L. O.I stayed here with my Son, the apartment was fantastic and dog friendly.. great location, even though we faced the highway, it was surprisingly quiet.. bed very comfortable… extremely close to cafes and shops … would definitely stay again
C. T.The apartment was very spacious and had all cooking facilities which was good for a several nights stay. The location is excellent. I made the mistake of booking in a hurry through a third party website. Big mistake as the price was ridiculous and didn’t include parking which is free if you book through the hotel and $15 per day if you book through other sites. The apartment was large but the furniture very ´mismatched and uncomfortable and the cleanliness was average. Great balcony but too cold to use.

Disliked · There was an awful mould smell all throughout the corridors and in our room when we first entered. We had to air it out by opening all windows. The customer service was average. I had to call for the wifi password, reception didn't let housekeeping know that we had late checkout so housekeeping walked in on us twice. There was a general apathetic attitude from the staff. It was not very clean and very outdated.
A. J.I booked a 2-bedroom apartment last minute via Qantas app, specifically because the place is pet-friendly. I called ahead to double check and spoke with a lovely receptionist who confirmed I could bring my doggo.
On arrival, reception was friendly and efficient. They assisted with parking options.
We were on the 8th floor and the apartment was spacious, clean & with a fantastic view towards the Tower.
It was quiet, comfortable & with Tv options including Netflix & Amazon Prime. Wifi was good.
The location is fantastic, with cafes galore closeby & a park 50m away to walk the dog.
I’d highly recommend for people with pets!

k. s.Comfortable accomodation and great central location . There are only 2 lifts which are quite slow and took a long time to go down to check out.

M. D.My family and I stayed at the Pacific Suites recently and had a great stay. It is excellent value for money, right in the middle of Braddon and so a stone's throw from near-by shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms were perfect and very spacious with two beds / baths and the lounge and kitchen area great for relaxing, cooking and also a desk for working. Additionally, when I lost an item there, the staff found it and posted it back to me - thank you so much and we'll see you next time we're back down.

E. C.Stayed here for a work trip. No after hours check in information provided on booking, even though we advised we would be arriving at 8pm. The fuses had tripped in my room so I spent a while faffing about in the dark trying to turn them on again and the shower in my colleague's room needed repairs.
Z. W.Lovely rooms, close to the city and various bars and restaurants. Free parking if only booked direct, otherwise $15 per vehicle. Street parking is only max of $12 per day behind on More Street. Worth the stay though.

One of the best serviced apartments to have stayed in due service + location next to all the great Braddon restaurants with a couple of 100m. Parking easy with lifts straight to rooms. Lift easily fits my bike in too.

Mold and calcium scum in both bathrooms in our two room suite.
One “fresh towel” had a questionable brownish mark.
Rooms are dated and the carpet is coming up from the ground.
New room was supplied. Bathrooms had the same issues though not as bad.
Went to use a blanket, unfolded and there was long black hair all over it.
Only good thing is the easy access to the local restaurants, civic and the light rail.
K. T.Great comfortable stay, our original appartment had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, so we checked with reception if there was another room available. The staff were very good about it, they found us another room straight away which was perfect, clean and smelt fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful, not a bad location either.

Two bedroom apartments are perfect for a group of friends or even 2 couples to comfortably stay together. Parking included. Central location. Wonderful place.
S. D.We stayed here a few years ago and was clean and modern. I have to stay their standards have dropped quite a bit and so gas their cleanliness. We stayed there twice recently, one the way to the south coast and on the way back. When i mentioned the mould and dirty room they were very friendly and moved us. On our way back, dirty room, broken curtain rods, mould in both bathrooms, weird stains on walls and roof, holes in walls, cracked tiles throughout , dirty stained furniture. I dont think anyone wipes down walls or fixes anything. Staff were friendly but cleanliness wasn't their strong point. Pictures are from our third room. Definitely need to update facilities
L. Z.We booked a two bedroom, one bathroom suite for our Canberra trip in October 2019. The room was amazing. It had two TVs, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. What's more was that the hotel was so close to embassies and landmarks! Great job Pacific Suites!
S. E.Fantastic place, location right in the heart of goody district. Walking distance to everything or you can ride a push bike, bus or tram. Very clean tidy apartment with all the modern facilities. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Canberra.
M. M.When we arrived at the room it was freeeeeeeezzzzzzig. It was great the lobby had 2 heaters. Took a few hrs before the 2heaters and the wall mounted unit actually heated the space. After that it was no problem. Heating in the bathroom floor was a neat surprise. Close to nice places to eat. Very spacious and general layout of the space was a plus
S. C.We stayed 6 nights. Bin emptied once for our whole stay. Sink struggled to hold water. One of the balcony sliding doors broken and extremely difficult to open. Capping stone on pool edge collapsed into pool. All games room equipment busted - pool table, table tennis, and foosball. You must ask reception for the good bats, but at least there were good bats. Lifts overcrowded - allow 5 min to get in/out. The internet was pretty yummy. Gym was good. Otherwise great!
T. L.The staff here could not be more accommodating. Had a last minute booking on a hot night had rollaway bed made up and air con for us turned on before arrival. Room was clean and comfortable . Reception staff were great.

Z. T.Really good sized rooms and fantastic service from staff. Buffet breakfast was good but basic. Free wifi was a really good service and the parking was convenient as well as the laundry service. The beds were comfy. Bathrooms could have been better maintained and cleaned. Lacks little things like providing tissues and toilet paper and in need of shelfs in bathrooms to put toiletries in as I used the desk in the living room to store my toiletries in. Also the furniture is in need of an update as they are not very comfortable at all. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
R. I.Acceptably clean not thoroughly cleaned. Bathroom was missing amenities. Bedrooms were not heated given the fect we were on top floor with 3 kids and it was -2 degrees outside. But staff was very cooprative and quick in response of complaints. They provided portable heaters for bedrooms. Beds were not very comfy.
J. S.Nice spacious apartment style room, central location and $10 overnight parking. Was a very strong smell getting out of the lift on our floor I had to put my shirt over my nose and if you had a hangover you would be dry reaching.. but I think this may have been chlorine from the pool downstairs? The room itself smelt fine and was plesant to stay in. Resturant (the alley) downstairs was very dated and needs a refurbishment but meals were not too bad.
S. Y.Nice hotel, convenient location and parking. Clean apartment and you can just pack a bag only with 1 set of cloth and stay there comfortably. Facility in the room is great. Washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board and hair dryer provided. iPod doc / clock / radio with good sound. Nice view of the street and trees. Always enjoy my stay there.
F. L.The hotel is clean and modern, I had no problems staying here. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings modern. It's a city hotel which would suit a business stay rather than for a family looking for character. Bathroom/ Kitchen was immaculate and modern (recently renovated). Would definitely recommend staying here. Not much character if that's what you're looking for. Gym is small and would be full with 6-7 people.
D. D.Room great size had a two bedroom unit to my self. Heaps of space well appointed. My only complaint is they advertise they have satellite tv channels which is something I look for when booking to find out they don’t have them anymore. Would have booked elsewhere if I was aware.

Arriving at the hotel in your car can be a bit difficult as there is space for may be 4 cars to queue in front the property to unload and check-in before moving the car for parking.
Pre-check-in process was disappointing as the hotel sent me messages with dining / activities / weather information along with room upgrade option mentioned in the email text, however these details were nowhere to be found or accessed. No response when the messages were replied to.
Check-in experience was below average. No greeting or acknowledgement for the wait (selective acknowledgement though) left me unimpressed. Lots of scope for improvement to fit the 4-star claim
T. M.Pleasant check in/out staff and very good value for money. Our family had dinner at the hotel (Breeze Sports Bar & Restaurant) on our last night. Staffs here were very friendly and polite. The kitchen and laundry facilities in the room are priceless when you're travelling with a young family.
W. C.Fabulous location. Friendly staff. I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. I wish I could have controlled my bedroom temperature independantly of the one that set for the entire apartment. My friend and I could not agree on a comfy level overall but I laid out my clothes on the heated bathroom floor. And uses heat bags.

A. C.Location is close enough to City centre. Closest convenience store was a couple hundred metres away (Shell service station). Rooms were clean and tidy. No complaints. Service was ok. Non facing staff were nice. Facing staff not so much. Sister had to take staff member up to her room to prove she had a portable cot. Wouldn't take her word for it. They hadn't told her they had put one in her room, or try she would be charged for it. Went for breakfast and again staff were only average at best.

All amenities, stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, etc. Friendly, helpful staff. New tram very handy.
V. K.Friendly front staff, room size is good and clean. However, lift is too small and the the technician came in to do service at 9:30am which makes no sense as many people were going down to check out. I’ve to wait for 20 minutes then walk down from the stairs.
Also the rubbish bins were overflowing at car park area which make that area a bit messy.

F. C.Good well equipped apartment with two bedrooms and bathrooms. Not a scenic area but lots of good restaurants close by. Only drawback was great air-conditioning in living area but nothing not even a fan in the bedrooms. Elevator very slow.
A. K.We have stayed here for many years for work. Rooms are spacious and adequately furnished. Spare blankets could do with a better wash. Restaurant and bar are no longer operating which was a bit sad but conveniently located within an easy walk of plenty of other options.
V. B. M.Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and felt it was good value for money. The shower was over the bath and was difficult to get in/out of as I have mobility issues. Onsite undercover/secure parking provided for a small fee. The kitchen/dining facilities are functional and their noise policy meant it was a quiet stay. Great family accomodation that won’t break the bank. I would definitely stay in the hotel again.
DO NOT eat in the onsite restaurant (The Alley), we made the mistake on our first night and all ended up with a sick stomach the food was dreadful, over priced and the service even worse.
M. F.Well appointed serviced apartments in the heart of Canberra that are both comfortable and great value for money. There is a great cafe downstairs for any meals or you can order room service. Also a heated pool, gymnasium etc. I will stay here again next time I visit.

The resturant has closed onsite but not that major an issue with its close proximity to Mort street. There is a building site next door which backed into my suite. Not the hotels fault but it was noisy. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I didn’t try the pool but it looked good.

L. E.Change of name from Clifton Suites but the quality hasn't dropped. The suites remain great value, well furnished and good fittings with excellent use of space. The windows can be opened and the balcony is quite large. Free wifi is a great change.
If you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from the building site on the city side of the building.

M. C.A very comfortable family accommodation with generous room sizes, good kitchem facilities and large balcony. Bathroom a little 'tired', but adequate and pool area the same. Some guests there for the Summernats event made it uncomfortable for the first few days but management handled it well.

M. K.2 bedroom apartment over long Easter weekend. Easy check in. Large group of school kids staying who were not that quiet. Got in to the lift after a large group of them got out only to find they had pressed every single floor button in the lift!! That aside the apartment inside was spotless. Very comfortable and nice view over a building site and some of the surrounding hills. Balcony covered in orange dust from the building site so we had to wipe down the chairs on the very large balcony. Nice wee bar downstairs that pours a pilsner brewed specially for the suites. Very good. If you love beer walk 3 mins to Bentspoke Brew Bar which is around the corner. Amazing!! Good location to explore the area. Would recommend.
W. 1.Really great place to stay, great location and easy to get too. Only way to improve would be better amenities. The shower and toilet were dated and the TV was quite old, and a very old sound dock.
D. K.Stayed here for work in the 1 bedroom apartment and really enjoyed my stay. Its close to the centre of the city (Civic) and local bus station which was about 10min walk from the hotel. All the facilities are brand new and the rooms are quite large. Would recommend for both short and longer stays.

Service was poor:
1. When booking I tried to arrange a late checkout and had to push back twice before staff read and responded to that part of my email.
2. Twice, power tripped in our room. First time we called a guy up from housekeeping who told us that it happened all the time.
3. Door key was invalidated two hours before the time I had booked the late checkout.
P. H.Room was great, clean and spacious. Marked down slightly as had a bad check in experience - was very rushed and the man at the counter was literally throwing the forms to sign and key cards at me. Other than yours experience, all the staff were very pleasant.
y. e.Nice large family room. Comfortable bed. No air con in the bedrooms. It was quite noisy when we stayed dec 2017 because of all the building work going on around them. Great blockout blinds.
A. V.The stay was made alot more enjoyable from 1 of the bar staff members Chris he took pride in his work, was very friendly and professional. He is a great asset to the company. The rooms we also very clean, and other staff members were also helpful.
B. C.Room was spacious. Dishes were still in the dishwasher when we checked in and there was only one functioning elevator which would always fill up before our floor and skip our floor. We took the stairs a lot.
S. G.The dull lobby and restaurant don't really do justice to the size of the rooms, especially the apartments. They're well set out and appointed with everything you need for a short stay (or longer if need be). Admittedly the whole place is a little dated but it's pretty good value. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance as well. Only gets a 3 star but ummed over whether to give it 4.

O.Stayed as part of a group booking. Really feel that we were over charged. On check out found out we had been charged $50 for something that should have cost $45, that shouldn't have been on the bill. Charge was removed by front desk staff who were fantastic. Rooms were very nice.

I. M.I have stayed here two years running while attending conventions. The staff are friendy and helpful. Secure, undercover parking is included - a big plus in summer.
Excellent location, most of central Canberra is within 15 mins walk max.
Rooms are clean and spacious, beds can be hit and miss with some too soft for my preferences. Facilities are good, with a gym, restaurant and pool.
Aircon is only in the living area in the two bedroom suites I've stayed in, so bedrooms can get toasty in summer.
H. F.My family and I are from Mallacoota and made the tough decision to evacuate to Canberra with the fires. Accomodation was scarce with also having the fires along the South Coast and having everyone moving to ACT. Pacific Suites through Facebook kindly offered people who were evacuated to Canberra with the fires free accomodation including us. Pacific we can not thank you enough. You not only allowed us a place to stay and sleep, put you allowed our dog in due to the circumstances and you didn’t accept any payment. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you greatly. You have no idea how much we appreciate this during such a terrible and stressful situation. Thank you.
T. M.I stayed here for 20 days and had a great experience. We had a port-a-cot in our room and there was plenty of room even with a single lounge chair in there. Service was so friendly so it started off great. All of this was in a great central location.

B. L.The apartments are nice, though a bit dated fitout. I was upgraded to a two bedroom suite for the two nights which was overkill for a single traveler - why complain at an upgrade? ;) Comfy bed, probably one of the best nights sleep I've had on my visits to Canberra. Tiny TV in the room but had all the channels + foxtel working. Also nice and close to Lonsdale Street for eats & such.

D. C.Pacific Suites hotel is functional and reliable. It isn't going to win any decor awards however the staff were helpful and the location is good being only a hop-skip-andajump away from the cafe district/main street (Lonsdale st) of Braddon.

M. ..Location was good 15 minute walk to the city ,room was ok it had a combined kitchen , lounge room with separate bathroom and bedroom the bed was very hard and very uncomfortable the bathroom had limited storage for toiletries, the balcony overlooked the pool which was nice but it's very noisy from screaming children in the pool even with our balcony door closed we could still hear the noise from the pool area ,we did have swim and did enjoy it with fresh towels available and seating and tables also with nice big umbrellas some areas of the pool needed a bit of a clean but overall experience was positive , the breakfast room was clean and bright , décor a bit boring typical hotel breakfast no complaints but not outstanding I recommend sitting outside it was very pleasant .
