A. A.Super nice, calm and clean hostel. We’ve got an absolutely clean room with fridge, TV and own basin. Nice pool area and friendly staff. Just the kitchen is a bit dirty...
Best hostel we stayed in Darwin!
A. J.It's Darwin so you can't expect much for your money. However, the location is good, the WiFi is pretty decent and there are computers for free use. There is a decent amount of common area space and the rooms are about okay too. It's solely the kitchen that's really small and usually dirty that is a bother. Otherwise the place can be pretty loud at night.
E. P.Chilli’s hostel is located in the middle of the CBD. I arrived in mid January during the wet season when tourism was at its lowest. 16 weeks I was here due to the 88days, over the weeks felt like serenity. I stayed in a 4 bedroom with only me in the room for $168 a week. Brilliant.
At week 12 I desired to get a car and park it in the back. To do this I needed to get the key in the reception to open the gate. “Sorry, we have no keys” 4 weeks went by and still no key. In the end this made me angry. I went to the manager and her suggestion was to ask everyone in the hostel to see who had the key and see when they checked out or ask all the staff in the place to hold me one. Why should I the customer be held this responsibility? Iv been a long term stay and this turned my serenity to disrespect to the place. Good place, just don’t get a car.
D. W.There’s a fridge in the room! And AC. You can bring alcohol into the hostel, but strictly no glass!
Free wifi on the whole premise, but slow.
26$ a day, 24$ if you book for a week (wet season price?)
Very good and clean showers, but the toilets could be cleaner.
Strange bunk bed ladder, not easy to get up and down.
C. B.We really prefer this hostel when in Darwin. The city itself don't have that many "good" and cheep" places to stay at. Chilli's is relatively clean, has nice dorms, and you get your own locker in the room. They have a no alcohol policy so the guests are overall quiet and respectful.
D. O.The bathrooms were cleaner than expected - Dorms were smelly & unclean! The kitchen is very basic, small & needs some love and attention. Compared to the others probably the quietest hostel on the strip!
J. L.Positives include an extremely comfortable bed and effective air conditioning in every room. However, we had some serious issues with other residents whilst staying, someone put detergent in the spa and we encountered some questionable activities in the ladies toilets.
j. m.Nice and clean, big kitchen area, spa area with loungers and two good hot tubs. Quiet enough to get good sleep but close enough to the pubs and clubs that you can easily go out and have a party
N. B.Great central location. Sparse room but a good little fridge. TV reception patchy. Good free wifi. Very few on site parks. Most of the problems are Darwin problems and not issues with this backpackers specifically.
T. B.Small rooms but ok, only mixed toiletts on ground floor, staff during night is super even if he has to come over from the youth shack, during the day they are not that friendly. The location is awsome, right in the hart of darwin.

2 hot tubs on the first floor.
You can actually reach everything easily from here and it is a "party street" (can get loud). Every trip can be organized from here. Very helpful people from Happy Travels ❣️
(Alcohol ACTUALLY prohibited, especially in gas bottles!) 😂

Zimmer, auf jeden Fall die Doppelbett Einzelzimmer, sehr gepflegt und sauber mit abschließbaren Fächern. Bäder sind ok. Küche..... 🤔 Typisch Backpackers.
2 Whirlpools im ersten Stock.
Man kann von hier aus eigentlich alles gut erreichen und es ist eine "Partystreet" (kann mal laut werden). Jeder Trip kann von hier aus organisiert werden. Sehr hilfsbereites People von Happy Travels ❣️
(Alkohol EIGENTLICH verboten, besonders in Gasflaschen!)😂
Direkt nebenan befindet sich das Coles und ein Liquorshop. 😎
I. d. K.(Translated) Fantastic 'laid back' hostel just outside the somewhat turbulent entertainment area. Great rooms not super clean but the price is there too. Enjoy cooking outside together. Nice and helpful staff. If I ever come to Darwin again, I will know where I will sleep!

Fantastisch 'laid back' hostel net buiten het wat roerige uitgaans gedeelte. Prima kamers niet superschoon maar daar is de prijs ook naar. Lekker buiten kokkerellen met z'n allen. Aardig en hulpvaardig personeel. Als ik ooit weer in Darwin kom, weet ik waar ik slaap!

Hundreds of cockroaches in the room, crawling out under the old fridge at night and spreading throughout the room.
The locker in the room is without a key, i. you can not even lock up your valuables.
There is a much too small washroom for far too many people.
The Lange is awesome, many things are nearby.
Also Wi-Fi is everywhere except in the rooms.

Preis ist billig, dementsprechend auch der Rest.
Jemand der auf seine Gesundheit achtet, ist hier falsch!
Hunderte von Kakerlaken im Zimmer die nachts unter dem alten Kühlschrank herausgekrabbelt kommen und sich im ganzen Zimmer verbreiten.
Der Spind im Zimmer ist ohne Schlüssel d.h. man kann seine Wertsachen nicht mal einsperren.
Es Gibt nen viel zu kleinen Waschraum für viel zu viele Leute.
Die Lange is der Hammer, vieles ist in der Nähe.
Auch W-Lan ist überall gut bis auf in den Zimmern.
Dafür die 3 Sterne.
