Beltana hotel is situated in a great spot of Lindisfarne with a fantastic view which gives the place a nice setting. The menu is quite small and the prices being a tad too expensive for a limited range. The wait time is generally good but once busy you can wait over an hour for food. Once the food arrived it was a good sized meal which was good and also had one of the funniest waiters I've ever come across. I would like to give this place at least a 4 but for the waiting and prices I have to give it a 3.5

Nice atmosphere friendly staff nothing is to much trouble meals are a good size our, server has a remarkable memory there were about 12 or 13 in our group and she knew who had ordered what meal even when it came to paying for them. (We payed individualy.) Very reasonably priced.

Our meal prepared by the kitchen was really good so full credit to them! Unfortunately the service is the worst I have ever witnessed. It's such a shame considering the food is so good. We would love to return however the service needs to change and I doubt it actually will.

Thank you for taking the time to be so kind. Your Manager went above and beyond to look after me the first day I arrived. I was distressed due to a family illness. My stay here was lovely. With other family members who arrived a few days later. We are all from different states. We were able to come back to the hotel and wind down, enjoy all the facilities that the hotel had to offer. The Dining Room Staff were lovely, The food was great. The Gaming Staff were awesome, The rooms were nice, I will stay here again. Just one thing. Your Pepper Sauce, (Gravy) is the nicest I have ever tasted, Wish I had the recipe. Kindest Regards Donna

First time we have stopped by this Hotel, was going past and it was lunch time. Entering the bistro it was well set out and the view was of the bridge and Hobart. Welcomed by the friendly waiter who advised us we could sit out on the enclosed glass veranda area but told us it was hot out there in the sun, so we chose an inside table. The meals were terrific, the pepper gravy was the best hot, but so nice you didn't want to not use it, the salad was fresh and wasn't just leafy, the dressing was great. You couldn't go passed the awesome service from the two waiters on today, They were polite, friendly and attentive. A real credit to this place.

Wow, wasn't expecting anything as good as the meal we had. The staff were so friendly and helpful even when dealing with a few different dietary needs. Gluten-free and Dairy-free were catered for without a problem. Everyone loved the meals we had. Even the simplest parts of the meals were totally delicious!

I regularly have a quiet beer at the Belta. I dislike not being able to get a cascade schooner for 550. Great Northern was 550. Cascade draft 720. We should be supporting Tasmanian beers. The Belta used to have bar staff with real personality and fun relationships with punters This is sadly lacking . What happened to Clinton for example?

The beltana was a good place to sit and socialize, it took over an hour to receive our meal, but it was tasty and our waiter was very accommodation. The meals were quite pricey but everything was cooked perfectly.
