L. T.The Vibe is located walking distance from the airport terminal. But it can also be a nice place to stay as everything in canberra is a 10 minute drive away. Modern spacious rooms and a incredible atrium greet guests. The service is friendly and cheerful and eager to please. I would have given them 5 stars if it were not for some small omissions. Cleanliness could be improved. Surfaces were visibly dusty and the shower knob was broken in my room but not fixed. I would still recommend it and if possible splash out on the 2 bedroom apartments on the top floor.

Front desk staff member Nick had excellent customer service ~ He attended to our requests promptly with friendliness enthusiasm; great example of top tier hospitality. Beds were warm and comfortable, shower pressure was incredible. Would love to stay here again and enjoy the bar / fireplace area.

R. J.Been wanting to stay here for a while. Didn't fly in, drove in and plenty of parking. Staff were AMAZING. I mean, some hotels fake it but everyone we spoke to made us feel welcome. Room was really clean, nice view too. Towels were oddly small? Bed and pillows were great, air con quiet. TV is cheap and missing pay tv. Hope you're ok with hearing your partner use the loo, no quiet privacy here! Shower water ran under the door and needed mopping up. We ordered room service and it was quick and delicious and huge serving size! The price was fantastic and it'll now be my go to for Canberra hotel accommodation. Thank you to the team who made it a welcomed stay.
J. A.This is a nice hotel and very very convenient if you’re traveling or working in this side of Canberra. We’ve stayed here twice in the last 6 weeks. The first room we had was everything we expected. Very comfortable bed, clean etc but, just recently we stayed here.. the bed was VERY hard (room 308), the cupboards seemed like they were about to fall off, there was a face washer in the shower from the previous guests (the staff did come and remove it for us and supplied us with fresh towels) …. This room just wasn’t as comfortable as the room we had last time. Also, the menu at the restaurant is pretty limited. There’s not a lot of places to eat at in this area so if you’re staying a few nights, more variety would be nice.
As I said… we stayed here for convenience. Hopefully, if we stay here again, our stay will be up to the standard of the first time.
M. W.Just spent a 3 night stay for a family Wedding weekend! Our room had a problem with the fridge and Management immediately gave us a first class upgrade. Both rooms were incredibly clean and very comfortable.

J. F.Thanks Vibe Hotel, first time here and it was fantastic! We had breakfast at Helix and it was very pleasant. Fast service and friendly staff plus good food makes for an excellent start for any day, especially today as we welcome back our youngest daughter to Australia after being away working and living in Osaka Japan for nearly 7 years!
N. B.Nice accomodation with modern amenities. Room was spacious but needed to be cleaned better. Very dusty and smelled stale. Friendly staff and buffet breakfast with the usual variety.

View: The view was amazing and could spot planes from the room/balcony. What was great was that when the doors/windows were closed, you could not hear the sound of the planes.
Design of the building: Unique and beautiful.
Staff: Nice and friendly, great customer service.
Miscellaneous: Parking was available and the location of the hotel was great as it is located next to the airport.

L. C.Only a five minute walk from the airport if that. The Vibe is a modern Hotel offering good dining and bar facilities etc. The rooms were also modern very clean, comfortable and tidy. It is a added bonus having such a nice establishment to stay so close to the airport.
R. M.Only ever been here for a one hour coffee meeting (I live 10km away so chances are I'll never stay a night).
However, from what I saw the hotel is very clean, well presented, cosy and welcoming. Coffee was really quite good (unusual for a hotel, I know!) and the food being prepared and served in Helix smelled amazing! The staff were all very pleasant and asked a couple of times (but not too many) if our group needed anything. For locals, I'm thinking Helix could be a great dining out venue.
For travellers, assuming the rooms are as good as the ground floor, and given the 2 minute walk (no, I'm not joking) to the terminal, I can't see how you could go wrong.
S.My daughter and I recently drove to Canberra for a spontaneous road trip and stayed at the Vibe Hotel. Everything about our stay was great. We stayed in the Executive First Class Suite which was very luxurious. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, I requested my poached eggs to be cooked a little longer to ensure the whites aren't runny and they were cooked to perfection!
The only one minor critique is the bedding selection options online were worded as "1 king bed or two twin beds" we selected "two twin beds" which indicates a room with two double beds. We were given 1 king and 1 sofa bed. I queried this as I was not expecting to pay such high rates for a fold out sofa as they are far less comfortable than a proper bed. I mentioned that if that is the only option, it should be worded as 1 king bed and 1 twin sofa so guests know what they are paying for. We spent some time with the Duty Manager discussing this and as my daughter was happy to sleep on the sofa we stayed with this room. The staff were apologetic for this confusion and the rest of our stay went without a hitch.
Overall, a lovely property with lovely facilities and professional staff.
We will stay here again in future.
D. I.If you are in Canberra, this is the place to stay at. Had the 2 bedroom suite, the room was spotless, had everything we needed. Having dinner downstairs is a must, the food here is absolutely delicious. The staff here are the best I have ever dealt with. Very friendly, very helpful. This hotel deserves 10 stars. The only place I’ll stay at whenever I am in town.

J. M.We booked Two 2 Bedroom apartments for two nights for our wedding stay in March 2021. Apartment and rooms were fantastic. Fresh, modern, spacious and most importantly clean and tidy. Special mention to Assistant Hotel Manager Johny Kiran and his team who displayed utmost professionalism and went above their call of duty to ensure that we had a pleasant experience. L.Enjoyable 3 day stay at The Vibe. Gentlemen on checkin was delightful, the hotel has a beautiful bar and restaurant area with a lovely atmosphere, we enjoyed drinks while the kids relaxed on the couches. Our family interconnecting room was comfortable my only suggestion would be the rooms could do with a deep clean as our carpet had a few stains. Close drive to the CBD - will stay again!

Pros: Lobby is tastefully decorated, and exterior of the building looked nice as well. I loved the architecture. Inside of the room has unique designs as well. The style of the entire room was consistent, and aligns with the lobby and exterior. Layout of the room was not commonly seen but actually made sense when you look at it and think about it. When we had breakfast we got overcharged, but they fixed it and apologies sincerely so all good. Location is good as well - very close to the highway and obviously the airport; we started driving to Kosciuszko from Sydney Friday late afternoon and stayed here overnight. I would recommend this place to people doing the same thing.
Cons: Apparently parking costs extra if you want to eliminate the possibility of getting a fine when you park right outside, although this probably makes sense given its proximity to the airport. But still I don't see the value. Also even in the middle of a pandemic, this place was still not cheap (in my opinion).

Lost stars due to no breakfast service before 7am, no room service to supplement lack of service and relative high prices on a limited menu, when service available. All points exaggerated by limited alternatives, paying for convenience. Ok if company paying on a business trip, but would head to town for better options if on a personal trip.

Great location, check in staff were great.
WIFI never worked on several devices, would connect but not prompt to enter any details and hence no internet.
Other major issue was I booked through booking.com and paid the $70 or so for the breakfast, of course there is no buffet breakfast any more or even a dining experience. Was directed to sit near the bar area in the casual seating, the breakfast was general cafe type food and prices. So in total for two meals may have been $35, raised this with booking.com and response was bad luck the hotel will not refund, in addition they acknowledge the buffet breakfast was unavailable yet do not update the site! I see this as false advertising so will take it further.

The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable - you can comfortably hold meetings and conference calls from rooms.
Food was great and served until 22:00. Good breakfast with lots of options, although served a bit late from 07:00.
Check in and check out we’re both swift.
Lifts were fast. Staying on floor 5 wasn’t a major drag.
Staff were really pleasant - happy, helpful, polite.

It had adequate space for the room I got, but the A/C unit was difficult to operate and I had a room that had an off track bathroom door and the food was overpriced. But all those don't matter as the hotel was close to nearby attractions and locations.

D. M.Convenient location, really nice rooms, modern and clean. Staff are great and very helpful. Check in can be slow, with long queues. Wine list selection is very ordinary. Whisky selection is very limited and disappointing for single malt fans. Often the bar is under staffed resulting in longer wait times. Food menu is just OK, with not a wide selection and food quality is average to slightly above average. So, overall a good place to stay if you can eat and drink elsewhere.

Room Service is quick, but food can be pricey for basic meals (as always for room service). Some rooms have very little closet space. If you have a choice ask for a room with separate toilet and shower, they are the rooms with better layout. Level 5 has a nice view on the airport side. Gym is quite big. The foyer/dining/bar look elegant and modern.

A. B.A fantastic hotel located a short walking distance from Canberra Airport. The vibe has a 24/7 gym for all guests and has a fantastic view with free towel use. The rooms are well maintained, and my room had an awesome view of the airport. The have room service on offer as well as dining downstairs.
Get the buffet breakfast as it is well worth the small cost of $20.
All the staff here were very friendly to deal with and I enjoyed my stay.

A.Good service but rooms are very strange. The toilet and shower are right next to each other and that is connected to bedroom. So almost no privacy.
One thing I hated and never seen before is the duvet is not enclosed inside the bed sheet. Seems very unhygienic and doesn't feel nice.
Agree with other reviews that it can be quite noisy if next door closes the door it shakes your room.
D. G.The location has a few little cafes and shops around the place but they seem to all be closed on weekends. The hotel has a restaurant inside which serves great food at restaurant prices. There is a small gym however it is well equipped and the equipment is kept clean. Really nice atmosphere in general in the hotel. The room was a great size, air conditioning is great, and the room was kept clean. Even though it is located next to an airport terminal, you could not hear any noise from outside even with the curtains opened!

Breakfast buffet is $29, but we lucked in with a 2 for 1 deal. They even had Gluten Free breads for the wife. We also had dinner which for me was a good steak. At $30 a bit pricey for what i got but the service was top notch. Kids menu was good and they came out with a kids goody bag full of crayons, and stickers. We woild come back for sure if we are in Canberra.

The hotel room is very nice and clean, fresh and airy. The TV could be a little bit bigger though, and the movies package could have been included in your stay instead of $35 for the package which is quite pricey.
The bed is very comfortable and the ammenities in the room works more than fine.
The room that we stayed in has an open bathroom plan with the sink being in the middle. This is probably a poor idea as when you're coming out of the shower, it's freezing cold and the shower and toilet areas are very confined and small, you're limited to how much you can move around which can be annoying. The design could have just been a traditional hotel bathroom instead of the open bathroom design which I thought was quite inconvenient and poor.
I've booked this hotel through wotif and they had a great deal with the breakfast buffet as well. The breakfast selections were quite well and their cooking was pretty well done, always topping up fresh meals and we weren't limited to how much we can eat which is great.
I like the overall design of the hotel, being round and the theme of it being retro. I think it's very unique and creative and I can definitely see how it's a 4 star rated hotel.

E. B.The hotel and rooms were lovely, we had an interconnected room and it was the perfect setup for families. Skip breakfast though as it wasn't very nice. There was only white bread not.multigrain or wholemeal and streaky bacon not shortcut. Leaving limited options for eating healthy if you didn't want to pay $28 for cereal...

Our room was clean and had a nice view. Dinner was what you would expect for fine dining and breakfast was hot and fresh. It was only 3 minutes walk to the departure terminal. The real difference the staff made and the reason I'm writing this review was when I experienced issues at the airport and was unable to fly (bad travel agent), I returned here and the staff greeted me by name, were genuinely concerned for my situation, and helped me process. Big shout out to the manager Angelin, and the two reception staff Piña, and Christina who were all very welcoming. There were other staff too but too many to name. Thanks everyone!
S. M.Had a rather average experience while staying here overnight for business. First issue was the purchasing or a "prepaid" parking voucher which didn't work. Neither the parking company or the hotel took responsibility and it took me to plead my case through an intercomm to be let out. Second issue was my card being deactivated after coming back from breakfast but before checking out! Had to walk back to reactivate my card so I could get into my room. It's a shame these simple running issues underpinned my experience as the rest of my hotel is quite nice and well located in proximity of the airport.
M.Hospitality is excellent. Vibe hosts/waiters do everything with a smile and nothing is in the too hard basket. The rooms are clean and modern however can feel a touch small, but still does the job. I've stayed here for three nights with each new day being greeted with a smile by staff.

You wouldn't stay here if you were in Canberra for a lengthier period as there is nothing to do (out and about), unless you like walking around airports? If there is a function in the lobby the sound drifts up to the rooms, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. I am sure it was an oversight, however when settling up by bill they had added a dinner order, which wasn't mine. I corrected them and it was all fine and I just settled up for my room service order. I would stay again if I had to be at the airport first thing. This hotel is also great for conferences if people are flying in for the day, due again to its close proximity to the airport.
M. H. L.Checked into 3 rooms with friends for last weekend. A really awesome and stylish hotel. A quick check and check our process. Accidentally didn't include our breakfast which was pre-booked but made up for it without a hassle. Clean rooms and bathroom, with a good variety for brekkie. Didn't even realise the airport next door because we didn't hear any planes. Overall a great experience and we'll be back again!

The central lounge and dining area is impeccably kept/maintained. The hotel is super easy to get to and access with good parking underneath the hotel. Highly recommend vibe hotel Canberra airport.

The only downsides were noise at night from neighbouring rooms, albeit minimal, and also there is no food apart from the restaurant nearby.
G. R.A bit disappointing experience. First the room I was given was on the first floor right next to the elevator and the balcony overlooking bar/restaurant. It was hard to sleep due to laughter and noise coming from the bar. Second at breakfast time I showed up exactly 4 minutes before the official opening time; while everything was ready I was being told by one staff member it was not open and to go sit somewhere else and wait. Meanwhile another guest entered the area and begun to eat. Small things but not great.
T. M.The open plan toilet/shower with opaque doors was unique and may not be to everyone's taste. The staff were extremely friendly especially the receptionist named Jess. The close proximity to the terminal complex meant easy walking access to and from the terminal. The current rates are well below usual pricing I think.

It sounds silly but it's these little enhancements that just make sense, that you really look for when you've stayed in a lot of hotels. Great bathrooms & big shower heads. The noise from the foyer bar & restaurant quietens down eventually & the rooms are well soundproofed from outside. Great meals in the restaurant but a little exxy for breakfast. Quick check in/out & friendly staff also really helped. Will definitely stay again. Oh, & there's a bike share point outside the hotel that access a bike lane on the main road. Win!

J. a.We had a comfortable and lovely stay here. They provide free parking for your car but Found basement parking was always full so we had to park outside (at no fee though). They have rooms with open plan bathrooms, so remember to ask for a closed plan bathroom if you are not comfortable with open plan concept. Also since Canberra gets little too cold during winters, it would be nice if they provide in-room slippers since bathrooms are not carpeted in general.
J. B.Great hotel except for bathrooms...a real design problem,one stay we had an "open plan" bathroom,half walls and no bathroom door, therefore no real privacy. Next visit,we asked for "closed bathroom"...an terrific ,extra large bathroom with tub,.....except this time there is a floor to ceiling glass panel in the wall,about 2 feet from the bed head,and 2 feet wide, therefore when your partner uses the bathroom during the night,you are like a rabbit in the headlights,enough light to read the paper with.
The bath tub is a modern cool design ,like a trough,which would rearrange your anatomy if you try to swing your legs over.No hand rails to steady oneself either.
Solution.....bring a torch,or management install a night light in bathroom please. Go to Bunnings buy sheets of 3 ply and block in the bathroom walls.
Request the architect to come and sleep in the rooms,use the bathrooms, tell him to sleep with the light on in the bathroom,bathrooms might look trendy,but are not user friendly.
The Room Service is amazing,really fast service and really nice food,especially the fish and chips,and salads fresh with nice dressings.
Beds and linen among the nicest we have had,and parking underneath and access to lifts is good and very convenient.
Staff welcoming and efficient....it is a lovely place to stay,but the bathrooms are a let down.

He then process the payment and not even a single smile on a face . Just disgraceful. That’s not a great part of the hospitality.
All of sudden there manager named Johny kiren came out and greeted us in such a nice manner. Johny did apologise on Ricky’s behalf. Really appreciate his concern. A. L.Nice modern fit out, in keeping with the Vibe brand. Room was clean and modern, and the bathroom rates a special mention with modern fittings. In room TV system was very slow to operate to simply switch free to air channels. Sometimes a 'smart tv' is too smart for the power of its processing. Food was pretty average. Dinner was barely a handful of salt and pepper squid chucked on a plate with a sprig of parsley and dish of tasteless sauce. No presentation at all for your $23. Breakfast buffet was also average. Under cooked eggs and bacon, and the Bain Marie items were barely lukewarm. Coffee was ok but two cups had totally different flavours from the same barista. It wasn't like it was very busy. Staff were attentive and engaged however. It's very convenient to the airport and the Fyshwick side of town. I've stayed in quite a few better options closer to the city for the same money.

P. C.Did not stay at the hotel so I cannot comment on the stay. But the bar is just unacceptable. 25 minute wait on 1 coffee and a tea at non-peak hour. One lady was ignored by their bar staff for so long she sat back down.
P. H.I had a marvelous view of the carpark and a petrol station, and could watch aeroplanes (or airplanes) flying away and landing. I slept in a comfortable bed and drank coffee made by a machine. I washed in a stream of warm water. I ate Twisties and drank chocolate milk in bed while watching telly. All of these things would have been impossible for humans living as little as two centuries ago and unimaginable for a dinosaur such as stegosaurus from approximately 150 million years ago (both because of their small brains, incapable of imagining such things and because cows and cocoa beans did not exist) so on one level it was a marvelous experience.

N.AMAZING.... This was one of the best hotels weve stayed in. It was really cool on the inside, had a great restaurant and food (although abit pricey) the hotel and room was very clean, our room was so luxurious and had everything we could need, including a coffee machine and lots of pods, and the furnishings were very luxurious but at the same time the room felt so homely that we ended staying an extra 2 nights, we didnt want to leave, it had the most super comfy luxurious firm but cloud like bed and also had king pillows, the staff were just amazing, so friendly and helpful, and even upgraded us for free for booking direct with the hotel.. the only little thing i could complain about- was it was $14 a day for car parking, but thats because the airport own it and the hotel has no say over it, but if you book direct with the hotel and maybe ask for a free upgrade, it makes up for the carparking 😊
