K. T.Comfortable and good location. Bathroom a good size. Minimal toiletries provided. Kettle and tea/coffee available plus small fridge. Good for a short stay. No elevator and rooms up at least two flights of stairs. Needed a dust.
A.My stay was only half a day as I was flying but very friendly and helpful staff at reception helped me with urgent needs and room was cozy very clean comfy bed and all the necessities are available . Thanks

Basic facilities in room, small fridge, tea/coffee making, clean towels and linen. Extra blankets and pillows in wardrobe, with plenty of storage room.
Room itself was small but nonetheless comfortable for the two of us.
Functional R/C Heat pump.
We had two single beds that were comfortable enough but bases were outdated and starting to sag BUT the mattresses were pillow topped.
Bathroom is fairly compact but functional. Shower recess is excellent for tall people, I'm 7ft 2in and I was able to adjust the shower rose to a height where I could water the too of my head without any bending.
Shower door is a bit dicky but it works. Shower gel, small soap bars and hand soap provided, no shampoo, etc.
Good brand, soft toilet paper.
No hair dryer.
Located in heart of city on a main road, yet there was no traffic/road noise; much due to excellent choice in baffled window system (can't open windows).
Within 5-10 min walk from Elizabeth Street Mall, with Meyer and Target, etc.
Within 15 min walk of waterfront and Salamanca Market.
Located above a Chinese restaurant/take away, directly across the road from an Indian Curry house, within 30mtrs of the Shamrock Hotel and other numerous and affordable dining venues throughout the area.
Staff were friendly, approachable and very helpful.
I would definitely stay here again.

D.Alright stay. Bed was comfortable and there was air conditioning. However, the bathroom was not very cleaned when we arrived and our room was next to a very busy road. But it is quite central so that is positive. You can walk everywhere from there. So has its plusses and maybe for the money the best you can get!
A. W.I was staying in Harrington 102 in the first week of January 2018. Amazing location. Friendly staff. Forgot my laptop charger at hotel. The hotel staff got it delivered to my hotel in Sydney in very less time.
M. B.Fair price for the central location, close to Salamanca markets (5min walk) and close to car rentals where we picked up and continued our trip the next day.
The rooms are basic, smallish, but you know its a good price and it’s not a fancy hotel so you manage. The bathroom was clean and no issues for us there.
No lifts, FYI if that’s something you need.
Beds were comfortable and the tv worked, so I have no complaints as I got a decent price for it.
T. W.Excellent value for money. Stay here if you are walking the Overland Track! They stored our clean gear while we did the walk. Great room, great location and great tandoori restaurant over the road. we had the family room on the first floor, budget brilliant? Derek was great! We are 1 guy and 3 teenage boys, so we're looking for somewhere clean, cheap and comfortable.
T. K. (.I will point out the rooms are a little small, and the stairs might be a bit of a challenge for some and there's no elevator. If you are unable to climb stairs, or are used to hotel rooms the size of a house, this might not be the hotel for you. But in my case, stairs aren't an issue and I'm mainly using the hotel as a place to shower and sleep. If you're just looking for a simple hotel to sleep and are doing so on a budget, this hotel is one to consider, as a simple budget hotel it does that quite nicely. The owner is also really quite outgoing and friendly.
T. M.The room was tiny and the heater took about 25 minutes to go on because the generator was so far away. Room was ok but bathroom was way yoo small. Great location easy walk to Hobart cbd. The ***ager is a legend and this is a great hotel if you are aiming for cheap and simple accomodation.

The cleaning of the place is on my opinion to sufficient. We had to report it as soon as we entered in the room and after that they took care of it.
The rooms are a bit noisy since they are on the road and the wall are very thin so you will hear everything that happens in the room next to yours.
The service is ok, not very friendly but also kot rude at all.
B. K.My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Harrington's 102, and we can only say positive things about our room and the staff. Our room had an extremely comfortable bed, a nice tv and a.c., and the room itself was clean and well maintained. The staff was great, and the owner went above and beyond by allowing me to use his phone to find a missing passport, receiving a call that the passport had been found, and then drawing us a map so we would know exactly where to pick it up. Thank you again for the great experience on our first night in Tasmania!

T. M.Service of the *** is good. We opened our room to find a small prison like room. The room was not acceptable. The wo*** doing that was very friendly and helpful and fixed us some breakfast for the next morning as we left early. Very close to the transport hub.
M. H.It's reasonable for the price and is relatively close to most of Hobart tourist areas. The rooms are small and noisy during kitchen service, but you're not paying fortunes to stay here. It's definitely not a five star accommodation, but if you're a student or travelling on a budget then it's perfect! There's also a restaurant as part of the hotel which is allegedly quite well reviewed, they do Japanese food and I believe the place is owned and run by local Japanese residents.
T. M.The whole package was a nice surprise. Our every need was met promptly and with such friendliness. There is no parking at the hotel you need to park in metered parking on the street so try to plan to be out of town during the day if you have a rental.
T. M.The really disappointing part was the facility itself. Television didn't have much choice of channels. The walls are however paper thin and noisy guests can keep you awake as can showers at all times of the day and night. The rudeness of the ***agement was disconcerting to say the least. Small and friendly.
T. M.Greeted by a very happy and chirpy owner. The hotel had very nice rates and the rate included a buffet breakfast. *** who was there sat night had curry cooking which smelt beautiful when you used to live in an apartment block of indian students you get used to that smell.

T. M.The owners are fantastic and would do anything for you. Its quite low cost and located close the to the city centre. The lady at reception was nice. I told it should be sorted as it was organised by a lady at my work. The ***ager was exceptionally friendly and very very helpful.
