M. F.I was in 14 day quarantine 25 Feb to 9;Feb. The W.A government has acquired the hotel for Quarantine guests only.
I found the reception staff very helpful, polite and very caring.
Nurse, doctor and mental health is paramount and only a phone call away. They made phone calls to me to see how I was coping.
For staff safety, only health workers have face to face contact to take COVID swabs. The food is delivered to the door in paper carry bags and was plentiful, at time too much to eat.
I read where someone reviewed that the hotel stops care package alcohol and the water is dirty, this is untrue. The hotel is governed by the W.A Health Department rules on alcohol.
My room had a complimentary ten litre container of spring water after this there is a cost with no markup price. I bought milk from the hotel and was told that there was only a drinks fridge and was offered ice pack to keep the milk fresh because of the temperature. I didn't need the ice but thought it was a nice gesture.
The bed was very comfortable as was the couch.
Black out curtains worked 100 % and shade/privacy blind operated by up and down switches.
Other food requirements can be ordered via room service, delivered by friend or family or delivered by Uber from wherever you choose to purchase.
The doctor on call, contacted Chemist Warehouse with my prescription and I paid over the phone.
There is a t.v, safe, kettle and coffee maker and the tap water is very clean.
Free WiFi and plenty of power and USB ports and light switches.
I didn't mind making the king size bed or changing the sheets on day seven, washing my dishes and asked for cleaning products to clean my room. I also did my own laundry daily, but family can collect and launder for you or hotel service for a fee.
Shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash were provided as we're tea bags and coffee and sugar sachets and coffee pods.
The room and shower and toilet are well designed and finished to a high standard also spacious and clean.
My only gripe is no salt or pepper supplied and lunch mainly Turkish bread and salad with good meat fillings.
Since my stay, there have been changes to self-quarantine rules by the W.A government.
I couldn't isolate at home on day 8 because I lived outside the 200 kilometre zone, something not mentioned in any of the Health documents.

A. H.I'm here for quarantine (14 Days-still in quarantine), The room is good - queen size bed, sofa, TV, speaker, mini fridge, coffee maker, table & chair. (everything you need). The toilet is nice, - shower (no tub), sink & toilet. They have also provided me with liquid dish, detergent and a reuse-able cloth.
They feed me good, the food comes 3 times a day and seriously I think i will put on weight (got to diet LOL). It's delicious, complete with fruits and desserts. You can also request anything extra if you need. Some you have to pay example Laundry & some is free. They are really nice and if you them just call them up. The water comes from tap water, it's clean, but I'll boil them first because I like to drink hot-warm water.
Honestly best place to quarantine or relax. Personally, I'm enjoying and appreciating every moment of it.

J. E.I've just spent 14 days in quarantine at the Perth Intercontinental. I was pleasantly surprised by the high level of comfort provided to us. I was nervous about being sent to an unknown hotel and being in quarantine alone with my 14-month-old toddler. It wasn't the easiest two weeks of my life, but the high quality of the room and excellent assistance by staff made all the difference. My room was definitely 5 star. Pleasant decor, comfortable bed, pillow and linen, beautiful shower, big wall mounted tv, coffee machine, tea kettle, cooler (not a fridge), easy to use climate control, automatic blinds, table, chair, closet, interesting city views and enough floor space for my toddler to play. They provided a knife, fork, plate, tea cups and glasses...along with a dish cloth and dish detergent. They were also able to provide a high chair for my toddler. Meals were not 5 star, but I didn't expect them to be. Many of them were excellent and arrived warm. Sometimes they were not as excellent, but I certainly never went hungry. Feeding my toddler was tricky, but a mix of what they sent up and supplies I ordered in from woolies served us nicely. There is something to be said for having 3 meals prepared for you every day. Staff were very responsive and helpful and, from my observation, well trained to follow covid sanitary protocols. It was a pleasant home for my baby and me for two weeks. When the world is back to normal, I would happily choose to stay here again. Many thanks to the hotel team!
