s. l.Had lunch at the Australia Hotel. Great steak, salad and chips with a pint. Great value and they accept the Entertainment Book vouchers if you have them. Different daily specials. Friendly service. Hotel including the bathrooms recently renovated. Highly recommended.
L. H.Absolutely love this place. We had lunch on Saturday the 12th February. The Australia Hotel is a top place, could not fault it. The young gentleman (I think his name was Josh), was excellent (he is an asset), the food was exceptional, the kitchen staff went out of their way for you. Lovely surroundings. (They even managed to have nice weather for us LOL). We are going back again. The thought has crossed our minds to move to Fremantle so we can frequent there once a week. Congratulations and a big thank you to all the staff.
A. L.Best steak sandwich I’ve had $18. Beer of the month $6 pints of thieves gold. Lots of daily specials that are very decent value. Will definitely return when in the neighbourhood
T.Really enjoyed my 2 night stay. Historical old hotel with loads of character and charm. The staff were amazing very friendly and super helpful. Room was clean bed comfy. Pub downstairs had amazing food.. Sunday Roast was to die for and the drinks reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again!
L. W.Best pub meal in a long time and great value. My steak was medium and so tender, the pepper gravy was perfect, the salad was spot on with dressing that was just how I like it, none of that horrible mayo stuff. My wife had a chicken parmi that was a huge thick tender chicken breast. I also was given loyalty card that gets punched every time until you get a free meal. Just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune to get a top meal in a great setting. The Australia Hotel is now on my favourite list.
L. M.Nice hotel. Great space for functions available. Only small detail was that it was freezing at night at only one heater available/working.
Toilets clean and plenty of room.
Didn't have much interaction with staff but when we did service was quick and friendly.
Inside the building also nice, pool table and plenty of room there.
Pretty quiet when we were there on a weekend so if you don't like huge crowds this might suit you.

G. C.I had lunch today and the chicken parmigiana was excellent! They had familiar music on the speaker so nice relaxing atmosphere. Gentleman at the bar was friendly and helpful. All in all, a great experience!

G. M.Came here for tea break as we were working late doing an End of Lease Clean. Lucky for us it was just around the corner off Queen Victoria Street., Fremantle. It was noticeable as it stood out, love ❤ the reminiscent old school architecture of the building, it appeared inviting, cosy and suggested good food was available. They had advertising outside with specials for certain nights of the week. The advertisements were bright clear and specific as well as tempting, inviting and fit for any budget, 🥰 perfect. The bar was clean well stocked with a great variety of liquid refreshments alcoholic as well as non alcoholic. Service was excellent. It offered entertainment in the form of pool table and large TV screens placed strategically around, meals available with a selection to satisfy any individual. We thoroughly enjoyed our Hawaiian burger and Cheese burger which came with chips. The buns of the burgers were awesome and the homemade relish was too die for. Best burgers and chips, we've tasted since coming to Perth. Time wise was great as we were starving, managed to indulge in a pint of Northern and lemon, lime nd bitters. The ambience was fantastic, relaxing and obviously popular by the amount of customers entering. Interior overall is AFL territory with 2 jerseys holding pride of place, seating is typical of such places with great views of the railway station and the coast 🙄. Service is friendly efficient with a smile .... only a stones throw from railway station....great meal company and atmosphere, definitely visit again ... maybe stay for weekend...woohoo. Yes ..sorry accommodation available too...

There was a Tuesday burger special which includes a pint of beer.
I chose a cheese and bacon burger and wife chose the Hawaiian.
The burger?
It is the best.
The best in WA I can say.
For $15 for a great big burger and a piny of beer.
I even felt guilty to have this with this cheap price.
Even HJ would be more expensive than this.
I was a chef and know how to make the burger, but this place is steal. I calculated the cost of the ingredients and realised I can't even make a single penny of profit on this price point.
I don't know how they do this.
The taste is beautiful.
Brioche bun, thick patty and tomato relish mixed up well and structured solid good taste.
I am happy to visit this place every week or even every day to try other specials too.
Definitely to go place.

No air con - our 2nd floor room was stifling hot, even while cool outside. Am no princess, I live inland, and work in the heat. This was hot. I went to bed drunk, and slept ok. Wife hardly slept at all because of the heat.
Ceiling fan made little difference.
Shared Bathroom/Toilets - recently renovated by the looks. Clean and modern.
No fridge in room.
No sink/water in room.
No kettle or tea/coffee facilities in room.
No elevator.
Handy location to train/town.
Pint of 150 lashes = $12 (March 2021)
Hotel cost: $110.
No instructions on where to park when you arrive - the hotel parking gate is locked to you, until you check in and get the pass card/instructions to use. Didn't find this out until we saw the locked gate, and were scrambling with the GPS to find somewhere nearby to park. Could have been made easier - apologies is I missed an instruction?
Lovely beer garden, however we came back here about 10:30pm after an early night out, hoping for a quiet beer, only to find the pub side shut.
Nice hotel, however we probably wouldn't stay here again, mainly due to lack of air con, fridge and kettle.

The food there is amazing, tried everything over a week.
The pub beer garden is something I haven’t seen in years, great live music and atmosphere. Lots of people where there with there children and had a happy vibe.
Will definitely come here next visit. Reminds me of beer gardens in the old days with a touch of class.

Nathan the Hotel manager met us at the door and straight away made us feel at home. We will be back Nathan you and your staff where amazing

They gave us everything that we need and asked for during the duration my family's stay. Just needs a little improvement with the interior but overall, I'd still want to go back here again with my family.
