R. C.Reception lady was helpful to the point of being like a sister or mum.
We stayed in room 4 that had a slight view of the market and the park. The room is about medium sized, very clean. Small fridge, aircon, tv , the usual amenities. Toilets are as clean as you can get them to be. Hot shower, very clean as well.
Bed was comfortable and the pillows and and linen had that crisp sterilized but fragrant feel to them.
Smack in the middle of night life but surprisingly was peacefull for a friday night even though the party people where in the streets below. I suppose the double window panels keep it comfortably quiet.
Carpets are thick to walk on and clean to touch.
At 530 am we could start to hear the Saturday markets people start to setup. Was not noisy but you could her them. As we chose this place so we could experience the Salamanca Markets and this place is literally walk in and walk out of this event as the front door of the hotel opens into the market scene, then the slight sounds of these stall holders was a gentle wake up call.
Restos and foody type premises everywhere from cheap quickies to fine dinning.
Very safe, very clean, close to action.
Definitely a place to stay.

J.So convenient and comfortable. Fantastic location right in the middle of Salamanca, close to the wharves and all the action. Very clean and comfortable room. I had a skylight room. Lovely touches provided in the room such as pod coffee and coffee maker, real milk, Tasmanian soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Very good experience.
R. M.Stayed one night. Ted was friendly and helpful and the rooms were basic but clean. Shower was a bit tiny. Compared to the cost of other accommodation on our trip it was middling in terms of value for money. Still we needed a place for one night and it fitted the bill. Plus side is that it is the best location to enjoy Salamanca as the market is literally on the doorstep.
P. A.You could not have more convenient accommodation. Our room overlooks the Salamanca market, and it is a short walk to Masons Hut and the Tasmanian Museum, St David's park. Spoiled for choice for restaurants, wine bars as well. Our room is quiet and comfortable, especially the bed, and Ted welcomed us and has been helpful in every way. Would definitely choose to stay here again

S. D.Great place to stay... the queen studio great view up Salamanca place. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Just walk downstairs to the market and fab restaurants. Beaut cafe downstairs.. Retro with yummy breakfasts and treats. Expect a party night Friday and Sat nights. band at the pub..bit noisy but great fun to join in.
The other week nights were quiet.

One small minus: the windows can't be opened for fresh air.

T.Extremely happy with the accommodation, very comfortable except for the tv in the lounge area which was too high on the wall for comfortable veiwing from the couch, It was set for laying back in bed but would be ok to watch if you were standing up. There was another tv in the bedroom area and comfortable to view when lying down, better than a strained neck!
But this really didn't matter as the hotel was right in the middle of everything, walking distance to cafes, shops, nightlife, waterfront, shopping etc so you probably won't watch too much tv anyway!
Checking in and out was smooth. There is no-one on site overnight but they are just a phone call away. Received a warm welcome, nothing seemed too much trouble.
Overall a great place to stay, clean, fresh, tasteful and in a great location. Saturday's Salamanca market is right out the front door!
