J. B.The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a small problem with the door, they were very helpful and the problem which was quickly fixed while we was out the next morning. The food in the dining room is very good and the expanded menu choices very welcome.

A. K.Cheap place to stay in the city. Rooms are small but good if you just need a place to rest your head. Beds are comfortable. Dinner is served at a loud kitchen from next door. Chose to eat across the road. Did not dissapoint. Breakfast is in house.

B.I enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and so was the location. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I was also given two free welcome drinks at their bar which is nice also.

C. W.Good location, friendly service. The room was small but clean and ok for a short business stay. Handy to have a washing machine/dryer per floor (around $6 or so for a load to wash/dry). Restaurant downstairs offers a nice buffet breakfast for $25. The hotel offers guest WIFI but has only limited parking (semi-attached) but has an agreement with a Wilson car park close by. Would recommend this hotel for a short(er) business stay or if you look for a decently priced hotel close to the heart of Perth.

A. D.Grwat place in the heart of the city to a great price. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was included in my rate and very nice in a bright room. My room was on the 4th floor facung murray st and i could not hear the puns or street. Great sound proofing. Room had everything needed and bed was comfy. Bo mini bar but complimentary water. There are vending machines on 2 floors for snacks and soft drinks. Definitely would come again

Dinner was great and well priced. Breakfast was amazing! The choice was excellent.The staff were very accommodating, understanding and lovely to myself and my autistic son. We were in a room at the front on the street. My son was having trouble settling due to the noise (Saturday night, bars and music etc). They moved us to the back into room 310. It was perfect. Thank you so much for accommodating his needs. You don't know how much that means to a mum with a special needs child. We will defiantly be back. Thank you again xoxox

C. J.Quiet hotel in a good location close to just about everything we needed. The rooms were clean & tidy on arrival. The bed sheets & blanket were very noisy though everytime you moved around. The staff were friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay there again in the future.
t. d.Decent room, appalling WiFi. The room was clean and well maintained. I didn't need it tidied every day but you get that anyway. Breakfast was filling. WiFi was terrible. I needed to work while here but the speed was ridiculously slow and the stability was worse. Staff at desk were super friendly.

R. C.Delightful hotel with great service. Friendly staff and clean room. The building is not new, but it is adequate in facilities and amenities. The breakfast is a good spread of hot and cold selection with decent latte to go. The location is fantastic; within walking distance of major attractions and ample restaurant around. Sign up for hotel membership to get discount off meals at the adjacent restaurants.
J. T.2 night city stay. Hotel rooms very clean bed was comfortable and the towells were lovely. Staff were so very friendly and helpful. Even sent up a card and a bottle of wine for my husbands birthday. The only negative we found the aircon way to warm. As no opening windows the aircon is on a set temp . This temp is not controlled in the rooms.
Breakfast was lovely and the bar next door was great .

P. S.A good place to stay and be near the shops, restaurants, transport and Art galleries. Our room was clean and tidy, although a little on the small side with little room to open out our suitcases. As we were only staying two nights we did not want to unpack everything, so a bit more space to open them up on the floor and leave them, would have been better. Again, bathroom was small but always clean with good quality, clean towels and toiletries. Always milk in the fridge too. Staff were very helpful when the drier in the laundry room kept cutting out and did not dry our clothes. Although it was gone the official closing time when we reported it, we were given the money that we had "lost" and let in to the laundry room on another floor.
T. T.Returning guest. Felt the facilities are simple but reliable. Good value for money. We had a smaller room than our last stay but our family of three were comfortable. Excellent service and great breakfast buffet. Prefer this hotel to other similar ones. More soundproof and sound facilities.

G. E.This Ibis hotel is comfortable, usually well priced and in a good central location. The staff too are helpful and friendly.
The hotel however is dated with the hallway carpets needing a clean. In the room too the air-conditioning isn't up to modern standards; there is no means of controlling the temperature with the only air-con options being OFF, LOW, MED and HIGH.
The newer Ibis hotels (e.g. Melbourne & Adelaide) are far nicer than this hotel.
S. L. P.Drainage in the sink and shower was bad. We had informed the counter staff which made arrangements for us to bath in another vacant room first and change to another in the next day.
Location is good for accessing the Perth Underground depending on zone and free CAT shuttle bus services which can bring you to nearby shopping centres and theatres.
Breakfast is always serving the same food as we stayed 4 days with breakfast. It would be great if they have changed the breakfast between days.
T. G.I stayed here 4 nights during a training course, my employer paid for the room so can't comment on affordability. I can say though that the room was basic, but clean and well maintained. From the 9th floor I had a great view east toward Murray Street Mall. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly, same with those working at the breakfast buffet.
The buffet had a decent selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, and pastries. Even the selection of hot items taseted fresh. Only complaint here was the juice was more likely a reconstituted fruit drink, the coffee from the machine wasn't the best either.
Elizabeth Quay, London Court, the malls and a vast variety of bars, cafes and restaurants are all within an easy walking distance of the hotel. It make the nights very enjoyable.
I'd recommend staying here to anyone who asks :)
R. R.The hotel is nice and comfortable but it does show is age.The ladies at the receiptiondesk were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent. The location is perfect in the business- and shopping district, some pubs around (but not many, the main district for evenings is Northbridge, a 10 Minute walk)
The rooms are not large but adequate. Downturn: I was in Perth in winter (june) and the room was a bit too cold for my taste. The temperature is not adjustable. The curtains are much too thin, in Winter no problem but when the sun rises in the early morning in december it would be very annoying.
a.We are very happy with our stay. We were pleasantly surprised that they provide water, 2 bottles a day, complimentary! No hotel I’ve stayed at has ever done that. Nice and quiet, great spot if you wanna go to pubs, restaurants, or are in town for a show at the Perth arena. Don’t bother hiring a car if you’re staying here. You can walk everywhere and all of our Uber’s this trip have ended up cheaper than hiring a car for sure!

Only one of my nights at hotel somebody was two times at 2.30 am and 5.00 am at same nights knocking at the door, lots of noise that night , my colleagues exspierince the same problem , must be some of "forgotten keys" costumers. Hope that this knocker have good sleep , while I must be 10 hour presented at conference looking fresh.

T. M.This hotel was booked as I needed to escape a noisy hostel, so my priority was price. I was pleasantly surprised to discover how good the location and hotel were for the price.The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The rooms are fairly basic, but not run down.
R. B.My best friend and I decided to have a girls weekend in a Hotel in City. Scoopon offered a mystery hotel so we booked and we were at the Ibis Perth. The room size was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly . We ate in the restaurant and it was lovely for both dinner and breakfast. The location was great for us. our only disappointment is 1) the HBF fun run was on so load music was played at 7am on sunday morning, which we remember next year and not your fault and 2) we felt the room was very warm. We both enjoyed our stay and would come back yet year.
D. G.Adequate if small room, we booked for two beds but the room they gave us had a double bed. No dramas after they changed rooms for us. There are the usual components (flat screen TV, adequately sized wardrobe, tea/coffee, small desk). We had a two single bed option, which were very comfortable and welcome after walking around all day. Bathroom is small but serviceable. We were on the 7th floor, and there is still some street noise which escapes into the room, but is still relatively quiet (we were staying here on Thurs/Fri nights).
Restaurant attached to the hotel is ok but there are much better places to eat for dinner very close by. I was surprised however by the quality of the hot buffet for breakfast - it wasn’t as dry as other hotel buffet breakfasts. There is no espresso station like some other larger properties, but a simple request will get you one from the adjacent attached restaurant in quick order.
A. L.The room size was very adequate just need some minor comments, need a bigger stool to place luggage for taking out stuffs and arranging. No lotion on the bathroom amenities which is a basic, otherwise everything was superb. The staffs are very courteous and attentive to youreceive needs.

K. F.Spending a September long weekend in the city. Hotel is centrally located and close to city shopping and restaurants. Was incredibly impressed by the Duty Manager Phyllis Yu when she chose to empower herself to purchase a box of cereal for my morning breakfast as I had mentioned that I did not like muesli which was part of the hotels limited breakfast menu because of COVID restrictions. Thank you to Phyllis for making my breakfast much more enjoyable. You are a credit to the Ibis team.
p. c.Stayed here many times, central and easy walk to shopping, trains, buses and most importantly bars. Not that I drink......lol.
Tidy rooms, good on site restaurant and bar. Price is great when you get on a deal with breakfast.
P. B.The central location was ideal for our overnight visit to Perth. We checked in on-line, so that made access to our room easy. Prior advice regarding parking was very helpful and the location was convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful and the small note welcoming us to our room/stay was appreciated, along with the drinks and bar bites next door. The room was snug but comfortable and on a high level, just as requested.
The only suggestion really would be for the inclusion of an in-room safe, which would be preferred over the complimentary safe deposit box available at the reception area.
P. M.We arrived early off a cruise ship about 10.30. a.m. Staff helpful , as they had people checking out to go on cruise. We were able to leave our bags and wander out to get a coffee and fill in a couple of hours. The receptionist was very helpful on the Monday contacting the shuttle to take us to airport on the Tuesday

T. X.Rooms are small but very clean, staff are friendly, my only disappointment was the buffet breakfast. It was uninspiring. Bacon was a little dry as were the sausages, the scrambled egg was a bit tasteless and the Fried? Rice was also tasteless. I expected much better for $25 but maybe I am out of touch? I just recall the brilliant brekky buffets in Malaysia and then saw all these Malaysian folks at our Hotel and I was a little embarrassed at what was on offer. I might suggest an authentic fried rice dish and maybe another Asian inspired dish? Aside from the brekky I would not hesitate to stay here again.
T. S.We chose the ibis as it is so close to the city. We were here to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary and this did not go unnoticed by ibis, to our surprise we received a beautiful card and cheese platter wishing us all the very best on our Anniversary. The staff were very friendly, our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were very happy with our stay at the ibis.

Was greated warmly by receptionist Christopher and he was kind enough show us the maps and free SIM card that was available at the hotel. Though we arrived in the early morning, we were able to checked in immediately. Something which we truly appreciate and a big factor for consideration if we are coming back to stay at Perth again.
There is also another nice lady who is petite (blonde hair if not mistaken) in size who attended to our query on how to get to around. I think her name start with C something. She recommended us in getting the day saver train tixs which is awesome!
Room wise, the hotel is clean with great location. Breakfast is also good except that the same type of food were served daily.
Overall we had a good stay at the hotel.

Worst thing is air condition, you can't control temperature in your room, you only can control the fan speed!

Update - after originally scoring this place a 2 I have had to revisit. The manager of the hotel personally got in touch with me to extend his apologies, and offered many options to try and make up for the below average experience.
I did try the Ibis again since, and it was a great experience. Food options were great, bed was comfy, linen was clean and bathroom also in good condition. Have revised to a well earned 4.
A. M.Arrived at 3pm, reception was quick and very nice. Went to Rubix downstairs for happy hour and watch rugby. Had a rubbish sleep due to noise outside because windows are poor and held shut with a screw. Left at 1pm the next day which was great because we got to do a few things around Perth first. Staff were great again at checkout.
W. S.Great location. Room was very clean and tidy. Free WIFI was definitely a bonus. We were on the third floor and could not hear traffic noise which was a big surprise. Shopping, eateries and public transport was right out the front door.
U.Lovely staff , most impressed with breakfast and a young lady who was very efficient
seating people, getting guests more milk when ask while helping a gent with the coffee machine at the same time a deliver man needed help you could see her process every task with a great smile.
As for the parking for some the price and distance more lighting.
In the rooms the curtains revealed to much sun light.
My parents had their vehicle and caravan written off in a accident. Dad was in the hospital my sister and myself fly direct from cairns and needed accommodation for four people .The price was fairer then most and my choice was pot luck .We most defiantly would stay at an Ibis Hotel again.

T. W.The room was great, all was clean, bed was comfy, great parking for my car on the 2nd night, and the breaky was great except I felt a bit too expensive, hence on my 2nd morning I sourced breakfast elsewhere, however my main complaint is the following.
The room I was placed in, Room 722, faced the street and as I was a first timer visiting Perth for a very short stay of only 2 nights. I had no idea what the area was like, and I chose the hotel and it's location for it's close proximity to the train station for ease of getting around. I arrived on a Saturday night, around 9-10pm, and the street right out the front was so lound and noisy from loud music, screams and loud cars doing burn outs. It appeared to be the party street, with many bars & clubs that were very busy on a Saturday night. Even my driver who picked me up at the airport and drove me to my hotel warned me about the crowds and noise there on a Friday & Saturday night. Even though I was placed on the 7th floor, which was quite high up, because my room window faced the front street, it was unbearable trying to sleep on Saturday night. Again Sunday night, the next night I stayed, wasn't as bad as the previous Saturday night, but the music was still heard quite clearly.
Everything else was great, so if I was to stay at this hotel again, it would only be if the room is placed towards the back of the hotel with a window that does NOT face the front street.
C. C.loved the comfortable bed and pillows. Room was basic enough. wished there were more american tv channels to watch. also kept hearing noises during the night - wood and metal sounds and could not understand where they came from. Reception ladies were helpful and friendly especially Amber (not sure I'd got the right name). Housekeeping lady with long hair was also helpful.

A.Room is clean and ok but i hate having to put the key card in the slot before being able to turn on the aircon. especially as i was only given 1 card so if i wanted to go out even for 5 mins i had to turn it off. Also the bed is uncomfortable and rolls all over the floor on wheels that wouldnt lock
S. S.Nice clean rooms, very central to everything. Beware - if taking advantage of the discount Wilson car park, it's only in the multistorey round the corner on Queen St, not the one on Murray Street. I ended up paying $8 just for 5-10 mins while I went into reception to check in. We had a couple of problems with the food from the restaurant downstairs, and the manager didn't respond too well to that, but the stay was generally quite pleasant.

They probably need Rainbow powerful vaccum for the room.
I stayed there 4 nights and on the last night they didnt replenished the green teabags. I was only provided with what they put on my first nights to the 4th nights.
When i showered the water splashed out and flood the floor and i had to request fir a new floor towel.
Also breakfast everyday the same for 4 mornings.
One morning they ran out of peanut butter but it was not replenished the next day.
I am Accor member and I now regret being a member of a 3star hotel in Perth in the city???

L. S.Everything was good. I found all of the staff that I interacted with were extremely helpful and friendly. One of the best experiences in a hotel ever!! One little thing - the bed moves away from the wall when you try to sit up with pillows and read the paper in bed or watch TV. The bed needs breaks!!!

A. N. W. T.I was made guest of the day and it couldn't have come at a better time as I was unwell and had been travelling previously interstate and still had a week's travel to go in WA. A lovely welcome by staff at reception, Nespreso machine, a guest of the day card and a complimentary buffet breakfast cheered me up enormously. Who knew small things like this could make a difference but they did. Given I was unwell the early check in was also greatly appreciated. I required some documents to be printed and this was done quickly and with courtesy. Kudos to your staff for their attentiveness.
h. S.Ibis Perth is in a great location. It's close to some well know restaurants, walking distance to the shopping mall, train station and some night clubs and bars. Hotel staff was very friendly and assisted in all manners with a smile. Bathrooms were clean and our beds were made everyday with clean sheets.

Ibis Perth has a good location, with convenient walking distance to shops and entertainment. Certainly not the most luxurious hotel I've ever stayed at (although that being said we only had a standard room), but was satisfied and comfortable.

M.Staying overnight at the Ibis was perfect when I was attending a concert at the Perth Arena as it was only minutes away from the venue and because it was close to the train station, I didn't need to worry about driving in and paying for overnight parking. The next morning I was able to do the short stroll to the mall to do some shopping. The bed was comfy and the shower had perfect pressure and the girls at the front desk was so helpful and friendly.

I had a room that was right next to the vending machines, which made a constant noise the whole day and night, that was a bit irritating. It was in a very convenient location, surrounded by shops underneath, you could practically walk to most places.
