some rooms, especialy the spa suites offer spectacular river views especialy at night.
Perfect vantage point for skyshow.

I'd give this 3.5 stars if I could. Rooms were clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, and theres a great view of the city in the right room. However, the internet is absolutely dreadful, cut out every 15/20 minutes and normal videos had to buffer pretty frequently. Made computer work very difficult. Toilets regularly needed flushing twice as well. Power points were faulty and having no power points near the bed was a hassle.
D. E.
Is comfortable enough. little bit budget but not overly considering price per night. Staff are very accommodating
R. N.
Amazing reception staff, upgrade to top floor balcony room as we were early to check in and our room wasn't ready. Great room with excellent balcony view to the City and very quiet. Also parking is a bonus when you travel from the country.
A. H.
Disappointed on this stay with Metro. Room was stuffy, with mould/mildew around the ceiling and shower recess. The hand basin in the bathroom leaked onto the floor. Much maintenance needed.
D. K. S.
The rooms are very small and the services are also average. If you are a foreigner then you will have a very hard time digesting their food as the options for food is very limited and also it is quite expensive
S. M.
My room had the city and river view from the balcony.
Beautiful at night time.
Great location.
Thank you.
T. J.
Big comfy beds, perfect pillows. Great views and central location. It was noisy the first night but the lovely reception staff member - Aaron- graciously upgraded us to a room with even better views. Spacious rooms. No microwave- not really self contained- so come prepared. Dated but doesnt matter as it was comfortable and great value for money.
D. Y.
Very convenient to everything, the service is excellent and the rooms are spacious. The balcony is a bonus, both for the view and not having to use the air conditioner. The decor and fittings are tired and need updating, it is difficult for older people to use the shower in the bath. Overall, it is a good place to stay, you get value for your money.

Great place to stay. Will stay there regularly. Great view of the Swan river.

I have stayed here about three times and it is pretty good, it's cheap enough and has amazing views across the river to Perth city, easy free parking for your car. Close to airport, very close to city and the food and shops of Victoria Park, carpets could be cleaned properly but I would stay again, convenient location and good price. Young staff are super friendly and helpful.

Stayed twice. Service first time was great. Second time, however, was sub-par. The staff member, a manager no less, was rude and assumed my wife and I were not married, and acted very unprofessionally. Any balcony suite or room lacking a kitchenette is a problem, as staff refuse to provide bowls or cutlery to these rooms, I assume by some policy. My wife and I had to use a large water bottle, tea cups and plastic forks to eat a noodle dinner I'd made with the kettle. In addition, the air conditioning unit in the room was broken, or at least entirely ineffective, as well as the wifi being unprotected AND spotty at best. Some balcony suite.
Get any other room except for a balcony suite and you're set. Plenty of parking, easily accessible rooms.
M. Z.
Older hotel and the rooms reflect this. The room had a large bathroom but only one bed despite requesting two. Parking is tight and difficult to navigate. Adequate accommodation if you are on a budget.
M. T.
Friendly reception. Very clean room. Comfy beds. Lovely view of the city. Very friendly staff. We will definitely come back.
S. B.
The view of the hotel is fabulous. Bank of river middle of the hotel attracts the people to visit there.
T.
Stayed here one night the room was very clean and comfortable. I was pleased with everything. The city view from the 6th floor is amazing. A bit late but a special thanks to the young gentlemen who was at the front desk that checked us in on 29 December around 8 pm he was very helpful and very friendly. Parking is available and free there was plenty of space to park.
Will recommend this hotel.
N. S.
Great location, view, price. Meals are well priced and yummy, the staff are friendly. Only less 1 star for the daily room service, they didn't make up the sofa bed properly and room service rubbish left in the room. Will definitely return for next Perthini vacay.
T. F.
We stayed for 2 weeks while we had to isolate because we flew in from QLD. We were so pleased we choose here! The view from the room was of the Swan River and the City. Good size balcony. The meal selection was more than expected and the portion sizes were huge! Staff were more than happy to help us with delivers and anything we needed. I can't recommend The Metro enough if you need some where to bunker down for a period of time.
J. C.
Big clean rooms with nice views from the balcony.
One of the more spacious rooms, never felt like my family was tripping over luggage. WiFi was slow but not a big problem.
The bathroom may need some renovation and I had a leaking tap.
The air-conditioning was great and comfortable with independent room control.

My partner and I stayed the 29th December. Upon arriving at the Metro, the outside seemed a tad dated however the inside was beautiful and modern. The service from the front desk was wonderful. The room was lovely, the view absolutely spectacular. The location is fantastic and my partner and I went for a lovely walk along the swan river and when we arrived back to the hotel we ordered room service. We were not expecting too much from the food as the cheese and crackers platter we received earlier wasn’t the nicest (but again can’t complain as it’s not as if we paid an arm and a leg for it) but the dinner was absolutely delicious. Some of the best food I have ever had from a restaurant. I ordered the steak and Guinness pie with mashed potato and it was divine! Tasted like a home cooked meal! My partner ordered the chicken parmigiana and the same goes for him. Our stay was absolutely lovely, everyone we spoke to was more than hospitable and friendly. Compared to the crown where you would pay more than triple the price for pretentiousness and less than satisfactory customer service, I would much rather prefer the Metro. Will definitely be staying there again. Recommend it highly.
R. A.
As far as hotels close to Perth go, it is a lot more comfortable than some other places. Great to sit on the balcony and look out over the river and see the night lights of Perth, and a lot cheaper than many.
A. J.
If you pull up and see a police car, it is because Metro hotel quarantine is taken very seriously. Thanks to the great staff for caring professional service while I am doing my 2 weeks quarantine. Very comfortable and great view.
M. T.
If what you need is a bed and breakfast then that is your place, the food is good but they is a generally smell of smoke and my room had a stink of cigarettes I wish I had specified I needed a room without that smell. Otherwise the staff is good.
P. B.
Been here for one night cause the flight was delayed and Virgin Airlines booked a room for me. Beautiful place with all the comfort you need. Big room with king size bed and nice bathroom. There's a balcony too. Clean place and great atmosphere.
A. D.
i spend here for a long duration. its very nice place.
J. X.
The staff were very friendly and efficient in helping me check in and out of the hotel.
From a perspective of one staying in a single room, I found it clean and well provisioned - I particularly liked being able to plug my iPhone into the speaker dock and rustle myself up a cup of hot chocolate!
Sadly, the air-conditioning split system was not working in my room; fortunately it was not a cold night!
Overall, a pleasant place that will give you a nice place to stay for the night.
E. D.
I love the Metro hotel. Great food room service. Great views from the Balcony. Very comfortable mattress and pillows. Very relaxing stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
S. C.
Really helpful staff, large rooms with comfy beds but furniture was basic and bathroom was a bit dated. We ate in the restaurant a couple of evenings and the food was good. Plenty of underground parking which was terrific on the hot days. All up highly recommend for the price.
T.
I normally stay in the CBD when I'm in Perth but decided to give the Metro a go for something different. Very glad I did. The outside of the building is not the best and the rooms can be a little dark and feel cramped but I get that that's a consequence of the building's location and age. However, the service is fantastic. Simon on the front desk in particular was great, very professional and personable and easy to deal with. Wonderful view out over the Swan river, too, and given how busy Canning Highway can be (by Perth standards) the hotel is very quiet. Great value for money, would definitely stay here again.
K.
Have stayed for more than 5 nights over the last month and gotta say....it's one of my fav hotels in Perth. incredibly comfortable rooms with a great setup (especially the bathtub is well appreciated) has incredible balcony views....makes you feel comfy as and its so money affordable! Recommend!! Staff always friendly :)
B. K.
Great hotel. Much nicer inside than it appears from outside!
Bed a bit soft. No other complaints tho
H.
Room was basic with bare minimum amenities and no kitchen or cooking area but the view really was fantastic and was well worth it. The pool area was by no means inviting and the car park was at a very sharp angle both above and below ground. Room was however comfortable and well laid out and the view was very good of the city.
T. M.
The staff were pleasant. Front desk were very apologetic over that but it seemed symptomatic of housekeeping's attitude. The rooms were dirty and looked unkept. Shower was terrible though as it kept changing from hot to cold and there was …
T. N.
The hotel is well presented and clean. The rooms are very much the same well presented, clean and tidy. Aaron the assistant Manager is extremely professional and very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend staying here.
C. S.
Receptionist ( Arin) he was so lovely and friendly to me and my partner , was a slight problem but he fixed it straight away , view was beautiful, room was nice , food was ok , tv signal and internet wasn’t the best
C. C.
The rooms were lovely for a 3 star hotel, however the lobby is such a weird layout. The elevators are in a tiny back corner hallway and it's very cramped.
A. H.
Stayed overnight for anniversary with my partner who lives out of town.
Excellent customer service by the manager Simon and lovely accommodation. Thank You Simon for making it special for us.
K. A.
Very good location with excellent views over the City and Swan river. Definitely go for a Superior Riverview room (upper floors) as the vista is wonderful. Fantastic value for money and handy restaurant on the ground floor.
М. С.
If you lucky and live on top floor with nice view!
H. T.
Another amazing weekend stay at metro Perth. Huge room, beautiful bathroom, amazing food at the restaurant (omg the breakfast buffet) all for a stupidly affordable price.
We've been here a couple times now and booked purely based on price but will be coming back to try the spa suite for our next big weekend away because the service is so great.
Big shout out to all the staff especially Aaron for making the stay so awesome, thanks guys
T. H.
Great views from our room. Good breakfast options. Very friendly staff. Great parking options. Close to river and cafes. Most recent stay. ...need to say that in which the staff handled a situation was very prompt and with a satisfactory outcome. The upgrade wasn't necessary, however we were extremely grateful. Again the staff delightful and helpful. Thankyou 😊
T. M.
I supposed it is cheaper if you booked it together with the hotel. The gentle*** at check in was fantastic and we were in the lifts to the 10th floor in no time. Staff are ultra friendly and helpful. Soi so long as you set your expectations appropriately you shouldn't be disappointed, just don't plan on sleeping in during the renos.
A. P.
Great. Second time being there and i loved it. A bonus was that upon arrival check in was very quick and we were upgraded to a better room. It was great and i really enjoyed the new rooms as they were a great improvements from the old rooms
s.
We were so happy here - it had everything we needed. We booked for two nights in a standard double room; the window wasn't able to be opened but the AC was great, the room was clean and modern with new bathroom, coffee machine, iron & board, safe etc.
Having settled in so quickly, we decided to stay another three nights. We booked one of the Riverview rooms in the 10th (top) floor and the view was amazing!! It was just a standard room so no Netflix and was older than the first room we stayed in but the spaciousness and the view was just too good for the price.
The restaurant and bar have a very relaxed atmosphere and are reasonably priced considering the convenience as well as the fact that this is Perth.
Our customer service experience was absolutely flawless. The staff are ALL so friendly and appear to have a great relationship with each other enabling them to work well as a team - united as one to serve you better :)
Thanks team Metro! You guys totally saved our trip to the most BORING capital city we've ever visited.
D. J.
I'm yet to stay at the hotel, but I just called the front desk to inquire as to why the funds for my booking had not yet been taken from my account. The young man who answered the phone was very polite and informative, and his customer service alone was worthy of a review.
R. A.
I stayed at a Riverview room and the view was very beautiful. The room and bed were comfortable and nice, but the bathroom needs renovation. The hall on the 9th floor needs improvement too.
The staff were generally nice except Muri who checked us in late at night. He was the unfriendliest hotel receptionist I've ever met. He didn't even answer my Hi! Maybe he was sleepy.
Another thing to improve is the location of the restaurant kitchen, the smell of food is everywhere.
Finally, the free car park was a great thing.
B. M.
I have been twice to The Metro Hotel for a business meeting in their Conference Rooms. They catered a lite supper, tea, coffee. The Staff are friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to our return next time.
w.
Have stayed here numerous times over the last 20 years and used their meeting rooms too. Good central location, close to airport, city and good freeway access too. They have modernised a lot over the last few years and I will return.
T. M.
I have stayed here a few times now and its great. Room is big. We could see the city and Elizabeth Keys as well as kings park and the new stadium and Casino. Not mentioned their new suites ,clean with balconies which I quite enjoyed. Great buffet breakfast can be included in the price.
M. B.
If I was on personal travel, fine. But for a work trip, not so much. While the room was big and clean, it had nothing to sit on apart from the desk's chair or the bed. Bathroom needed some work. Overall the food was excellent, however after having room service every night I wanted to get out of the room and eat in the restaurant. Not very relaxing with the TV on (the fact Eddie was on made it worse) and aggressive flourescent lighting. Like I said, not so bad for personal travel (especially considering the price).
T. S.
Great hotel, I've stayed here 5 times so far and love the renovations they have done to the place. Beds are super comfty and rooms are decent sizes, prefer staying in the apartments here rather than the rooms only because the bathroom is larger and I like having the lounge area. The staff are always lovely, every visit ! The best view of the city and the optus stadium. Close to the casino, so cheap taxi ride ! You can also book through fly buys travel and earn points or use points to help pay !!
R. B.
Large Clean comfortable room but very tired bathroom in desperate need of refurbishment. Good restaurant, nothing flash just hood simple food. Excellent breakfast selection. Very helpful friendly staff. Reasonable prices
M. B.
Comfortable bed and nice look out to see perth city.
K. P.
Well priced for a family stay x 4 ppl. Awesome views of the city from a superior river view room. We stayed for hockey at phs. Plenty of easy takeaways close. Also, had Indian delivered. Ate at house restaurant and it was delicious. Well priced food and bar. Clean facilities. Really friendly and helpful staff. Will stay again and recommend to others.
B. L.
The room a bit small but still got a shower and a tub in the bathroom. Ample of parking space and the hotel staff are very nice. Convenient location -- close to Perth Zoo and just a 5-minute walk to Cole's Express and a 24hr McDonalds. The only comment is the rather strong smell from the kitchen near the lift lobby.
S. D.
Big attraction for me was 24 hour check in. Arrived 2 am to efficient and very courteous staff and was in bed by 2:10. Room was clean, very spacious and with all amenities. Step in bath had very easy 30 cm step over. Ask for a high north side room as they view across to the city from 703 was superb through full height windows onto private verandah. Only ripoff was WiFi rates at $10 per hour
O. C.
Hi all a very pleasant stay very clean lovely staff and a great place will stay again 😊regards Owen
P. G.
Great 3 star hotel. It has been fully renovated and is good value for families. Close to the Crown casino and easy access by bus or taxi to Perth CBD. Wonderful city and river views from many rooms.
K. H.
Stayed for work. Great rooms, neat and modern. Good WiFi throughout which isn't nearly common enough. Fantastic staff and everything was very reasonably priced.
T. M.
Metro Hotel is located at the suburb of Perth City with a quiet and lovely neighbourhood. We'd asked for a room on the quiet side when we made our reservation. The hotel is on a main road but the noise wasn't to bad. Breakfast was good. May stay there again as the price is pretty reasonable.
T. M.
I was delighted with the Riverview Superior Room that I booked ahead of time. The hotel is very well situated in South Perth and is away from the rush of Perth City. After trying to use a discount card we were told it would be cheaper to …
C. O.
It was ok. Nice on the inside but bathroom had midget bath and I had to crouch to get under the shower head.
Also the king sized beds aren't. They are two single beds with a sheet over the top.
If you want romantic times, then it's barely acceptable. Look for something fancier.
M. S.
My partner and I stayed at the Metro Perth Hotel as it was close to the Crown theatre (Cats the musical) close to the river, absolutely affordable and easy to get to.
The staff were super helpful, room service options were plenty and it took absolutely no time to get a small snack (cheese board) and a bottle of wine delivered before heading off to watch CATS the musical at Crown just down the road. We'd pre paid the buffet breakfast for in the morning but decided to get going (we had to pick up a new car by 8am) and we mentioned this to the restaurant staff who then proceeded quickly to grab us takeaway drink cups, small paper bags for their selection of pastries, toast and muffins and some of their fresh fruit before sending my partner and I on our way with a delicious breakfast on-the-go. This was fantastic and the food selection was great quality.
I'd definitely be looking at staying there again next time I head to Perth.
M. C.
Quite close to everywhere we needed to travel, parking was plentiful and easily accessible. The room was quiet, and comfortable.
R. S.
Great location for the price. The rooms have all been updated and are now quite modern. No complaints here. Friendly staff. Parking can be a bit short
N. I.
Functional rooms. Conmfortable and clean. Bathroom a little tired. Bar small but stocks a good range of refreshments. Restaurant busy. Good basic menu. Safe place to stay for business. Perhaps a little out of the way for holidays. Great value.
T. M.
Not regret to choose this hotel. I stayed in a Superior River View room which provides, as you would expect by the name, a good view of the river and Perth CBD which looks great at night. We had a quiet nights sleep and woke early for breakfast.
H. L.
We are a family of four and we loved it. Staff are friendly and place is clean. So is the pool. One piece of advice tho, do not walk barefoot on the grass next to pool in summer. There's wifi but we can't seem to connect to it. Its walking distance to closest Maccas and Coles fuel kiosk and a couple more restaurants. Thank you for a relaxing weekend xx
J. A.
It is what it is, 3 star hotel. Rooms are due for a refurb. Overall though the rooms are large and spacious. Their restaurant chef needs to get his act together. After waiting for over 1 hour and not receiving meals, we walked out! Checkout took too long. Need a quick system.
J. X.
Location is good if you have a car. Parking is free. However the room, furnishing, air conditioning, everything is very old. Not for the fussy. Basic room for about $100 a night. Easy to get a lot.
A. Y.
Free parking and wifi in a convenient location. Bus to the city and canning bridge station every 15 min. Rooms are very nice and the front desk staff are the best. They do everything to make your stay comfortable!
S. L.
All our family about 30 of us had an amazing time at the Metro Hotel Perth. The rooms were excellent with amazing views of the city, and the staff were so friendly and nothing was a problem. Would recommend to anyone.
C. N.
Pricey considering how run down everything seems. Staff seemed unprepared for the volume of people, and waits at the restaurant were up to one hour.
The facilities have modern av equipment, however there weren't enough chairs for the room sizes. The carpets need replacing in the corridors.
C. s.
No pool, no gym, no smoking even on the balconies.. the smoking area feels (and looks) like youv been stuck in the naughty corner.... Room service food is a little disappointing... there is no microwave or anything for re heating your own food or options for cooking for yourself it's either the very sadly very poor quality and suprisingly high priced and small servings of hotel restaurant food or take out ..... though for a quick one night stay it's not too bad the views are nice and the modern style is to be desired.. the bathroom feels clean! Entertainment defiantly needs to be updated ... they offer pretty much nothing the tv's are not smart tv's, free to air channels only, no cable channels, no foxetel, no Netflix, no youtube... no dvd players, not compatable with usb.. no radio/CD player or speaker system of any kind. If your planning on spending More than one day here be prepared to spend a lot on food and entertainment...

On arrival at check in I was greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, however I was a bit taken back by being requested for a photo ID, and and on presenting my New Zealand driver's licence being told that it was not acepted, could I show my passport? So I then had to open my suitcase on the foyer floor and find it. Come on! This is a (barely) 4 star local hotel, not exactly a gateway intenational hotel. Even at domestic airports in Australia my driver's licence has been acceptable ID, also at every other Australian hotel for that matter.
Having read previous reviews I requested a quiet room away from the highway, but I was assured that my room was now double glazed and traffic noise was no longer an issue. The check in staff were wrong on both counts! After a 12 hour night shift followed by a full day travelling I was looking forward to a long catch-up on sleep, and did not appreciate being woken by the morning rush hour from 7 am.
The room itself was "roomy" - three small rooms in fact, consisting of bedroom with double bed, lounge/kitchenette and bathroom. Confortable enough however a fairly recent freshening up of the decor does little to disguise the fact that the Metro is an aging building and somewhat outdated. It was warm enough too due to an elderly and somewhat noisy AC unit set into the wall. The bathroom was clean enough but there is nowhere in the shower to place soap or shampoo and the two piece sliding shower door looks like an original fixture and tended to stick and come off its tracks.
The "bar" is a add-in affair of separate units cobbled together in one corner of the foyer, and featured a very friendly young barman who mysteriously appeared via a diferent route to show me to my seat in the dining room.
The dining room is rather dingy and cluttered, and I have to say that I was not at all impressed with the smorgasbord on offer that night, or the breakfast next morning.
The one redeeming feature of my stay is the friendly staff who were very helpful on each occasion I asked for assistance.
One thing I must add is that I would not like to be in this hotel in the event of a fire. There are no sprinklers in the rooms or in the corridors, and although there is a brick escape stairway with fire doors at one end, the other end features a completely open full hieght stair well which would allow a fire starting on a lower floor to very quickly spread through the building.

Staying in Perth for a weekend when living in the Bush can be tricky. Found a great place called the Metro South Perth.
Lovely and clean, check in and check out was fast and efficient. Staff very friendly and helpful.
In house breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice.
My biggest advice is bring your own pillow, don't think I've ever had a worse pillow. If you are tall don't expect to wash your hair, the shower head is very low.
C. T.
Loved our room and comfy bed. Bathroom needs a bit of a reno but it looks like the hotel is in the processes. Good price and helpful staff.
T. M.
You could tell that the hotel was starting to try to update the rooms and the shared areas which is good. The staff are very helpful at reception. The staff here are very accompanying and always have a smile. I'd certainly stay here again if the room price was again around.
G. T.
Budget hotel in a good location. Room is dated and in need of renovation. View of city is excellent. WiFi is free but speed is only for browsing and email. Carpark is free. Staff very helpful.
N. A.
The beds and room are nice. The bathrooms need a major upgrade. Room service was good except for the burnt sauce with my sticky date pudding
T. M.
Location was a short walk to the Swan River and an even shorter walk to the bus stop that takes you into Perth CBD or Fre***tle. The floor where our room is quiet. I think my car is safer on the street. We did tend to congregated near the breakfast area and we duly moved on.
L.
I had a wonderful experience - nice views, friendly staff. However the one and only thing that let it down was the cleaning. Over all it was good but on the balconies there were cob webs, dirt and smudged glass.
T. M.
I absolutely loved this hotel and would stay again in a heart beat. Pretty good location. My partner and I have stayed at the Metro several times over the past few years and the refurbishment inside the rooms is excellent. The hotel was close to the city and sporting grounds.
D. H.
LoVe the staff and room always so perfect!! So happy they had a "Bible" available in the room to read as I left mine at home! Especially needed it as we are living in challenging times now. Beautiful veiw room 10th Floor.Room 101
T. M.
We read the reviews and thought that sometimes things just happen so with the recommendation of our son and daughter-in-law we thought we would give it a go. The next day we were moved to the room we were to get and it was cleaned and the …
C. T.
Stayed twice in a fortnight, first in the old section, 2nd in an "executive suite" actually preferred the old section - room was a bit bigger, and doesn't have a glass door on the ensuite, which would be okay if staying as a single, but as a couple, can be annoying overnight. Staff are friendly and welcoming, would come back, but will request the old wing.
T. P.
Unbelievable view, spent most of my night on the balcony enjoying it. Room was fantastic, bed was great and the bathroom was spotless. Look forward to staying again 🙂
G. H.
Hotel is good location. Rooms are good and staff are friendly and efficient. I didn't like the fact that when you make a booking they take the money upfront.
M. G.
Spacious room for me and my 3 daughters we shared 2 big king beds and had a great girls weekend.
Close to shops and takeaway restaurant's. Fantastic city views this is the place to see australia day fireworks and aerial tricks from planes and parachuters. Ask for city views when booking. Bath could be updated to spa. Microwave would be handy. Pool , bar , restaurant downstairs all very handy. Staff friendly and help with directions. Handy drive thru parking . You have to turn off before you reach hotel and go up the right street to access the parking in rear located carpark easy enough after doing it a few times. Suits my family well each time we visit perth.
M. F.
Clean, comfortable, great views. The staff are exceptional. In all a great place to stay.
b. r.
Great location. Good city and river views. Pool area is about to be renovated. This old hotel could also do with some more renovations. Lots of returning clients.
A. S. H.
Pleasantly happy with my well priced and very clean room , great on site facilities imcluding a disabled parking bay, restaurant and bar on site. Lovely check in staff.
J. B.
I really like this hotel. Its ur typical South Perth. Not in ur face but quiet laid back class. Staff arent annoying or nosy i appreciate that. Allows u to go about ur business comfortably & hassle free.
E. R.
Small rooms but comfortable, they do not offer lunch service but breakfast and dinner are good. Need some updating but overall good service and nice people. Great location
C. M.
Great rates for a very reasonable room. Booked one if the lower apartment and it was quite spacious if not particularly luxurious. Overall fairly enjoyable stay.
n. t.
The service is really good and friendly -- top staff! The rooms and restaurant have seen better times, and could really do with some refurbishing to brush of the recent years/decades.
T. M.
Stayed here from Thursday -Monday and was very pleasant. Meals arrived in good time and were hot. The restaurant is very expensive, but we found most restaurants in Perth to be expensive much more expensive than Sydney and certainly more expensive than we are used to in North America.
P. M.
This is our preferred place to stay each time we visit Perth. Theres parking, the hotel is clean, it's located perfectly near shops, and restaurants plus there's a service station down the road and the staff are friendly and provide great customer service.
A. I.
I was here for a conference and didn't stay. I needed brekkie and was disappointed. Cost too much and subparr machine coffee. $18 for Continental breakfast would be reasonable if it was good. The break time drinks and the lunch were late.
E. D.
Room was huge. A king and 2 singles for my family. Very clean and tidy. Awesome front of house seevice. Had room service and it was fast and yummy
R. M.
The Aspire rooms are decked out nicely. Clean and functional with great views. Nice addition of Soak amenities also.
i.
Super friendly staff, felt very welcomed. Room was very clean and worth the money. Recommend to everyone.
J. B.
Staff are very hospitable, working with them to host of event at their function rooms was a pleasure. They are very accommodating to our specific needs and wants in order to make our event a success.
J. H.
Attended a training session during the day. While the building itself is aging, it was clean, neat and tidy. The lunch was homemade spread which was good. Service was good.
E. S.
Great customer service, amazing food and room service. Happy to accommodate to dietary requirements and very friendly.
Nice sized room, good value for money and incredible river views.
L. C.
Affordable, and suitable for the working folk. Not much entertainment or shops around, but the breakfast menu is good and the room service portions are huge.
T. B.
I have lived at the Metro for over a month. I have found all of the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the W.A.C.C.A. The Perth Zoo and 4 very good shopping centres also within walking to the Swan River. Thanks guys for all your help.
G. R.
Stayed here on many occasions with a excellent friendly young man by the name of Aaron I think checking us in but on the 14/02/2020 a foreign girl with absolutely no customer service skills checked us in and for that reason alone they will never see my business again .
R. H.
Clean rooms but very basic. Free parking is good and great location.

When there for a professional event, the rooms and seating were very nice and comfortable. Food and drinks that were provided were also very nice. Overall a good experience.
A. A.
Been staying here for over a decade. Always great service and nice rooms. Skt show the best view in town.

Had a delightful stay at the metro hotel! Can’t say the hotel was too busy and the staff we’re very welcoming 🌟
R. G.
The rooms are great: service excellent. View is what its all about watching the lights come on over Perth is awesome.

Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere,, tidy, with few nice perks, a stunning view of perth city. if you go for a room with a view, nice restaurant and small bar and very nice staff.
G. E.
We arrived in perth on Thursday.. and was greeted with such warmth and friendliness.. the staff always willing to help..the accommodation was perfect.. best view for Australia day..we stayed in quite a few places.. but Metro Hotel was by, far, The, best.. convient and.. very comfortable.. thank you guys for the great service.
T. M.
Could cope with that but the traffic noise from the highway meant no sleep. Loud buzzing from the engine. There were nasty stains on the carpet and walls some walls had been touched up with paint that didn't match. Unfortunately Perth is becoming known for over-priced hotel rooms and the room here was not worth the price paid.
L. W.
Customer service was fantastic. Thank you Aaron and Simon for going above and beyond for me during my stay. I really appreciate it.
J. B.
Really nice place to stay, comfortable rooms and amenities. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was delicious too.

R. N.
I was here for a business seminar. It was well catered and well laid out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking onsite was also great.

Very nice accommodation with stunning city views and a decent breakfast bar. I'm very impressed by the Metro, its facilities and its staff.
K. S.
Decent hotel off the city but with nearby fast food if need to grab a quick breakfast before starting on your road trip
C.
Nice view of the city, comfortable beds, could do with a few upgrades. Overall comfortable overnight stay.
S.
Nice affordable room with spectacular veiw of over the swan and to the city from your own personal balcony....It was great to have a change and to venture out from staying in the hotels in the CBD and instead enjoy watching the sunset over kings park and the glow of colour from all the lights in the city..... Plenty of onsite parking....
B. A.
Nice hotel conveniently located with casual atmosphere. Parking can be a hassle. Value for money.

L. N.
All ok, but the interior could do with some updating because even though the bathroom was clean the tiles etc made it look old and dirty.
A. D.
Food was great for the event I attended. Noticed the bathrooms could do with an update not just a paint
K. W.
The overall hotel is clean. There's limited lounge area for business user and the reception/ entrance is at the back of the hotel rather than the front.
