H.Denver City Hotel is rough around the edges but probably one of the best hotels I have visited from the first night I walked in the front door and told the bartender he suxed because they didn't have my preference in mixed take away drinks to my 50th birthday dinner on July 30th. Would go there again, what they lack in decor they make up in ambience, friendliness and service.

Had a beautiful Burger with the lot and it was magnificent in flavour and freshness. Lovely staff and great advice to try the cider, for me. Hubby loved everything too!

E.Since management change, this is the best place to drink and dine with friends in coolgardie, the new staff and owners are par excellence, great smoked meats as well as skimpies on Monday and Tuesday evening, can't recommend highly enough. ***Please disregard the previous post as it was posted a long time before the new owners took it over and turned it into an awesome venue***

S. D.I can only comment on the food, which I thought was great! The Denver chicken was so good, served with tasty chips, coleslaw, salad and some pasta. The plate was huge and the food filled it. Also, there were 2 indigenous people in there while we were in there and they didn't bother anyone, neither did anyone ask them to leave. Not sure if management has changed recently but it looks as though all are welcome now. Nice English girl serving too.

D. M.A great old world pub with some great characters ready for a chat and a beer. Beer is cold and there's a good feed available as well. Bar man is mine of local information and there's folk here that have spent their lives in the town. Worth dropping in anytime of day.
