m. s.Mixed feelings, we stayed here for two nights for a short break with my family. Staff here are very friendly, location was excellent and beds were very comfortable. Although they seemed some what clean I did find numerous piece's of old chewing gum stuck to the doors frame of one bedroom and when going outside to the balcony, we found it too be very dusty and unusable which was disappointing for my children. The furniture in the lounge area is also old and starting to fall apart in places. Dining chairs are stained and dusty which is not what you expect for a motel. Kitchen is amazing and was very clean and accommodating loved the little dishwashing soap and dishwasher came in handy.
I would use them again but not if I wanted a luxury stay.
T. S.The evening receptionist is amazing. She deserves a raise. She fully accommodated all queries while booking and was extremely helpful for me and my wife, especially in a hard quarantine situation. I feel if proper guidelines for quarantine check in are put in place, this place is no less than a home away from home.

S. H.Great. Service room and location. Room clean. Linen clean although beds leave a little more comfert to be desired. Lift was great although you might have to change lifts to get from floors to basement.
R. D.The hotel is in a fantastic location next to restaurants and shops. The rooms are a bit dated, but they're functional, spacious, and great for the price. Our room had a couple of dirty towels and sheets when we arrived, but the manager went above and beyond to rectify the situation by obviously supplying us with new towels and linens, offering a refund of two nights, and leaving us chocolate and a bottle of wine. Can't beat the excellent service that we received for the price.
A. P.We stayed here for four nights, not as customers of Waldorf Canberra, but as customers of AIrbnb. The major differences were that the hotel didn't clean our room and we never spoke to reception. However we can judge the hotel on the facilities and condition of the building.
The building is getting a little old and tired, but everything worked for us the pool and spa was great. lifts were ample and quick, never had to wait more than a few seconds. The room was the same as the hotel, again a little dated but very comfortable. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, as the best part for us by a country mile was the close proximity to the city centre, literally 1 minutes walk to the shopping hub.
S. C.For the little price, you get plenty out of it. Excellent location, indoor heated swimming pool, gym even sauna. Our room was on the small side, but it had kitchen and in room laundry, which was really useful for us during our stay. The only issue we had was parking. They don't have enough parking spaces. And to make it worse, the spot was available for hotel guests this morning could become a private parking in the afternoon which is really confusing and frustrating.
A. K.I stay at Nesuto every time I visit Canberra, which is often enough. The hotel is very close to all the shops. The rooms are great and the staff is very helpful. I have stayed in multiple different rooms and they all had perfectly functioning kitchen including dishwasher. The bed is also really comfortable. All appartments including the studio are a comfortable size.
J. I.It wasn't a bad place to stay for a few nights, but it certainly wasn't one of the best. Air con was really noisy, and there's water noise from rooms next door. The staff were friendly though and it was very conveniently located near the National Convention Centre. If you like tea or coffee in your room...best to bring your own.
F. a.I always like coming back to The Waldorf Canberra Apartment Hotel. It is centrally located, fairly quiet now that the construction next door has stopped. The apartments are spacious and have everything one would need; kitchen, washing machine etc. Although not as fancy as other hotels nearby, the staff are always accommodating. The restaurant is decent with a major bus hub right outside.
A. Y.The Waldorf is clean with a modern feel to the room. It has a friendly 24hr staff.
Cons: elevator only services up to floor 7 (my room is floor 8), the "bouble" bed is 2 single beds and 2 single mattresses leaving it with a horrible ridge down the center.
Bottom line it is a lovely place, great for business trips perfect studio apartment at a great rate. But don't bring your partner.
V. P.Parking, though confirmed at booking, was not provided. The other parking they sent us to was closed. We were lucky to find street parking in relative proximity, but I would not count on it if you plan anything but sleepover. Wifi was not working. Otherwise facilities were ok, quite good for one night sleep.
s. h.Check on was great. I arrived very early and got my room. It is spacious and quite.
The only problem is that the internet nearly exists.

A.The hotel is a little dated inside, and could probably do with some renovation, but the room I had (room with an office) was a good size, and had a fully equipped I kitchen as well as washing facilities. The office was also a good size, but i found myself just working from the table in the main living area. You do get a bit of road noise at night, but guess it can't really be helped. I was pretty disappointed with the gym facilities, which were dated, in a pretty poor condition, and also only had one of each item of equipment. Staff were friendly, and the hotel was in a good location.
The big issue for me was the poor wifi; it would drop out fairly regularly and be hard to reconnect to. It was also slow and limited to 1GB per day, which seemed a lot but I used it surprisingly quickly (maybe background updates?). I ended up paying $30 for 8GB, which I didn't manage to fully use because the connection was so poor.
H. K.The location close to Canberra center enabled us to go grocery shopping on foot, great location. The bus from the airport stopped close to the hotel so no worries about that either. The free bus, culture loop, bus station is close for sightseeing.
The downside was depending on where you are in the apartment room, there was no wifi. I thought the wifi wasn’t working but after 2 days, found out the wifi was strong in one room and very weak or doesn’t reach at all in the other room. Another was the freezer was broke. We asked to fix it and the receptionist said someone will come but never came. Our ice cream fully melted.

Parking to check in was a night mare.
I damaged a rim on the car in all the road works.
Once we drove into the underground car park, there were limited parks availiable for us.
On checking into the room we dudnt have any view from the 5th floor, just a concrete jungle and roof tops.
The carpets and furniture were grubby and old .
The bed was good and everything was clean.
The shower was in the bath so it was deadly slipery getting in and out, if you have a few years under the belt it might be better to look elsewhere.
No baggage trolley, I had 5 trips up and down to the car on arival and check out, not
Happy.
They should either renovate or turn this place into a backpackers.

I was initially very disappointed with the Waldorf. As when I entered the poorly signposted car park under the building it was very difficult to find a parking space, as many are reserved for residents.
The room was very dated but would have looked nice two decades ago. But the thing was this hotel is still nice despite that. The front desk was polite and helpful, rooms are well serviced and the elevators are quick.
If you're looking for a place to stay right in the centre of Canberra and don't care about aesthetic looks, this is not a bad place to stay.
i. w.Excellent location in the heart of cbd with parking available for a small extra fee. Really good value for money. The building & furniture are not the newest or fanciest, but the hotel covers all the basics really well
N. M.Excellent value for the price with lots of space and kitchen facilities, not to mention breakfast included. The room I had initially was very noisy being on level 1 facing the YHA, but on request they immediately moved me to a room on the other side, which was generally quiet. I was also grateful that I did not have to pay to have my room key – which I had lost – replaced. Staff were polite.
R. L.I rented a studio apartment here for one night. The décor is seriously dated, the crockery in the kitchenette was dirty, and the carpet felt like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The bed was incredibly hard and felt like there was almost no mattress at all. But the location is very convenient if you need to be near Civic.
F. i.Stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment with office. It was quite decent in size. The kitchen had a all the basic utensils for cooking. The office was quite large. There was a separate laundry. One problem was the 2 single beds to make a queen.

T. M.Stayed here with my girlfriend for one week. Its a worth staying here specially if you are travelling with your kid. All in all a good hotel in a good location with great transport connections. The position of the hotel is great. I guess you get what you pay for.
