C. R.We've used Ciloms a number of times, and the service is great. It's like a well oiled machine - everything runs smoothly, we've never had a hitch. We always leave our vehicle in their parking lot when we're flying interstate - the rates are very reasonable and it's secure, and the free shuttle bus gets us to the airport in plenty of time for our flight, and picks us up on the return. We've stayed overnight sometimes, and the rooms are lovely and clean, and we've enjoyed a buffet meal in the restaurant - good variety of food and good value. The staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient. I highly recommend Ciloms as a very reliable service.
B. C.Perfect place to stay if you are visiting Urbnsurf (surfing wave pool) , which is directly opposite. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and well serviced and very reasonably priced. Can’t speak highly enough of the food in bistro. All dishes are well presented, big servings and at a low price. Best restaurant that I ever have come across in a 3 to 4 star hotel/motel!

S. W.I've used Ciloms to park my car when I fly out, and usually stay overnight at one end (or both ends) of my trips. Their free transport to and from the airport is regular, reliable and the driver helped me load and unload my heavy bag. He was an extremely courteous and professional man. The buffet is no longer running at Ciloms, due to covid, but the bar is a restaurant with individual meals for sale. My meal of ribs was beautiful and the staff made time to ensure I was happy with my seat, drinks and food. The rooms are always great, except this trip there was a smell that I didn't like. When I mentioned it to the desk clerk the next morning she reassured me that I should have called and received a new room, no matter the time of night. I'll definitely go back again. I trust them with their customer focused approach. .

Our room was very clean and had a great amount of space however the bed was very hard and we barely got any sleep because of it, the staff at the front were quite condescending because we are young people. I personally would stay there again for convenience purposes but not for relaxing or holiday purposes

L. W.Stayed here for 1 night, arrived at midnight and was very impressed with the free airport shuttle bus. Check in was smooth and room was a great size for our family (2adults 2 children) comfortable beds and clean big size bathroom. Had the buffet breakfast, decent selection and filled our bellies. Didn't get to use the pool as we were out the following morning. Overall it is a great hotel and very convenient location.

D. M.Like all the other reviews have stated; it's certainly nothing to write home about, I'm not likely to stay there again. BUT it does the job... a place to crash when you've got an overnight stopover.
It's not THAT close to the airport either, you have to use their shuttle bus service. Customer service was not continuous across all staff, a lot of information was not communicated effectively, and TBH of you can afford to pay a little bit more go elsewhere. There's so much more I could write, but basically, as I said it does the job.
P. J.Friendly staff and close to airport so great for late arriving flights. Pickup and drop off were included and easy. Rooms were large and clean.
c. y.Great for transit. Room is small. Staff are business orientated in general and inexperienced. Our flight is cancelled and needed help with extended stay they were cold and couldn't care less. Amenities are poor, one tiny shampoo, conditioner for 5 guests. Buffet is acceptable. Restaurant food is good. Shuttle is handy. We liked the facilities pool is spacious and pool in bar was an enjoyment.

Reception staff were lovely, old mate at the bar was a bit rude. Walls and doors seem to be paper thin because noise feels like it’s amplified (or bogans were just super prevalent). However all in all can’t really complain as the prices were decent and it’s location was convenient. Would probably be happy staying here in future.
A. S.Very convenient location with a regular shuttle bus to the airport. The facilities were fine but felt a bit lacking for the price of the room. You're definitely paying for the location rather than anything else. No complaints though. The bed was really comfortable and the whole room was clean, but it was quite basic. The buffet was edible, albeit lacking options for a coeliac. Would definitely stay here again.

Used the hotel shuttle bus to get to the airport. Rooms were comfortable, and food was ok. Great option if you want a more affordable option that is still relatively close to the airport.

A.My first impressions of the place weren't great. I was terrified that I booked the hotel from hell. But it was pleasant. A little dated but pleasant. The room was clean and the sheets were nice and crisp but the place does need a good upgrade. Overall it was a good place to crash for the night

We were surprised that how they kept Rooms and toilets so clean.Staffs were very friendly.
We stayed there for 2 nights and stay was really great.Due to covid restriction,restaurant wasn’t open during day time but by evening they had room service .Airport shuttle was really helpful and we booked a service for early morning 2 AM and they provide the service without any hesitation .there were no enough uber service that time, without the airport shuttle service it could have been a nightmare for us.
Really recommends to everyone ,worth your money and time.

P. W.Great for the price, and I would happily stay here again. The building feels a bit basic, especially in the corridors, but beyond that the staff and amenities are wonderful. The pool is surprisingly large, the sauna is fantastic and I highly recommend it to help refresh you after a long flight, the gym equipment is good, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only negative I found was the adjacent restaurant is a bit simple for how much they charged for the buffet, and it doesn't open early enough for breakfast (6:30a) considering the lodge specifically caters for airport travelers - however it is apparently run by different people and as such is just consequential and not a reflection on the lodge itself.
T. H.Great place to stay as it is close to the airport and they provide a 24 hour free shuttle from and to the airport. Food is also quite nice. Only thing that disappointed me was the Wi-Fi which was not the best.
C. K.We had to get to the airport early so we stayed here. We were pleasantly surprised. The room is clean and equipped with all you would need. Coffee and tea making equipment, a microwave. Iron and ironing board. A comfortable bed and pillows. Great value for early travellers.
E.Good clean basic accommodation. Has a pool and gym. We had a room service dinner and desert that was delicious. Easy check in and out. Plus love having the complimentary mini bus pick up and drop off to airport.

The food in the bistro was so-so (tasty, but the 'red curry' was in no way a Thai dish) and the meals were quite expensive. They have a buffet option, but the night we stayed, there was a private function so it was not available. Friendly service and also had a heated pool

Great for families. My 4 year old son and 7 year old daughter enjoyed every minute and the staff made them feel comfortable and spent time communicating with them and getting to know them in general conversation. Best hotel in Melbourne ! Ps the garlic prawns and rice are to die for!

J. K.The bed was comfortable, the room was clean however the noise carried through from the hallway like there was no door and the light from the hallway was so bright underneath the door that I didn't need any lights to clearly see and avoid furniture at 5am in the morning.

I. S.Very basic but comfortable room with sparkling clean sheets and very comfortable beds, clean shower! The room has good insulation and you can't hear the sound of airplanes at all! Pick up service is not bad.

N. E.Very convenient for an early flight, the rooms are clean, not much in them but all we were after was a bed anyway. The free shuttle service is very convenient however it was a bit stressful that the time we would have preferred to catch the bus was already taken, and we weren't really to know that until we arrived at the hotel. This meant we needed to either take an earlier bus (meaning we had only 7 hours in the hotel) or take one that would be pushing our luck with getting to the departure gate on time. The walls and specifically the doors in the rooms are paper thin - you can hear everything. Some sound proofing on the doors into the hallway, or at least a reminder to guests entering the corridor to be quiet (particularly at night hours) would go along way. Overall a please transfer stay that i can recommend
L. F.Great hotel. Lots of nice facilities and the airport staff are very lovely and accommodating. I got the dates wrong on my booking and we ended up arriving a day early 🤦 Anyhow they were so friendly and accommodating and fixed it right up at no extra cost. Alse my 3yo daughter accidentally got her fingers jammed in our car door and was screaming the house down and the reception staff got her ice and then bought up more after we checked into our room. Then one of the other staff members went and brought her back a little box of chocolates. It was very sweet. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

L. L.Large rooms, that are clean. Shower was horrendous, with ice and lava the only settings. The restaurant was good awful- some seriously questionable dishes. Staff(reception) was nice. I got a half price deal and it JUST seemed ok value- I certainly wouldn't pay full asking price! Location is not as close to airport as you think: can will be about $30.
P. D. G.Rooms are new and fresh. Amenities are good, latest Samsung TVs, bathroom is decent size. The bar and bistro are great. The front desk is no fuss efficiency. But the location is really the boon docks. Parts of the motel are in need of refreshing. For proximity to Melbourne airport, 5 out of 5. The roads are new and Google maps are yet to be updated.
P. M.Nice and close to the airport. Its next door to Melrose airport parking so drop your car off there an walk next door. WIFI, elevator. Rooms modern and clean. You are not staying for the views but proximity to the airport. They have a complimentary shuttle service to airport that you can book when you check in.

T. M.I recommend a room on the ground floor. The cleaning crew always had a smile in the morning and very adaptable as we had a family member sick and staying in the room as they recovered. Everything is clean, neat and tidy, even if a bit dated. Easy to arrange pick up on return.

Then they said they had noticed the pumps were off earlier in the day. This is after giving me a towel to use in their. Next time it would be good to know this beforehand. Not worth the money but it is very close to the airport so the convenience is nice.

Wifi didn't extend outside the room and the bar/restaurant doesn't have it. Disappointing. Air con in room was a bit noisy. I'd chose a room away from the parking lot and street next time.

T. M.We stayed in the triple room and I must say they're plenty of room for the all family. We used their airport shuttle and left our car there at a very cheap rate. All the staff I encountered was just great. Makes all travelling when flying from Melbourne so much less stressful.
C.Very near the airport, convenient and fuss free. It's a non smoking hotel, but could still smell cigarette smell entering our room though all doors and windows closed. Wi-Fi was stable. Doors and walls are thin, got woken up when people were leaving at 5am in the morning and talking in the corridor. Free parking available.

w. c.we booked standard twin room, we got two bed queen size, with 8 pillows, more than enough for us (2adult+2child), the bedroom is so spacious. this hotel has indoor heated swimming pool and sauna facility, too! we can reach this hotel by bus, closed enough with "Strathconnon Sq bus stop". recommended to anyone who want to catch early flight but want to have a nice sleep, just 5 minute to airport using free shuttle by the hotel (upon request).

I. H.The location is extremely convenient to the airport. The reception lady was very friendly and she offered an early morning wake up call and a courtesy bus ride to the airport. The room and ensuite were good sized and very clean, the bed was comfortable.

Buffet offering at the Restaurant within the Lodge was fabulous! Food was plentiful, fresh and a great variety. Staff had character and personality and overall wonderful dining experience.
Only negative being so close to the airport you hear the planes regularly from the room.

M. P.Stayed here twice utilising the park and go onsite car parking. The rooms are basic but clean and tidy. Beds are comfortable and the ambience is generally good. The pool and spa is fantastic. The shuttle service to and from the airport is brilliant and I would have no hesitation in recommending this place.

The only issue we had was that the room was stuffy and hot and the old style aircon in the wall was very noisy, so we had a hot, sleepless night! Very nice staff

N. T.Good no frills stopover when arriving in Melbourne. Rooms are at bit tired and cleanliness wasn't great. Had to wedge the sliding doors with a towel to stop them rattling in the wind all night. Very handy shuttle to and from the airport (call them from the hotel phones at the airport) and half decent wi-fi.
