It was a shame our food took so long to come out for the set menu as some of our party had to leave and didn't get their desserts the courses had taken so long. B. J.Went for a last minute decision dinner at OBH,place was booked but the staff squeezed us in a table by the window. The view was absolutely amazing as the sun was going down on a beautiful Perth day. Plenty of sun and COVID free. The staff where very quick to bring menu’s and water. We ordered drinks and our meals, and they were prepared in next to no time. All I can say is that all staff were awesome to us tonight. Unfortunately I was so hungry after smelling the food before us, I forgot to take a photo 🤦♂️.
I give a 10/10 for staff, food and cleanliness. Will definitely return.

N. B.Loved sitting next to the water feature with the huge carp they need some more lilies or something in pond.. My swimmer crab spaghetti was lovely but my friend wasn't that impressed with prawns on an avocado mash. Not that tasty for her.
B. W.Nice hotel with included parking, situated on the beachfront and near amenities. The rooms are tired and are reminiscent of the 70's but in saying that, everything you need is available. Recent rate revision means it's even more affordable and the included extras make for a nice stay. The best rooms are the spa rooms on the tip floors with ocean views.

N.Delicious lunches with an amazing view. Great specials available. The staff are really helpful and friendly. We opted for the Friday Fish and Chip special.
Everything on the plate was well cooked. The chips were crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle. Perfect in my opinion.
The simple garden salad was so refreshing. The grilled fish was delicious. The home made tartare sauce was so creamy and full of flavour.
They also do an $8 cake and coffee special. Big variety of delicious cakes to choose from.
Staff were very attentive and service was lovely. Will be back.

T. F.Great location, quite a nice view if you can get a table near the windows. Food was pretty disappointing; the Angus burger was most certainly a bought patty which was an automatic turn-off. Apart from that it was an all-round average experience. Such a pity given the potential. Won’t be returning.
d. a.It's in an excellent location, close to some of the nicest cafes in Perth. However the establishment isn't very nice. The rooms aren't very clean, as there was thick layers of dust in certain areas and above the wardrobe, the Wi-Fi is horribly slow, no laundry service, and the rooms are very noisy. You can hear conversations of people in hallway while in your bed, through the vents to other rooms and the sounds of pipes running people's showers. If you're unfortunate enough to be on the pub side (north side) you won't get much sleep if you're a light sleeper.
The rooms are very big though and the staff are extremely nice. The 1 minute walk to the beach is a real treat.

M. F.Our local so I love it. Generally good value for money with is surprising for Cottesloe. 10 dollar brekkie is tempting and a decent special everyday. Could do with a special guest tap beer and a decent stout on tap every so often. Don't bother with the cocktail bar upstairs unless you are young.

A. M.The OBH is a decent boozer, with a surf shack vibe and a reasonably priced bar it's one of the better pubs on the waterfront.
With less pretentiousness than the Cottesloe and a large sports bar attached at the rear this should certainly be one of your stops along the waterfront pub crawl.
The food is pretty decent and the dress code is relaxed. Don't expect too much of the staff as it's self service once inside. Good pub.

If I had a question they were eager to help. Tje restaurant and bar attached to the hotel were great as well. If I am ever back in the area I would definitely come back.

G. M.The OBH is the 'go to' pub we take our visitors to. Just for the sunsets and atmosphere! Sunday arvo we ate in the restaurant and all the meals were reasonably priced, good portion size and quality. The herb crusted Barramundi special was exceptional. Wait staff were excellent. Service in the front bar however was very slow with one customer getting frustrated enough to walk out. Understaffed it seemed, although it is rare to find switched on, motivated bar staff these days.

C. T.The only great thing about this place is the stunning view- that's if you can get a seat. Everything else is just bog standard average pub. Average prices, average food average layout. The front bar is always crowded and full of bottle blondes saying 'like OMG' every five minutes. The back section is all thongs and singlets- features include a TAB, outdoor seating and pool tables.

As far as the restaurant and bars are concerned, the staff seem lovely, manager seems uninterested in staff and customers though!
I watched a couple complain for a wait time on food and the manager spoke with the staff member and never returned and left the staff member to deal with them from there.

J. W.You can't beat the location, which is right along the fantastic Cottesloe beach, as the name implies. Rooms are large and clean, comfortable. It can get a little noisy weekends (Sunday session especially) because it appears to be a popular stop, but you can't fault the hotel for that.
S.Not the flashest of places but a $10 big breakfast? Can't go wrong.... only thing is drinks always come after. My partner and I visit this place once a week minimum!

D. B.Summer weekends the bodies are everywhere .. fun if that's your thing. But during the week you can have the back room almost to yrself. Good pool tables, table tennis even, foods ok, staff are friendly. It's a kind of heaven.
