Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking because of COVID but wanted to commend the staff for being flexible with cancellation knowing its a difficult time now. I felt reassured all the way and they really took the stress off me during a frantic time of year. Would love to stay here another time!!
J. F.It is so well placed. So many places to eat around the hotel, a grocery store nearby plus many specialty stores. Public transit is just a short walk away. The hotel is affordable, clean, comfy bed and the staff are friendly.

J. S.Rooms very reasonably priced, spacious, clean, and quiet. Air conditioned, TV. We had our evening meal in the attached Tradies club bistro, a beautiful roast dinner, beef was full of flavour, melt in the mouth, no fat. Very generous portion. Highly recommended. Only disappointment was that on arrival we were asked to pay an extra $50 for room, that we were told would be refunded to us on check out. When we checked out we were then told that the $50 wouldnt be refunded to us for up to 5 days. Unacceptable, this was not disclosed at time of booking. What was the point ? No one had even checked our room at the time we checked out anyway. Money grabbing excersise. When you make a booking you expect to pay the price advertised, otherwise you wouldnt book it at all. I told the receptionist that I wanted my $50 refunded immediately, and they did refund it to me. Sadly, this episode was the only bad point, otherwise our stay was excellent. Thank you.
M. S.Everything was good . No complaints until the lift didn't work! Having to walk up 3 flights of stairs isn't good when you have a bad back and leg issues . And getting luggage down wasn't easy .

M. C.Great location, very convenient. We requested a room out the back and they shuffled people around to give us what we asked for. The soaps in the bathroom smell like a 70-year-old Italian builder after a day in the sun, which is not my cup of tea.
a. g.Our stay here was extremely cheap and cheerful. Rooms were large and well stocked. I have seen less in a 5 star room when it comes to amenities such as a microwave. Really central to a huge range of shops and restaurants. Club attached it modern and nice while it was great we didn't have to worry about paying for parking. Area was clean and safe while there is a woolies very close by helping if you need some items on the quick. Canberra wine bar situated inside he hotel which looks absolutely lovely though can get a little noisy on a Saturday or Friday night. Very kid friendly and welcoming to families for a very comfortable price

Z. Z.room was large enough for parents and two kids with 2 queen size beds. location was excellent with free car park. it is located close to all types of food and supermarket plus bottle shop. i will recommend this place and will come back here again.
V. T.The rooms have a perfect size, with 2 queen beds and enough room for a table and a desk. You could bring some takeaway/room service and eat in the room comfortably, though we didn't do that.
The rooms were probably upgraded in the last 2 or 3 years, though the bathroom still looks kind of outdated, mainly because of the materials used I'd say. No bathtub, just shower, and great water pressure and temperature. Very clean. Great Iocation within Dickson, close to Woolworths and many new shops and restaurants.

R. S.Rooms are comfortable and quiet, service is good. There is excellent food available at the club next door (breakfasts are reasonably priced and generous). Our bathroom is spotless, but the spa looks very old and needs rails for safe access. The bed and furnishings are very good. There is plenty of undercover parking and 24hr reception.

N. B.Nice and clean place but the receptionist ran and called 30mins before check out reminding the checkout time. Felt very uncomfortable after that call. Hope they learn to make customers feel welcome more. But genuinely a nice cozy cheap place.
P. K.The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are above average. Pricing is very good. The restaurant has great food at great prices. The cafe is open late. It is situated walking distance from anything you require. I have stayed here twice now and will do so again.

M. B.Reasonably priced accommodation located next to a newly built residential area. Room #108 is spacious with a kitchenette. If you drive, this room is great as you can park your car just outside, rather than downstairs in the car park. There are lots of Asian food restaurants nearby to choose from. Woolworths, petrol station, chemist are also within minutes walk. The hotel was quiet around the the Christmas /New year time. Would recommend this hotel to families travelling with children.

S. A.Staff friendly and helpful but unfortunately couldn't quite get our request right. We requested a room away from the noise but was put in the atrium area where the wine cellar etc was, & noise of children and adults yelling till after 11pm was reverberating thru our room. Noises from the other rooms upstairs etc carried thru our room at all hours of the night. Did not get much sleep.Our room was very clean BUT very old & outdated. Furniture was falling apart. Would have expected more for how this accommodation is portrayed.
B. L.I left my Samsung 8 mobile charger in the room when I left Canberra and was too far away to turn back to retrieve it. I was very pleasantly surprised when staff of the hotel contacted me to ask if they could post it to me. Hence I now have my mobile charger back and I am pleased to declare the honesty and efficiency of the staff members who worked there and those that made the attempt to return my personal belongings.
May I add the room was very big and bed comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom areas were very clean. Thanks again.

M. D.Great place to stay. Our family of four loved the sleeping arrangement of our room (2 double beds) and the facilities were nice and clean. Would definitely come back again.
C. S.The room was clean, and tidy and well maintained. The bed was a bit hard and squeaked. There was no lift to the second floor of the hotel for which we were situated. The shower was cramped and at 5'11 the shower was too low. All in it was A comfortable stay.
A. O.Good value for the money. The outside of the building resembles a motel but the rooms have been renovated and are comfortably appointed. The hotel is attached to a sports bar, gaming center, small casino, and dining options. It's also conveniently located to restaurants, small stores and gas, and within 10 minutes of the CBD.
T. C.Absolutely fantastic staff, strayed for four nights with my 4yo daughter. Unfortunately she left her favourite soft toy behind "puppy". I contacted reception and asked they found puppy and they did. Express posted it back to Melbourne immediately for us! Fantastic group of staff! Recommended to anyone travelling with young children!
M. M.This a really nice urban club. Good bar, cafe, wine Bar, general facilities. As is often the case with these urban clubs, the pokies have infected the floorspace, but it's a lovely environment otherwise. Sadly, the WiFi is poor at best. For a large club in the nation's capital, you'd be within your rights to expect better. Don't try to work from within unless you bring your own internet.
