s. l.Had a great two day stay at this hotel. Really good location, friendly staff and beautiful room. The breakfast was comprehensive, faultless and delicious. We used the pool and roof bar and found the pool a little cool and quite small, but very refreshing on a hot day. The pool bar was not staffed when we used this facility, but you could order food/drinks via phone, so no problem. Definitely worthwhile...

R. W.Expectations of this Establishment were exceeded in some aspects and let down in others. The views from the roof top bar were certainly second to none, the service could do with a shack up, but I guess being rather a popular venue one needs to be prepared to wait.
Food is available in a variety as well as different locality with in the hotel.
The rooms are adequate, certainly nothing to write home about but serviced our needs providing the required comforts along with 24/7 room service. A small on site Gym is available to those that enjoy fitness 💪 along with outdoor pool area with settings for those that enjoy a cool dip after a tanning session.
W. C.The $35 for a movie pass is a scam. Unless u enjoy a lack on control of your life, very limited selection of movies and overall terrible value for money. Seen this issue several times in these reviews. Please fix this management, if you care at all about the experience of your customers.
Everything else was pretty good but for $500 a night so you would certainly hope so.
No need for an apology owner sir I love money also but please fix that.

O.$390 a night was totally worth it for two nights… we use to stay at Fraser’s which is 5 stars and this was worth the extra $150 a night more it costs… way cleaner, the views of the water and the city are exquisite, the bar on the top floor was buzzing (on both Friday and Saturday evening)… and the buffet breakfast was delicious, not to mention the pool (with spectacular views)!

L. I.We stayed for 2 nights at a Premier King Panoramic Riverview room (1501) for Australia Day Skyworks 2022 and we absolutely loved the whole experience! The room was surprisingly wide and spacious, beds are comfy, ensuite and bath are clean and adequate, perfect for a young family of 4. We watched the whole show while sipping wine and eating snacks and kids comfortably perched on wide window sills. The hotel’s Buffet breakfast is nice with lots of good food options. We will do the same for 2023 and so on if Skyworks will continue. Well done Hilton, very clever choice of hotel site! Really amazing views. Thank you.

C. F.This is our second stay at this hotel this year. It is in the perfect location, within walking distance to many city attractions. The rooms are very well appointed and have gorgeous views of either the Swan River or the city.
The beds are super comfy too! The staff are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

D. D. P.Great new hotel on the water. We stayed for one night and attended a formal event at the function room on level 2. Beautiful room with fantastic views. Massive hot bath in the bathroom and the bed was super comfy. The buffet breakfast was well done and loads of options and it was all good. The rooftop bar is a must do for sure! We will be back soon to stay the weekend for my birthday.
S. E.The beds are very comfortable and the room is quite beautiful. The hotel has the potential to be incredible... However, there are a few issues:
1. The walls are ridiculously thin. You can hear everything in the rooms adjacent, including chairs moving, and the music from down stairs is so loud even at 11pm at night.
2. Light switches are poorly designed. There is no independent night light. If you turn on the night light on one side of the bed the bathroom and other side comes on too. There is no way to only have the bathroom night light on without also having the lights on in the bedroom.
3. The TV only has Free to Air TV unless you pay $35 for access to the movies. You can't even cast from your personal device to the TV.
4. Phone reception is horrible in the bathroom.
5. The room service food is only average. And even though the menu is on the TV you can't order using the TV.
Sadly majority of these are flaws with the building itself and there is little the Hotel can do to fix these issues.
E. C.Staying here for a get away weekend and its been great so far. Lovely quiet rooms with the bonus of a shower screen with a blind thst you can open, that gives you views to the river if you want. Enjoyed a dip in the pool which was just perfect clean and fresh towels provided. We arrived to a complementary bottle of champagne and card which was a nice touch.
V. H.We had a wonderful 2-night stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront. We were on the top floor with panoramic views and that did not disappoint. The staff were professional yet super friendly, the room was immaculately clean and the food was exceptional both in the restaurant and the rooftop bar. Will definitely be staying again one day.

Stayed in the standard king room, was on 15th floor with views of South Perth foreshore and swan river, as well as the lit up Bell Tower! Memorable trip which I will highly recommend to any tourists and locals alike.

Expensive room service for average food, menu shown on TV (if you exit out of what you’re watching) but you still had to phone up anyway. Staff denied that what I ordered was on the menu and proceeded to explain to me where to find the menu, when I was looking straight at it…

T. T.Hotel was nice but when I phoned up to talk about a discrepancy I was confused about, the manager was rude saying on the phone. Saying "no, listen to me, I'm talking". Not good enough when staff are really nice when staying there but when asking for a refund of what you have paid double for the response was not acceptable.
C. L.Our family decided to have a special overnight staycation, and booked two rooms at this new waterfront hotel by Hilton.
As Diamond members, the customer manager graciously upgraded both rooms to a King Deluxe Room (#1212) & a King Guest Waterview Room (#1203).
The Deluxe Room was spacious & offer a nice view of both the Swan river Eastern view, and the lovely Perth CBD city Northern view. We also enjoyed relaxing in the moder bathtub in the Deluxe room, while sipping drinks over a view of the river. Both rooms have nice comfy king bed, and nice LED TV with ample amenities for a pleasant stay. The black-out curtains in the rooms was very appreciated especially with the sunrise over the East the next morning.
Upon settling into both our rooms, the toilet at one of rooms was malfunctioning, and despite being on a Sunday afternoon, a report to the front counter and this was resolved efficiently within the hour. A testimonial of the Hilton's customer services.
Responses to our online queries 2 days pre-check in, & during our stays were efficiently & promptly answered by Saw Mon, Ritesh, Kristel, Ashley, depending on the time of our messages.
The buffet breakfast was served 7-10am at the Reel Kitchen on Level 2 overlooking the Swan River southern view, and we enjoyed the spread of hot & continental options with coffee machine that offers mocha too. Paula & Caelyn were pleasantly welcoming and went above & beyond when we asked for cold water that's not tap water to prepare our baby's puree. They ended up going to a different area to bring a bottled water just for us.
Even though there was no omelette station at brekky in the Reel Kitchen, the chef was happy to serve up fried eggs sunny side up upon request.
The 18 knots rooftop bar on Level 18 is also another fantastic spot offering a 360 view of the Perth river & CBD. We spotted many beautiful indoor & outdoor areas for occasions ranging from romantic intimate for 2, to a group, and will look forward to trying the bar on another visit without our babies.
While checking out, we also managed to meet up with Joyce Mann, Commercial manager, who took us on a quick tour of the hotel's events floor & infinity outdoor pool on the 5th floor.
The location is centrally located in the CBD, and the Blue CAT bus stop is conveniently located just a few minutes walk away to take you to the CBD & Northbridge in comfort.
Tips:
- There is no on-site valet parking, but there are two (2) pickup/drop off 5min car bays directly outside the hotel entry for offloading of luggage
- the Blue CAT bus is a fantastic way to get to & from the hotel, but remember the Blue CAT bus ceased running after 6:30pm on a Sunday, so plan your timing on a Sunday
P. T.Great location for a very reasonable price. Rooms clean, serviced daily and well-equipped. Bathroom slightly cramped - best for business trips or short family getaways when out most of the day. Infinity pool was amazing, heated to 24 degrees so we managed a few photos and a short swim even in July! Gym has all the basics with amazing views. Warning - parking is at the Terrace open air carpark so it is a short walk to and from your car in open weather. I got rained on whilst lugging my stuff from car park to hotel because both parking spots in front of the hotel were occupied, and the rest are Loading Zones, so you risk a fine if there is a queue at check-in or if you are on your own.
F. S.Great Hotel, very nice room, very nice view....however I was not advised that there was no carparking on site I had to park my car in the public open air carpark about 500m away and pay extra for it.

S.The service staff were so friendly, and the rooms are nice and clean. The amenities are also quality. I did have stained sheets from what looked like a coffee stain which is very noticeable on white sheets ahaha. But I only stayed the night and new I was having a night out in the city. So no big deal. The sheets were still clean and everything else was immaculate. Would definitely stay again without a doubt.

Breakfast restaurant was lovely and we swam in the pool despite it being a bit cold just because it was so nice to swim and enjoy the views. Even the house keeper staff were lovely, saying good morning and making chit chat in the elevator. Only slight set back is the parking is a bit of a walk, but it’s not a huge deal. And took us a while to figure out how to put the blind down in the bathroom lol. Very nice experience

A. I.My husband and I stayed here for a night while in Perth for a wedding. Our room was ready three hours early and the hotel offered us early checkin which was very nice of them. The room and bed was extremely comfortable, we had a beautiful view of the city. Breakfast was also very nice through it could use a couple more options like an omelette bar, we dined with a beautiful view of the river which was lovely. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay.
K. S.For purposes of the review, my partner and I stayed here Valentine's Day 2021, for one night.
We stayed in the king room - panoramic city views and the views were truly fantastic. The rooms and facilities generally were of a good quality. The rooftop bar on level 18 had a nice range of local wines and options to pour a large, 250ml glass. The Infinity pool is located on the 5th floor and provides a nice view of the Swan river.
On the downside, staff quality was mixed and the poolside bar not well stocked. I ordered a West Winds G&T, only to be told after paying that they only had Beefeater, (cheaper and poorer quality gin). I had also expected a basic sparkling wine with the higher quality room, but we were given only cookies. Granted, chocolate and walnut is tasty, but it wasn't Valentine's Day tier for $279.
We had prepaid for breakfast the next morning, but we're not informed of the start and end times for breakfast and this information was not available online. We were fortunate to speak with a sympathetic customer service manager as we left, who gave us our poolside drinks for free.
The gym was small, but well fitted with dumbbells from 5kg - 35kg. Parking is odd, with no on-site available and a fixed $24 per day agreement reached between the hotel and the local CPP.
To sum it up - great location and views, good facilities, but a few things could be tidied up before I would return.

A warm and friendly welcome at Doubletree Waterfront which includes a delicious cookie. The hotel manager and his team warmly welcome guests with smiles and assistance.
This hotel is brand new and has been built thinking of everything! The rooms are well designed and sound proof. The king bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was great - bathtub, spacious shower with great water pressure and separate toilet. Slippers and bath robes.
The gym has been well thought through - with an amazing outlook over the river. There's also a swimming pool with water views.
Breakfast was served on the second floor in the Reel Kitchen. Plenty of options on offer. My husband had the scrambled which were light and fluffy and some of the best he has ever had. Barista made coffee was wonderful.
On the 18th floor there is the 18Knots rooftop bar. An incredible outlook and lots of comfortable chairs to sit in. Perfect place to meet friends, have a business meeting, watch the sunset.
The location is right on the waterfront as part of Elizabeth Quay. (Tip: Take the ferry across to South Perth, Mends Jetty, for the stunning Mister Walker restaurant - the best restaurant in Perth). And it's a short 5-10minute walk to St George's Terrace throught the waterfront park.

I had to bring my own luggage up to my room after it was sitting in the lobby for half hour... entered the room and went to pour myself a gin when I noticed my glass was chipped right on the mouth piece 🙄 I called to get ice delivered to the room and was told there was a $5 tray charge🙄🙄 being an executive suite you would think they would have smart TV's but that was a negative. Also noticed my bedside table hadn't been wiped down as there was stains from the last drink that sat on it🙄🙄🙄 now that I've got the cons out of the way, the actual room was amazing with great views. Also has an great rooftop bar and the cocktails where tasty!
M. J.Enjoyed staying here for a night. Check in was smooth and the King room was very big and comfortable. No complimentary water though which isn’t a huge deal except it wasn’t communicated to us when we checked in. The pool area is superb, is much bigger than in photos and it was great just floating taking in the views. Great spot right on the waterfront!

P. R.We had a lovely stay here. Our room was on the top floor and we had a view over the waterfront. While not as engaging as a waterfront view at Sydney, it was pleasant all the same. If you're thinking about staying here, then I think all the views are interesting, you don't have to pay more for thr water.
The concierge at dinner in the 2nd floor restaurant was a little rude, I'd say he wanted people to "look" a certain way and if you don't feel you "look" whatever way a concierge may want you to appear, don't go there. We also had to wait 30 minutes for cocktails at the rooftop bar, which was a shame. Otherwise a pleasant stay

R. D.Great hotel that offers wonderful value for money. The room is adequate and has everything you need for a nights stay. The bed was comfortable however I wasn't a fan of the pillows. Overall slept really well. The outdoor pool is great but it wasn't heated this something I'd really appreciate them attending to in the future. The other drawback of the pool is it's really windy which makes it a little uncomfortable. There is also a rooftop bar called 18 Knots. It is a wonderful find. The drinks are excellent and this can be accessed by all guests and the general public. The roomservice menu ist that extensive and expensive. Best suggestion is to get UberEats delivered. For breakfast highly suggest heading to Rubra on the Swan which is a short walk east of the hotel.

A. S.We stayed in a Riverview king room, which had a fantastic view. We enjoyed the room very much. The bathroom was small (there is literally a millimeter clearance between the door and the toilet and it’s a snug fit when you’re sitting on the loo) but the shower was large and with two adjustable heads (rain and handheld) it was lovely.
We liked the room entranceway which had plenty of storage and hanging space. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not to our liking - too soft. The USB ports in the room had exceptionally bright little blue lights that really impacted on the light in the room at night. It was quite a surprise! The rooms seemed sound proofed though (we didn’t really hear anyone else during our two night stay)
As always, with rooms with a view like this one, I was frustrated by the seating set up - one desk chair and one sofa chair. Does anyone use the desk and desk chair any more? I’d much prefer two lounge chairs. Perhaps a different room type would have met my needs better (I wanted a deluxe king room but missed out.)
Nonetheless, it was a very nice stay and I’d come back for sure.
My experiences at Reel Kitchen, however, were less pleasing!
P. S.Great service. Great location. Great views. Comfortable bed and pillow. Dark rooms. Quiet air conditioning. Nice ambient lighting. Parking is a short walk. Best to drop your partner by the entrance and then walk. Hence the 4 stars. We will return.
J. S.The building is fantastic, the staff are great, the pricing is fair. The parking situation is a hastle, however, we stayed the first week they opened, so hopefully, this can be sorted out. (either include the parking in the price, and provide the ticket, OR offer a valet parking option for a good price) Also the loud bar bellow doesn't help. I would however stay again and also recommend to others.
C. W.We are reasonably frequent visitors to this hotel as the location is great. Reception staff, chambermaids, etc are all well trained and very helpful. Despite taking a deposit for breakages etc... you would think that there would be a mini bar... full of small containers of milk and no ice even or bottles of water....The rooms are lovely and very comfortable, clean etc. Breakfast on both occasions we have stayed there are served by lovely receptive staff but the breakfasts are dreadful. In 2021 couldnt you guys put on something more appetising than floating poached eggs in luke warm water, mushrooms again saturated in a watery mess... cold bacon and cold sausages.. Personally I would be ashamed to let foreigner visitors see this kind of service at breakfast! Even a serviced "egg station" would be better than what was on offer!

Manic at 930am but the restaurant manager Sinauf, who oversaw the dining and seating was an absolute star.
He found us a great spot to eat at the bar, impeccable service and this guy knows how to keep the customers happy.

g. w.We had birthday drinks with friends on the 18th floor at the rooftop bar. Great outlook. We then had dinner at the restraunt on the 2nd floor. The food was delicious but expensive for what was offered. The staff were friendly and efficient.
s. k.Location, location, location! This is what this hotel represent. Walking distance to CBD, beautiful panoramic swan River view from the 17 floor. Outdoor pool located at the 5th floor as well as fitness centre. Check in was smooth, didn't used front desk as we requested digital key and check in using Hilton app. Room is very clean feels fresh as well. Room size is decent, won't say too small or huge. Very friendly customer service as well. Always served you with a smile and helpful too. Only issue with this place is that it has no on site parking. Parkings available at CPP about 10 minutes or less walking distance but only be charge for $24 for your overnight stay. Get your parking ticket validate with the hotel before you leave. As for in room service, menu is limited but there is few restaurants located outside Hilton or you may try their restaurants and roof top bar.

Second day and we checked in. As diamond members (both of us) there is normally a welcome letter. Express check in. Early check in and lounge access.
We were checked in later than even the normal checkin time of 3pm. No welcome letter and an apologetic bottle of cheap Chardonnay.
The room was nice, our daughters rollaway still had the wrapper on it which we had to take off.
There was a noise the entire night that was constant and didn’t stop from one of the walls. We could hear the thump thump thump of people above us.
We visiting the restaurant on the second floor which didn’t have much for our daughter. We went to 18 knot where the drinks took 45mins and the food was frankly terrible.
Breakfast was good I suppose.
Overall not there yet. Teething problems and then some which need sorted. Don’t get me wrong the view are brilliant and will be the envy come Australia Day.
But with complete lack of recognition of top tier members, lack of executive lounge, average to poor food quality and rooms with noises this won’t be a regular stay for us.
D. N.All staff members we encountered during our stay were fantastic. The room was better than we imagined and the pool and rooftop Bar are breathtaking. What a place!
