When staying at a Hilton you expect a certain standard and the DoubleTree did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the location excellent.
The area surrounding the hotel has an excellent selection of restaurants but I ended up eating in the hotel lobby restaurant. The food was very good and again the service was quick and professional.
In the morning I had the breakfast. This was very a standard breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon sausages, cereals, coffee, pastries etc. All of the food was fresh and it was a pleasant way to start my day.
Overall I was happy with my stay and will definitely be returning in the future.

Quite often it’s the little things that mean a lot. I was really looking forward to returning to the Doubletree, as this stay was to celebrate my birthday.
We arrived about ¾ of an hour before official check in time and our room was not available, so we went for a walk and left our mobile number. We received no phone call however, so waited until well after three o'clock to return. Luckily, our room was ready.
The hotel itself is fine. It’s an easy walk to public transport, shops and restaurants.
There’s a good choice of room types. The skyline, river view room is of ample size for two people, is simply but comfortably furnished and offers great views of many Melbourne icons.
As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was given a nice room upgrade and continental breakfast, which was okay, but nothing to write home about.

Such a stand out hotel! Lobby and restaurant is stunning and the location is perfect for tourists to Melbourne. When you arrive you'll be greeted with a delicious warm biscuit and a smile from the staff. The rooms are clean and standard but the bathrooms are trendy and elegant. Would highly recommend!

This hotel has a great location right by Flinders street station. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped and staff are helpful.
I think you can probably find a cheaper non-branded hotel, but the Doubletree is still a good choice.

Absolutely brilliant not only hotel but quintessential Melbourne experience in the heart of it all. Above all the sense of welcome and friendly staff a highlight. My family and I loved our stay so much and will definitely be back 🙏

The DoubleTree is on Flinders Street and a great location for the river precinct. The rooms are all modern and it's good to see things like power outlets with USB plugs. The staff were all very friendly and even accommodated a room change without fuss. Just be aware that you won't get a view over Flinders Street Station unless you're on one of the upper 3 or 4 floors so check what you book.
It can get a little noisy on a Friday and Saturday nights with hoons on the street but the rooms are reasonably sound proofed.

Anke, kieran, josh, faith and anu has to be commended for their customer service skills and dedication to their amazing service. They made my stay very memorable for sure. Will definitely come back and will not hesitate in recommending this location.

Room not huge but big enough. Very clean and modern. Staff very helpful and approachable. A very pleasant stay.

Location Location.
I booked this beautiful hotel unknowing of just how perfect it was going to be. The occasion was for my wife's birthday and a belated anniversary. We stayed in the King River View room (top floor) and it more than lived up to its name. A short stroll to Degrave's cafes and perfectly centred between the cities abundance of restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs. The hotel staff were perfect from booking through to checkout and made the whole stay as carefree as possible.
Although likely a case by case gesture, it can't go unmentioned that the staff at the Doubletree also went the extra mile with a personal message and well wishes on arrival to our room, a bottle of wine and late checkout which was a very welcome addition after a late and fantastic evening.
If you're a bit of a sweet tooth then beware! Complimentary warm cookies on demand 24/7 is a great touch and we indulged more than thrice in our overnight stay!

A bed a shower and a loo. It's the little things that drag a great experience down to an it's ok experience, like no cold water in the room fridge, the sugar police leave 2 sachets total for cups present, this place is ok for a night but not for a week.

- Very clean rooms
- very accessible from Flinders train station
- Within a walking distance to the Melbourne unique sights!
- Very professional team
Would recommend anytime!

I made a booking which suddenly had to be cancelled and called to enquire about a refund. Emily noted my concern, prioritised my issue and sought to reassure me as quickly as she could, remaining calm and clear headed throughout the call. I appreciated her level of professionalism and service.
M. M.
What a beautiful hotel. Everything has been amazing, from the room to the service the wonderful staff offer. We will definitely be back!
R. S.
The best hotel in the city, straight across the road from Flinders Street station, and young and Jackson's just up the road, the rooms were spacious and very clean, staff are lovely, this is my 3rd stay, and I definitely will be back!!
M.
Great service, clean rooms and perfect location. I would stay again.

Great service, rooms are fantastic and the cookie is as good as they say 👌

If you're considering staying at the Hilton Doubletree on your time here in Melbourne - you're en route to making an absolutely brilliant choice! You'll walk off the absolute centre of Melbourne's transport network to the rest of the city/state into an open plan foyer to the smell of freshly baked cookies (yes, they're for you) and be greeted one of the incredibly friendly Hilton grade professional staff behind the desk. They'll check you in to one of the rooms (if you want a spectacular stay try the 2 story inner city loft - or the suite) where you can take advantage of a 55 inch plasma TV and a bed that asks the question "Can I ever sleep on anything else again". If that's not enough to sell you, I can tell you with absolute confidence in the 5 months I stayed here that above the fresh cookies, service and wonderful rooms - that this place will feel more like home than a hotel. If you're new to the city it's a brilliant launching point because the theatre district is just down the road, the casino is just over the road and the river, the iconic Italian food Degreaves street (Brunetti's is down the end - just go, trust me) is adjacent to the hotel and the free tram network is right outside the door. The team is full of character and if you're unsure about booking just give them a call and they will go above and beyond to help you out. Don't forget to register for Hilton Honours beforehand (if you haven't already) for some extra perks and points towards a free stay while you're there.
Go on, book it - you won't regret it

Comfortable, clean, welcoming & close to all things in Melbourne's CBD...ideal for 1 night stay over before jumping on a flight
K. 1.
Conveniently located hotel opposite Flinders station and close to main streets for work or shops.
Staff friendly and rooms clean and tidy although some of the smaller side but good view from some
B. D.
Staff were very attentive. Coffee and cookies were very nice. Space was clean and nicely presented.
D. P.
Exceptional hotel at a great price. The room was well designed, modern, had a nice modern TV and bluetooth speaker, pod coffee machine, lovely bathroom. I couldn't have wanted more. The bed and linen was super comfortable. Staff were polite and efficient. Loved my stay here.
S. T.
Great service very ,welcoming, comfortable.
Just noisy street noise I'll take ear plugs next time I go to the Double Tree Hilton Hotel
G. H.
Location is perfect, everything you would want to see or explore is within walking distance. The staff were all incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. The lobby is beautiful and always smells incredible (from the delicious cookies). The room was great, very clean and the style/finish is beautiufl. A perfect place to stay for a weekend visit to Melbourne.
B. G.
Had a great stay for three nights, the mini break we needed
D. N.
I could not fault service, room, breakfast buffet. Everything was perfect which I know is a big call. Manager Hayden was professional and very friendly. The ladies on the reception each day were very helpful. I needed tape to tape up sole of my shoe and the receptionist went looking for tape and found some. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Love from The Whitsundays.
K. Y.
A cozy hotel with friendly and professional staff at a convenient location!

Nice clean hotel, great location, just a few booking in issues
J. B.
Hotel is great but it does not feel like a Hilton Hotel, more like a boutique hotel
A. L.
This is a great hotel and the staff are wonderful. Was made to feel welcome the money I stepped through the front door. Rooms are a little small, but it is in a great location. Breakfast was very good
B. S.
Great spot with a nice comfortable room and very very friendly and helpful staff thanks
W. W.
Even though I reckon our room upgrade could've been better as we were diamond members, we still thoroughly enjoyed the view towards the Flinder St Station. The a la carte breakfast was good and they were able to cater to my dietary requirements. Dinner downstairs was good too, especially the wild rice cauliflower salad. Overall a good staycation.
j. w.
Loved this hotel. From the cookie upon check in to the friendly receptionist staff. Great location as well. As expected from the Hilton brand. One tip though, avoid adding breakfast. There are so many amazing breaky places nearby. It would be a shame to miss them.
O. S.
Hotel in the best location of Melbourne on Flinders Street. Ideal for business trips, great breakfast.
S. M.
Great hotel and quality service will be back again for next years melbourne marathon !
H. p.
Clean, stylish with massive bathrooms coupled together with probably the best location for a hotel I've stayed in in Melbourne. Also, the little things like the Crabtree and Evelyn complimentary toiletries and the use of umbrellas from the front desk, you know because it's Melbourne.
D. F.
Extremely well positioned and clean and comfortable with professional, attentive staff.
R. C.
This is the first time I stayed at DOUBLETREE by HILTON , we had 2 rooms, service was exceptional especially from the front Desk Manager Joshua tan ,very professional well done . Rooms very clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious , will be back again .
E. S.
Awesome place! Staff were fantastic and so friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Close to Flinders station.
C. P.
Make me feel like at home. Excellent and friendly staff, housekeeping. Location close to everything. Hotel areas were clean and neat. 100% recommended, for sure I’ll be back.
T. W.
Right from the beginning not only was the reception area warm, welcoming and friendly so were the staff. Hayden in particular sent my husband a few messages in the two days we were there checking how our stay was. Room, though on the smaller side was modernly appointed with a nice bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and cosy. Room dark. Only negative was thin walls and no foxtel. Location was perfect just around the corner from Degraves Lane
andthe tram right outside.
T. H.
Staff are terrific, room ok, view magnificent
R. H.
Staff at this place are great, I've stayed several times and they've always been friendly and can't do enough to help out.
Rooms aren't huge, but are big enough for a few nights stay. Food choices are ok but nothing mind blowing.
Decent breakfast, although it can get busy and when it does the staff can struggle to keep up (more so with the current COVID measures), but they do their best to keep things moving.
Location is perfect for the CBD and surrounds, parking at Flinders Gate (Wilson Parking) or 300 Flinders (Secure Parking) are close by. Current Metro Tunnel works mean Flinders Street is closed, so check which car park you're parking in, as there's one each side of the closure, so you need to approach from the correct direction.
F. A.
Hilton standards, convenient location with access to public transport and plenty of restaurants. Wonderful brand new rooms. Clean with friendly and helpful staff. Look no further!
A. V.
Convenient location, fabulous staff and comfy rooms

I wish I could give 5 stars and it is so close but my latest visit was not what I have experienced previously. Let’s start with the not so good, not bad but not what I have experienced before.
On arrival I could smell the glorious smell of Doubletree cookies which is always so welcoming! The first issue I found there was no clear Hilton Honours check-in line, although I got served quickly it was just something that was missing. The person who checked me in was friendly enough but needs to learn to slow his words down, he had a strong accent was hard to understand at times. I also had to remind the staff member to get me a cookie (I love the cookies!) unfortunately this wasn’t as warm as what they used to be and seemed a little stale but tasted good none the less!!
I arrived in my room to find a nice big spacious room with great Flinders St views! the bathroom was well appointed however house keeping seemed to forget to provide shampoo and conditioner, didn’t need it but something I noticed that was missing. I also found that I didn’t have my welcome bottles of water which appeared while I was out. It still a small thing that could be rectified quickly.
I had the cheese burger from room service which I thoroughly enjoyed, they even give you tomato sauce for the chips, a small thing that I really appreciate anywhere!
I always enjoy staying here and will be back but small things that are little issues have to be mentioned to allow the hotel to be aware and rectify to return it to that 5 star experience.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location! I haven't had a bad experience with DoubleTree so far, and their Flinders Street location is no exception. The room we stayed in was beautiful, newly renovated and had everything we needed for our short stay. Breakfast in the morning was well worth it, and of course the promise of the Hilton cookie is enough to bring me back again!
M. J.
Enjoyed our lovely stay at Double Tree Melbourne, we arrived quite late due to a delayed flight, but staff were incredibly accommodating and swift in getting us into our room and welcoming us with delicious warm cookies! Some of the rooms seem to have restricted views, but sizing of the bed and rooms itself are decent sized and spacious. We also enjoyed our later than usual check out of 12pm. Thanks for a great stay.
P. S.
Pretty average. Most guest rooms are quite small. Dessert is the best - it was supposed to be a chocolate moose but came as something much nicer. Dinner service in restaurant was really poor. Welcome at check-in good. I remember the breakfast to be quite good as it has a self juicing bar.
J. R.
Room was nice and clean and the place seems well maintained. Got a free cookie when i checked in which was a good bonus as i was hungry. The reception staff were helpful. The room i was in had a good and clean iron and board. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided with a kettle. You can request different types of pillows if the ones provided aren't comfortable enough for you. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend a couple of nights.

Nice hotel. The lobby is very cool with an open floorpan, fun bar, and nice place for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We booked a standard room which was very small and then found out they had a Harry Potter suite, which we booked right away and changed rooms. We really enjoyed the experience in the suite, they make it fun and special! The location of the hotel was great and close proximity to just about everything in Melbourne.
d.
Great location, Christian the duty manager was very helpful with providing an extra bed for out room. Would love to stay again.

This was my second stay here and once again I was pleased with our stay. The location is unbeatable across the road from Flinders Street Station. There are so many restaurants within a minutes walk. There is a supermarket next door, and of course all you want in Melbourne is easily accessible by trams across the road. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Despite possibly the worst view I have had in a hotel (a building next door which was in poor condition and within arms reach), so we kept the curtains closed. This however meant the room was quiet and dark which was great for sleeping. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There is not a lot of storage space, but the room was efficient if you are not going to be spending a lot of time there. The gym is small but adequate. We didn't eat there, but did love our warm cookie and chocolates on arrival.
M. M.
First, great service from Nikki at the front desk throughout my 4 night stay! Interesting place. I was led to believe this was a new hotel, but on arrival it was clear it's an old hotel that's been redone.... but nicely. Cozy hotel lobby with integrated bar/ restaurant. Everything just out the front door: 7/11 at the corner, full on grocery store 25 meters the other way. Flinders St Station directly opposite. Food choices GALORE! The room wasn't huge, but it wasn't tiny either, and had everything I needed: very comfortable king bed, desk, comfortable sitting chair, nice bath, robes. Not much of a view from my window, and do be aware that some rooms have NO window. Recommended! Rate I paid: US$100 Thank you Nikki!
B. B.
Excellent boutique hotel close to everything you need
M. B.
The room was modern and clean albeit a little small. Travelled for my partners birthday and they left some wine and chocolates waiting in the room for us which was nice.
The location is very convenient but being next to a major train station the street was a little bit seedy at times
Housekeeping could be improved a little with only one bath towel left for us on one of the nights we stayed but otherwise the room was beautifully clean when we got back in the evening. The staff were always happy to help and all were very friendly. The wifi costs a massive $20 per 24hrs so keep that in mind if you plan on doing work in the room.
R. N.
Staff were nice and friendly - most importantly, the beds were so comfortable! Could not fault the service. Oh...did I mention there was complimentary warm cookies upon entry.
In the room we had, the bathroom layout was a little annoying as there is no pan for the shower and only a partial screen, meaning no matter how hard you try, the water goes everywhere (how much do we all love long hot showers in hotels!)
C. C.
Very nice hotel. The decor is tasteful and the toiletries are great. The staff are really nice and give you a warm cookie upon check in! The location is very central as well. Definitely recommend this hotel, although it can be a bit pricey in the peak summer period
J. D.
Stayed hereast Sunday night. Pretty awesome hotel with a great location. Check in and out was smooth and the desk staff were nice. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were really nice. Chelsea was working the front bar and she was awesome. The room was really clean and comfortable. The shower was nice and hot with very steady water pressure. Only minor nit was that the housekeeping staff were very loud and slamming the door into the housekeeping room on our floor at very early hours in the morning.
M. H.
Service really something of a dying art, but the Double Tree by Hilton Melbourne has beautiful service 😍
R. S.
The hotel location is great!
At check in we requested a quiet room and the person who checked us in gave us a room facing Flinders street station, the room was very noisy and we didn't complain as we had 2 nights and we didn't want to move room after checking in at 11pm at night.
Looked like the guy who checked us in it was too much effort to give us another room.
Our room wasn't cleaned after the first night and housekeeping left a card at the door.
We didn't complain to the hotel.
But we did expect better service from a hotel especially when it is a Hilton hotel branding.
Bathroom are bit small but a nice size room and close to shops and restaurants.
Haven't made up our minds if we would stay there again.
We were expecting better service from this hotel especially we are Hilton Honour members.
S. V.
Good location, clean hotel, friendly staff. Some rooms have no windows and even those with one, there is another building 3 feet away, so there's no view and not much natural light. Good for sleeping in though.
R. S. B.
I stayed at the Doubletree Flinders Street while on a work trip to Australia back in March of 2020. The staff was very warm and welcoming, and made my stay excellent. The room was very modern and comfortable. The hotel is quiet. The restaurant is ok, but a bit limited in food options. The restaurant staff made up for it with impeccable service. There are a LOT of restaurants within walking distance. The Flinders St station (train) is right across the street. Hotel is in the heart of downtown, and is in a good location. I will definitely be staying here again, and I do recommend this location.
L. W.
Nice hotel with updated fixtures, clean rooms and friendly service. I had an internal room with no window and for a single night it's fine, and as I'm light and sound sensitive it's great. But it is still a little weird in the morning when you wake up and don't get the natural sunlight. That said I would probably stay again if it was just a single night and I was travelling for work and leaving early in the morning. I had a great night's sleep.
D. J.
Excellent rooms! We stayed in an internal room, it's good since I don't like the sunlight to wake me up. Nice and quiet, amazingly comfortable. Staff are kind and let us check in a little early so we could drop our bags and get ready for a concert. If you are looking for a really nice room that isn't too expensive in the heart of Melbourne CBD then look no further then here!
M. P.
A very clean, very modern hotel. Not the largest rooms in the city, but certainly one of the cleanest. Very very happy with our short stay, we will definitely return. Even the well stocked bar on ground floor is clean and cheerful. Well done!
S. L.
Super nice staff. Rooms are Europe small but clean and more then adequate for one. My issue was my room was low floor and rooms I think for from X01 to X15. I was closer to the #15 room and outside is an alley... an alley with construction of some sort... not that bad noise but noticeable. So basically I would stay away from like 212 to 215 and 312 to 315 and so on... but seriously the noise never woke me up...
Also as an hhonors Gold which gets you free continental breakfast... never before in over 15 years plus had any hotel ever charged me for the difference of continental to full breakfast. Now understand I can have upto 2 people in room for free continental and I was only one but this hotel his me up for $10(AUD) to get eggs, bacon, and a few other hot items... they must be hurting for as we say in the USA every nickel.
They were very nice and every evening delivered two bottles of water and gave me a coupon for free beer or wine at the bar every day I was there.
Very good location if you want to be near things... I definitely would go back to this hotel if in the area. Thanks to all the great staff from the front desk to the breakfast people. nice job all around!!!
S. R.
Friendly staff, great bar and coffee, room was spotless and bed was super comfy... Highly recommend
D. L.
Very nicely updated so that the lobby is a real treat. The rooms are well sized and the update makes the hotel feel modern and comfortable. One issue is that the room was facing a brick wall and shadowed in all day. The rooms and halways on the floor give away the age of the bulding. Recommended for travellers with a budget but enjoy some glamour
d. a.
I had a great stay! The staff are friendly, the bar and restaurant down stairs is great. Unfortunately I didn't get a high end room on my most recent stay but I've been in their river view rooms and they are to die for. If you're going to park, you'll need to use the secure parking lot at 300 flinders, and take your ticket with you on checkout.
A. L.
Not what I expected as I never paid attention that there was a Doubletree by Hilton hotel just opposite the Flinders Street Station. Stayed for one night. Very good location. Had a room with queen sized bed that was comfortable and clean. Was not noisy despite the metro tunnel works close by. Staff at reception was very friendly and was given a cookie upon arrival.
D. B.
conveniently located and friendly staff. will stay again
B. W.
Acceptable but probably wouldn’t return
Rooms very small and high price paid
Ordered several items for delivery on arrival but never saw them.
Parking is 1 block away with no valet so inconvenient with toddlers and baggage going to 6th floor of paid parking garage one block away.
Rooms are modern and we had a great view of the Flinders St Station and river. I’m just used to a large suite with bathroom more than 5ft from the bed.
Police sirens woke us up twice during the first night and trains are moderate noise level for light sleepers.
Breakfast was good with ample selection and room service was awesome - very fast and good quality. Compliments to them for the fastest room service we’ve had for ages - and we used it each night of our stay.
Overall I feel my rating to be fair for what we experienced.
K. J.
Location is fantastic and central to many of Melbourne's tourist attractions. Service from all the staff from the reception desk, to the waiting staff, to the room attendants is warm, pleasant, and welcoming. The lights in our bathroom weren't working when we arrived in the room, but when notified, the hotel staff wasted no time in fixing the issue. Only disappointment was the lack of a view or balcony from our room, and the one window in our room doesn't open (not a maintenance issue, window is sealed shut). Aside from that, the stay has been fantastic and the hotel will even validate your parking ticket at a local secure park for a fee of $30 if parking doesn't come with the room. Lots of nearby food options on Flinders street, including the hotel's in-house restaurant.
S. W.
Excellent location, just seconds away from the tram stop. Cookies were given on arrival and on check out! Very friendly and helpful service staff. Rooms were very clean albeit basic. Also loved the range of teas available in the room. Highly recommended.
M. H.
Great place to stay if you want to be in the city and close to major public transport. Pleasant staff and clean hotel
F. C.
AMAZING!! Fantastic location, great service, great staff and fantastic rooms with superb river views. I had a huge room and even a loo with a view lol. Continental breakfast was buffet style with so much variety and a cooked breakfast available if desired. I have done many, many hotel inspections around the world in my former career and this hotel simply ticks every box. Highly recommended and would be my first choice upon returning to Melbourne.

We stayed in the accessible king room at the DoubleTree for a long weekend away from Sydney. I loved our stay and would be happy to stay again. The staff here are all amazingly helpful and professional from the reception to the restaurant to the floor staff. Our room was very clean and quiet and comfortable. However, it is worth noting that most tour groups/bus transfers won't stop at the hotel but two blocks away (it's an easy, flat walk but not ideal with luggage), and the amenities are fairly basic in that they don't supply any electronics such as hair straighteners and movies are pay per play, plus we found we ran out of toiletries such as toilet paper but the staff are helpful in correcting any issues with that. The location is unbeatable with easy access to the train station, the free tram, supermarkets, and eateries.
M. N. M.
Excellent service and staff who are always willing to help. Dealt with the manage named Garry and a couple other staff and they went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed to make us comfortable. Rooms are a little small and there is no executive lounge as Hilton's usually have but besides that I can honestly say no other complaints.
L. H.
Acceptable would be how I would describe my experience. Rooms were small but not cramped. Unfortunately we had a room which had a tiny little window and looks directly at the side of another building - so virtually no natural light and we were told at check in “we’ve upgraded your room”. The service from staff was very good, happy and friendly. The location is second to none.
t. s.
Loved this hotel! The front desk is super welcoming and accommodating! We arrived early and had our bags held and delivered to the room while we got a bite to eat. The room was bright and had a large window looking out onto flinder station and the yarra river. The bathroom was large and spacious redone in a industrial look which is nice! They have a pillow menu which is great however their firm is the best one for those wanting any type of support. The amenities are nice when a blow dryer that has all the right settings. The gym is lack luster compared to other hotels in the area and breakfast leaves something to be desired. Overall great stay with location and the things we used!!!
J. B.
Excellent hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room is modern and very clean, bed is comfortable. Buffet breakfast is plentiful and delicious. It's a very modern and gorgeous hotel. We are really enjoying our stay and we will definitely recommend it to friends as well as stay here next time we are in Melbourne.
M. M.
I work near by and when i have the chance I get into town early and chill with the buffet breakfast. It’s funny I’ve travelled around the world For business and pleasure and depending on who was fitting the bill Ive stayed at a mix of luxury hotels, back packer dives and everything in between.
The coldness I receive when I come in to have breakfast and am not a guest is quite funny. It’s only from the senior staff (restaurant/hotel managers) Who can’t even force a fake smile for me. Not realising the money I pay for breakfasts over the course of a year is worth more to them than the couple who are in for the weekend to watch the tennis. Really they should take a leaf from their serving staff and kitchen staff who are always super friendly. They are the saving grace as to why I come back at all. Being busy is never an excuse in a inner city hotel, it’s your job to be busy, customer service is always important and when your ground and floor staff are doing better than the senior team there’s problems.
L. M.
When you first walk into the lobby there is a warm welcoming smell. During check in you discover this smell is the complimentary biscuits handed out. This might only be a biscuit but it is matched by the service.
The room was great with a beautiful view of the iconic Flinders Street Station. Loved the Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries.
Probably one of the most central and convenient hotels to laneways and public transport. Can’t recommend enough.
L. R.
Modern hotel in a great location. Check in and check out process was swift, and the staff was very friendly. Room was on a smaller side. However, the room featured modern design with a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was great with lots of selections, including smoked salmon, eggs, hash browns, dumplings, fruit, variety of juices, espresso drinks, etc. I enjoy savory breakfast, so this worked very well for me. Cereal and donuts were also available. The hotel is within a walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, upscale shopping area (if that’s what you are into), botanical garden, etc. One downside is that valet parking is not available. The parking garage is very close though.
B. A.
Fantastic service provided throughout the entire stay. Check in was a breeze, with the cookie and water a lovely touch after we had battled Melbourne traffic to get there. Room was a little cosy, but didn't feel cramped. Plenty of features and facilities to keep us happy. Breakfast was fantastic, they had a wide range of items, all tasty and filling.
K. T.
The location is probably the best part of the hotel, located right in the CBD with multiple options for public transportation, free tram rides, walking distance to cafes, food, malls, the river. The reception staff were professional and polite, getting to our rooms were fuss-free. Rooms were decent and definitely above-average, but nothing spectacular. Toilets were well designed but smaller.
C. H.
Superb city centre hotel. Very comfortable, clean rooms, excellent friendly and helpful staff. This is our 3rd visit to this hotel as our stay in Dec 17 and Jan 18 were so nice. Breakfast very good with a mix of healthy and decadent choices to suit many tastes including our fussy whole foods plant based ones! Excellent hotel will visit again I'm sure.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite nice, stayed in a Hilton Honours room, with a coffee pod machine and a mint chocolate. At least Hilton Honours rooms come with a free cookie on arrival. Bathroom is roomy, and the beds were comfortable. Location is great, though with no sign, you can walk right past it and not see it. Didn't park, but I think it's available.
K. E.
Inside it's a great-looking and beautiful hotel. The restaurant/dining area is also well-appointed and I love the coffee. That said, Flinders Street itself is starting to go downhill. The outside street area is not just packed but rather dirty. It's a pity that the city and state government aren't doing more.
J. S.
My second stay now, found both rooms to be clean and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful but if you order eggs you need to be patient a bit. Location is great and staff was friendly.
C. C.
Clean and neat but way to small and cramped. Beds with rollers are a pain when having sex.
B. B.
What a great hotel in a super location. Construction all around this quiet and peaceful oasis. Highly recommended.
N. D.
Good for what is it is, the budget chain of the Hilton group. Found staff to be friendly, hotel in a good location for walking to Collins St etc. Supermarket next door so great for getting snacks for the room. In general pleasant for a quick visit but in now way luxurious compared to Crown or Grand Hyatt...but not it's not meant to be
J. W.
Stayed here for two nights on holiday.
The location is superb if you don't have a car and arrive via the train station or by walking. In front of a very busy street so quite difficult to drop off passengers.
Rooms were spotlessly clean (props for that) and toilets were of good quality but let down by the room size.
Were given heaps of benefits being a gold hilton member, including free brekkie (continental only not hot). And an upgrade (albeit views only).
Kitchen staff were friendly and attentive, and brekkie was decent and with plenty of choices.
It is a good cbd hotel but not particularly exceptional. I guess it's constrained by its space as well.
Pros: given gold benefits; spotlessly clean and comfortable beds
Cons: small, on busy (slightly dodgy street) but right in the middle of the action
M. S.
This hotel is clean, modern, and quite hip! Having trouble with the bathroom lights? Make sure your key card is inserted properly! The hotel staff are helpful in guiding you around the city from the centrally located hotel and happy to provide dining and shopping recommendations.
c.
Awesome low key version of the Hilton. Very urban. Great price. Fantastic for business trips or a weekend away whilst in the heart of everything.
s. a.
Great location ..large room with comfy king sized bed..
The wine and cookies were a lovely touch and as it was easter the gingerbread bunny was a very sweet gesture.
Unsure what people are complaining about as we enjoyed our stay and for the price and location thought it was very reasonable..we will be back.
Thanks again..
D.
Super friendly staff, breakfast buffet is great too. Room views are not too great with construction beginning to take place. Location is not very ideal either. Dirty streets and unknown stores located downstairs. Literally opposite the train station and close to graffiti lane. Bit of a walk to city centre (10-15mins)
M. B.
Visited over Christmas Day. Staff could not have been more welcoming. Everyone went the extra mile to make our stay as good as possible. Breakfast good but not much variation day to day. Good location for restaurants and cricket (our primary reason for visiting). Gym well equipped.
T. K.
Located right Flinders Street, directly opposite the historic Flinders Street Station is a hidden gem. I've probably walked passed the DoubleTree a hundred times and not noticed it , luckily stumbled across it looking for a nights getaway.
We were greeted by friendly faces on arrival and presented with delicious warm chocolate and walnut cookies. Check-in was quick and painless.
The King Skyline River View room was well appointed and thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfy and the choice of pillowwas fantastic. The bathroom was no different. In room dining was reasonably priced and tasty. The hotel partner with an external massage company, who come to your room, a great treat.
We had dinner downstairs at Platform 270. Service was a bit slow, no surprise as there were only 2 people working the floor and bar. We weren't in a hurry so it was fine. Our meals were delicious.
Checkout was quick and easy, however we noticed we were overcharged later. A quick phone call resolved the issue.
I'd highly recommend the DoubleTree... especially for the price!
A. Y.
Excellent location. Staff very helpful, polite and efficient. Well presented, clean and tidy room.
R. R.
Great Service from well trained attentive staff. The location of the hotel on Flinders St is near the very heart of Melbourne city and allows easy access to trams, trains and the Casino. The sidewalk is busy, bordering on chaotic and it was always a pleasure to step back in to the comparative tranquility of the lobby and return to your room. The rooms are very well appointed but compact, probably reflecting the high central city property values. The choc chip cookies doled out by reception are always a welcomed treat with a warm mug of hot chocolate to end a hectic day.
It is strategically located just around the corner from the foodie haunt on Degraves Street or in the opposite direction on Elizabeth St, you can fill up from one of the many fast food favourites.
A definite "must return" for me the next time I'm in the city.
Y. H.
Location is fantastic - opposite the train station on Flinders Street and next to 2 tram stations, making it extremely convenient to get around! Room is large as well as clean and tidy, value for money. Customer Service is excellent. As usual, the Doubletree cookie is warm and delicious. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, do request for a higher floor as the lower floors can get noisy at night due to traffic and the crowd.
M. L.
It was good and concierge were very friendly and helpful. There was no control for air conditioning and we got cold throughout the night. The breakfast wasn't very good as most foods were under seasoned. Everything else was on par - we enjoyed the complimentary cookies upon arrival.
L. C.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Only downside side is their were doing renovations on the 14th floor so room smelt of paint and there was constant banging noises. Also you pay hundreds of dollars extra for the skyline view and the windows are extremely dirty. Honestly they need window cleaners badly, would never pay the money for that view again
J. H.
A wonderful evening stay. Staff were fantastic, although room was a little smaller than other Hilton hotels, it was nonetheless lovely, well appointed and comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was sensational.
T. M.
Service was fantastic! Very clean and good central location. Staff were helpful, and ensured that we were being well looked after throughout the entirety of our stay. Best for business travellers, couples, and friends.
K. O.
Location is great--right in the middle of everything in Melbourne. Public transport stops are right across the street, and tons of restaurants and shopping are all close by. The hotel staff are all very helpful and friendly. My room had a window, but the view was only the wall of the building next door, so ask for a city view if you can.
H. J.
The DoubleTree Hilton is fantastic as far as hotels go. It's close proximity to Flinders Street Station is great and is only a 3 minute walk from Federation Square.
The rooms are modern and provide a pleasing monochrome aesthetic. I'll admit I was a little disappointed that the window had a large map covering it that required a key to open that I wasn't given. In terms of price I'd say that it was ubiquitous to Melbourne.
The staff were very pleasant and efficient however front desk service was a little slow with 10 minutes required for both check-in and check-out. Cleaning staff went out of their way to make sure we had the speediest passage around the hotel as possible.
D. C.
This place is centrally located in Melbourne, which makes this location perfect. They also hooked me up with the free cookie and a bunch of vouchers for free drinks. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I also recommend getting a room facing Flinders Street. It's a great view.
T. M. C.
Best about the hotel is the location right in the centre of Melbourne opposite Flinders station. Friendly staff. Rooms are on the smaller side and there are quite a number of rooms which are windowless due to the buildings on both left and right to it. Medicore elite recognition especially with respect to room upgrades. Breakfast quality seems to have deteriorated from my last visit. Other than that it is what to expect from a DoubleTree.
S. W.
Newly renovated. Service was great and friendly. Noise isolation is poor. We were on the 10th floor, but could still hear music from the window on Saturday night. Can sometimes hear people coughing/talking in the room next door when quiet. Good location. View isn't great.
L. P.
Didn't stay as internet site we booked went belly up. Turned up to be told our 4 night booking was cancelled. The manager could not have been more helpful, gave us free coffee and cookie while he found us alternative accommodation. Would definitely stay when next in MelbourneThank you very grateful for your understanding and service.
S. C.
So good. Didn't spend too much time there but lots of others seem to go to the restaurant for breaking and dinner which looked pretty good.
C. H.
Although rooms are small they are spotlessly clean. Breakfast is fantastic with loads of healthy choices along with all the breakfast staples. Staff very friendly and location really convenient.
C. W.
Newly renovated hotel. Can tell it used to be an old hotel but after renovation with new shower and facilities, it's very nice and probably one of the best choices in this neighborhood in terms of price vs. quality. Location is super convenient - stone throw away from Flinder station, multiple supermarkets around, good food options close by, and walking distance to most tourist attractions. You also get free warm cookies anytime you want.
The reason I rated 4 instead of 5 is housekeeping experience wasn't great. Forgot to provide body wash but upon calling it was resolved easily.
Z. A.
The location is ideal, as it is right in front of a famous landmark of Melbourne... Flinder street train station. Hotel rooms are good, but services needs improvement. No one cleaned my room even I stayed thier two nights. Despite of many reminders... Just get promises that someone will come to sort this.
N. S.
I’ve spent probably 75 nights here since May. The people here have made being 16,000 miles away from family and friends 75% of the time feel as close to home as possible. They go out of their way to make everything as physically and emotionally comfortable as possible. Couldn’t recommend more for the solo business traveler.
J.
I like the rooms, but the food seems to be less impressive each time I visit. Maybe I'm having bad luck, but I remember it used to be pretty good a few years ago. However, it's a great location and the staff are always really pleasant.
K. B.
It was ok. Stayed two nights, the airconditioning wasnt working, a bit light on towels. We were on 12th floor and it was very quiet which meant we slept really well. Location is a bonus. Metro right next door, always convenient. Good value for money.
M. G.
Excellent location across from Flinders station and close to Federation Square and the great assortment of restaurants and shopping that Melbourne is known for. The breakfast buffet is large and offers a variety of items. Service was excellent at breakfast and at the bar for an evening drink
The rooms are clean, but small. Oddly, the shower has only a half door between it and the rest of the bathroom, so water leaks out onto the floor.
G. T.
Service is good. Very welcoming
P. S.
Excellent location, with the the kind of customer service that Hilton is well renowned for. The Doubletree Hilton has been my preferred place for stay for business and leisure trips to Melbourne. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a very central, well appointed and highly customer focused Hotel in the Melbourne CBD.
T. B.
Nice modern and clean rooms in a great location. The breakfast had a good selection. It's worth signing up to the Hilton Honours scheme so you don't have to pay for wifi.
D. C.
Nice modern room, really comfortable bed, great breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful.
S. M.
Our stay at the Double Tree was amazing. We stayed on NYE. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the room was magnificent. We were on the 10th floor and had a great view of the fireworks. It is right at Flinder Street Station so it is easy to get to and to get around. We will definitely go back!
L. R.
Seems to be a compact hotel with decent services. I was only there briefly so can't provide a detailed review. Highly accessible from Flinders Street train station. There's an exit which basically leads up on to the street right in front of the hotel.
J. C.
Great stay in a convenient location.
L. V.
Was one of the cheaper hotels in the area I was looking at and it turned out quite well. Across the road from one of the most central train stops in Melbourne I was a bit concerned about possible noise but I wasn't facing the road so my room was just fine.
I arrived quite early so room wasn't ready but got offered a different room provided I was ok with the lower level (fine by me I knew what kind of "city view" this hotel was going to offer which is a view of the station. Was offered a warm choc chip cookie upon arrival which was nice.
The only downside is there seemed to be some construction outside so I actually walked passed it the first time but other than that this place is pretty good :)
S. P.
Great location close to a range of public transport and restaurants. Comfortable bedding and modern style rooms. Staff were super friendly and also got spoilt with complimentary cookies on check-in. Great for a weekend getaway.
S. L.
I wasn't sure what to expect as we usually stay at another Hotel chain but decided to give Citigate Melbourne a go. And it was a great decision! Happy with the room, and it was clean. The staff were very friendly, both the breakfast staff and reception. The location is great just across the road from Flinders St station, but was also quiet inside the room (stayed on 7th floor) from traffic. The only minor negative was the bathroom fan running constantly which you could hear with the door closed. Would stay here again.
J. T.
Brilliant service and accommodation. Staff was very helpful with our stay and the room was everything we expected.
Comfortable with all the necessities for a perfect stay.
V. P.
Rooms were very dark no light at all yet on the website shows ALL rooms with good light. Rooms very small yet website shows very roomy. Receptionist said wi-fi available in Hotel but was only available in Hotel lobby and did not register us on the Hilton Club or whatever it's called. Breakfast was average. Will not return
B. C.
Great hotel with great service. The room we stayed in was on the smaller side. That said, more than sufficient for a couple.
As we stayed for a wedding anniversary, we were upgraded for free. Which was very nice.
A. F.
Nice location to get around Melbourne CBD. Room small no view as requested. Staff good. View across from the river off hotel
T. T.
Great location! It's on flinders street. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. It's close to tram stop and train station. The room was clean and modern. Breakfast is good with variety of choices. There was no views in my room.
K. J.
As always - a fantastic experience at a Hilton anywhere in the world. You always know that you are going to get great service, good food, a comfy bed and be made to feel part of the Hilton family. Not a great view out of my window, but then it was Flinders Street backing outwards, so not unexpected. Thank you Hilton team!
S. H.
Hilton have a poor range of options in Australia. Sadly. This has good views of Flinders Street Station.
WiFi is good but (though it is 2018) you’ll have to PAY EXTRA for it. Unbelievable.
Nice buffet breakfast; never included.
j. f.
Nice rooms and location, but car park is quite far away. Air con would not cool down even after raising it with reception. No upgrade as a diamond member but it was Australian open weekend.
N. S.
What a great stay. Such clean facilities and quite modern. The view towards Flinders St station looked quite spectacular at night. So easy to get around Melbourne from this hotel. Will definitely stay here again
T. D.
Solid hotel. Very few Hilton family hotels in the area. Views left a bit to be desired, considering I was there for 18 days and I’m a Diamond status. My room looked at a wall outside.
N. G.
You cannot beat this location. In the heart of the cbd, right next to Flinders St station, a short walk to the royal gardens. Hotel is as good as any other double tree but you just can't beat the location.
S. M.
It felt fantastic to be back at the Doubletree Melbourne. Thank you to the management and to the entire staff for making me feel welcome and for ensure the entire stay was F A N T A S T I C!!!
T. T.
A great room - but save your money and have breakfast somewhere else
P. E.
Hotel is really nice. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room is good size, comfortable, amenities nice. Restaurant is nice. Big winner is location. Right in a Melbourne spot close to everything around.
L. M.
It's fine... Nothing special. No parking on premises, you have to use public parking, but they will let you pay for it at the hotel. Breakfast was very good, big buffet with the option to get certain things made.
L. W.
The hotel is nicely located to everything next to train station and close by tram station area noise quite but busy with people|Hotel very clean our room on floor 4 was very quite so got good sleep|The front of house staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you.
K. P.
I wasnt happy with Hilton being such a big name.
1.) Our plug points on the right hand side of the bed weren't working at all
2.) Being Hilton Honour members, we requested an upgrade of our room as we were staying for 2 nights but they asked us to pay ridicolous price for 2 nights
3.) I wasnt happy with the room goodies at all.
They definitely need to work on customer service!
W. H.
Location is great but there is not much light coming from fixed window since our room is just beside other building. Other part are as expected.Shower water is very easy come to outside since there is no door for shower area.
M. M.
Had our wedding night here, staff were beyond amazing and the room was outstanding. We got back from the reception to a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates. We were made to feel really specail, 10/10
T. C.
Excellent service. Some rooms had windows looking out into the adjacent building so take note. The breakfast was disappointing and felt it could do better.
J. M. (.
Great hotel in the middle of the CBD. Doesn't have check in parking and they only give continental breakfast to gold members. Need to park at Secure parking 110m away. Rooms were big and clean, gym was decent size overlooking flinders street.
D. J.
Excellent hotel in the centre of Melbourne. Nicely appointed rooms, with functional and on trend bathroom. Continental breakfast at the in house restaurant has a wide range of breads and pastries, in addition to all the usual.
J. T.
Service was inconsistent but overall good. People at the front desk told us different things sometimes. Very good location. In the heart of the city with nice clean bedrooms.
J. B.
Very comfortable and clean room at reasonable city price. Staff always polite and attentive to customer needs. Above average restaurant, with food to cater for all requirements
J. M.
From check in to check out all was perfect.
Friendly staff, love the follow up text to check all is okay.. oh and the warm cookie is always a favorite when staying with Double Tree!
C. P.
Wonderful Experience! This hotel is in a prime location in Melbourne. Newly renovated and beautiful throughout. If possible, choose a room with the view of the train station. You won't be disappointed.
T. V. M.
The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was great and clean. Great location. Would definitely come back again.
K. F.
Clean, spacious rooms- excellent view of Flinders St Station and the city skyline! Great proximity to the CBD and public transporation. Excellent breakfast selection!
A. L.
Evrerything is mostly pleasant, with two exceptions. It's not really built for cold weather, as heating is via air conditioning and makes the room very dry and a bit drafty. The other problem is that the arrangement of the power plugs and light switches is a bit inconvenient (i had basically none by the bed). Everything else is quite nice.
D. J.
Highly recommend. Customer service perfect, rooms clean and comfortable.
D. S.
My room was very nice, and the hotel staff was helpful. It is a good deal for a business traveler. The location is central to the business district, and there is a lot of good food nearby.
M. T.
This place is really beautiful but unfortunately right in the middle of a derelict area of Flinders Street. The best thing about this hotel is the bar downstairs. You need a key card to go up the lift.
N. C.
I was visiting family members who stayed overnight at DoubleTree. I feel welcomed at the lobby with their wooden decorations. Room is in decent size and clean. It is located at a prime location, just next to Melbourne famous Degraves st.
J. M.
Room was neat and tidy, was also really nicely decorated. Reception was incredibly helpful and parking was $30 for overnight until midnight the next day even after checkout.
J. K.
DoubleTree by Hilton is very handy, right next to Flinders Street station. I wish I can give 6 stars to their customers service team. Assistant manager Hayden and Christhian upgraded our room to Skyline River view and last night with the one has balcony. Room and beautiful and tidy, most importantly is their frontline team, super friendly to give you homemade cookie and bottle of water as it was hot. Christhian knows what is Customer Service experience and that just makes our Melbourne trip tp different level. Location is very convenient to everywhere.
Thank you DoubleTree by Hilton. Highly recommended!!!
S. T.
Booked a twin share room for 2 adults plus an infant through Qantas. Was a great deal with warm cookies on arrival, daily buffet breakfast included and free in room wifi. Room was exactly like the photos and very clean with just enough room for a playmat for my 7 month old. Bathroom was basic but modern. Location was perfect directly opposite flinders street station. All staff members were extremely friendly and very helpful with accommodating us with complimentary early check in. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hestiate to book doubletree by hilton again.
G. T.
Always a pleasure coming to Melbourne and staying at the one great, quaint CBD located Hotel. Food was terrific, not to mention the cookie on arrival. All in all a great Hotel to visit regularly when in town.
D. T.
The hotel is ideally located in downtown Melbourne with many restaurants, fast food and bars nearby to enjoy your stay. Shopping is only a short walk or a free train ride away.
Staff are friendly, offering to go the extra mile to help where they can.
The rooms are clean, spacious King size beds are in the rooms and a desk is available. There's a small fridge which is thankfully empty of the usual expensive mini-bar fare, Coles is just around the corner if you fancy a snack, or eat the delicious cookies they give you on arrival. There is tea/coffee making facility's available.
No free Wi-Fi is a downer, and $14.95 for basic Internet was exorbitant for the speed. There's a premium Internet package but it's more expensive.
A great stay, but most rooms have no view, but it's enjoyable, clean and comfortable.
M. M.
My company places me in a "king room with city views" - great room and very spacious. Met my needs for an overnight work trip however the "city view" wasnt that pretty. Convenient location as well
B. T.
I feel like many places in Australia don't value customer service. I was impressed by how accommodating all the staff here were. Thank you for making this such a great stay.
M. G.
Very helpful staff. Check-in and check-out very quickly. Good quality breakfast, albeit slightly expensive. Good rooms and sporting facilities. Wifi was basic.
G. P. (.
Small rooms, dont book a room overlooking the street at the weekend as the windows are not double glazed so its bloody noisy. Staff lovely
m. r.
So I love this hotel. It's great value and if you spring for one of the top floor rooms with the view over the Yarra and the MCG it's first class. It maybe the funkiest Double Tree in the world.
P.
Location was great, very close to everything. The rooms were clean and fresh. Only odd thing was that the room didn't have a window
E. K.
Attended a conference here and the conference had food included, which was in the restaurant downstairs. The food on the first day wasn't that great, it was average spag bowl and the second day was fish and chips. Love their chocolate chip cookies though.
J. B.
Amazing to look at. Felt super inviting, well priced and staff were very friendly. Room was great and we felt comfortable. Will definitely go there again
J. D.
Really nice stay.
Friendly staff.
Opposite Flinders Street station.
Busy area..
J.
Rooms are fine, service was great.
Walls too thin though, had a neighbour have his TV on 24/7. Staff couldn't do much about it.
P. S.
Great location, lovely staff, but not rewarding for a business traveler. Little/no real perks for hhonors diamond. No minbars even in the hhonors rooms. Brekkie is pretty basic. Again, great location and for me that trumps lack of hhonors perks but if you want those just book over the water at the Hilton which is fantastic for phenonenal upgrades.
P. A.
Super friendly staff at reception and breakfast. Clean quiet room. Great central location with a nice riverside walk to the convention centre each morning.
C. M.
Fantastic location, close to everything you’d need for a weekend in Melbourne. The breakfast selection was so yummy.
B. W.
A really nice hotel centrally located. Easy access to the train station. Rooms were very good
M. L.
Clean, good service and nice warm cookies at arrival. 24x7 gym is small but sufficient.
G. T.
Friendly and cozy place for our usual coffee meetings that gives us privacy too
T. A.
Located at CBD centre, the hotel has an excellent quality build. The room is small but neat and clean. Its designed very well.
R. G.
Rooms are good and location is nice. But would have appreciated, if there were some open space. Felt a bit claustrophobic.
M. A.
Wonderful hotel located in the centre of Melbourne, easy access to other locations via tram or Flinders train station which is directly across.Staff were so friendly, polite and helpful.Loved my stay here.Thank you.
C. W.
Tiny little boutique hotel in an excellent location. Restaurant is barely big enough to accommodate guests at breakfast. Pretty average amenities.
N. R.
Amazingly friendly service and delicious, hot fresh cookies!
A. D.
Great location. Next to a lot of laneways, restaurants and public transportation. Poor air conditioning in the rooms, we were there on a warm day and it was very hot and stuffy.
R.
Amazing Service and updated comfy rooms! Had an issue with our air con which was fixed immediately! Just the type of service you'd expect from a Double Tree.
D. M. L.
The staff are dedicated to providing superb Customer Service.
The hotel is location is superb.
The rooms are above average.
The hotel is a great choice.
n. k.
Good hotel to stay when the prices are low. The higher floor with the balcony has amazing views of the city. The room prices keep changing often.
T.
Really great experience every-time I go here; staff are friendly and attentive and I even got a couple of drinks on the house last time from the friendly bar dude as a frequent customer. Also love the free cookie.
S. G.
Such comfortable beds. Fantastic staff making the stay a bit more special and location is perfect!! Close to trains, teams, food and shopping
H. M. (.
Our IKD member Dustin is very excited to be a ballkid again at the Australian Open 2020 in Melbourne. He is looking forward to being on court with many great players. Let’s hope that the air quality improves, so everything can go ahead smoothly.
S. A.
Location is great, just a center of CBD. I love the welcome cookie! The room is too small for its price but the meeting room is okay.
A. M.
Pleasant but the majority of rooms are tiny with no outlook.
N. W.
Small and basic, did not recognize status (Diamond) when I checked in - very noisy due to paper-thin walls. However breakfast is quite nice.
K. H.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The proximity to tourist activities was great. The room was nice and clean.
B. W.
Hayden is the man. One of the nicest concierges we have met. Top stuff.
O. H.
Not bad, rooms are functional and clean. Just be warned (as far as I know) the first few floors don't have windows which is a bit depressing.
C. S.
It's a standard double tree, smallish wit very small rooms (the one I had was the smallest, not even a closest ) if views are a concern, you will want to pay extra or you will he training glances with the offices nextdoor... seriously, see image.
L. C.
Hotel is pretty modern and location is convenient but too noisy. Staff is ok, they could improve much more their customer service skills
Y. Z. C.
In here last week, the bed is so comfortable and the room is nice, service is good and cookies taste really delicious.Wish to have more equipment in the room.
V. G.
Visited the hotel for a professional event. Seems quite nice, new and in a good, central location. Would be interesting to see how it performs as an overnight guest.
K. P.
Perfect location, great hotel for that weekend getaway to Melbourne!
B. L.
Loved the hotel. Location is great, room is clean and modern. Would stay again
C. C.
I enjoy coming here to unwind. It's a nice place to escape the city for a moment in time and have a coffee. It's a hotel but a nice one. Nice and peaceful if you want quiet time.
P. S.
5 star service with a boutique vibe. Staff can’t do enough for you, perfect location and comfortable well appointed rooms. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else 👍
J. H.
Amazing service. Love the warm cookies at check-in. Location is incredibly central, with food, groceries, public transport, etc.
P. A.
Wonderful hotel and the staff are so friendly. Will be back!!
M. U.
Great service and good place. Clean room n clean bath room. Comfy bed.
M. S.
It is nice place to stay, super good location. What I loved about is is that you can make your favourite Apple-celery juice during your brekkie ;)
A. K.
Rooms are small but perfectly fine. Staff is friendly and helpful in navigating local restaurants and attractions.
J. F.
Bartender Chris was awesome, we only popped in for a quick drink and he made and suggested some great spirits and cocktails as well as engaging in conversation about an interesting coffee brewing method - would go back!
L. C.
I came here for a conference last week, and the venue area was pretty nice. Spacious area, tasty
food, plenty of drink choices.
C. M.
Handy location. Good breakfast. Room small and dreadful door to bathroom.Great chips.Good value. Miss the old Hilton.
S. G.
Looks like a newly renovated hotel. Very nice lobby. Rooms a little small tho. But that's expected for the room type.
r. g.
Good location, rooms are generous sized and good condition. Only issue for me was that the pillows are hopelessly too soft.
J. F.
Staff were lovely rooms were clean and tidy no issues with noise and had an overall pleasant experience especially with the location being directly on flinders street travelling on foot was easy and you were directly next to the free tram zone
R. J.
Great food, very stylish rooms. Great service at the front desk. Wifi a little expensive though
B. L.
Always friendly staff who are very accommodating especially during this pandemic period
N. A.
Good location, nice lobby. Room is a bit cramped and use of the wifi and lighting was not at all obvious.
M. L.
Really nice hotel. Great location. Excellent staff; very helpful. I'd stay here again.
R. M.
Great location when in the city, staff very friendly. Rooms have all you need for a short stay.
J. Y.
Had a great stay, close proximity to town and all the great food places. Great value for the price we paid.
P. R.
The front and the cafeteria staff are very friendly.when we missed our flight the front staff arranged for next available flight and extended our stay in the room.the tour desk was really good.they also upgraded the room and allowed early check in arrival for a nominal amount.overall I will come back to this place.great down town location
W. F.
Great location, urban/industrial chic but lacks a decent hotel bar and no swimming pool. Restaurant/breakfast area is also very small.
A. M.
Great hotel with ample facilities. Got the best deal by per night by booking thru Skyscanner!
E. G.
Good location. That's it. 🙂
R. S.
Great customer service. Small but good quality rooms. Nice bar.
