D. S.I visited Tasmania as part of a tour group, and stayed in the Quest Savoy for my final night in this beautiful state. As fate would have it, I would awake with a sore throat and, one positive Rapid Antigen Test later, would be forced to remain in the Apple Isle for an additional week.
The care and support rendered to me by the staff was of the highest possible standard. Between laundry services, regular check-ins to make sure I was OK and the speedy delivery of my Menulog orders, my COVID isolation was made considerably easier and less isolated.
Their commitment to patron well-being is to be commended, and Quest has rocketed to the top of the list of hotels I will stay in in future travels. Comfortable furnishings, competitive rates and, most importantly, caring and motivated staff make them a credit to the hospitality industry.
R. W.Spacious rooms. Comfy beds and pillows. Great for longer stays as have kitchenette. convenient location in the cbd within short walking distance to harbour.
S. O.Superb location in the heart of everything and only 5 minutes to the water and Salamanca St.
Staff was very friendly. Stayed across the road from the main building. Nice place with good space. Has a well equipped kitchen. Bed is comfy. No sound proofing at front of the room facing the street, also has gaps in the windows allowing a slight breeze into the room making it cool during the night. Bathroom is larger unfortunately with all that space the shower is quite small.
No lift so be prepared to carry your bags up a flight or two of stairs.
They do have parking unfortunately it is a 5 minute walk from the main building and being a public car park the discounted rate is still $18 overnight.
Has a washer and dryer in between levels 1 & 2 which is complimentary.
TV comes with all channels including some movie channels which is a bonus.
N. N. M.The building and apartment where clean and well maintained. The apartment was specious, the beds comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Staff were nice and helpful. The annex doesn't have a lift (which we knew in advance) but this is easily made up for by the great location and lower price. Previous reviews described the annex as poorly maintained but this wasn't our experience.
C. D.Great value apartment hotel rooms. Very convenient location just a couple of blocks for the Hobart Pier area and the CBD. Apartment was very quiet at night despite very central location. A little on the older side, but kept very clean and tidy and brilliant for short stays.

A. S.Generously sized room and fantastic location, and a super friendly/helpful receptionist. The street noise was unbearable at points however as there is little to no soundproofing and the pedestrian crossing goes off frequently regardless of foot traffic or the time of day/night. The fan in the bathroom also doesn't work resulting in an incredibly damp room and slippery tiles.
M. D.Exceptionally friendly staff, and a big thank you to the receptionist. The room was perfect, nice relaxing spa, although the movie channels could use an overhaul. Screen was stretched which made it difficult to watch. However not enough to lose a 🌟. Gotta be one of the better options of staying, as Quest is so central to everything, most places you'll need, such as shops, supermarket, restaurants, cafes, pubs etc are all within very short walking distance and under 1km or less. Cannot fault in any way. Enjoyable one night experience. 5/5
M. B.The location is perfect, it almost gets 5 stars for that alone. The in-house movie channels are good but the picture felt stretched which was distracting. Staff were helpful and friendly, rooms very spacious and comfortable and as I said it is easily one of the best located hotels.
H. Y.Lovely staff. Rooms in main building do not have windows but more modern facilities. Rooms in older building opposite the road are more homely with separate bedroom n lounge/kitchen, but no A/C in these rooms though. They did provide a fan, which was good enough for us during Jan.

The best part of this hotel is the fact that it's centrally located; only a few minutes walk to the shops, Salamanca Market, restaurants and the dock. The staff were friendly and professional. L. P.I stayed here for a work stint for about 9 nights. Executive Studio was clean and room was made everyday. The kitchen was fully equipped. However because my room was facing Collins St and there was construction happening at 6am, we would often be woken up. The crossing the road signal also beeped lots in the very early morning. Overall, a lovely stay.
