P. B.Great little country pub off the beaten track. Well worth the effort to take the time and seek it out on your way between Devonport and Ulverstone. Great meals and nice cold amber fluid.
G. H.Absolutely delicious meal in the bistro, probably one of the best pub meals in Tasmania in our month of being here.
Only downside (apparently) are the mens loos which need attention, just not cleaning but upgrading.

M. G. (.Great latte, perfect temperature and flavour balance. Egg and bacon roll had a generous amount of bacon and was also nice and hot. Good location with a rural atmosphere and easy parking, if you don’t mind getting a bit of mud on your shoes.

Each meal that passed me evoked huge food envy, they all looked amazing, fresh, generous and drool worthy.

O. G.Has a nice bakery/cafe next door to the pub. Pretty good if you don't want alcohol but can still enjoy the outdoor sitting area and right near the river. Just expect a truck passing by every 5 minutes from Harvest Moon on a weekday or sit out the back.
A. P.Went here for dinner recently after seeing it rate well online on Google Reviews and was definitely impressed! We had the carbonara, parmi's and chicken salad between us. Nice environment, really friendly staff and good prices! Definitely worth a visit. The only downside was that there was no pizza on some nights, which is why we went ...haha. Oh well!
C. W.Good coffee here with a nice selection of both savoury and sweet snacks. Friendly and efficient staff. It was very pleasant to sit outdoors at their bench tables with umbrellas. Sadly we left early due to a smoker seated at a table behind us.... such a pity that other people are allowed to pollute a pleasant dining area.
Hopefully the Australian smoking rule for dining areas will be implemented at the Bridge Hotel soon.

T. V.I have visited the bakery twice now. So good to see the hotel building getting this addition. I use the Forth Recreation ground as a stopover or rest before and after the ferry.
The bakery has the best coffee in the DEVONPORT area.
The bakery has the best pies I have had in Tasmania. Today was the delicious Parma Pie- yummy. I will be back and I recommend that everyone gives the bakery a try.
C. W.Great pub! They found a way to squeeze us in for dinner despite being fully booked out. The service has been great each time we’ve been here, they have a good range of Tassie beers, and the meals tonight (rissoles & mash, creamy prawns) were fantastic! I highly recommend a visit to this nice little pub!

J. R. M.Lead up to the Forth Valley festival...line up acts who won the right to perform on stage out the back of the hotel. Security is now paramount, wasn't a few years ago.
No glass area. Buy alcohol from tent provided.
Meals in hotel were a non event as all the tables were booked in advance. So if you want a meal book early.
Food vans in paddock out the back where the stage is. Portaloos available.

A. G.You want some Amazing food and fantastic friendly service? GO HERE! We went with 2 kids and 4 adults and the food was Delicious 😁 We requested to have our small dog with us outside and it was no problem. The Fettucini, Green Curry, Chicken Parmi and the combo skewers are all worth mentioning. If you haven't been yet, add this to your to-do visit list, you will not be disappointed!
