The rooms were lovely, however, some thick dust at the top of the black sheer curtains were screaming out for attention. The staff, although adequate, were not very friendly or approachable. I tried to start off with a "good morning" and a smile, but gentleman didn't even lift his eyes to me to respond. I would be happy to stay here again, tired, grumpy staff don't bother me :)

L. C.This is a great place to stay when in Melbourne, I stayed with some friends in a 3 bedroom apartment 3 double bedrooms and a big living area. If I was to make one criticism, there was only 1 bathroom but we had 6 people so can't really make a negative comment. Had a kitchen and laundry as well. The hotel staff were great, they even called to see if we were OK on arrival because we'd said we would arrive at 6:30pm and it was 7:00pm (late plane)
We were there for the tennis and the location was perfect, walking distance to tennis and City.
Whenever going to Melbourne, this will be my first point of call.
I have recommended this place to people an they have since had return visits.

U. C.The location is second to none but for a fraction of the price you may expect. Within 5 minutes of Federation Square and the free City Circle tram, loads of food and drink options and just around the corner from a Coles. The building is very well kept and modern. I stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment which is actually a two bedroom but the second bedroom is too small to call a bedroom so they can't advertise it as one. There were how ever a few minor things that came up such as no plugs for the sink and bath in our bathroom, a broken towel rail, the TV in the bedroom being a touch "possessed" and everything creaked (the doors, floors, beds) none of which was really an issue, simply an irritation. My main concern was the service at the front desk. The gentleman who was there most of the day time rarely acknowledged us, never smiled and seemed to be there to be an efficient machine but I always appreciate a kind good morning or even a just a smile from front desk staff. He wasn't ever rude though so I hope my comments aren't taken incorrectly and instead may be constructive. I also sincerely hope my comments don't deter prospective guests from avoiding this hotel as I would be happy to stay here at least one more time. Thanks for the hospitality. 😊

Great location, priced well and apartments are OK.
The room cleaners did a terrible job each day.
During the evening I had the constant smell of the Chinese restaurant coming through my fan and was extremely unpleasant and could not sleep.
The alley way next to my room was extremely loud at crazy early hours.
If I got to choose a room on the right hand side of the building I would stay again, but that would have to be garenteed.
M. &. M. H.Great spot. Conveniently located. Staff helpful. Big apartment. Clean and tidy. Advertised queen bed but was two smaller beds pushed together. Terribly soft and uncomfortable with lumpy join down the centre. Barely slept a wink. Would not stay again. A little noisy outside as is in middle of Melbourne.

However the climate control system was not completely operational, and in the rare occurrence that Melbourne was too hot, the room was still set to heat. This was unfortunate timing with the weather but otherwise this was the only gripe with the facilities.

T. M.Great idea to have washing facilities (machine and dryer) available on our floor for long stay guests. We were upgraded to a lovely room but the tiled areas of the floor and creaked very loudly when walked on. The apartment was a little dark. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
L. D.Nice staff, great location, large rooms nicely set-up. I regret the mattress, so worn-out I had to avoid falling into the dip (lucky me I was alone in a double bed). I also regret the old timber window single glazed, letting the noise from the steet come inside my room.
S. Z.Spacious and central apartments at a very reasonable price. Lots of room in the lounge to stretch out and decent comfy beds and decent kitchen amenities make the Punthill seriously good value for the area. Just around the corner from Degraves Lane (try Issus, you won't regret it) and a couple of minutes gentle walk to lots of trams as well as Flinders Station, this was still a really quiet place at night. Don't expect amazing city views from the windows, but that's a small downside to actually being in the heart of the city once you step out the door. Concierge available from 8am-8pm or thereabouts, but in practise we found staff were always available via either the buzzer or the lobby phone.
V. M.Comfortable and pleasant city apartment. Tucked away in the middle of Flinders Lane. Right next to great restaurants and that cafe vibe that only Melbourne can offer. Staff organised, friendly and helpful. Rooms have everything and more that you need to have a good short or long stay in a great lively city.
B.Fanbloodytastic location, neat, clean rooms with Amazingballs breakfast directly below. It's CBD so expect a bit of noise and a few smells (we love the hustle and bustle and the aroma of exotic spices) but the cat park was ridiculous for a big man in a big vehicle. Very stressful with a 342 point turn into a carpark designed for a peel P50... View nothing to write home about.
A.Punthill Apartments in Melbourne at all locations are great. Flinders Lane though you feel right in the heart of Melbourne, you can just fall out of bed into a cafe.
Staff are always great, rooms are wonderful, clean & tidy. Worth the price they charge.

M. C.I love the Punt hill apartments in general, and I hate to play favourites but I do have a soft spot for Flinders Lane.
The rooms are so well furnished and it's like your home away from home, situated in Flinders Lane, is a short stroll to some great lane way bars and eateries that Melbourne has to offer.
The check in staff are friendly and happy, and so helpful, and so accommodating with any request you have.
I would defintley recommend to my friends, and colleagues as it's suitable for a weekend getaway that is location rich, and for business travelers needing the convenience of bars, restaurants and transport near their doorstep.
