The service is great for this famous and iconic pub. The main bar looks like your typical irish bar with Nik Naks everywhere. The Guinness pint was good, not amazing but good. What let’s the place down is the food, was a little disappointed with the quality of the food. The beef and Guinness pie was pretty good but the schnitzel and gravy was pretty poor. I would come back for a pint of the black stuff for sure though

Great pub, has character, nice atmosphere, food was delicious, good beer, family friendly, they had textas and colouring page for my 3 year old, good kids menu, staff were lovely and helpful. A great experience.
K. C.
Nice meal and perfect Guiness. Also lovely atmosphere with the original decor and historical items liberally scattered throughout the building. A rare unspoilt country gem. Check it out!
R. N.
A very nice glass of Guinness highly recommended and a beautifully laid out hotel, must go back again and have a meal with my Guinness.
P. S.
Great place for a meal. Heartily recommend their beef and guiness pies, yummie!
R. N.
Lovely old historic Irish pub friendly helpful staff and a great Guinness beer

LOVELY Guinness beef pie and a pint on a cold and dreary day - it's supposed to be summer !!!

Fantastic welcoming country pub and lovely friendly locals to have a chat with.

St Patrick’s day at a good old Irish pub was the reason for our trip today. We arrived and wasn’t disappointed this great old family pub was booked out for the day in the dining room and restaurant for lunch and dinner but we were able to sit in the bar and outside and grab a meal. 2 course set menu $25. Irish Stew or beef and Guinness pie on mash of course it wouldn’t be Irish without the potatoes! both great.
The Irish music was live inside all day and in the beer garden out front we had music on the speakers. Wendy was behind the bar in green and had the place running like clockwork you could tell they had done this before. Very friendly place chatted with staff, locals and visitors. The average age of Patrons would have been 70 for lunch I can truely say they didn’t have to check a license but they were all there for a great time and the singing and dancing didn’t take long to happen. The crowd gets younger in the evening as it was a Wednesday. A friendly fun day plenty of green beer and Guinness drank yesterday. A Great old pub worth a special visit to the town of Koroit

Two serves of the perfect Guinness was not enough to enjoy Mickey Burke's. Will return.

We stumbled on this awesome pub by accident & it was a blessing on a Blarney Stone; great meals that satisfied 2 adults & 2 teens with differing tastes. Lovely personal service & good value. Highly recommend getting off the beaten track to experience this lovely & tidy town👍

Booking was fine, the building was great. We just had to walk around looking at the old photos and press cuttings. The food was very much so so. The guiness pie was warmed up, but not all the way through, so the middle was very tepid. The veggies although cooked just right, were totally tasteless. Wife had the lamb shank and said it was good, but again was not impressed with the veggies. Cheese cake and sundae got a big thumbs up.

I stayed here for 2 x nights, the staff were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The food was great both nights, Guinness was great and atmosphere was great. What more could you want in a short stay?

Popular Pub with good pub food and a lively atmosphere.

Thank you for a good time 👍 I loved the overall feel of this hotel, it's like a big house that a lot of people live in, which happens to sit atop a old timey Irish pub. There's also a lot of personality in the furnishings and antiques inside the hotel. Giving you them 18th century Australian vibes. The staff were so friendly and approachable, giving a tour on arrival and laying down some straight history on us. Nice /10

Nice quiet place to relax ,and the pizza is awesome
J. O.
Bar staff & beer was good. The meal was the worse food I have ever had. Band finished playing & were hungry but told they couldn't eat because they didn't book, disappointing attitude
S. K.
It's a fantastic hotel reminded me of the English and Irish pubs i used to drink in many moons ago.
The Guinness my husband loved, food terrific
try the Guinness pie
J. W.
Warm and cosy atmosphere, lovely home style cooked meals, friendly and helpful staff, open fire, highly recommend the 'lamb shank', it was absolutely delicious!

I loved this pub. Only stopped in for a quick pint on the way home but i loved it. Great history as soon as you walk in. Staff were friendly and beer was cold. Great to see places like this open.
C. C.
Staff are lovely and friendly. Food are amazing. My partner doesn't normally eat steak but they have the best steak we've ever had. It really made our trip.
M. C.
Dined out here for lunch with all pubs in Warrnambool closed on the Boxing Day holiday. No frills here in this quaint Iriish pub. Quality simple fare combined with exceptional service. Try the beef and Guinness pie.
T. J.
Nice friendly pub with an Irish music band. The food *** fish & chips $24
accommodation **, communal toilets, bathrooms, TV room & breakfast room - tea, coffee, cereal, juice & toast. $123.

Great service and a friendly atmosphere. Certainly worth a try!

Terrific and hearty meals on a winters day by the fireplace.
Easily one of the more memorable scotch fillets and lamb shanks we've had in a while.
Will definitely return when in the area.
M.
Lovely friendly staff and the best parmigana I've had. They have two Chefs, one Indian and one Sri Lankan, so curry options on the menu, which I look forward to trying next time.
A. T.

A fantastic country pub with a strong Celtic history. Great main bar, nooks, and a big dining room. Speak to the publican to find out about local events. All the ones I've attended have been great fun!

Love it! Great Irish Pub. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and the people were lovely. Very friendly. The locals seemed to enjoy it as a hang out spot, too.
R. P.
Guinness on tap was good for Dad and I, and they managed to rustle up a sherry for Mum. Great hospitality.
P. R.
Attended at the hotel recently for an afternoon drink with my 2 son in laws and 8 grandchildren we were babysitting and felt immediately welcomed. Enjoyed our drink and the atmosphere in the hotel. Attended a couple of days later with all the family and some friends (19 in all) for dinner and could not find a single fault. Great little show bag package for the kids, excellent choice menu, great wine and beer list and to top it all off the food was superb. All adults and kids alike were full of praise for everything. The owner Wendy is the perfect person to have in a hotel. Her personalty and attention to customers was perfect. Highly highly recommend and will return.
R. F.
