A. M.Staying here is always a pleasure. The staff are so extremely helpful and approachable at any time of the day for the smallest of support. The rooms are very clean and well kept. Having the option of a room for mobility makes the trip all that much better.

Comfy bed and good shower, quiet room. Quick and easy check in and out. Best value in central Perth. Completely recommended and we will be staying again.

K. O.The receptionists were incredibly nice and welcoming, the lobby had a wonderful smell and the rooms were clean and tidy! The only thing I can say that would be good to improve would be how to operate the air conditioning, but it wasn't terrible as we found out how to do it eventually! Maybe a little diagram or just a bit of text saying how to use it would be nice, but other than that, it was 10/10.

C.I had a really experience during my stay at the Pensione Hotel, the front desk staff were always nice, helpful , friendly and checking in and out process was easy and quick, my rooms were very good although I really like room 704, I highly recommend that room, Although nothing wrong with the other rooms , overall great and comfortable clean rooms, The llaundry facilities are good and the coffee shop staff were very nice and friendly as well as I really enjoyed my breakfast there, the hotel location is ideal in the heart of Perth's CBD, and the value for money is great.
B. T.Jasmine and Michael went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable during 14 days isolation. The location is excellent just out of the mall and perfect if you need RPH or coved testing around the corner. Beds and linen are five star quality,water is hot and plentiful and air conditioning quiet and worked well in 37 degree heat. The rooms are not large but understanding this aspect enables you to make a considered opinion. This is reflected in the room rate. Well done staff and management. A GEM in our city.

K. K.I stayed for 2 nights with the Winter Special. A very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere when greeted at Check-in. The room (Petite King), was perfect for me. The bed was super comfy. The staff were very friendly, and were very helpful, always showing a warming smile & greeting (which cheered me up a lot over the weekend). The Express Breakfast was also very nice. I had the Toasted Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Panini & a Flat White (perfect for refueling the body, for the day ahead).<br/>I would highly recommend Pensione to friends & family, and look forward to staying here again (I've already booked 2 × 2 night stays in the near future).

The bed is very good and having an in room fridge and safe is very handy.
The hotel is very well located, right next to a bunch of restaurants, coffee shops and a good shopping street is just below.

g. v.Lobby was cozy and the bed was reaaaallyy comfortable to sleep in. The toilet was alright, with the room being pretty clean. However, the room lacked sufficient power outlets and were really small. There was barely enough space to open the luggage I had, and once they were open, there was almost little to no space to walk around.

J. W. G. M.What a fantastic place. We have stayed there due to proximity to the hospital for personal reasons and twice we have had to cut our stay short. Both times the staff have bent over backwards to accomodate our changes and have offered a refund at short notice. I can’t fault them or the rooms which are clean functional and modern - five stars guys

M. D.Great location. Room is small but comfortable except for the really dry air from the aircon... made us feel dehydrated. They don't offer complimentary water like most hotels but expect u to "donate" 4 dollars for the charity water they supply in the rooms. Hotel has no special facility. Cleaners don't clean the room really well. The only thing we love about the hotel was the great location and very nice bed.

Hotel location is excellent for CBD. Only downside was that a/c unit was blowing right over the bed meaning you couldn't have it on at night or if you were just chilling on the bed. E. R.I've just returned from a stay in the Pensione Hotel Perth and I was happy with the friendly helpful staff, both at lobby desk and housekeeping. My room was a little small but considering I was out most of the day and only coming back in the evenings and sleeping the size was not really an issue. The room was very neat, clean, functional and comfortable. My bed was one of the most comfortable beds I can remember having in any hotel/motel I've stayed in. Hotel was quiet, bright, modern simple decor, two elevators which were always quick to arrive after button pressed. I would have to complain about the small, hard, plastic stool in my room as the only seating other than the bed but, given the configuration of the room I can see why it had to be this way. It's close to shopping and places of interest. To complain about anything else of my room or the hotel or the staff I'd have to be really, very picky and hard to please.
Would I recommend others stay at the Pensione? NO! It might end up being all booked out by others and then I'd have to settle for another hotel so I'll keep the Pensione a guarded secret.

R. t. S.Convenient, great city locale, courteous staff, clean rooms but Parking may be a hassle during the day but easy to get around this as there is one 5-minute Set-down only street parking. The hotel provide downstairs at an extra charge around $20 which is relative to other hotels in the heart of Perth City. Do not expect views of great heights here but there is the appreciation of been surrounded by many heritage buildings, to be noted, such as the original Perth Fire Station HQ which is now an awesome museum, RPH (Royal Perth Hospital), Law Courts, St Mary's Cathedral, Northbridge, Perth Arena within walking distance or the free metro CATs (Central Area Transist) that'll take you within and the outskirts of Perth City free of charge.
B. K.Cheap excellent hotel, honestly can’t go wrong for the price! Room is a little small but everything is very modern and is stylish. Parking is a little hard though so be weary otherwise staff friendly 5/5
T. M.We stayed here for 3 nights on the 2nd stop of a tour. The location is simply perfect to where we want to be as per our itinerary. The entire property was spotless regardless of the time of day. Every hotel staff was focussed on helping the customer as much as possible.

G. B.Great rooms, handy location. Get a free ticket for breakfast if included in reservation and eat at your leisure 11am or so or take back to your room. Everything seems new and shiny.

This hotel is not wheelchair friendly: steep stairs at entrance. Complimentary, low bandwidth, WiFi (faster WiFi available at extra cost). Surcharge for paying with credit card. No breakfast, but they offer a discount at nearby Miss Maude's.
E. S.Located in the center of Perth city. Room is quite small but enough for two to stay for several days. If you pay some money, you can use external gym and this gym is pretty good. Some rooms don’t have heating system - if you stay here in winter, make sure that the hotel knows you want warm room.

Very much enjoyed the extensive selection at breakfast (accross the road at Miss Maud's): large variety of sweet (pancakes, French toast, croissants, fruits, etc.) and savoury (scrambled eggs, baked beans, several cheeses, etc.) food.
T. M.Husband and I stayed here for a one-day stop en route to a conference. Everything about the rooms was very nice. All the staff at the hotel was very friendly and very helpful. Location just good to meet my business. The whole experience from arrival to having to leave was excellent.
M. M.The rooms are small but clean. It's just a bed and bath, but I don't see any point in sitting around in a hotel when I can explore the city on the doorstep. It has everything you need and the bed is comfy. The location is great and you can walk everywhere. There is a great restaurant across the road.

Glad I booked weeks in advance as these guys like most other hotels get booked out with mine workers / fly in - fly outs etc. Refurbishment seems to have lifted the place alot. Rooms small but really clean, well designed & comfortable. Very quiet considering city location. They went over the top with their service which was great from the moment I checked in to when I left 3 days later. Nothing was ever a problem. I've stayed in a few 8 Hotels around Australia & they always do a great job! Definitely my new place in Perth. BTW Fitness First have a fantastic Relaxation area with Steam Room/Sauna, Aromatherapy Room & Gym only 3 minutes walk away so felt like I had all I needed.
J. A.The hotel has a Greta location with short walk to centre of town and shops. The hotel is clean and service at front desk was friendly and professional. The rooms are on the smaller side but for the price and location a great deal.

The hotel room was very small (standard double) - I was glad I'd gone on my own, as it would have been quite claustrophobic. As it was, the wardrobe only just coped with my few clothes. However, that said, the price was right, the hotel room was clean, well provisioned and the staff were friendly and helpful. If I had to stay in the city again, on my own, I would definitely choose it a second time!
They have corporate and premium double rooms which are larger and would suit longer stays for more than one person.
W. A.I have stayed here twice while studying at the university campus directly across the road. The rooms are exactly as described on the website. I stayed in a "Petite Queen Room" which was small but very comfortable and good WIFI. Highly recommend and I will be staying again when I am back in Perth.
C. S.The room was small but very clean. There was a big step up to the bathroom, busted my shin on it once. Wasn't sure what that was about but I think it wasn't the hotel it's just an Australian thing. The hotel is pricey but right downtown and its next to My Place Bar and Grill which had good food and drinks, and across the street from Miss Mauds Restaurant which had an excellent breakfast buffet. When I go back to visit Perth, finances allowing, I'll stay at the Pensione again.
A. I.A clean and compact, no frills room, with fridge and safe and a view of the great, old Sally Ann place next door. Lovely, friendly, polite staff and the best central location, close to city malls and Royal Perth Hospital.
A. K.Wonderful staff and good facilities. The rooms are clean and cosy. The hotel location is within walking distance to all the shopping centre and public transportation. Although they don't have a restaurant in the hotel, there are a lot of nearby Asian restaurant.

B. H.The hotel is ok although rooms are small. The personal is friendly and competent. So far 4 stars for the hotel. Issues occur if you come with a car - there is only on legal place to stop in front of the hotel - this was occupied when I came with my family on a Sunday evening. I didn't realize (my fault) that the spot next to the legal spot is a non-stopping area. I stood there 2-3 min to unload my luggage & my family and to ask where the garage is. I the meantime I got a ticket. I explained and offered to disappear right away but she didn't even listen. The ticket was 200$ (this is not a typing error). The concierge was also unhappy and offered me the garage for free.
Bottom line: 4 stars for the hotel, 0 stars for City of Perths hospitality!
R. H.Anyone who has ever tried to get a decent and well priced hotel room in Perth CBD will understand how difficult it is. The pensione is not the best, but the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and the price is right. If you're looking for somewhere to crash for the night and you're on your own it's fine.

w.Easy to park and very secure under the building parking with security gate. Nice hotel and very central to Perth city. Park and walk everywhere. Lovely clean rooms and very quiet being on Pier street.

As the Pensione was settleing arrangements at the restaurant, we luckily had the best breakfast ever, but at Miss Maud Restaurant, just in front of it. Unmissable! Miss Maud (the woman) is very brave and established a catering and hospitality complex, very famous. Fine food and warm staff, featuring Teresa and Thallya. Congrats Miss Maud! K. C.This is what I wrote for TripAdvisor: Stayed in the Petite Double. Petite is a very accurate description. The hotel is spotless and seemingly entirely white, glass, stainless steel and black marble. Beautiful. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Other reviewers complained the beds were too soft. They aren't sink in soft, they're comfortable BUT they are like jelly. Every slight movement your partner makes has the whole bed moving. This totally prevented my wife from getting any sleep. I didn't get much. As the whole purpose of being in Perth over night was so that she could attend an exam first thing the next morning this has completely ruined our trip. The free WiFi has a max down speed of 0.12Mbps and 0.37 up. I tested it. So back to the 4G then. A pay-for "high speed" option is available. The hotel does have a car park, secure, underneath and serviced by the lift from the lobby. But it is up a ridiculously narrow alley with 90 degree bends that make it very difficult to get a long vehicle like a Crewman in and out. I managed but it is a struggle. Breakfast was only available by going across the road to Miss Mauds. Would I use it again? If I was single and not in the Crewman.
N.Like most Hotels nice and clean. Was good for one night. If you staying a couple of nights with two people its probably a bit narrow. Breakfast is just across the road at mrs mauds and its defenetly worth the money!!

C.The Pensione is located right in the city - perfect location with Miss Mauds across the road who does a great buffet brekky-the room we stayed in was kindly upgraded by the pensione and I had the best sleep ever - room was immaculately clean - decor was modern, we had chocolates bought to our room - very sweet gesture from the hotel- since I had booked quite a few rooms for a work fuction the service I received from Linda at The Pensione was superb-Linda was extremely professional, efficient & friendly. Thank you Linda and all the staff at thr pensione - I will definitely be back!!!
