. It comes with two drinks. We have been charged AUD30 pp included in the room charge. Definitely not worth it. We used to staying at Hyatt when we travel to Canberra. They out perform Midnight Hotel in terms of staff, breakfast and hotel management.

Comfortable room though very dismal. A spot of colour somewhere would really help. Very dark though and window half blacked out. As EVERYTHING in this hotel is black, I suppose this suits. Had a wonderful stay at the Autograph Hotel. With three kids and two lounge rooms we were quite comfortable. A huge plus was the free bar. The beautiful bottle of Riesling hit the spot at the end of a long day carting three kids to various tourist spots. Kids enjoyed their soft drink and cookies too. The staff were very attentive. This was our first stay at the Midnight brand. With the dark decor in the corridors & rooms, there is an expectant feel & vibe. The room design is excellent with all the expected amenity of a Marriott hotel. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Canberra.

Definitely one of the better hotels in Canberra. More on the pricey side, but you certainly get what you're paying for. The room was spacious, modern and had everything I needed. Ironing board, desk space, sofa, bathroom amenities, etc. Aircon, heating, fan; all in the one system. Wifi that's easy to access along with the ability to stream anything from your phone to the TV. Bathroom was a decent size with a large shower, and while the sliding glass door was fancy, it didn't exactly offer the best soundproofing for the sake of privacy. Room service was also excellent and on time (especially for a Sunday morning). However, the items on the menu were somewhat limited and expensive - which I guess is to be expected though. My only gripe was the mini fridge. While we had the option to have the drinks inside for free which was awesome and definitely a first for me, it was quite loud. There were a few times where I was woken up by it going through it's cycle of making noise. Those are only a few minor issues and overall, this is a great spot with good rooms and close by to a number of great eateries in Braddon, only a few metres from the lightrail and maybe 10 minutes walk away from the city center.

The bar/restaurant menu offers a variety of foods and beverages. However, should it include also a range of mock tails, it would better meet the needs of a wider numbers of customers. But overall its a great place to spend time in.

I booked this hotel because of all the five star reviews. It was ok. Good points were the modern rooms, pool, free mini bar (!). Downsides: the hotel is quite dark (accentuated by the decor) and the breakfast was underwhelming and expensive. Really liked the sleek modern feel of Midnight Hotel, right in the heart of Canberra (shopping/food side). Opened since Sep 2019, so hotel still has a newish feel. Booked adjoining rooms so family of four. Clean, no frills and modern finish. Beds were comfortable and room was decent sized. No bathtubs (hooray!). Minibars are complimentary for elite members, but mine wasn't stocked despite being a Platinum Bonvoy. Breakfast was only free for two even though I had booked two persons per room (2 adults, 2 kids). They used the phrase "cost cutting" a few times to explain this and the unstocked minibars. Breakfast was excellent, having a pool was nice and the gym looked unused. Overall a great stay. Oliver at reception was excellent, and parking can be validated at $15/day. Will definitely come back again.

Unfortunately my partner and I found our stay at midnight quite underwhelming. It’s nice and new but cheap. Our room was dark with one small window facing the inner court yard so virtually no natural light. Amenities are basic. No robes, indoor pool was freezing, complementary mini bar was two bottles of water. When I asked reception why there was no beer or wine as explained in the in room information booklet they told me it was due to them currently doing it tough due to COVID....it’s no like we we’re staying there for free. There’s so many great hotels in Canberra within this location that I’d recommend staying instead.

Terrific get away! Rooms were very luxurious and clean, so many nice touches throughout the room. Free mini bar and Nespresso coffee machine were a great bonus. Pool, sauna and gym were terrific too. Everything was brilliant except for the service. No name tags were missing which was perplexing but understandable when concierge was rude and obnoxious. I recommend name tags to identify outstanding service but also to identify the staff who were rude, lazy and made the stay uncomfortable.

Adored staying in the Midnight Suite for my 40th birthday. We enjoyed VIP treatment for the whole weekend. Valet parking, delicious and generous room service breakfast. Great location for restaurants and bars! Friendly staff, modern rooms, complementary mini bar! Wine, beer, snack and glass bottled water! Swimming pool and gym are a bit small but we didn’t need them this time. We will stay there again for sure.

Lovely hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff. Arrived late and was greeted by smiling staff who checked me in straight away. Room was immaculate, big comfortable bed and pillows, I felt very spoilt. The only issue was the fridge which was really noisy.

Midnight Hotel was superior to any other hotel/motel we’ve ever stayed at. It was beautifully designed, well maintained, clean, comfortable and spacious with extra little perks that we didn’t expect. Staff were happy and friendly too. Fantastic value for money compared to other hotels. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice new hotel. Rooms are on the smaller size but it's fine. Rooms need a desk for business travel but might be an issue with the room size. Presently mini bar is included which is a bonus. Great staff and very friendly.

The Midnight Hotel Canberra was a wonderful find in Canberra - from its lovely decor, comfy beds, helpful staff and yummy breakfast (including barista coffee). Our party of 4 who had two adjoining rooms would thoroughly recommend a stay.

New and elegant hotel. This is the first time I have stayed at this hotel. It's a mixture of apartments and hotel. Very friendly staff and the minbar is complementary, with local beer, red and white wine, with some snacks. The breakfast is great and it's alacarte only. Walking distance to most restaurant that are near. Great place to stay if you're in Canberra.

We had a great stay, the stuff was great, very helpful. If one thing I didn't like, were the pillows, maybe some variety. Other than that it was great.

As a business traveler, I am very seldom impressed by the customer service provided by most hotels, but from the moment I arrived until I left, I was tended to and cared for immaculately. I am particularly pleased by the impeccable service offered by Nasir! His outstanding and caring disposition was exemplary to say the least. A huge congratulations to you and your team.

overnight stay. convenient location to canberra centre. staff were friendly. short queue for check in. foyer shared with apartment block and restaurant so service desk fairly small and queue extended across entrance. check in efficient. got an upgrade for marriott gold. room size adequte. window faces inner apartment courtyard as mentioned in other reviews. wasnt an issue for us as we left early the next morning. ability to cast to tv from phone was very handy. free wifi and free minibar was nice. minibar had 2 bottles of voss water (1 sparkling 1 still) 2 beers 2 soft drinks 1 small bottle of white 1 small bottle of red, some nuts, a cookie and some dried apple. small bottle of hand sanitiser was also a nice touch.

We live regionally and travel to Canberra regularly. Midnight is our favourite because of the location, interior, complimentary mini bar and affordability.

Great stay with amazing onsite access to the Lite Nurse Clinic. I booked in for a skin treatment with Emma and it was amazing!! Do yourself a favor and book in when you stay at this hotel, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait to visit Emma annd her amazing clinic again!!

This hotel is modern, great facilities, excellent service and it has a great location, only a short walk away from business and leisure within the CBD.

The staff were so kind, polite and professional. The rooms are amazing, perfectly designed and the facilities were great. Great location! We will definitely be back.
