C. H.Great hotel and being pet friendly is a bonus. To have a pet and wanting to travel can be stressful, but having an accommodation like the Marriott which accepts pet is amazing. We are so happy to be able to take our pet cat along with us from Sydney to Melbourne. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and professional. In room dining was good. Valet parking is great. We're enjoying our stay. Thank you for the wonderful team at the Marriott.

Room was huge and bed very comfortable. The pillows were very soft when I requested firm pillows.
Service was excellent from all members of staff front reception to the restaurant and the executive lounge. Huge shout out to the lovely lounge attendant Tracey who could not do enough for us with her lovely and bubbly personality.

W.Came for a buffet breakfast, realise that Covid has caused them to remove all the hot dishes from the menu, but think the prices should have been adjusted to suit - was looking forward to selecting from a wide range of hot dishes. That out of the way, the venue was nice, staff were friendly, etc.
c. o.I would stay again but staffing levels were low so it took a while for room service as one person was trying to run multiple jobs. I paid for breakfast but didn’t eat it, poached eggs on toast but the vinegar taste was so strong that I couldn’t taste anything else. The rooms are very dated, the alarm clock had a charging dock for an iPhone 3 for example (these things are cheap enough to upgrade you would think). Mini bar completely empty, so you have to call each time you want something then wait 30mins, quicker to nip to the 7/11 just across the road. No coffee machine in room. Only 1 of everything kept in the room, again call downstairs if someone else needs a robe plus wait time. Staff were all friendly & doing the best they can. I’m guessing the skeleton staff was because of COVID & the rooms dated because of lack of money to invest. I will return to see if it improves once hospitality is back to normal.

A.The Melbourne Marriott is our go to accommodation option when in Melbourne. Right in the heart of the theatre district, close to Chinatown , and an easy walk or tram ride to the heart of Melbourne. Right from the guy who picked up our car for valet , to the room service ( he provided) to the reception staff to the excellent staff during breakfast.
The guy who was leading them all was phenomenal and so was the staff .

The only issue we had is with the provided cot for our 7 months old baby. It was one of those foldable travelling cots, but without a mattress it was too hard for our baby to sleep in. A.Stayed for 1 night as a staycation with 2 kids. Excellent service upon arrival and check in. Good location and great breakfast. Pool was handy for the kids to have a swim and a play in the morning too.

The concierge lounge is good. The attendant in the morning was very welcoming and was always asking if we needed anything. They didn’t have any water at the time, and offered to have some brought up. I declined as we were leaving and we wouldn’t have been able to bring the bottles in.
I would recommend this hotel as the service was great, the room I had was big and clean, and the location is perfect.

We had a 2pm booking and got there about 2.10pm. We were seated and was told we go up to the tea bar to get our tea. Turns out you have to go up and make your own tea. At 2.30 I thought it had taken a long time for the high tea platter to come out so I asked one of the servers and she told me she would follow it up. 15 minutes later and she hadn't come back to let us know what was happening so I got up to ask another server and she saw me and told me it would be out soon. My wife and I returned to the Marriott again.
Can I say we where no way disappointed, every time we come here they make it feel like it’s our first time experience with the Marriott?
The staff where fantastic, from the doorman, the main reception, concierge, and room attended.
The staffs are fantastic, facilitates impressive, and experience above and beyond. Location to Melbourne, the theatre scene, tram stops, and china town, all within a stone’s throw
Again the Marriott not only met our expectations but blew them out of the water. We look forward to coming back

The customer service was exceptional, staff where helpful, curtious, and very accommodating, five stars.

If you want a special weekend away with someone you love, there are worse places, but you will pay for the privilege of being here.

S. L.We went to a show at the Comedy Theatre and stayed at the Melbourne Marriot. Our stay was superb and is in a wonderful location near the theatres. We pulled up quite weary and were met by very friendly staff who took our bags inside and took our vehicle away for parking. Check in was fast and efficient done by friendly staff members. We were upgraded to a suite on their advice; we were told it was a good deal which included breakfast (and it was). Our bags were taken to our room and unloaded into our bedroom by another happy staff member. We dined at the Marriot’s restaurant that evening and enjoyed great service and food. Breakfast was lovely too. Check out was just as efficient and again with helpful staff all the way. The whole experience was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

D. P.I had booked a table of 8 for the gin high tea but when I got there I got told it was cancelled. I was not very happy at this point and the waitress left me with the lunch menu to peruse. About 10 mins later the restaurant manager came out explained what had happened and gave us a 3 course lunch menu with petit fours to follow for a reduced price. Sink in completely and the pillows were similar. Very strange feeling and didn't feel right, and no i dont sleep on a bed of rocks at home either. This was way too soft mattress.
